* update*. Still not as good as it could be, sometimes the staff is inattentive to any customizations, and you still can make changes on the website to order so you MUST go in, Quality and portion size fluctuates wildly.
This used to be my go-to pizza place but I'm rethinking my patronage because the food quantity as well as quality has gone way down and they don't let you call in an order anymore.
Yes, you can order online but there's no way to ask for anything to be customized - more on that later, let's deal with the quantity/quality issue now.
It's gone really down hill. I ordered a salad and not only did they screw up the order, I got considerably less salad than ever before - part of what I got was something that I would never even consider serving at home let alone sending it out with a paying customer - days old lettuce. The romaine was not fresh and had apparently gotten "brown" in places but that doesn't happen with fresh lettuce, only with days old lettuce (see pictures.) There wasn't a speck of iceberg in my "romaine and iceberg mixed" salad either.
Now, on to quantity - you used to be able to count on getting large slices of pizza from Fellini's... No more, apparently. I ordered two slices and they both fit into a small size pizza box... What a disappointment (see pictures.)
Now, on to being forced to order via online ordering. I don't blame any restaurant for trying to streamline their business, but when it's done in a half a**ed way, it's frustrating and not customer friendly. For example, they put gobs of cheese on the salads, some people like it that way, I do not. So, when I called in my orders I was able to ask for the cheese on the side (they give it to you in a dressing container) and that way I can control how much, if any, cheese I want on my salad. Sadly, that's not an option that's available on their website. You will take it as they serve it and like it (!)- I guess.
Well, I don't like it and if I want things done to my liking (or if I had allergies) then I have to go there and order it in person and then waste my time waiting for it instead of being able to order from the convenience of my home and then going to pick it up. It is, frankly, not worth the aggravation especially in light of the quantity/quality issues.
