Google
The best bubble tea in the world, trust me, after this one I tried to find a better drink in some other countries and this one is the best BY FAR. Also, the staff is really nice and kind, totally recommend this location specifically.

Shen Zhang

Google
The best milk tea I have ever had in Austin. I always go to the Feng Cha in Houston. I am so happy that they have one in Austin. Creme brûlée Dirty boba is my favorite.

Yesterday, I was really looking forward to my favorite Kiwi Basil drink, which I’ve enjoyed at various Feng Cha locations. Unfortunately, this location was a huge disappointment. The drink tasted like they used very old kiwis, and the tea base had an odd bitterness. The combination left me feeling nauseous. I thought maybe it was due to the off-season for kiwi, so I asked to change my drink to the dragonfruit one. However, the lady misunderstood and made me a grapefruit drink instead, which also tasted terrible. It seemed like the tea base was the main issue. When I tried to explain this to the staff, she poured me a cup of the tea base, and it was overly brewed and bitter—far from the usual flavor of jasmine or green tea. I’m really disappointed, and I suspect there may be some preparation or training inconsistencies at this location compared to others. I hope you’ll work on improving both the quality of your drinks and staff training.

Wonderfully friendly and prompt serve. Really kind and patient, willing to answer questions❣️ Open 11am to 9pm located right next to a parking garage close to the PBS building and ACC campus (old Hilghland Mall) Not far from 290 and I-35. Drinks have 4 levels of sweetness. ('Regular' sweetness was too much, says my 13y/o, for the Thai tea) There is an option for ice levels as well. I imagine there is a science to each drink. We haven't quite figured it out. (One of our drinks had a chemical taste) Desserts are very savory with mild sweetness. Very light and delicious. A treat well worth the purchase. Just enough of a morsel to still share.

This is my boyfriend and I’s new favorite boba place. We’ve already been 3 times in the past week. My personal favorite is the milk foam tea, cold, jasmine green tea 50% sweet with cheese foam and lychee. Once you get to the half way point and mix the cheese foam in, it’s like drinking a second drink! 100% recommend coming here and checking it out.

Google
This the second, larger, newer, and louder Feng Cha location in Austin, and so far, almost good as the first. Unlike the other location, they have some staffing issues, so expect to wait a while for your order until they get that resolved. Like the other location, I usually just get my favorite, the Dirty Boba, with 'Regular Sweet' since I can't imagine it would taste good with any less sugar. The Matcha Love cake was not as carefully prepared as at the other location, it still tasted good, but the consistency of the matcha cream poured over the cake was a little on the thin side, and there wasn't as much of it. They need to work on this...

Google
Great atmosphere with friendly staff. A perfect spot for a casual hangout/date and/or getting in a good study session. Beyond satisfied with my drink (Classic Milk Tea), and by far the best I’ve had in a long time in terms of the quality in taste and a perfectly balanced flavor. Will definitely come back again for more. Highly recommended for those who enjoy an Boba Tea!

Looks like they use lots of natural fruits here and would come back to try more menu options. Very spacious and clean area.

Yelp
A great spot to get fresh teas and good drinks. My first time here was today and I was thoroughly impressed by the strong tea flavor and good boba texture. I got the grapefruit green tea and it was one of the better versions of this drink that I've had. My only complaint is I wish I got more boba but that's just a minor inconvenience. The tea flavor was strong and for me that's enough to rate this place highly.

Yelp
I go to school at the ACC that this Feng Cha is located by. I love that after class I can walk over and get a drink and get some studying done. I got the Thai tea with regular boba and it was okay! I opted for the less sweet (25% sugar) and it mostly tasted like milk. I've been to other places where I get the 25% sugar and the Thai tea is still prevalent over the milk which I love so I was a little disappointed on the drink. The area seemed very spacious with a lot of seating. I was here on a Friday so it wasn't too busy. Overall a good experience, mostly because I can walk over after class, I've also had other drinks that were good this was my first time trying the Thai tea so I know they have good options!

Yelp
Cute ACC campus location w/ ample seating & located just next door to a Vietnamese Pho restaurant! I haven't had time to stop for pho yet, but I plan to soon since this location is very close to my office! There's limited street parking but a parking garage just behind it has free retail spots that make for an easy walk to your drinks! The staff are friendly & will explain drinks & options to you. NOTE: the cheese foam is not chees-y, it's more like a sweet cream, and it's my absolute fave to top my taro breeze! You can add milk foam(s) and other accoutrement of choice here to make your customized drink to perfection-- and I will be back again!

Yelp
A disappointing experience after I've come to many locations of Feng Cha. Drink: My Feng Cha go tos options are Mango Breeze and Matcha Latte. HOWEVER, was super disappointed due to the inconsistency from my most recent visit. Mango Breeze: The slush part was as good as usual. The foam on the other hand tasted completely strange. It was salty and tasted as if it was made from laughing cow cheese (?). It was not bad but it was not I expected from Feng Cha. Matcha Latte: it was simple bland. From the color to the taste, it was not the norm. When we asked the staff about it, they gave plenty of reasons for the different taste (saying it was always like that; maybe because we ordered no ice), which based on our multiple visits to Feng Cha were false. We then asked them to remake the drink and they added the matcha mix to the bland drink. It didn't fix anything, so it could be that their mix itself was too diluted. Location: Very convenient if you go to ACC. It's connected to a Vietnamese restaurant, so the food smell does come through at times.

Yelp
OMBoba!!! The crème brûlée dirty boba is the bees knees. Each sip is a special experience. It's the most amazing liquid to ever hit my lips and mouth.

Stephanie W.

Yelp
I've only ever had take out orders from here but never had a bad boba experience. Can't comment on service or ambiance because of that but they have a solid menu and everything I've tried I have really liked! I had the matcha breeze today with sea salt foam and boba, light sweetness and less ice and it was STUNNING. Always a good experience with Feng cha; it's up there with my other favorites!!

Pree R.

Yelp
I rarely ever have bubble tea cravings, but when I do, they hit HARD! After going out to a Yelp Elite event with my sister, I was craving something cold and icy...not ice cream, not a smoothie...but bubble tea? Austin has a ton of bubble tea places to check out for the true aficionado, but my sister took me to Feng Cha since she has had great drinks from there in the past. I got the Purple Reign, and it ended up being a great choice. It's part of their "breeze" selection of drinks, which apparently are "part slushie", but I couldn't really notice. It's made with yogurt, black grapes, and milk, and I had to add boba to it. The boba sunk to the bottom but it was overall a refreshing and delicious blend of ingredients to make an awesome boba tea!

Jan T.

Yelp
The other Feng Cha on Burnet is better. First, the pearls have no chew and do not taste fresh. They are not using milk in their teas. It tastes like it is all heavy cream. The strawberry overlord is okay but tends to be on the too sweet side even at 0 percent sugar.

Lauren A.

Yelp
I got the regular milk tea and ordered ahead on SnackPass - they have discounts on there if you're a regular. Service was really fast and the decor is cute - would be a good place for studying. The milk tea was very good, but I wish the boba was a little sweeter (could have been my problem since I ordered half sweet, but I still expected the boba to be sweet). The size is larger than other bubble tea places. I want to go back to try the dirty boba.

Novalina N.

Yelp
Delicious dirty boba and it was made very quickly. There's an older review that they worked slowly, seems like it's improved big time! I love that the lid has 2 openings, one is for drinking just the liquid and the other one is for sucking the pearl itself. Oh boy, my language! The foamy top is super delicious and I'm able to enjoy it more thoroughly when I didn't drink it with the pearl. Wish this place is closer to me!

Stephanie P.

Yelp
I've written a prior review that the boba are never sweetened. Now when I order delivery there is no straw it's nearly impossible to drink boba without a straw.

Charli V.

Yelp
Yum! Cravings and thirst are intense these days. Needed some perfect, 'no room for error' milk tea so I drove 15 miles to feng cha lol This location is clean, spacious, and welcoming. There was street parking right in the front on store and easy to find. Spent $5 on my oolong milk tea and it was made with the perfection I was seeking. They were quick, efficient, and kind. I didn't know they had little cakes so I'll have to come back again soon!

Jackie X.

Yelp
I got the large mango au lait with light ice, regular sweetness, lychee jelly and grass jelly. Over all it was pretty cheap! It was way sweeter than I thought it was gonna be and not super creamy but still milky. The mango flavor was strong and the lychee jelly is great! The grass jelly was interesting, kinda slimy and big pieces. I would go again!

Yelp
After opening for about a year or so, this place has gone downhill. My go-to drink at Feng Cha is matcha latte with cheese foam. This drink at other Feng Cha locations (Lakeway and Round Rock) is consistently strong, earthy, and delicious. However, the matcha latte here is low quality. The color is very light. The taste is super bland with barely any matcha taste. I'm not here to pay almost $7 for a cup of Lactaid milk. The cheese foam at this location shocks me! It's not smooth with a nice balance of sweet and salty from cream cheese like other locations, but it tastes like they run out of the cheese foam ingredients so they decide to mix condensed milk and laughing cow cheese together. Every sip with some cheese foam is a shock because of how weird it tastes. I brought my drink to the staff and asked them if they have changed their recipe for matcha latte and they said no. I told them that this matcha latte is so bland and doesn't taste like matcha at all. They gave me all sorts of excuses, like it's like that, it may be because the ice has melted, it may be because it's lacking sweetness (no, I got regular sweet every time). They didn't offer to make me a new one. I asked if they could make it stronger and they agreed to do so by adding more matcha mix to my cup. I could see that their matcha mix is extremely diluted - probably doing this so they can sell more without using a lot of matcha. After adding a healthy amount of extra matcha mix, the drink still didn't taste any better. I just accepted it that it couldn't get any better, and knew that I will not come back to this location. This Feng Cha and The Pho next door have the same owner. Two places are connected by a hallway. In the afternoon, the tea shop smells a bit off with lots of strong food smell

Paige M.

Yelp
First time here and I ordered the Summer Melon with Lychee Jelly. At only 25% sweet, I was expecting the drink part to be a lot less sweet but it still tasted great. It also had salty notes that I don't mind and was very refreshing. Staff was nice and the space was open, clean and modern. I may return soon to work during the day to get out of the office a bit. I also appreciated the retail parking right next door. I do wish they had a dedicated public bathroom. There is one in the breezeway, but it was barely functional.

Gina D.

Yelp
I love this place! Dirty boba is delicious. Thai tea also one of my favorites. Convenient free parking garage right next to the business.

Charlynne A.

Yelp
I love, love, love this Feng Cha location! I didn't realize it was located in a college campus, but it definitely has nice curb appeal. The inside of the store is super spacious and clean. They have a menu that is straight to the point, lots of flavors to choose from and the best part is that you can adjust the ice and sweetness level. You can also add in boba, extra toppings, or a soft top which can be cheese cream or a milk top. The service is fast and friendly. Seating area is nice as well, people seem to like to come here to study or hangout. Overall, amazing experience and their boba here is super fresh and chewy! Come support this boba shop!

Kayla W.

Yelp
super rude vietnamese ladies running the front. drink was terrible and all they said was sorry, can't do anything about it

Andrew P.

Yelp
The strawberry drink is great! It's not too sweet though. I usually like sweeter but I thought it was good still. The milk tea is just okay. Nothing really special, but I haven't tried other milk tea flavors to be fair. Great and friendly service. Amazing vibe inside. This place is so spacious you could probably Airbnb it lol beautiful contemporary decoration.

Sarah V.

Yelp
I enjoyed my iced matcha latte from Feng Cha in Highland. There was limited street parking in front & it's located in an area with newer construction. We arrived around midday and it was not very busy, so no wait. The service was very quick (about 2min) after I ordered. The ambiance was very chill and family friendly! The matcha latte tasted well, but I think the quality of the matcha was not what I was looking for. The cup was very sturdy and you get a lot of drink for the price!

Irene S.

Yelp
Super cute little tea shop on the Highland campus, great vibes for studying or catching up with friends! My husband and I usually come for the drinks, but I can't believe I never tried their desserts until today! We got a salt pearl cake. It's a little sponge cake with cheese foam and QQ boba pearls on top! The cake itself isn't super sweet, but the cheese foam adds a fun flavor and texture. Would definitely try their other desserts too~

J O.

Yelp
Great flavors to choose from with a good variety of options and the menu is not overwhelming.

Tiffini D.

Yelp
Delish! I couldn't decide so I asked an employee and he didn't steer me wrong! I forgot the name but it's the dragonfruit one. It tasted just as good as it looked. Not too sweet and full of fresh fruit. The space is super clean and on the ACC campus so it's the perfect spot for students. I'm sure it probably gets super packed on school days but I'd definitely go back on a weekend.

Ashley T.

Yelp
First time at a feng cha. I ordered an osmanthus oolong tea half sweet less ice with cheese foam. I've had cheese foam at other boba places and it's typically creamy and smooth, but my cheese foam was really clumpy for some reason and I did not enjoy that texture. Prices are great and the interior is bright and looks ideal for studying.

Samantha L.

Yelp
First time coming to a feng cha location outside of the bay. Wasn't disappointed! Really liked their interior which was modern with high ceilings and large open tables. Would love to study/ do work here when I get the chance but most tables don't have outlets so keep that in mind. Because it's a new location, there wasn't much traffic the day we went however, it's right on the ACC campus so I'm sure it'll get very busy later on. Service was super fast for our two drinks and prices are fair which is also a plus. I always order the jasmine tea with sea salt milk foam, less sugar less ice. However, I wasn't quite feeling my drink that day, I feel like it usually tastes better/different when I've ordered it at the location I usually go to. Come quickly to check out the new location before it gets busy!!

Capital B.

Yelp
Great drinks and great place to visit . Good service and the place is ambiance. Definitely be back

Jenny N.

Yelp
Clean and cute and right across from Highlands ACC (yay! They finally have food around that campus). That's about the only thing they have going for them. Extremely slow. We ordered online and it took us 40+ minutes past the time they said it would be ready to get our 2 drinks. There was only one group there... They're definitely still getting their act together as it took both people working to take one order so I can see why it took so long. She also didn't call out my order..she just stared at me and left the pick up counter and I had to figure out which one is mine. Tip: go to the other feng cha. It's only 10 mins away and much faster. Wish them the best and hope my next experience isn't as awful.

Skyler B.

Yelp
Feng Cha is currently my favorite boba shop in Austin! Their tapioca is perfectly chewy and deliciously flavored. We almost always get the dirty boba, white is a brown sugar milk tea, and it is sweet and DELICIOUS! One of my favorite treats to get! They also ask what sweetness level and ice level you want, so you can customize to you liking.

Yasin A.

Yelp
Good Boba at an amazing price. Great, fast and polite service, nice ambiance in the shop and cool packaging. What more can you ask for?

Edwyn A.

Yelp
This recently opened Feng Cha is closer to me than the one in Allandale. Parking is relatively easy as there is some street parking or you can park in the parking garage behind. Drinks are standard. My favorites are the Ireo Cheese Milk Boba or the Dirty Creme Brule. I'm definitely a fan of the cheese milk foam; it's more like frothy whip cream with a light cheese taste if you haven't tried cheese milk foam before. I came here on a weekend afternoon and they were kind of slammed so you will probably have to wait sometime for your drink. They put the tea high up on shelves which to me kind of slows down the process of making drinks; I hope they've rectified this by now. It's also confusing when your order is complete as they identify the orders by the drinks ordered instead of using your name. So a point off for that.

Eugenia L.

Yelp
Prefer this location to the other one. As my drinks have always been made correctly and the milk teas aren't overly sweet. Also like the wide open space and ample seating to hang out as well.

Kirsten K.

Yelp
I had no idea that this whole new ACC development existed! I can't wait to see what else pops up there, but this Feng Cha is an awesome start. Nice, clean decor, fast service. I had the dirty boba, which was absolutely delicious. It's the first time I've enjoyed a black sugar milk drink that didn't have a milk tea base, and the milk foam was seriously awesome. My friend got the regular milk tea with the cheese foam, and liked the tea but wasn't as much of a fan of the foam--it does have a stronger dairy taste to it. I thought it was good, but I'd still recommend the sea salt milk foam over the cheese foam. Looking forward to trying the taro milk foam too! I haven't seen that anywhere else. My only wish is that they had popping boba, but I have so many other things on my "try next" list, so I guess I'll be back soon!

Vicky N.

Yelp
Drinks are good, and decor is cute. Good location, but the shared bathroom with the restaurant next door could use some improvement...

Tu L.

Yelp
Really good spot to come and study at. Very quiet but can get busy during peak hour. Super clean for sure

Tony B.

Yelp
Very nice sittings, great place for hanging out for the youngs. Locate in a very nice area, parking can be tough at front. Boba tea is boba tea, if you have great customer service, that's all matter.

D T.

Yelp
Bought 3 boba milk teas there yesterday. It is the worst in Austin, absolutely undrinkable. Please go somewhere else. Tea does not taste like tea, milk is artificial, boba tasted like they have been in the refrigerator for days. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else.

Erica T.

Yelp
Very disrespecting staff. As a trans woman, every time I come in they gather behind the counter and do the whole point and laugh while speaking in mandarin. Childish.

Sierra J.

Yelp
Amazing dirty boba and great customer service. The drink has caramel instead of coffee, so it is caffeine-free by default. Parking is a pain (must parallel park or use a nearby parking garage), but the drink was absolutely worth it!

Thanh T.

Yelp
awsome environment, good boba milk tea, reasonable price. First time trying this place. Really like it.

Han L.

Yelp
I paid almost 8$ for a drink that tasted like water. Don't waste your money. Not recommended

Linh N.

Yelp
This Fengcha location is really bad. The taste is not always the same everytime i came. i gave them few chances but now i give up this location. Not the Fengcha taste i want to drink.

Joana M.

Yelp
The first time I tried Feng Cha was actually in California (shout-out to the Costa Mesa location #qualitea!) and when I moved to Austin, I felt like they were not the same high standards. I first went to the one on Anderson and that was okay. Then I went to this location in Highland, right next to ACC, and noticed how unclean the whole space was. :/ The floors were dirty (w/ footstep marks and stuff) and the seat cushions were in desperate need of a wash/lowkey some bleach lol. The decor is really cute and there was a good amount of student traffic, so I knew this strategic location in Central Austin had a lot of potential. So, I was glad that they temporarily closed down due to a water leakage and then had their recent re-opening about 2 weeks ago. The place was a lot more clean (I think they could still work on it a tad more) and the staff's service remained consistently friendly. On to the drinks though LOL. I usually get the Strawberry Overload, a super refreshing drink, but today I got their Kiwi Basil Green Tea w/ boba and it was so goooood. I really like that the actual pearls were nice and chewy and I tasted the hint of sweetness in them. 3.75 stars for me.

Rajeev K.

Yelp
Boba Teas are very good. The restaurant itself is extremely dirty. Yuck. Would be nice to clean once in a while - apparently they don't get checked for cleanliness. Floors were sticky to walk on. Also, definitely don't use the restroom here.

Claudia B.

Yelp
Edit: I ordered again from this location through Uber Eats (mistakenly thought it was the Anderson location), and they got all 3 items in my order wrong PLUS there was a hair in one of my drinks. I was SO disappointed with my experience here! I go to the other Feng Cha location all the time and it's always great, but I decided to try this location when I was in the area. I ordered online and arrived a minute or two after my order was supposed to be ready and it hadn't even been started yet, despite only one other person being there. The person working had to check the instructions for how to make both of my drinks, and it still took her another 10+ min to make my drinks once I got there. The dirty boba was fine (although not as good as it usually is at the other location), but my other drink, the Chrysanthemum ginger tea, was TERRIBLE and she forgot to add boba to both of my drinks. I'm usually a big fan of gingery drinks, but there were HUGE clumps of raw ginger floating in my tea, so some sips had an aggressively strong ginger flavor that made the tea awful to drink. The prices were also higher than the other location, and definitely too high for the drinks, especially given that they weren't even made right. Don't bother with this location - take 5 minutes to drive to the other location instead!

Adriana A.

Yelp
clean place and quick service, nice vibe good for studying. my personal fav is the Thai tea with boba!

Kaylee J.

Yelp
It took very little time to get ready and very good boba. I would highly recommend this place it's a very calm and modern building to eat, study, etc.

Sammy V.

Yelp
The drink quality is nonexistent and inconsistent pretty much depending on who making your milk tea that day. The wait is so long when we went on a week day. Moreover, the guy who took the orders messed up and he gave the person who came after us her drinks before he made ours. No one should have to wait more than 30 minutes for a drink! On a week day! I don't care for the desserts, please don't be fooled by their fancy names. Don't order any coffee drink from them and just try another place for your boba. The only reason why I give them 2 stars is because of the location and the interior design.

Sam S.

Yelp
Need customer service training. Frequent customer during lunch time and have never gotten bad service until I went on a Friday night. Decided to switch my usual order of mango breeze for a strawberry breeze thinking it would be good. Girl working that night was not friendly at all. Took a sip and it did not meet my expectations like the mango breeze did. My husband went in with my full drink trying to see if they could replace it and guy working was nice until lady who made our drink showed up and was talking to him and then the guy got hostile with my husband and said they could not remake it.
