Who Is Paying $1,000 to Dine Outside in a Plastic Dome? | Eater

"One of two neighborhood restaurants that adopted a fleet of patio domes to keep outdoor space active through Michigan winters; the domes reinvigorated otherwise dormant patios and proved popular with customers, though early operational issues—like zippers failing in extreme cold—required iterative fixes." - Brenna Houck

Google
Really cool building- vintage and fire house themed. Open concept with plenty of seating. 2 igloos outside for outside dining as well as an upper level and basement. The menu has a variety of items ranging from BBQ pulled chicken and brisket to pizza and burgers. They also have a pretty big mixed drink menu and several beers to choose from. Service was good, our server was very attentive to our needs. I ordered the pulled chicken nachos. It wasn’t my favorite, the chicken was fatty, slimy, and chunky. I prefer to have my chicken more shredded than pulled, so my bad for not clarifying before I ordered. Taste was good for the most part. There were several people in our party and all the food looked amazing! Presentation 10/10. Our table ordered a variety of items including burgers, meatloaf, and salads.

After 3 brain surgeries, I was ready to ditch the hospital food and have something DELICIOUS. The Fenton fire hall did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection. The service was unlike most places, very attentive and kept our drinks filled while we waited.

Google
Loved everything about this place. Great atmosphere, food and location downtown. Came here for a late lunch to check out the Christmas decor & music downstairs. There are quite a few holiday specials & drinks served in Christmas theme glasses. The cherry pork salad and the lights out drink served in an ornament shape glass were both delicious. My husband enjoyed the Korean pork tacos. Highly recommend eating here.

Google
This was my first visit to Fire Hall and it was a pleasurable experience. In my opinion, it is always a positive when a restaurant has a wait. With the estimated 30 minutes we were given, we headed downstairs to Leroy’s Lounge to grab a beer while we waited. After being notified that our table was ready, we headed back upstairs and were seated in a comfy booth. Celia was our server and she was fantastic. She recommended a few dishes and gave us a couple of minutes to look over the menu. Our food came out in a timely manner and was fantastic. My guest and I both ordered tacos; she had the Korean pork and I, the pork belly. Really liked the cheese sauce they served with the side of chips. Just had a great flavor good consistency and wasn’t something from GFS or Sysco that came in a #10 can. The tacos had a good tortilla and held the tacos filling well even though they were both stuffed modesty with meat(pork belly was moist and tender) ! I would say the Korean pork tacos may have had a little bit too much slaw, but it was so delicious you just scrapped it off and ate it on the side if you so desired, I suppose more is better than the alternative being not enough. The drink menu had plenty of options for those looking for an alcoholic beverage. Expansive draft beer list with lots of Michigan breweries on tap. I really enjoyed my dinner and look forward to returning in the summer to check out the rooftop for a beer. Definitely would recommend the FFH if looking for a nice, not too fancy, meal while in Fenton.

Google
Drove a half hour with wife. Although the building and interior was cleaver unique, the whole experience including the food was NOT memorable. Ribs were dry/smoked bit too long. Mashed potatoes & beans excellent. Beer selection good, drafts not cold enough. Fennel seed artichoke dip a preferred taste. Tables are close and loud. Not a place for an romantic date. Great for families. Get your pizza guys to wear real fireman’s hats, sound a siren and announce a special “FIVE ALARM” pizza as it comes out to a table. Give the kids a chance to wear a real fire jacket and hold a firehouse for a photo opportunity. Not cheezy. Just fun and memorable so people want to come back. Without making this place more memorable, this place is just another good restaurant (among many in town) and nothing more

Google
Family get together and enjoyed very much. Our server was great, super helpful and she always had a big smile. Service was a little slow but we were a big party and we weren’t in a hurry anyhow. Enjoyed the fire house theme and memorabilia through out. The food was good but a 50/50 of our group of 12 that felt their meal was good to average but no one said it was bad. Lacking that grate flavor I had hoped for. We will return again and look forward good flavors.

Google
Loved everything about this place, the atmosphere, service, and food. Next time, we hope to be able to sit outside. The interior space does not disappoint with the authentic old fire house vibe and while we were there during the day, I imagine looks even better at night. Such a great use of the space. We had the fried pick app, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the Meatloaf Sandwich - all delicious! Looking forward to going back!

Google
Service was incredible. Had a very knowledgeable server named Grant. Would definitely return just for his vibe. The food was served within a reasonable time considering how many tables were seated. The food itself was ok. We ordered the back ribs with baked beans and mashed potatoes. The temperature of the sides was just warm. The potatoes were very good. The corn muffin was just ok. The sauces were available on the table. The Tennessee was my favorite. Also had the Macaroni and cheese. The noodles were penne which I actually prefer. The cheese crusty top was divine. The actual pasta and cheese sauce left a little to be desired. Needed just an uplift to the flavors to really bring it all together. Brownie Pot Pie was rich and decadent in all the best ways. Drinks from the bar were wonderful. I will surely return to try more menu items The atmosphere was very cool. I went to the lower level for this visit and will be sure to experience the other levels on the return.

Yelp
Owned by the same group that runs Vinsetta Garage, Clarkston Union, Union Woodshop, etc., I think it's fair to say if you enjoy their other locations you'll enjoy this one. There isn't huge leap from those menus to this, but what I do appreciate about this location is just how beautiful it is. I have recently started appreciating Fenton a lot more, and this location consistently comes up as a bright spot. If you get out of work early enough, the happy menu is pretty solid. Their two house beers and several items are $5 each and they have other items also. Predominantly a BBQ joint, their meats are very good and of course the mac and cheese is amazing. I've only been here during non-busy hours so I can't speak to a busy night, but the service has always been spot on and wonderful. Always friendly, and always attentive. I think this is a great spot for a night out of BBQ as long as you don't expect BBQ like you'd find in Austin, TX. Definitely give it a go.

Yelp
Ambiance. Converted firehouse into restaurant and celebrates firefighters. Lots of light, vaulted ceilings, LOUD. Rooftop has limited menu, but scene is nice. Service. Fine; nothing of note. F&B. Tasty, but overpriced. Of note. Street parking. Loos clean and stocked. Captions say more. Overall, I would go if others go, but not too thrilled.

Yelp
Our group got seated in a little private corner that was so cute. That was the best part of the experience for sure. The food was decent, but they did have quite a variety of options. The service was very slow but they were busy. Our server was kind though.

Caitlin F.

Yelp
I love the food here. The fish tacos, Brussels salad and chop salad are my go tos. Really cool ambiance, especially with the rooftop in the summer. Services can be a little slow.

Yelp
An old fire hall turned restaurant, the decor and the feel of the place is SO cute. From the wall paper, to the old garage doors, they did such a good job on restoring it! The food was absolutely amazing. Their mac and cheese is a definite must. It's a baked Mac and cheese with a crispy layer on top.... Yum! I got it as a side and it was a good size portion. For an app we split one of their specials- bourbon soaked cherry flatbread. It was hands down the best flat bread I've ever had. Their menu wasn't huge, but everything looked so good that I'm gonna have to come back and try more! Especially during the summer since the patios look so cute to sit on when the weather is nice.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite place in Fenton right now. The atmosphere: I love the location, and how the place looks inside. It has a fun vibe to it, but plenty of seating for you to enjoy with 1 other person or even 7 other people. The food: the BBQ is stellar, especially being in Michigan. The fries are delicious! The Mac and cheese is what they're known for. The bread + the butter... definitely recommend The cost: I think for the size of the portion, the cost is reasonable and you get what you paid for. I've been back every month, and I will be back again in the near future!

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday. The place is super cute and has good vibes. The service was good. The food was overall decent. We tried the nachos, Hunter burger, and Korean BBQ tacos. They all were decent.
google avatar

Yelp
Don't order the burger!!! Cooked to temp and came almost an hour later. burnt to a crisp and hard as a hockey puck. I could kick myself for not sending it back. Will not be going back.

Yelp
Food is always good. Service has always been average with it recently turning towards poor. Our last visit especially turned us off completely. During a not very busy dinner time we asked to have a tv turned to a playoff game. The response was "I'll do my best". The best was nothing. We then asked the bartender. Still nothing. We asked the upstairs bartender who told us she'd get a manager to change it. Still nothing. Service comes from the small things. "I'll do my best" is dismissive at its best. I wish I could say this only about Fenton firehall but we noticed service decline at vinsetta garage too. Union joints has been our go to casual date spot and the place to take the kids. It probably won't be anymore. Expansion appears to be more important than service standards.

Yelp
Meat loaf sandwich was awesome , Potato salad also very good. Had an artichoke dip as an appetizer was good but way too big for one. The bar tender was great kept water full, beer going. It's like an old firehouse upstairs and downstairs great music playing.
google avatar

Alexandra R.

Yelp
Service was good but food wasn't the best. Fish and chips had a ton of extra soggy breading. The fries were overly salty. The Mac and cheese was not hot, almost tasted like it had been sitting for awhile. My son enjoyed the cheese pizza, but I wasn't too impressed.
google avatar

Jimmy N.

Yelp
The artichoke and fennel dip is amazing. The bread was extra crispy on the outside and nice and firm in the middle. I highly recommend getting this as a starter. I had hoped for for more brisket in my entree, but it was delicious nonetheless. The cornbread was outstanding, the fries were delicious, but the Mac n cheese was only mediocre. The service was a bit slow, but that could have been due to the fact that we were the first ones to arrive for dinner time at around 5pm. We had quite a long wait time but nothing too outrageous. I'd recommend this location!
google avatar

Rosie F.

Yelp
The ambiance was great!! The food was good once we found something they were not out of that evening. Out of brisket and gf Mac and cheese, however the pork tacos were great. They come with flour tortillas but I asked for corn. They would have been 5/5 if the corn tortillas were warmed or fried in a little oil. 3/5 because service was a bit awkward both inside and outside

Yelp
ordered food to be delivered via Door Dash, simple order of fried pickles and side of mac and cheese. Order arrived timely and bag seal still in place. There was no sauce provided for the pickles. I called Fire Hall and asked about the sauce and was told it should have come with sauce, and she would talk with the manager. She got back on the line and said I needed to call Door Dash, even though the restaurant screwed up and left out the sauce. Spent money on pickles no one wanted without the sauce. what poor customer service, and terrible management, trying to blame their mess up on Door Dash. we will not be going back to this establishment again due to service failures.

Yelp
Third time eating here, food is always great. Service is always top notch. Yesterday we ate out on the patio with our fur baby. Always a little worried when you sit outside that service will be lacking, not at all, waiter (Brandon, I think) kept up out drinks and did a great job.

Kevin K.

Yelp
Really disappointing meal from a previously reliable restaurant. Smoked 1/2 chicken was dry and rubbery and no longer comes with any sides.. for $21. The Ham Mac (stuff of legends) had a couple of tiny slivers of ham. I had actually forgotten I'd ordered the ham Mac until I found those random couple pieces in the bottom of the bowl. Yikes. Would always have recommended this place, but certainly not if this meal is any indication of the direction this place is going.
google avatar

Kelsey D.

Yelp
The environment is very cool. However, the service was very slow for drinks and the food was underwhelming. We tried the pulled pork nachos and the pizza. Possibly made the wrong choice in not ordering from the bbq menu, tbd!
google avatar

Mike K.

Yelp
If i could give a -1 I would. The place continues the trend to offer as little as possible for maximum $$ Good thing more competition is coming to town. .

Yelp
The food at this restaurant is truly delicious, and the service was decent. However, our experience took a disappointing turn when we arrived early for our igloo reservation only to discover that there were no igloos available, despite them being an option on the reservation site. This led to a delay in getting seated in the main dining room (our other option was the patio, but it was chilly). We were originally scheduled for 6:15, arrived early at 6:00, but we were seated at 6:30. It would have been more considerate to prioritize guests with reservations over walk-ins, especially when there were available tables in the main dining area. I only know that walk-ins were seated before us because I asked a nearby table that we watched get seated while we waited. Getting us a table would have allowed us to get our hungry toddler settled while we waited, instead of being crammed in the bar area taking up space the servers need to move about. I understand it might sound like I'm complaining, but these are relatively straightforward customer experience issues that can be addressed easily. Despite the hiccup, the food quality and service were good. We plan to return in the future but will keep an eye on other reviews in the meantime. I really enjoy the building and food and love watching local businesses succeed!
google avatar

Yelp
Great ambiance, very one of a kind, 4. Service, not the best. Ordered medium well burgers, they were mostly pink. Wanted to return them and got a bit of attitude. That's a 2. Food cause it wasn't cooked as ordered, 1. Finger food is your best bet. Nice place for drinks and hanging out.

Yelp
So good! Everything is always fresh and the service is great. Don't ever have to ask for a drink refill. Waitress was very attentive.

bunngo s.

Yelp
I ordered the brisket for take out. It was pretty dry but that I can get over with some sauce which I had to provide myself. The problem was the amount of food I got for 27$ brisket meal. I got a little over 1/3 cup of brisket with small sides. I added pictures for reference, this is pretty sad. Unfortunately won't be back again because the food/pricing isn't good enough to make up for eating two meals tonight...

Kyle M.

Yelp
The wait to get into this place is wild. Place looks so big on the outside yet it took 40 minutes to sit two patrons. Menu items sound great but when they arrive you'd think you're being punked! Prices are way off for the little portion you get except for the fries. You will get too many. The place is neat but with the small room for "dining" it gets loud that you have to shout to talk to whoever you're with. Not to mention how cramped the seating is. Moving in so servers and other guests can squeeze by you. The inconsistency of the atmosphere is wild to me. Paper straws but no paper napkins. You'd think for a BBQ place they would have napkins on the table but instead you get a cloth napkin to smear with. The layout of the different floor heights is quite annoying as you could easily trip not knowing that. Sauces in bottles were not full or labeled properly. Something needs to be done about the food portions and prices. Put a paper towel dispenser in the bathrooms wiping hands on soggy towels is not cool. The igloos are cool... when it was the option during Covid but they do not match the theme

John Q.

Yelp
Let's start with telling everyone a can of pop was $3.50 Really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately it is the definition of " shrink flation". The portions provided for what they charge is flat out insulting. Portions are so small that I'm literally considering stopping somewhere else for more food on the way home. Food was a solid ok. Not bad. Not incredible either. Just ok.

Christa M.

Yelp
Food was good. Ambiance was weird. Loud inside so we sat on patio. If you plan to use restroom be sure to take your phone, you're going to need the flash light. Servers were very nice. My $11 margarita was 85% ice which is just bs. Won't be back.
google avatar

Eli T.

Yelp
I was in Fenton when traveling back home from Detroit and stumbled across this place. The fried pickles caught my eye and I was blown away! They were huge pickle spears with a light and crispy beer batter, probably the best fried pickles I have ever had! I also got the Korean BBQ tacos, which has had pulled pork and a crunch zesty slaw on top! I will definitely be back if I am ever in Fenton again!

Emma B.

Yelp
Not sure why the upstairs bartender with the short hair & glasses was so rude on a slow night but she is the reason we won't be back. Didn't try our food or drinks so can't comment on those.

Melissa P.

Yelp
Ambiance was great Thought the food would have been better. Wouldn't go back again. Service was also alright but waited for drinks and refills
google avatar

Lachelle P.

Yelp
What a fun and unique atmosphere of this converted old fire house. All three floors offer a different experience but the roof top is where it's at!
google avatar

Corbin O.

Yelp
This place is always amazing, from their staff to the endless seating options that they have. The Mac n Cheese was delicious and creamy. The Carolina burger was tender and juicy! Thanks again for always being on point!
google avatar

Kristen R.

Yelp
Cool spot, but poor food. We had the seasonal butternut squash risotto and brisket. It was a very small portion for $27 worth of brisket, and the risotto was extremely dry, full of breadcrumbs, with cubed squash that was not baked fully. Very disappointed with the outcome of the food, but the service and restaurant was great.

Jeff S.

Yelp
Being a healthy eater I have become more used to 15 dollar salads. When you order a large salad and they charge you 95 cents for an extra dressing that is a cry for help. Hopefully they use the dollar to replace the light bulb in the bathroom and repair the toilet so it flushes. Don't think I'll be back.
google avatar

Chelsea P.

Yelp
Seating and food was fast, we came on a Sunday afternoon. Service was normal. Food was nothing too fancy - it sounded fancier I think than it was? I had the Korean tacos - they were tasty although tasted somewhat like liquid smoke. My husband had the spicy chicken burger and it was $23 which at that price could cover all our kid meals at Red Robin style restaurant. Kids meals were $7 - fine for burgers and fries and fruit but pricey for spaghetti ... I would say it would be ok - probably won't be back - it was over $70 for us to eat - we had four kids meals at $7/ea and my $14 tacos - you do the math for the rest. No drinks aside from water - we left a decent tip...

Yelp
I'm not sure what the hype is all about. Waited an hour to be seated, which is understandable considering the current situation. Tried to get on the wait list beforehand, but it was down. The place was freezing cold. Even the hostess was wearing her coat. Made it hard to enjoy the atmosphere when your nose won't stop running because of the constant chill. I ordered a frose. The server took the order and I saw him drop off other drinks to people. At least 15 minutes later he came over to give us a food update. I reminded him of the frose. He went to get it and returned with a made up drink because the machine was off and the drink is no longer available. Maybe that should have been better communicated to staff. I would have ordered a completely different drink, but instead he told the bartender just to make up something frozen. It was a nice gesture... probably would have rather chose something I wanted. Food came out. I got the Mac and cheese with ham. There was barely any ham. The cheese on top was so over cooked that it was a dark brown and the top layer pulled right off. The cheese sauce was supposed to be made from sharp and mild cheddar but all I tasted was Parmesan. Very disappointed. For dessert we shared the vanilla custard bowl that was supposed to be churned with liquid nitrogen. Maybe it was, but it tasted like regular old vanilla icecream. I've had nitrogen icecream many times and the texture and consistency is not the same as what this was. Again, very disappointed. I did order chips and cheese as an appetizer. Those were really good. Best thing I had all night.
google avatar

Nicholas R.

Yelp
This was my third visit and it was nothing short of disappointing. My girlfriend and I both ordered the SMOKED chicken. I emphasize "smoked" because it wasn't smoked at all. If anyone knows anything about smoked chicken they'll tell you that chicken has a raw (pink) appearance to it because of the smoke penetrating the meat. This didn't have that at all. The menu also said that it was rubbed with brown sugar. There wasn't any flavor to the rub whatsoever, let alone any sweet notes. The chicken inside and out was flavorless. The coleslaw was terrible as well, it was literally shredded cabbage with red wine vinegar. It's as if they were running out of prepared food and simply throwing things together without any care. We also ordered the strawberry state fair lemonade, which is supposedly made with 100 proof Ole Smoky moonshine. You'd think it would be on the stronger side but we couldn't taste any alcohol to the extent that I seriously doubt there was any at all. Management should be embarrassed. I won't be eating there again unless the quality drastically changes.

Yelp
Had a wonderful dining expirence at Fenton Fire Hall the other nite which was our first dining experience at this establishment. The business is centered around an old firehouse that has been turned into a restaurant on Leroy St in Downtown Fenton. It has a unique layout based on the architecture of the old firehouse with multiple floors for dining to include a outside roof top bar area and two outdoor dining terraces which we took advantage of on this trip (Shaded lower dining terrace). For our meals we had the Pulled Pork Nacho and the Memphis meatloaf. Relative to the Nacho, which was offered off the Appetizer menu, it was comprised of Smoked pulled pork, Tortilla chips, Shredded Romaine lettuce, chopped Tomatoes, Pickled chiles, House made cheese sauce, onions, sour cream and green onions. This dish was quite large and could easily be split into two meals without a problem where all the ingredients were fresh, and when combined together formed a very tasty dish! Of note, the star of this dish was the pulled pork which was smoked on site and had a pronounced smoky taste which I just loved. Relative to the Memphis meatloaf, the basis of this dish was a Angus beef/pork combination where the glaze was the house made sweet Tennessee barbecue sauce versus a normal ketchup glaze. I have never had a meatloaf made quite like this but I am a huge fan after trying this as the meat was well cooked, very tasty and the Tennessee glaze just set it off and took the taste to the next level. Scrumptious! Sides included a very well made/tasty redskin mashed potatoes and Spears of asparagus. Overall a great meal. For drinks We had the house brewed ice tea and the premium Fire House Margarita. The Margaritas ingredients included Cazadores Resposado tequila, Pierre Ferrand dry Curacao, lime, OJ, agave and Honcho Lager. Cost was $10 but was worth every penny of it as this drink was so so tasty and went down so well on this pleasant summer evening. Last thing to mention was that our server was super friendly and took good care of us with frequent follow ups. All in all a very very pleasant dining experience where I will definately be returning in the near future. If the smoked pulled pork was this good I can just imagine how good their smoked Brisket/chicken/ribs must be and will be ordering them next! In summary, if you are in the Fenton area this is a dining venue you should definately give a look see as you will not be disappointed. Five stars.

Yelp
Have not been to the Fire Hall in a while, no particular reason, but today's review is based on multiple experiences. I have had catering from here, family and company gatherings as well as date nights, which should speak to me really liking this place. Today was unfortunately meh. The whiskey sour tasted like high fructose laden, grocery store sweet and sour mix. The fish tacos were dry. My wife's Mac and Cheese, on the other hand, were delicious, but the onion rings forgettable. Comparing the bill to the menu, there was an item we were overcharged for when the bill arrived. If I were to go by today only, I would be teetering between 2 and 3 stars, while ordinarily, I would judge between 4 and 5. So 3 it is, until I have a better experience again to convince me otherwise. Insert "sad face".

Dennis R.

Yelp
Very dissappointed in the Brisket dinner. Flavor was good, but serving size was very poor. Sides came in nice size glass dishes. Brisket served in the smallest paper tray you can imagine. Being in a paper tray made it difficult to trim the fat which was about 50% of the brisket. I probably got 5 decent bites of brisket. One of the 3 small slice served was completely an end cut of fat. Service was good though. I would have complained, but I was meeting my son's girlfriend for the first time and didn't want to be "that Dad".

Ken H.

Yelp
Great service in an igloo for a birthday dinner! Food was really good, waiter was awesome! Perfect place for us to meet

Yelp
LeRoy: I started off with a hot pickle, deep fried-excellent. Then I went on to have a hot meat loaf sandwich on Texas toast. It was very good! To top it all off, the potato salad was out of sight. All in all it was an excellent meal. Katie: We started off with the fried pickles which are always a good choice. I ordered the 3 meat pizza pie and enjoyed dipping it the Tennessee bbq sauce. It was so large I could only eat two slices! It was delicious, however didn't have many flavors happening-just lots of bbq. It was a bit noisy. She was our sub for Caitlin. She wrote: I enjoyed the fish tacos, but the chips and cheese sauce were divine.

Yelp
Another great location by Union Joints! All the incredible dishes you can find at Union Woodshop, with their own little twists. Like the famous Mac n Cheese BUT it's called "Ann's Mac n Cheese" made with peas, a few different cheeses mixed in, and crispy fried onions on top. The atmosphere is incredible on the top deck in the summer. Always a good reason to drive to Fenton and enjoy their adorable downtown. Make sure to stop by Pumphouse after. It's another Union Joint that makes incredible ice cream!

W D.

Yelp
Food was meh! Not a bbq "joint". Kitchy, and food didn't taste like a pit master watched and labored over the food. Tasted like gas controlled smoke made in a kitchen not a pit. Sides were okay. Staff seemed young and uninterested. Won't be returning. Okay for "Friday's, Applebee's, ChiChi's crowd, who think there getting authentic BBQ.

Joshua P.

Yelp
Food was disgusting. I had the fish tacos and it was all batter. My wife had the burger and "housemate" kettle chips With in house smoked cheese chips and cheese had to be from Walmart. Ordered appetizer - artichoke dip with homemade bread. Came out and it was wonder bread toast. Ordered a gin & tonic with "fresh" squeezed lemon/lime and it was clearly the bottled lemon juice from a grocery store. the waiter was a rockstar, but this place sucked, in my opinion. I'd rather eat out of a garbage can than eat at this place again.

Randles L.

Yelp
The food is very good WHEN it's finally served. Two times in a row we waited 45 minutes to an hour for food. I get that COVID ruined the industry but it's really no excuse. We've all adapted and figured it out. I think that the Fire Hall needs to figure out seating and anticipated wait times.

Margaret S.

Yelp
Delicious food. Great for carry out. Parking in back. Right on Leroy in downtown Fenton

Yelp
Visited a couple months ago and the meals were good. Margherita pizza then was good. Based on that, this visit we tried the 3-meat and it was bland and tough. Almost zero sauce. But as simple as a kids meal is, the chicken tenders were NOT tender. My 11 year old grandson tried the first one and could not bite through or chew. I thought maybe it was him, but tried the other end. Tough, stringy and awful. Tried the second - just as bad. So his dinner was only the fries that came with it - they were good. Half chicken for $23 was ok, but Sams Club $5 rotisserie chicken is better than this. And the coleslaw was awful. For $50 total will be the worst and partially inedible meal I ever purchased. Did call to let them know, got left on ignore - so we share the experience here. Both visits were carryout, and we know that can reduce some of the quality, but the issues noted were not due to the 5-minute ride home. The first carryout meal was very good.

Yelp
The service is good, but the food has gone downhill. The fish and chips smelled like the fish was on its last day. It was so gross to have to smell that while I was eating my chicken Caesar salad. The chicken Caesar salad was less than ok. Had to drench it with extra dressing to cover up the weird chicken taste. They still advertise as cooking in a wood fire grill, but I don't think that's the case because it looks like the wood fire grill looks to be covered up with brick now. 2 other people in our group said the Korean fish tacos were not good, but the hunter burger was great.

Yelp
Unique venue for a restaurant, it is really a fire station. Food is good, drink selection is good as well. However the Bbq sauce selection is limited, I wish it had a spicer sauce. Also there is no ranch at the restaurant.

Yelp
Scheduled the igloo online a week prior. After arriving on time, and being seated for 20 mins they came out and stated they didn't have us reserved for the igloo and we had to go inside even though they acknowledged the reservation when we checked it. The Brighton area has igloos and doesn't screw up the basics of taking a reservation.
