"The Verdict: Even if you're curious about this farm-to-table spot thanks to TikTok, skip this. Feld is one of the city’s most anticipated new restaurants of 2024, especially if you’ve been following the head chef’s many TikToks about preparing this Ukrainian Village spot. But the resulting dishes—a $198 tasting menu with 30-ish courses that calls itself “relationship-to-table” (whatever that means)—are very underwhelming. Some seasonal offerings, like a raw halibut and corn bowl, are flavorless. Others are lazily plated, like a cheese course that simply lays out two triangles and a square like it’s trying to teach a toddler shapes.
