Felix: Modern American Dining

We always drive by this place and always wanted to try it out but when you have 3 kids it’s hard to make this kind of decisions ! Last Sunday we were just walking and decided to give it a try! They welcome my family and all my kids with a big smile ! They are great and hospitable! The atmosphere and the service were excellent and professional! And let us start with the food !!!! If I can give 7 stars I would ! The best burger I have ever tested! We got lucky to sit next to a table that was ordering from the dinner menu and we were amazed to see the variety of the dishes and the value in portions! Even as basic as French fries was amazing taste! Check the amazing plates we order ! And definitely don’t forget to try their cocktails!!! All are Amazon and delicious

Great restaurant for dinner or a fun brunch with an eclectic mix of food options including good cocktails and burgers, asian apps and a ton of other options. We came on a Sunday and there were a ton of large groups for brunch with a DJ, so the place was fun and loud with music. The bloody Mary was awesome and the Smoked Salmon Croquettes (5/5) were amazing and the Crab Rangoon (5/5) dip was amazing, we were so full after those we didn't get an entree but everyone around us were ordering burgers and I can't wait to come back for that and a Reuben. The smokey old fashioned was also good, they have a happy hour during the week and this spot is the perfect addition after Hutch went out of business.

Waited months for this corner spot to open. Menu is a little sporadic, like they haven't picked a genre despite the diner vibe. Nevertheless, the food was good and service friendly. In the diner spirit I ordered the pork chop. The cocktails were particularly well done. The layout and decor are great. This might have to be my local bar spot. Will definitely be back.

Came for dinner for the first time and had a great experience! Service was on point and our food and drinks came out fast. We got the crab Rangoon dip, Toscana flatbread and 1871 burger and all 3 were fantastic. The place itself was super cute and quiet enough to easily be able to have a conversation but not so quiet that it felt weird. Can't wait to come back!

We came in on a Tuesday night during happy hour and had the best time! Lesley, our server, was amazing and attentive. She recommended some happy hour cocktails and we are obsessed with them. Best cocktails in the area, hands down. Appetizers were perfect and we LOVED the Elote salad. We live in the area and are so excited to have a nice place to go for dinner!

Came to Felix for brunch and it was great! Tried the Chilaquiles and Strawberry Chantilly French Toast. Enjoyed both dishes and would definitely come back again! Big plus was the portions were surprisingly huge and inexpensive. Staff is very kind and service was great

What a welcome addition to Lakeview! Food/drinks/service were wonderful. It was a little too bright in the dining room with the track lighting blaring down, but it's a new space and I'm sure they'll work the kinks out. We had the Rigatoni, Potato Skins, and the Felix Burger. DELICIOUS and portion sizes were great. Glad to have this in the area!

We were very excited to see a new spot in the neighbor and it certainly exceeded our expectations. The menu has a little bit of everything from small plates to steaks! We had the caprese, crab dip, loaded potatoes, lasagna, and burger! Everything was extremely fresh and tasty. Also love what they did with the place- the atmosphere and vibes are great. We’ll definitely be back, and can’t wait until you have your brunch and cocktail menu up and running!

This place opened at the end of May 2025 and it has been a great go to for their food and happy hour! The happy hour drinks are very well priced and they have a handful of happy hour plates you can share with people. We had the Lasagna, Parmesan Fries, Calamari, Mac n' Cheese, and Caesar Salad. The Mac n' Cheese and Lasagna were the best dishes by far. Everything else was very tasty, too. On top of that, they have a great atmosphere. Definitely coming back.

Run don't walk to visit this restaurant and try their food. I came here as apart of a special sponsored event, however I purchased a glass of red wine and wanted to highlight their Happy Hour menu. This place has Happy Hour with a range of appetizers, cocktails, wine and beer for discount prices. The Cabernet that I tried was delicious and from California. I was surprised that it had a sweet element to the finish. Happy Hour is done correctly here, any appetizers on the menu are served full size. The bar is sexy, but you aren't limited to the bar. The HH is done for the full restaurant. Stop in for a discounted drink and appetizer and then stay for dinner. You won't be disappointed.

I passed by before and thought it looks nice from outside. Inside was even cuter! The service was great. Everyone was friendly and kind! I liked how the food didn't take too long even though the restaurant was decently full. We got picanha, Denver and Caesar salad for food and mango spritz and Felix 75 for drinks. Everything was relatively reasonably priced and portions were generous too. No it was not the best food I've had but definitely one of the best sub $30 steak in downtown. The only negative was how I ordered medium rare and the steak came out more medium/ medium well.

The owners of BITES recently opened this nearby spot...and if you know BITES, you know this will also be a huge success. They redid the Hutch space to make it more fun, funky and contemporary. It wasn't super busy but we went on a weekday and anticipate they get busier as the good word gets out. We went on the same day they obtained their liquor license so while they were serving, it was just the basics. The food and service were excellent - loved that the staff was well educated on the menu as it has some unique features (in a good way!).

Felix has been such an incredible addition to the neighborhood! I feel like their big thing is classic items but elevated. Everything we've tried, and frankly it's been a lot of the menu at this point, has been better than expected. The 312 Tini is by far my favorite drink, not too sweet, not too alcoholy - it's also cute with a little orchid flower floating on top! If anything, the inside of the restaurant itself feels like it might be a little nicer than the menu prices would suggest, it's just very well designed and modern. Never had any complaints on the service, and they also have a little rewards program you can join that I've gotten some cash back from already. One call out is their happy hour is one of the best in the neighborhood - currently M-F 4-6, and it's a great deal - it's taken one of the top spots in my friends and I's rotation. Can't recommend enough!

Customer service was great! Food was delicious. Came out quick and hot! Easy to find parking.

Came with a reservation with friends and had a lovely table near the window. Very cute place. The waitress was super sweet, charming, and attentive. She also gave great advice for options. The steak was cooked perfectly. The potato skins were super delicious and a huge portion. The side spaghetti was a massive plate. The elote wedge salad was so tasty. The drinks were strong and delicious. Definitely would come again.

Great service and atmosphere! Got the BLT on rye, was delicious and definitely loaded with hearty bacon. Live DJ was a great touch and made for a lively experience

We ate here on a Friday evening. They seated us right away, which was great. It was crowded, so we had to wait for our waiter. That took longer. My husband had to flag them down since they were busy. The place had many tables and lots of people, but it wasn't so loud. We were able to have conversations. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer, which was delicious. We also ordered burgers, fettuccine and a margherita flatbread. All were fine, but I think their burgers were very good. If I go there again, I would get another burger.

Excellent service, food and ambience. Burgers and lasagna were delicious. Definitely going back.

Tried this place for the first time this past weekend and it was great!! We will be returning! The bottomless brunch special was great value and the juice options were perfect! We ordered the burger and the BLT and both were delicious! The bacon was so yummy too- nice and thick and perfectly cooked- also their fries are really great! Service as quick and so nice and friendly. Space is really cute too!

Ahh! This used to be Hutch. Remember that! This is by the people that's behind Asian Bites. I had their fries & other items. The staff and service are felixriffic.

First ! Tried the food during the soft opening! Thanks for the invite! Love the decoration and ambiance. Great food! My baby daughter even loved the picanha and grilled asparagus!

Stopped by Felix's on Saturday for a late brunch. Was a little sad they didn't have a brunch menu but the restaurant is brand new and will have it up in the next couple of weeks. That being said, we ordered off their lunch and dinner menu and the meals were very tasty. We got the elote salad, burrata and Rueben. The sandwich was probably one of the best Reuben's I've had in the city. The elote salad was also perfect. I was disappointed there were no brunch items but still giving a 5/5 for everything else. I would absolutely come back for lunch and dinner another time. Restaurant was brand spanking new, so very clean and the servers were very attentive.

Realllyyy good man. Super great food. Really good stuff. Even better dudes. Super good. Got me good. Service kinda not super great maybe cause they're new but food was great man. I had a lot of fun man. Get the calamari and that dip they have.

Amazing food and experience! The place is beautiful on the inside and the bar area for dinner and drinks is comfortable and welcoming.

This place is brand new, so keep that in mind. A few areas they can improve on is timing of food- we got apps after dinner entrees and 4 of us got our entrees before (way before) out 5th diner. The food egg plant parm for one of the diners was inedible- stringy and impossible to cut. The potato skins were extremely tiny and looked sad. Overall the kitchen has some work to do and I am hoping in time everything will come together. Iris our server was kind and wonderful and the bussing of the table was good for water refills but we sat with dirty dishes until we left the restaurant. The ambiance is nice with the large windows. If I do return, it will be in time so that they can work on food and service in general. Remember, this is a place that has only been open two weeks.

The food was great, the burger definitely being the best thing we had. More than anything the service was wonderful and extremely attentive to our table. Very chill music too
