Feliz Modern POP at Pearl

Feliz Modern POP, which is located at The Historic Pearl in San Antonio, Texas, is such a wonderful small business in SATX! :-) Per their website, "Feliz Modern is centered around the most important thing in life: connection. Connection with friends, family, and community through art, humor, entertaining, celebrating milestones with gifts and parties, and spending time together. Co-owners Mario & Ginger Diaz both come from art/design backgrounds, and wanted to create a space for colorful local and global art, gifts, and home decor with a San Antonio flavor that would also appeal to a wider audience." I recently visited for the first time while shopping for cute gifts for a girlfriend of mine, and I'm so happy to have discovered this space!! They have so many adorable gifts, including cards + stationary, ornaments (particularly around the holiday season), books, mugs, clothing, pet items, stickers, and keychains. For the Swifties out there, they have lots of TS-inspired novelty gifts! The space is beautifully curated, and the staff are very kind + helpful. I'm looking forward to returning here in the future!

The place is cute but I'm a little disappointed because they short-change you in their favor due to the "stop of penny production." Which probably isn't a big deal to some but to others who are struggling and still want to support businesses, it is. Round up to the nearest nickel, not round down. Otherwise, you're raking in extra change at the end of the day. My daughter bought some small things but it was a good lesson to a 10 year old on what the "rounding down trick" is.

A lot of hand made stuffs and so many cute items that attract ladies or girls hearts as mostly things are girly items! Quality seems to be nice and because of that it’s a bit high end. We enjoyed our windowshopping indeed! :)

Such a cute shop! Fun gift ideas! A good spot to get four stickers to remember your trip to SA! Lots of SA stuff but also a lot of TX stuff! Highly recommend this cute little shop!

Feliz Modern Pop, was a fun stop for us after we shopped the Pearl Market, we popped in and looked around and purchased a really cool shirt, had a cold, soda, and took some really cool photos to share, but mostly we were impressed with the hospitality we received upon entering the store, great staff, intentive of your needs, and willing to open your bottle of soda. My 80 year old mom felt super welcome and engaged in conversation with the ladies. Nice store, clean, and cool on a 105°F day. Thank you ladies for allowing me to stop in with my family and review this location. Also, remember you can shop online and they will deliver!

So many cute and colorful items. I came looking for earrings by Fruity Poms, but they didn’t have any unfortunately. The salesperson checked the inventory at the Olmos store for me which was a very nice thing to do.

I popped in here to check out the wares as the fun colours drew me in! I really loved looking at the unique trinkets they had for sale. Lots of stickers, key chains and knickknacks. It’s the right place to get little unique gifts for the people in your life. The staff was friendly. It was pretty busy as it was a market day but the store was clean and organized.

Electric, youthful, and modern pop culture is the best way to describe what is contained in this shop. Find items influenced by popular artists such as Warhol, Basquiat, and Kahlo with a slight twist. Interesting art like this is needed around the pearl.

Always so fun to visit whenever I'm in town! Lots of cute knick knacks where there's something for everyone. They've got everything from their huge sticker wall to home decor and stationery. Staff are so friendly and the price is actually pretty decent for how cute and unique some of the items are. It does get a little crowded on the weekends but that's to be expected since it's in the pearl.

Feliz Modern POP is a shop that you will find all sorts of unique, whimsical, local, and might be some of the best curated modern gifts in town. I have been enjoying Feliz Modern's curated line of gifts and SA-related shirts, art, stickers, and all around their bright and fun aesthetic they bring for years. My sister and my friends know that this is the place to shop for me for birthday, just for fun, and/or my birthday. This location is right in the Pearl area with all of the other one-of-a-kind shops. Parking is always easy and the storefront is steps away from the parking lot. Be sure to give yourself some time as you will want to spend some time looking at every thing here. Prices for their gifts, even if it's a gift for yourself, is totally worth it. There are no other spots in SA that I can think of that is so diverse in their offerings. They got playing cards, artwork, candles, a wall of awesome stickers, soaps, candles, bags, hats, glassware, jewelry - you name it. They got it here. Service is always friendly and whenever they ask me, when I am checking out, if I found everything I wanted, I always say "Yes, for now...!" and try my best to not want to buy the entire store when visiting.

I came to this store last week and it's literally my new favorite store for souvenirs. I loved loved loved everything. They had a lot of things Spanglish which is my favorite. They had Mexican candy and even things for your fur babies. Such cool and unique gifts I'll definitely be back. These were just some of my favorites.

Had a great interaction with staff during my CAST Imagine 8 grade Explore SA! Field Experience. Students had wonderful conversations with staff about merchandise and put their math skill to work by staying within their budget. Thank you, Feliz Modern!

Very cute original items but for sure the prices are astronomical. I'd been following the progression of watching this start from like at at-home gig to now having a physical brick and mortar store in an area such as the Historic Pearl, props to them!! Everything is adorable, but for sure reflects on their prices..

Great store for fun things you can't get anywhere else. Funny, creative, and bright store with plenty of gifts and accessories for every kind of customer. Pretty reasonably priced as well!

This is a lovely local gift store. We went in specifically to get some of the fund-raising SA IS AMOR stickers and were not disappointed. The employees were helpful, let us shop on our own timetable, and knew right where what we were looking for was located. There were plenty of clever, creative items in the store, and it would be a good spot for picking up local flair as a gift or souvenir.

LOVE THIS PLACE. They have the coolest, most unique stuff. We found a lot of things that made us smile or laugh and I feel like now days that's super important. I loved everything from the small stickers to the large unique pillows. I actually want to come back and buy stuff for our house. If you're looking for unique gifts, this is the place for you to come as well. There's something for everyone, and I guarantee they wouldn't have it already. Prices are fair, staff is friendly. Plus you get to enjoy the pearl while you shop here.

What can I say but this place is for sure a diamond at the Pearl. Such fun chotskies!! (For those that don't know what a chotskie is, it's a trinket or knick knack) And they have the best. Puro SA items for that local in your life or that one that wished they were. Go in and have some fun as you laugh your way to the checkout counter with your new treasures!!

I love this store down in the Pearl. Incredibly unique items. Lots of San Antonio items that represent SA as a whole. I could spend a small fortune in their shop. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Limiting customers, providing hand sanitizer and wearing masks. Feliz Modern is by far one of my favorite local stores to buy gifts! I always visit their main location in McCullough, but decided to check out their pop up location inside The Pearl because is closer to my home. This store is definitely smaller in comparison to the other, but they still have plenty of cute stuff. I've always been a huge fan of their birthday card section, and got a birthday card for the hubby and a teacher appreciation card for a friend. They are following strict COVID-19 guidelines and only allowing a limited number of people at the time. Everyone must be wearing face masks and they have hand sanitizer available by the entrance. I like that they have plexiglass dividers at the checkout area to keep both customers and employees healthy. Thank you Feliz Modern for the awesome shopping experience!

Walking up to the store the employee with purple hair notified myself, my girlfriend and our friend that the store was at capacity, that when 3 more people exit the store we can shop in there. Waiting a few minutes, two people walk out. The same employee said "Well, two of you are tiny, you count as one person. All three of you can enter". We were all stunned, awkwardly responding to that insult. 1)She admitted she let us in OVER capacity, during a pandemic that we are all supposed to be taking seriously. Clearly, Modern Feliz Pop's employees don't care. 2)Not only insulting myself and my girlfriend, calling us both "tiny, you count as one person.", but that also really insulted our other friend with that we were with. Modern Feliz Pop hires employees who verbally judge their customers' size. On the way out I confronted the employee, letting her know we are leaving because we are uncomfortable at the inappropriate/disrespectful comment she made towards us on the way in. She showed no remorse.

I was wondering around Peal this weekend, and I stopped in Feliz Modern POP for a minute or two. It's a cute store, but it doesn't have things you really need? Lots of tchotchkes, would be great around the holidays or if you're shopping for gifts for some other reason (birthdays). I got a couple of pretty locally made thank you cards. Definitely a cute store.

Puro fun! This San Antonio-themed gift shop has something for everyone on your list. SA has it's own vibe, with our own inside jokes, themes, and decor. This store has all of it! This place has all kinds of fun stuff for your walls- colorful Mexican/American themed stuff that'll make you smile every time you see it. This is the second shop of Feliz Modern. The other one is up the street in Olmos Park, and is even larger than this one. My favorite part of this store is the bumper sticker selection! They have so many great different options that look great on my water bottles, bumpers, stop signs, Trapper Keeper binders- everything! When I went, the staff was extremely nice. They opened the doors for us, and were happy to answer all our questions. This shop is within the Pearl, and sometimes they shut down all the streets in here, so you often have to park in their garage and hoof it. The shop is easy to access with a wheelchair.

What a cute shop! Such a fun place to shop small and find unique gifts and things. From local artists to artisan gifts and one of a kind stickers/games/socks - this place will have something fun to peak your interest. There are a lot of San Antonio themed items, Texas themed items, as well as some references to pop culture. There were stickers of all sorts - almost a whole wall! They also have different themes throughout the store depending on which holiday is right around the corner. Pricing is a little on the higher side, but that's what you get for unique items and when supporting a small business like this. A great place to find one of a kind things.

This is an awesome place to buy gifts or even a treat for yourself. In comparison to the location on McCullough, it is maybe half the size but I read that it has 95% different merchandise so you must visit both. Thanks for the party tonight with the free drinks and popcorn!

My girl friends and I stopped in here- it was so hard not to buy everything! A great shop with cute gifts and trinkets, especially for millenial/gen Z women. So many modern/internet references that might not make sense for older shoppers. If you're in the area, you have to check it out!!

Fantastic selection! I went during Christmas time and they had tons of unique ornaments (think Selena, sugar skulls, Frida Kahlo, etc).

I was present when the purple-haired employee at the front door used some offensive words while, at the same time, letting us into the store breaking the COVID capacity limits. What made the situation worse was my friend calling her out on what she said and the employee showing lack of remorse for her words. Even if she hadn't meant to offend anyone, when we told her she did indeed offend someone, all she said was "awwwww." What does this tell you? This has been handled unprofessionally, and is absolutely disgusting. I never got a chance to actually look around the store because we turned around and walked out after the reality of her words set in. It honestly looked really cool.

I love this spot! It is located at the Pearl and definitely one of my favorite spots around town. Its small, charming, and has all of the novelty gifts you could POSSIBLY think of. If i haven't set up a timer for myself, I could be spending all afternoon just pouring over the goodies (greeting cards, pins, puzzles, decor you name it). There are two stores in pretty close proximity to each other, so if there's anything that you see on the website that is not available in this (smaller) store, feel free to check out the Feliz Modern! I found all of these really cool souvenir gifts for my family and friends. What was super cool is that Stephanie was super helpful and called the Feliz Modern store just to check for specific items that I had eyed but they did not have in stock here. As far as COVID-19 response goes - they actually have a "sign up" option on their website to limit number of occupants in the store at any one time. When I came by on a weekday, it was not crowded at all - but this is a nice touch. Definitely check this place out! Cheers!

Such a fun little shop with gifts for nearly anyone. After walking throughthe door ahead to the right and be sure to snap a photo of yourself at their photo booth which you can email to yourself. There are so many cute cards they had, bandanas for dogs, ponchos for dogs, locally made shirts and dresses for kiddos, pins and more. If you're a pickle fan be sure to check out their drink fridge where they have a pickle soda pop for purchase.

Love it here. They have cute little trinkets like stickers and stuff for your dog and Mexican dresses and coasters as well. I bought some stickers to put on my laptop and I've gotten some compliments where did you get those stickers.

Super cute store whose name perfectly describes it. I love color and found some great gifts for friends and myself. Most of what I found was made in the USA or Mexico and sustainable, too. Awesome shop!
