Food was great, ended up ordering the Sloppy Joe since it was their signature sandwich and it was my first time here. Sandwich lived up to it's name. Meat was good, as was the bread and the toppings for the sandwich. What made it difficult to eat was actually the crust of the bread. The crust was quite chewy (not in a bad way, just the nature of the bread) compared to the tender meat, and so it was hard to bite off chunks without ripping the sandwich apart. Still, that's part of the fun!
Place was clean, modern, and fun. There was plenty of seating but I came off peak hours. Getting there was a bit tricky. I thought I might have put the address in wrong since it felt like a dense residential neighborhood, but then then deli popped up all of a sudden on my right. The roads nearby have some pretty steep dips and bumps, so drive carefully.
Why the missing star you might ask? When I got handed the little PDA to pay the bill, it seemed like my waitress had already helped herself to a 20% tip. I hit "accept" on the screen expecting the tip options to pop up, but was surprised to find out that I had accepted the final bill. The menu did say that 20% gratuity would automatically apply to groups of 6 or more, but I was dining alone. 20% is what I would normally do anyway, but something about that process left a bad taste in my mouth.
