Very authentic Austrian spot that really captures the vibe of Vienna. The place is super cosy and feels carefully thought through, not touristy. Prices are a bit on the expensive side, but the food easily justifies it (excellent quality and clearly traditional). A great choice if you want proper Austrian cuisine and atmosphere in Berlin.

Lovely place for a good hearty meal. The Schnitzel & potato salad was excellent. The smaller portion was more than enough for one person. The dumplings were good and very filling.

The pork schnitzel was so good! The breading was really light yet crispy. Seasoning was also perfect. The portion is very big as the potato salad and cucumber salad are included

I was here for the first time today. The (Kalbs-) Schnitzel was really very good, as was the accompanying potatoe salad and the cucumber salad. I was a bit disappointed by the Käsespätzle. They weren't bad but the were missing the hearty depth of flavour that I associate with this dish, unfortunately they were also a bit too luke warm for my liking. I would definitely go again however and stick to the Schnitzel!

Portion is very big, but very authentic schnitzel. Its pity that even with reservation, we end up at the take away side of the restaurant. Service is good, fast and friendly.

Absolutely top quality schnitzel! This is one of the very few places where I prefer the veal schnitzel over the pork! We came on a warm day so were able to sit outside by the bike path. Note that you'll get lots of bikers zipping by during your meal if you opt for the outer row of tables! The service was friendly and recommended some dishes to my date when she struggled to order something different from my standard Schnitzel. Alas, she ultimately opted for the Schweineschnitzel and I got the Kalbschnitzel, both with Preiselbeeren of course. When the waiter brought it out, I was blown away by the portion size! I did opt for the large portion while my date got the small, but I didn't realize how large it would actually be! Very surprising, given the quality and price. Anyway, I gobbled the entire thing up because it was fantastic and was absolutely stuffed. However, I couldn't say no to my favorite dessert -- Kaiserschmarrn, which they make fresh so it takes around 20m to prepare. I will say that it wasn't my favorite take on the plum sauce, but I still shoveled it in and finished the whole thing. Overall, I'd definitely come back here for the top-tier food quality and maybe try some of their other entrees. Maybe I'll see you there. Guten Appetit!

Lovely cozy restaurant, with really good schnitzels! The salads on the side were really good too and great balance! Highly recommend this place

Get your butt to Kreuzberg and put some schnitzel in your face. This place smells like fried stuff and lemon. Wish I could take it all home.

The food was fine. The schnitzel was quite thin and have used a bit more seasoning (there was salt/pepper on the table). The potato salad was a bit wetter and more sour than I was expecting, maybe it's supposed to be like that? Their portions are gigantic, so if you're under 200 lb I recommend sticking to their small portions.

Nice rooms and quick service. We had the regular size pork schnitzel and spicy sausage. The heavy portion of schnitzel was thin and the breading was plain. The spicy sausage was delicious.

Tried this place almost by accident as I was wandering the area near my AirBNB looking for some authentic German food. They managed to squeeze me in on a small table near the hostess station since I didn't have a reservation which was very loud especially with all the really loud bangs and crashes from the kitchen. Didn't bother me and if you get a seat outside it would be great. Service was very friendly. I had a Stiegl pilsner with the Debreziner sausage as a starter. Pilsner was great, the sausage was also very good and just a teeny bit spicy. Then had the veal wiener schnitzel with lingonberries and a cucumber salad which was awesome and so big that I had to take about 1/3 with me. Schnitzel for breakfast anyone? Had a stadtbrau all natural beer which was good. Finished with an apple strudel and an apricot brandy.

I was lucky enough to find this place on my first trip to Berlin. Needless to say, I will bring my family back here soon. Great service and even better food more than fairly priced.

Super nice place serving Austrian food in a away from the center of Berlin location. The staff is very nice, efficient and helpful. Aside from the Hornets outside buzzing everybody (a common problem in Berlin) it's an excellent dining experience. The schnitzel portions are huge! I will go back.

Excellent schnitzel Cucumber salad was outstanding. Spaetzle was mediocre. A bit dry. Service was good. Remember / it's Berlin.

I haven't had a lot of schnitzel but this was very good. I do think however, I might not be a schnitzel person, though as I liked some of the other dishes me and my party got a bit better (my cousin swears this place has the best schnitzel in Berlin). The veal schnitzel was cooked well and the breading was extremely thin and crisp. I also really liked the salted cucumbers they give you (I'm a salted cucumber addict). We also got slices of pork roast and gravy which was excellent. The dumpling that was similar to a matzah ball (?) was super tasty as well. The sauerkraut was the best I've had (take that with a grain of salt though, as I haven't had that much sauerkraut). The waiter was super sweet and put up with my horrible German. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a menu in English, if you require it.

Wow! The best potato salad and seurkreut I've ever had and my boyfriend loved his cheese schnitzel. So many incredible mustards with my sausage too. I got a baked traditional Austrian sausage and didn't like it (too plain for my taste, one uniform texture, kind of like a giant hotdog). I didn't like most sausages in Berlin, though, so depends on your taste :)

Hello travelers! I went to Felix Austria for some traditional German/ Austrian food and it was wonderful. The service was better than most German restaurants. Our waiter and host gave me other restaurant recommendations. For the food, I had a Randy beer to start and a large Weiner Schnitzel. I highly recommend this combo.

We've eaten here several times during our stay in Berlin and overall it's been very good. The rostbraten is excellent, as is the pork schnitzel. (I haven't tried the veal). The schnitzel is really thin with an absolutely delicious fried crust that makes every bite excellent. I order the small portion but that's still plenty of food. Service is slow, but not that much slower than any other local restaurant. We tried the spaetzle and it was good, but I think Matzbach (across the street) has better. I would highly recommend this place.

We ordered the mixed breakfast, beef soup with pancake, cheese pasta and kasierschmarm. Breakfast is served until 4pm and it was too early to order the other items at 11am, but they made it for us anyway. Mad props for having an English menu.

Great Austrian food, friendly service, and relaxed atmosphere. I went here for lunch with my 5 year old daughter and wife. No problem getting a table at that time of day. The waitress was really friendly and came by the table a few times to make sure that everything was OK. The daughter had a small portion of the schnitzel, but being an Austrian restaurant, there isn't such a thing as a small portion. It was accompanied by delicious potato salad and a cucumber salad. Wife had gulasch with semmelknödel, again a "small" portion, which was more than she could eat. The restaurant has a blackboard with specials that is worth checking. I had the sauer braten with kartoffelknödel. It was scrummy, as was all our dished. Really good Austrian food served in a relaxed atmosphere.

This little Austrian restaurant has conquered my heart and stomach! The food is without pretense and simply delicious. The staff was super nice and present just the right amount... and their suggestions where right on. ( Apfel strudel mit Apfel-Birne Schnapps!) I guess they won me over with their welcoming arms, great food and rockabilly tunes pouring out of the kitchen!! We will be back!

Good Austrian Restaurant in Berlin Kreuzberg - Bergmannstrasse. Minimal-cheap look, with high quality food. In other words food tastes good, is well cooked, and portions are reasonably big. Ingredients taste natural, fresh and and on-site processed. Plain and simple, but tasty! The menu offers a pretty wide choice: from soups, to appetizers, seasonal courses, main courses and desserts. Not to mention cheese and sausages, the ones you expect from an austrian restaurant. Breakfast menu, sandwiches, coffee specialties are also interesting. Just the coffee (beans) do not match the overall good experience yyou can get there. Average prices for a full course EUR 25/30.

It's not so wow! I mean, we ate o.k. and the service was very nice, but we didn't get the delicious Austrian food we were looking for.

First thing I would say is, reserve a table either outside or in the 'main' part of the restaurant if you want to go here because the only alternative with have you jammed in to a small uncomfortable corner in a less that Ideal room (at no extra cost!). The food is hearty Austrian fare as the name suggests. I can't complain too much about the quality of the food, I enjoyed all three courses, Beef soup with strips of pancake was tasty, the veal Schnitzel was lovely, the cucumber salad too. The potato salad upon which the veal Schnitzel was laid however did not, in my opinion, have the right balance, it was too heavy on the vinegar. The Kaisershmarrn was a nice way to end the dinner. Table service was friendly and congenial.

They have the best pork schnitzel around, in my opinion. Huge and thin, comes with a delicious cucumber salad and potatoes. The place is very small, but we've never had a problem getting a table in the evening. There's also a really great beef dish that I unfortunately can't remember the name of.

Stumbled upon this place for dinner. I was actually supposed to go to the other Austrian restaurant down the street, but they weren't too friendly. So, I ended up eating here instead. The food is pretty good and the outside seating is really lovely. It's a great area, so you can't go wrong.

Wonderful and reasonably priced food, with friendly and patient service. We had wonderful moist schweinebraten with a dumpling that resembled the best matzoh ball ever and rich sauerkraut. It's white asparagus season, so one of the specials featured asparagus with butter sauce and a thoroughly ungreasy and tasty wiener schnitzel. I didn't taste the sausage plate, but my son raved about it. Desserts were particularly good - the cakes had thick layers of whipped cream, and the fresh apricot dumplings were soaked in butter. Our server was more than patient with our inability to speak German, and proved a friendly and helpful host. What a find!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. Quality Austrian food at reasonable prices. Get the Leberkäse. It is so tasty. Their breakfast is also quite good. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Seriously that was my best wiener pork schnitzel I've ever eaten. Even when I think now about I I just wanna run there and get another one. It were 2 schnitzels on top of each other taking over half of the plate. They were thin and the breading was thing too which I guess is the secret that they were just perfect!!!

This restaurant used to be a place I would go quite regularly in the last 5 years. Besides the good food it always had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. So as it happened the other day I booked a table after not having been there for a little while to find out that everything has changed, bad, really bad service, unfriendly almost hostile, which let the food that was still ok look pretty bad. I don't know what happened, if the mass of tourists spoiled the owner, but do something otherwise you'll have lost a faithful client and many more who used to come as well.
