Feeding Westchester

This is a wonderful organization doing great work for humanity. I volunteered a few weeks ago and I will definitely do it again. Also, I will be donating to this organization so they can continue to serve people in need.

I went today to the food pantry at 461 south 6th ave in mount vernon . Horrible horrible …. I was on the line for 1 hour and the people From the trucks where grabbing boxes and putting it in there cars and grabing boxes of food for them . After they let us in the first few people got boxes of items and double the items by the time the line was by the middle there was nothing left . And then i get home to find out that the only items I grabbed are expired ! How is this feeding westchester ? This is a joke and unbelievable’

Horrible waited 30 minutes , then when I got home found out all of the food is days / months and years old / moldy oranges / moldy grape s ....horrible Delivering bad food for the hungry or for at least hard working people whom want to get free food , and struggle with their groceries have an upset stomach ...
