The Ultimate Guide to the Best Pizzas Around Atlanta

"At $3.25 a (massive) slice, one or two helpings here and a drink with friends makes for a great pizza spot. With several locations around town and late-night hours, Fellini’s has become an Atlanta staple for affordable and delicious pizza." - Eater Staff

Great local place for good pizza, sold by the slice if you wish — and the slices are generous, reasonably priced, and very good. The atmosphere is minimalist and pleasant, with an airy large interior room and also ample seating in a patio area outside. I'm glad my nephew introduced us to this place, which is a favorite of his and his children's. When I'm back in Atlanta again, I'll definitely return.

The pizza and Salad was good! My only complaint is that the pizza was not SUPER hot like I'm accustomed to at the Ponce location. The pizza was warm. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were friendly.🍕🍕🍕

Fellini’s Pizza is that spot. You know—the one every Atlantan recommends without hesitation. It’s got that hipster charm, the kind of glow from string lights and community vibes that makes you feel instantly at home. Whether you’re fresh out of class, on a lunch break, or just needing a slice of peace after a night out—Fellini’s always delivers. The pizza? Consistently delicious, cheesy in all the right ways, and blessed with crust that never tries too hard but still hits every time. I swear, whatever cheese they’re using should be illegal—because it’s addictive. (Not actual crack, y’all… just dangerously good.) And don’t sleep on the salads, either. Fresh, crisp, and actually worth ordering—especially if you get it with that signature creamy Italian dressing. It’s rich, tangy, and honestly a personality trait at this point. Affordable, fast, flavorful. Fellini’s isn’t just a pizza joint—it’s an Atlanta rite of passage. Slice of heaven? Absolutely!

The food is consistently good , Hot fresh and sometimes fast. No complaints other than the wait for a slice of pizza in the heat after calling a # & providing your CC info over the phone due to COVID. Still my favorite Fellini’s location plenty of outdoor seating for people watching and enjoying your slices. Update 2025; I love Fellinis. I still go often. I stopped in last night 8/9 & order my usual. Salad with a slice of the veggie, white sauce slice & a new slice the Sicilian cut. The consistency at Fellinis is what keeps me coming back. But the Sicilian slice needs some work- it was doughy on the inside , needed to be cooked a bit longer but still good. I’ll of course be back- PS this is my favorite location.

Google
Beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy a good slice of Sicilian Good dough, sauce is just right, and not too expensive especially for the area

Google
This restaurant and the atmosphere is great however i was extremely disappointed in the food. I ordered a white cheese slice and I understand that the slices aren’t gonna be as fresh as full pies but this pizza literally tasted like something you’d get served in school or from the grocery store. I would actually prefer frozen pizza over this. It smelt and tasted bad, the cheese and marinara was inedible. I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. $6 for a slice that I basically threw away, I had a similar experience a few years ago but I thought it was just a fluke. I would stay away from here there are a lot of better pizza places in the area.

Unfortunately I found what I believe to be rodent hair in my pizza today. I initially saw a strand that I assumed could’ve been maybe my hair until I saw the 2nd strand that was white, straight and very much resembled a rodent… Unfortunately, I’ll never return!

Isaac, My awesome husband, took me to Fellini’s Pizza in Atlanta, Ga to experience eating the best pizza ever(his words😊), and he was definitely telling the Truth! We enjoyed every bite!

Yelp
Food was great. The ambience was great with the outdoor seating for a fall date night in Atlanta.

Yelp
Fellini's Pizzeria is an absolute gem! The salads are amazing--fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor. The pizza, though, is the star of the show. It's the closest to NY style pizza I've found and definitely reminds me of home. The service at Fellini's is great, and the atmosphere is dope. I especially love sitting outside by the fountain; it's the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal. You must try the Sicilian pizza--it's to die for. The white pizza with red sauce is everything you could want in a pizza. And for those who love extra cheese, the extra cheese slice and pepperoni with ranch are must-haves. Fellini's Pizzeria is a slice of heaven!

Yelp
Me and my family have been eating Felinis for over 20 years. I have never been to this location, and I will never be back. It's clear the cooks have had no experience with pizza, nor do they have a true love for it. If so, I wouldn't be experiencing this soggy excuse for a pie. The chese blends are lacking, the sauce is not flavorful or evenly spread. I had to ask them to put my slices BACK in the oven, which the did, and it made the slices more palatable but that doesn't speak for much, as the slice was gummy and soggy to begin with. Eff this place. Glide pizza is much better anyway. I'd rather go to an entirely different shop than have to put up with this. Or, at the very least, the felinis in Ponce. Service was great tho.

Yelp
The pizza here is so horrible dare I say Costco is better. Look how doughy this pizza is , no pizza should be like this , we couldn't even eat it, It was so horrible.

Yelp
Great pizza. Closest thing to NY pizza in Atlanta. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Yelp
We had a pineapple and pepperoni pizza. Soooo cheesy and fresh. Very tasty. Service was fast Ambiance gave pizza place lol
google avatar

Shani H.

Yelp
Had a craving for a pizza slice so I stopped by this location. It has plenty of parking which was convenient since its on a busy road. I ordered a slice of white pizza and added pepperoni. I asked the baker to only place it in the oven for half the normal time. He let me see the slice before boxing it to make sure it was cooked to my liking. The slice was great. Really cheesy and helped sooth my pizza craving.

Yelp
I have been dying to try Fellini's for years and finally!! I ignored La Fonda Latina next door and made my entrance lol We came on a Monday evening around 7 or so and service was easy and quick! We ordered at the counter and everything came out to us in under 15 minutes. To start, we got the salad with the creamy Italian dressing! Classic salad at a pizza place and you can't go wrong not to mention it had a great mix of toppings. For our pizza, we built our own! We got green peppers and onions on the whole pizza and black olives on one half and sausage on the other half. The pizza was delicious! The crust was thin and crispy with the right amount of burnt and the it wasn't over complicated! Easy pizza that was delicious and great to eat. Definitely a great pizza place to go for casual vibes and get a good slice!

Yelp
This was my first time trying Fellini's! I didn't know they had a bunch of locations. I enjoyed this one in buckhead. It was mostly patio seating and you could easily order at the register! I got two Sicilian veggie slices! They were huge! Definitely had leftovers for the next day. It was relatively easy for me to put in my order and it sad ready within 10-15 minutes. This is definitely a family friendly restaurant that I would return to.

Yelp
I have been coming to this place for a few years now. The food is the same good quality pizza. The closest thing you get to a NY style slice
google avatar

Danielle W.

Yelp
Food was top notch. We ordered 2 calzones and a slice of hawaiian pizza. Everything was freshly made so it does take a minute to get it but it is totally worth it. We're here in ATL for 2 weeks and we will definitely be coming back again before we leave. 10/10 would recommend

Delina K.

Yelp
LOVEE the vegetarian slices and pepperoni slices! Filled with flavor and definitely a bang for your buck in size as well. Slices do take time to prepare (5-10 minutes sometimes) but still highly recommend. Music is good while waiting for slices or to vibe to while eating on the patio or inside.

Ya Ya M.

Yelp
They don't use quality ingredients and I doubt the cheese is real. Every time I order, I instantly regret.

Yelp
What is wrong with the Staff at this place?? They must have it out for the owner by ruining the business.!! Has turned into a Complete Sewer !! Went there for a late dinner with some friends. Horrible experience. The place was Filthy inside and out. The staff was rude and defended the dirty and vial conditions like they were on purpose. The music playing was absolutely disgusting. Dont go here with a date or children. Every other word of the songs was the F or N word. Horrible. The so called manager defended the music and said it was his pick. If I didnt like it I could get out......Classy....?...@.... Not to mention the mediocre pizza... Took forever to get it to the table even though not crowded. Heaven forbid you order a slice. They keep a premade pizza on the side that they pull slices off of all day and add your ordered toppings to and recook. Hard as a rock after the recooking... Used to come here at least once a week. Never Again!! This place has completely crashed and burned over the past couple years.

Yelp
Fellini's is always hot, fresh pizza made to order. My fiancé and I were looking for a quick bite to eat after our massages and decided to go to Fellini's for some slices of pizza. It was quick service and we were able to order right away. Our didn't take long at all to come out. I ordered two slices of white pizza with spinach and he ordered two slices of cheese pizza with spinach. Our slices were cut big and they were delicious. We actually ended up taking one slice home. Overall, great spot if you're looking for a quick bite to eat and only want a slice of pizza versus a whole pizza, they have options!

Yelp
Been here before about 4 months ago and it was amazing from the service to the food. Don't know what happened but honestly was a waste . Arrive about 10 took 30 mins to get a medium pie but EVERY person I watched walk in after came in and got their food before my wife and I did. I understand some may have been called in but I watched a couple who knew one of the guys and he ordered about 15 mins after we did and got his at the same time. Pizza fell apart and was greasy to the extend all I could taste was grease. I spent about 40 napkins cleaning off grease and didn't want to return it to get another one because this one took 30 minutes and my wife and I just wanted something quick. Won't be back . Will stick to the other locations.

Mark M.

Yelp
pizza ingredients were bad and cheap. Too much cheap cheese on top. ordered thin crust and was very soggy.
google avatar

Alicia S.

Yelp
Rude staff, bad policy on carry out orders. Decided to pickup pizza on my way home, called while stuck in traffic. A woman answered but then hung up once I said I wanted to order takeout. I called back several times to explain that I was driving and couldn't go online to order (it's literally illegal to be on your phone while driving) but I just got more hang ups. Ultimately I just got pizza elsewhere. Other Fellini's locations allow you to call in. As busy as this one is they can afford to have someone taking orders via phone. I'm not gonna walk-in and then wait 20+ mins when I can call a different pizza place and have the food ready when I arrive.

Kevin T.

Yelp
This is a walkable establishment for me and I love they have slices you can just order with out ordering the whole pie if you want. Plus service is good and you can't go wrong with the Sicilian.
google avatar

Brittney M.

Yelp
This is one of my go to spots for a quick lunch or a late snack. Their food is cooked fresh to order and taste so delicious. It's like a thin pizza with just the right amount of bread on it. They have other options other then pizza on the menu. You can also do a call in order before you get there. My slice of pizza was $4. They charge for all the toppings so the more you add the more your goal will go up. The menu ranges from $2-$20 just depending on what you order. There located on the corner of the street not hard to miss. Seating available inside and outside made for big groups. There is limited free parking located in the back of the building.
google avatar

Victor N.

Yelp
This has been an Atlanta staple for as far back as I can remember. I'm glad to see they still got it! Good food, fast service, and outside dining on a lovely afternoon. If you're a pizza snob like I am try this place!
google avatar

Christa F.

Yelp
We passed this location in the way to Buckhead Theater. Before we left the venue we asked ushers as attendants their opinions on the food and got mixed reviews, ultimately deciding to try it. Glad we did because it was great! One person said "the bread is too thick" but the crust was both crunchy and chewy if that makes sense. They didn't have too much sauce, just enough. Another standout was the green peppers. Some places put so many on that I end up picking some off. Didn't do that here. Another attendant told us that they gave an option for shaved meatballs which he loves. It's not our thing but try it if it's yours. It was more cost effective to get a whole pizza instead of a few slices each. The reheat the next day was just as good. A little pricey but overall great.

Yelp
If your business earns a 5 star during the Covid-19 shut down, then you must have done a lot right. and they did. I'd been wanting to do something with my mom, and she needed to make a grocery store run, so we decided to stop here when on the way back to her house. We saw they were open for curbside delivery, so I thought they had a walk-up ordering process. They don't. You have to call your order in, even if you are standing on the patio. Call the order in!!! It took me over 5 mins to get my order placed and people that had called their orders in, were walking right up to the door and having their pizza handed over to them There were a few other people besides me that hadn't place there order and since the restureant only has one phone line, its pretty much a race to be the one to get through on the phone. Once my order was placed, it was being handed to me out the door in about two pieces and for the first time in my 52 years of life, my mom and I ate pizza in the car. She's asked me to take her back to do so again at least twice in the two weeks since we did it. Of course the pizza was hot, fresh and delicious. The guy responsible for handing the pizza off to us, was friendly, upbeat and made me feel like he was happy to still be serving up pizza slices to the public. I'm a fan of the chain anyway, but their level of service during the shut down is just what you want in the times of taking the risk of going outside to the grocery store and ordering curbside food.

Yelp
A great little place with a nice patio to enjoy your pizza and warm weather. Friendly service , pizza is one of the best around Atlanta and there side salads are not only fresh but big enough to split between two people !

Patricia P.

Yelp
buckhead location management sucks dont buy slices they're bare no cheese... cheese-less pre bake ... all your toppings if you order any just fall off pizza .. s o r r y. pizza never going there again
google avatar

Arpita B.

Yelp
This review is for take out only. I have ordered a few times from this location & have never been disappointed by the quality of the pizza. I have tried a few variety but my favorite is the spinach and mushroom. The pizza is always hot and the service never takes too long. Overall: great option for good pizza when in the area
google avatar

William M.

Yelp
Hot, fresh pizza made to order. Offbeat combinations and specials throughout the week. Quick, friendly service with no frills
google avatar

Monica P.

Yelp
We just happened past this adorable, old school vibe pizza joint. We had the salad with creamy Italian dressing, and it was a meal in itself Filled with lots of veggies; garden tomatoes, green pepper, red onion, black AND green olives. Then along came our slice , which almost withstood the NYC gold I make on every slice I eat, just to ensure it stands stiff. It was close but the lower third sagged. Still a great lunch!! Outdoor seating was perfect
google avatar

Ben G.

Yelp
This location, doesn't allow you to place orders after 9 PM Monday-Thursday. The hours of operation are 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM, but for some odd reason this location closes early, and management has yet to do anything to address this issue.
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
Really good pizza. The restaurant is rather small and fills up quickly so takeout is a great option. This is pizza made to order - it is not a grab and go type of thing. It is great pizza, but you will wait for it. A large was about 30-40 minute wait in store - but hey that's the prize of fresh pizza! If you're in no hurry, this is a great option.
google avatar

Derek R.

Yelp
Still a classic. Was a fave as a kid growing-up in Atlanta in the '80s and '90s, and now that I'm back in-state after being gone during the '00s and '10s, Fellini's hasn't changed, and that's a good thing...because there are many other favorite pizza joints and restaurants from back in the day that have totally lost their way. The ONLY criticism--and unfortunately, it's an unpleasant reminder of the '80s and '90s--is that you can apparently still smoke on the patio. No matter where you sit, if somebody's smoking, you're gonna smell it, and it's just so unwelcome.
google avatar

Philis P.

Yelp
They have the BEST white pizza I have ever had, and I'm a Jersey girl!!! Their house salads are fantastic also!!!'
google avatar

Melissa J.

Yelp
I accidentally placed an order for this location system error clearly because I usually go to Howell mill location. The MANAGER IS a nasty white lady with and even nastier attitude , I called spoke with her in Oct 2021 and her response was "too bad" we need the money our complaint doesn't go by refunds (which I didn't want I just wanted to transfer order location) . I guess this location must be hard pressed for cash because I requested a transfer not even a refund and couldn't even get that I was billed for an order that I NEVER received totaling $65 ! I support Fellinis to the FULLEST and don't mind the cost for quality but I ended up incurring two charges because I went to the one on Howell mill and had to reorder $125 total spent at fellinis on a weekday ! FIRE FIRE FIRE ANYONE WHO does not put customer service first I own and operate a business and NEVER do I tell a customer NO !
google avatar

Yelp
Fellini's Pizza on Peachtree Road in Atlanta is a great place to go for delicious pizza, salads, drinks, and much more. I really like the variety of different pizzas that they have available here. Everything is very well prepared and I have been happy with all of the orders that I have made from here.
google avatar

Yelp
So delicious! Impressed by the Yelp reviews and excited to hit a local spot during our vacation, my family came to Fellini's for dinner on a Sunday night. The parking lot is small but we nabbed an empty spot. You can also grab parking along the neighborhood streets. The crowd was hopping when we arrived. The patio was completely full - lots of big groups but some tables were also available inside. The servers were in constant motion and I laughed every time they had to yell out they were "coming through". Nothing personal, just a small space and only 2 of them were taking care of the crowd plus bussing tables. We were boring and got a large cheese pizza (kids choice!). But, I added a slice of Hawaiian pizza and my husband got a house salad too. It took about 20 minutes for it to arrive at the table. At first I thought we wouldn't be able to finish everything but after the first bite, we started fighting over each slice. Now I'm wishing Louisville had a Fellini's! The crust was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The sauce isn't too heavy or spicy. Highly recommend getting extra cheese for a topping - my slice had it and it bumped up the taste. Tons of toppings too, on every pizza we watched getting delivered to tables. Buy pizza by the slice, or get a medium / large. Beer is available when you need something stronger than soda.

Yelp
This is the pizza I ordered 12/06/2021! My kids made a 40 minute round trip to pick it up. There was supposed to be NO ONIONS and NO GREEN PEPPERS! We all make mistakes, however when you call back and the manager says he watched the pizza being made and it was correct????? So either (A) I'm lying or (B) he needs his vision checked! Smart money is on B
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
When I'm Atlanta, this is a my top pizza stop. I haven't been to this location before but the food was consistently as good as the other Fellini's. There's seating indoor and a large outside patio. I'm taking a star off because parking was awkward and the music inside was very loud for a nearly empty dining area.
google avatar

Rashid C.

Yelp
This is the best pizza I have eaten in Atlanta. The service is quick, the restaurant is clean, and I look forward to returning.
google avatar

Mahia P.

Yelp
Good flavor but terrible pizza dough. It was so tough to eat. This has to be a joke.
google avatar

Asia E.

Yelp
Fellinis never disappoints! I got the spinach and mushroom slice and also the Fellinis special! I love this place because of their fresh ingredients, definitely one of the best pizza places in Ga. this location has a big outside patio with a nice views!

Taylor W.

Yelp
READ!!! So I've been going to this place since I've moved to Atlanta. HOWEVER I found this poster on the outside of the wall to be extremely offensive. This place is not inclusive. If you are going to mock one faith, make poster and mock them all or don't do it at all. In addition to this, the pizza quality has gone down. Cheese to sauce ratio isn't good.
google avatar

Max B.

Yelp
The pizza is amazing, and I definitely recommend this place for pizza lovers. The staff are extremely friendly and talk the the costumers. I would suggest sitting inside rather than inside because the inside is cold. This restaurant overall is amazing and tastes really good.
google avatar

Roz R.

Yelp
Love the single slices for anytime of the day and it's super fresh and filling. They have a spread out patio.
google avatar

Kierra R.

Yelp
This is a perfect late night spot for New York Style pizza. I personally enjoyed the pizza and will be back. I personally think this is a casual restaurant to brings friends and drink beer. My service excellent and the restroom was clean. I definitely think this is one of the best Fellini's.
google avatar

Arionna M.

Yelp
Fellini's literally has a special place in my heart. I LIVEEE for authentic Italian pizza, and they always deliver everytime I order a couple slices! The Parmesan cheese takes the pizza to a whole other level that you've GOTTA try. I had to stop myself because at one point I would come here atleast 1-2 times per week. Talk about obsessed!
google avatar

Lana S.

Yelp
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! As an Atlanta native this has always been the best location, visited today Jan 22, 2023 and literally it's only toppings in the middle and not even enough.. usually the Felini special slice is loaded with toppings.. they tried me today REFUND ME ASAP! Won't be back again, raise the prices and take the quality out the product? It's a no for me.
google avatar

Randi K.

Yelp
This Fellini's off 75 was quick, fast and satisfying. This review will be quick, fast and Informative. What a great day in the A. Him: meatball and bananas peppers type of pizza guy Me: spinach and mushrooms with extra garlic. Yet my breath remained refreshing. It's a cool in and out kinda place where the pizza is pretty good. Try it. The crowd is typically for a sunny Saturday afternoon.
google avatar

Uma P.

Yelp
Service and ambiance are nice but pizza is average. I know lots of people love this place. They have a wide variety of pizza types and toppings. They also have a salad, beer and a couple of wine choices. They have a fountain outside when it's nice It's great to sit outside, there's lights around that area that make it pretty. They have more seating outside and inside and there's street parking but also parking in the back. The prices are decent as well. The pizza is ok, it's not great, it gets a little soggy (especially in the center) and I don't like that. Overall, the service is excellent and everyone's really nice here but this is not my top choice for pizza in Atlanta. That being said, it's not bad pizza but I like it crispier thicker pizza though overall. Some people like it, I personally thinks there's better pizza in Atlanta.
google avatar

Stacie J.

Yelp
Every since I have been coming to Atlanta back in the 90's gawd I am dating myself- I have been ordering Fellini's Pizza to get my eat on. At that point they didn't have too many locations, now I see that there are several locations. I prefer going to the one in Buckhead and ordering the Special with jalapeños and pineapple. That shit be on Fleek.
