My son and I had such a memorable and enjoyable experiance at the PYHO event. On the mold creation day, Alisa not only educated us on an art medium we never tried before, she also made it fun and encouraged everyone's creativity! The day of the pour was fascinating and informative. What a great way to spend a couple winter days in Wisconsin! Garver Feed Mill was also a wonderful venue for the class and event.

What an incredible resource and asset to the community. Madison is absolutely fortunate to have such a unique, entertaining, and frankly, legendary studio like FeLion! Metal casting is such a strong way to build community and engage with the public. The Pour Yer Heart Out event is old enough to drive a car, and it will come as no surprise when this event is in its 90th year, continuing to bring together artists from all around the region to create cast iron work while offering opportunities for the Madison region to create their own work alongside us. I’m absolutely honored to come participate as an artist and look forward to years to come.

I had a fantastic time creating my mold with tips for making a design that would hold up to the pour and process of releasing it from the mold. The volunteers and workers at the pour were all friendly and answered questions. I do like and respect the care that the studio takes for everyone’s safety during the actual pouring as well as while working with the silica sand molds. An experience for all ages to marvel at. Well done FeLion Studios.

Fabulous fun. Cool iron sculptures from molds you make[scratch tiles] and molds they make from clay three D structures you form with your mind and hands. one of a kind result. Try it.
