Phoenix’s 12 Best Indian Restaurants | Eater Phoenix

"Tucked inside a halal market between a Lebanese spot and a deli counter, this tiny counter-service gem doesn’t look like much — just a few scattered tables and to-go containers — but the food more than delivers. Specializing in Hyderabadi flavors, Feel in India turns out deeply comforting dishes that punch way above their price point. The Haleem, a slow-cooked dish of meat, lentils, and wheat, is rich, silky, and spiced just right — one of the best versions in the city. The chicken dum biryani is fragrant and deeply flavorful, layered with tender meat and caramelized onions in the traditional Hyderabadi style. Other standouts include the buttery-soft roti, Chicken 65 biryani, and Dum Ka Chicken. There’s even a solid cup of masala chai to round things out. It’s the kind of place that feels pulled from a Hyderabad side street — unassuming, soulful, and absolutely packed with flavor." - McConnell Quinn

Very inconsistent, I had mutton biryani 3 times from this place and every time it’s different. First time it was good and meat is tender but they put very less pieces in the box for 20$. Second time It’s all bones no meat and the third time, mutton pieces were all hard and burnt, you could see it the picture. From next time I’m afraid to get it cuz the quality is drooping down every time I get it. I have 3 star cuz the biryani rice is flavorful.

Feel in India – Best Hyderabadi Food in Phoenix Feel in India, inside Jerusalem International, is a great place for authentic Hyderabadi food in Phoenix. Their Haleem is rich, full of flavor. The Hyderabadi Biryani is perfectly cooked with fragrant rice and tender meat. The Dum Ka Chicken has a delicious, spicy gravy that goes well with fresh naan. The food tastes just like Hyderabad, which is hard to find in phoenix. If you love Hyderabadi flavors, this place is a must-try!

Feel in India is a culinary gem that effortlessly blends traditional Indian flavors with international flair. The moment you step in, you're greeted with warm ambiance and a menu that promises a delightful journey for your taste buds. The standout dish was their signature Butter Chicken Ravioli - a brilliant fusion that marries Italian pasta with the rich, creamy goodness of India's beloved butter chicken. The spices were spot on, and the presentation was Instagram-worthy! Service was prompt and friendly, with staff eager to guide you through the menu's creative offerings. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Whether you're a local foodie or a visitor looking for a memorable meal, Feel in India delivers. Don't miss their weekend brunch - it's a treat!

Great place to eat authentic Hyderabadi food. It’s rare in US to find these kinds of Biryani and Dum ka chicken with Rumali roti is just wow. Tried and liked recently added Chicken and Mutton Mandi.

I just left Feel in India, it was by far the best I've tasted. I love curry and this was cooked fresh but under 20 min. The butter chicken curry with saffron rice is what I ordered, the food was hot, enough to take home left overs, and affordable. Will be going back to try more on the menu! Then you for the good food and courtesy🍛😻🫶

Came because we saw it had almost 5 stars and were suckers for a good hole in the wall joint. After dining here I’m convinced all their raving reviews were purchased or incentivized. Little walk up restaurant in the back of a supermarket. Market was dingy and looking at the meats inside the freezer burned coolers sketched me out. We were the only customers and after ordering, the guy behind the counter said it would be 10-15. Exciting. Fresh food. We ordered combo 2. Everything was cold except the sauce to the chicken briyani. That was delicious. The chicken itself was over cooked so bad the bones were breaking off and crumbling. The naan was cold. The rice was cold. There were flies everywhere and the 2 tables hadn’t been cleaned so we sat at the less dirty one. It seemed like there was plenty of time to clean up as the worker was hidden behind the counter on the phone and we had to peek around it to get his attention. Stay tuned to hear if we got food poisoning. The worker was very kind and helpful with suggestions. But over all experience was highly disappointing. Not worth $40

I was very impressed with your food in the beginning, but I had a couple of disappointing experiences afterward. Once, when we ordered mutton biryani, it had a fishy smell. We assumed it was nothing and ate it, but the following week we ordered biryani and kebab again. When I went to pick it up, the staff member seemed disinterested and was on the phone, and unfortunately, the kebab had an unpleasant odor, almost like a used kitchen cloth. We couldn’t eat it and had to throw it away. Since then, we’ve been hesitant to order from your restaurant again. I kindly request you to look into this, as food hygiene is extremely important and can affect the health of many people.

Yelp
Feel in India Restaurant in Phoenix, AZ was a nice experience. I had Rumali Roti and Dum Ka Chicken. It was the first time I had Rumali Roti in the USA, and it was really good. Both dishes were fresh and full of flavor--it truly felt like being in Hyderabad. The staff was friendly, and there's a small sit-out area for dining in. The restaurant is located inside Jerusalem Grocery.

Yelp
Less than a mile from my home I was excited to see an Indian restaurant pop up. They have good food, roti is the best! What I don't like is that they don't always have chai which is on the menu. I learned that I have to call "do you have chai today?" Nope, very rarely can I get their chai which is very very good when they have it!!!

Yelp
IIt is a hole in the wall place inside the Jerusalem International Market. Food was reasonably good. We tasted rotis with egg curry, Samosa and Veg Hakka noodles. Was not a big fan of the noodles or the veg Samosa. Something off about the taste(oil?). Could be also because we went around 8:00 pm on Christmas Day, and they were running out of food due to multiple orders. Try if you want Hyderabad style street food taste.

Yelp
If you're looking for something authentic Hyderabad's cuisine then you are at the right place. My favorites are Dum ka chicken, Hyderabadi mutton dum biryani and chai. 1 order of these can be served for 2 people. We prefer Togo every time. Since the food is good we don't worry about Ambiance.
