For the flavor and price we paid, even the service and atmosphere are not at the top-notch I would think the five stars are appropriate! I was very surprised to see the lady she is rolling away the dumpling wrapping like machine. All the steamed or boiled dumpling are hard made in the restaurant! We also love the beef Chao fen! You can really taste the wok “qi”! This one is really tasted like home! We have one more night of stay in London, if no surprise happened, we will be back for another dinner here!

Love that "fortune chopsticks." Magic did its own job after dining here. Prawn handmade dumplings are brilliant 👏 I'll bring more friends here to try it out. Bia:-)

This tiny hole in the wall is packed: with local diners and also with Authentic Flavor. Overall great, with one very minor quibble. Sorry we could not order more: we loved the pork fried rice (perfect bite to the rice), the steamed dumplings (piping hot and delicious), the beef tendon noodle soup (the broth, the so soft beef, the egg noodles, all perfection). The hot and sour soup, my measure of an excellent chinese restaurant? Very spicy, at the edge of my comfort, a nice consistency, a great mix of tasty ingredients: egg, pork, wood ear, bamboo: well balanced. And then: is that Tabasco generating some of the heat? Odd. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll have this again, but that was the only ‘tasting note’ that was not straight up authentic. Attentive service. Overall loved this place.

September 2024: Stopped by for dinner and ordered the broccoli with garlic sauce and the ma po tofu. We checked with the server that the ma po tofu didn't come with the numbing peppercorn spice. The server checked with the chef that they could leave it out of our dish. That was a nice accomodation because I find the numbing peppercorn takes away from the dish (all I could feel would be the numbing peppercorn). Overall , I enjoyed the ma po tofu a lot. Went very well with rice 🍚! The broccoli 🥦 was very tasty. The table next to us were stating that they have to get that dish next time! 😄 Service was fast and friendly. I would definitely come back again for more delicious food!

Sichuan sterfried belly pork was quite good, salty and slightly hot. Wonton noodle soup taste was a bit too plain but the noodle was ok. Pork dumplings were not bad.

Lunch, consisting of Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings, Sesame Seed Prawn Toast and a glass of chilled Les Boules Rosé Vin De France, was SUPERB. This restaurant is so inviting, with pleasant and helpful staff. Situated on busy, noisy Strutton Ground, it's a tranquil, comfortable, hidden haven. The delicious meal was served swiftly by very able waiter-cum-cashier, Abir. Wonderful and highly recommended...!

1000% deserving of the TikTok boost they’ve gotten. RUN, don’t walk. These really are the best handmade dumplings in London. The pork/chive dumplings were succulent, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The pan fried prawn dumplings were stuffed full with whole pieces of shrimp, no mince there. And the salt and pepper squid was wonderful, well spiced and cooked with a light batter. I’m so sad we can hear our last day in London since now we will have to wait for our next trip to return. Thank you for the delicious meal.

A fantastic gem in London. I saw the owners tik toks and he instantly drew me in with his charisma. I traveled 5000 miles and after the journey found myself at his restaurant. It was an incredible experience start to finish. Every member of staff was so helpful and friendly. On top of the service their food was incredible. They did not lie when they said the food had spice and I couldn’t be happier because of it. Everything was packed with so much flavor and the hand rolled dumplings were fantastic. I could not recommend this place more.
