Amazing spot, you can order anything on the menu and be “eating clean.” No seed oils, raw cheese, grass fed beef, and reasonable prices, given the quality of the ingredients- what more could you ask for? Not to mention the complimentary reverse-osmosis water to wash down your food with. They’re also a grocery, and sell lots of high quality meats, cheeses, and too much other stuff to mention. This spot is definitely a staple for me in OC, and frankly the kind of place I had expected to see more of in health/image-conscious OC.

Google
My friend recommended this place to me, specifically for the beef dip. The first time in I ordered said beef dip, I've posted what it’s supposed to be, and what I got. I didn’t look until I got home but for $18, plus tax and tip, It was a beyond irritating to open and see the beef dip not a roll, and on bread that looks like half the size as the other review photos. I showed my friend and even he said I got HOSED.

Clean and delicious food! We went for breakfast. I got the farmers plate. No seed oils. No junk. Just clean and high quality ingredients.

Google
Nice place with kombucha on tap, a mini market and some good food. My favorite was the sourdough corn bread. We also ordered a tuna salad sandwich and the vegetarian rice ramen. I would return, but out of these, I'd only order the corn bread again. Service was great. We purchased chocolate as well as the best dates I've ever had in the market.

Google
This place is really interesting with a broad menu. There are so many kombucha flavors and unique dishes to choose from. Everything is high quality and fresh and I appreciate that they give you an estimated wait time for the food to be prepared. Vegan and vegetarian accommodations can be easily made - the staff were knowledgable of the menu items to make modifications as needed. I recommend checking out their frozen food section for easy make-at-home items as well.

We love this place! We don’t live in the area, but when we pass through, we stop by! We love their kombucha and love the name too “food culture!” Great marketing! Today we got the sourdough pizza was SO GOOD! My daughter just loved it! My son loved the ramen. Ordered it twice! And my daughter enjoyed her tacos! I liked the coconut curry noodle soup! Keep in mind, with clean food everything taste more clean. It’s so wonderful to have people who care enough about nutrition and cleanliness open and run a joint like this. We love their little shopping area too, always fun goodies to indulge in! Keep it up, you guys!!!!

Google
The food experience was 3 but the storefront was nice, so I’m rating this place a 4. The food was decent for the most part (a bit pricey), but they should either get rid of or rename their ramen. It was so bland and flavorless, we were shocked that it was sold. Also, we ordered a black bean chili but got a ground beef chili instead. They offered to replace it, but it would have been bad if someone was religious or something. The concept of the store and focusing on healthy options is amazing. I just wish our experience was better.

Google
You will find all kinds of tasty foods and beverages here. They have a full menu for dine-in or take out. Plus, there is an incredible variety of fresh and packaged health foods that may change your life. This place is a gem for everyone. From kombucha and sauerkraut to onion soup and chili. I've never seen anything like it.

Yelp
Fermented is such a refreshing find in Costa Mesa. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance sets the tone -- it's relaxed, clean, and has that perfect balance of modern and cozy. You immediately feel like you're somewhere that cares about what they're serving and how they make you feel. The customer service was just as impressive. Everyone was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food. It didn't feel forced or robotic -- they clearly believe in what they're offering, and it shows. Now for the food -- the absolute star of the show. I ordered the grass-fed, grass-finished beef chili, and it was OUTSTANDING. You could taste the difference in quality immediately. The beef was rich and tender, the seasoning was spot-on (bold but not overwhelming), and the whole dish felt hearty without being heavy. It's the kind of meal that leaves you feeling satisfied, energized, and just better than when you walked in. Fermented is the real deal. If you're serious about clean, delicious food served in a welcoming environment, this spot should be at the top of your list. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
If I had to list my favorite businesses in Orange County, Fermentation Farm would easily make my top 10. Which is why I'm back with a round two 5-review of this local gem. It literally doesn't get better than healthy locally sourced tasty food. We stopped by during OC Restaurant Week for their $25 meal deal. This meal offering allowed us to snag an entree (chili or a tuna melt), side (bone broth), choice of kombucha, and house-made bread for dessert. I ordered the vegan chili, blueberry bread, chicken bone broth, and the creamsicle kombucha.. all for $25. An absolute steal, imo. I adore their weekly outdoor farmers market. You can easily go broke browsing their many dried fruits, fresh fruit, veggies, and nuts. I may have irresponsibly spent $30 on flavored nuts and fruit during my most recent visit. Forever and always a fave. Highly recommend checking out this biz on your next outing.

Yelp
Fermentation Farm is a cute spot tucked into a plaza with ample parking, which is always a plus. It's more than just a café--it's also a shop and grocer with a variety of fermented goods and health-focused products. All seating is outdoors, which makes for a nice casual dining experience. I visited during OC Restaurant Week and tried the salad, beef chili, and cornbread. While the flavors weren't quite for me, I appreciate the focus on wholesome, nourishing ingredients. Taste is always subjective, so others may really enjoy what they offer. If you're into fermented and gut-friendly foods, it could be worth checking out!

Yelp
Always and forever my favorite place to eat in OC. The quality of Fermentation Farm and the pride they take in their ingredients is unmatched. The tuna melt always satisfies along with their bacon chicken ranch flatbread. You really can't go wrong ordering anything off their delicious menu. All the employees are super friendly and helpful. The little market inside is awesome too. Do yourself a favor and try out one of their two locations!
google avatar

Yelp
Fermentation farm is fantastic! They have the freshest eggs straight from the farm. It's a cute little grocery store that also has a little restaurant. My dad and I love to eat here because they have veggie options. I personally love the grilled cheese and breakfast sandwich!

Yelp
The Thai coconut curry soup is out of this world. We are blessed to be living in the same timeline as this INCREDIBLE soup!!! I mean it. The broth has a touch of coconut and lemongrass. It's mixed with pasture-raised chicken broth too. Such a heart warming and soothing cup of soup. Perfect for tummy troubles or sick days with lots of veggies (green onion, cilantro and bok choy). Ferm farm is always coming up with new menu items and each item is always high quality and delicious. Their sourdough chocolate chip cookie is so gooey, thick, yet soft. Thank you ferm farm!!
google avatar

D. G.

Yelp
I went to check out the store area because I'd heard they have a great sourdough and delicious chili that you could purchase to bring home. I expected to pay a premium since it's a specialty store/restaurant but was pretty shocked at the prices once there. I'm completely willing to pay more for a quality product but $18 for a frozen, small loaf of sourdough bread and $24 for frozen chili, that MAYBE serves two, but more likely one, was just yikes! The store did have some items that are harder to find, like Masa chips. The staff were friendly but not overly helpful. The store is clean and has an airy kind of vibe. The parking lot is small, so I had to loop around a couple times waiting for a spot to open up.

Yelp
2/10/2025 This store has been on queue for a very long time! Fermentation Farm has been around since 2014 and they "are a community of people that care deeply about reconnecting with handcrafted, traditional foods that are dense in nutrients. Specializing in probiotic-rich and restorative foods that also contain B vitamins, electrolytes, collagen, and minerals that are necessary for proper gut and immune system and overall body wellness, we serve the general public with the aim to heal." Fermentation Farm have their own house-made products including organic fermented drinks, organic broths, organic coconut yogurts, organic coco milks, frappés & creamer, organic cultures, organic fermented veggies, organic tonics, brine & syrup and market items. WILD LINE-CAUGHT TUNA SANDWICH (Albacore, Sourdough Brioche, Fermented Relish, Cucumber, Mixed Greens) This had a very clean flavor. Nothing fancy, it tasted healthy and homemade. I appreciate the crunchy cucumbers and fresh mixed greens in the sandwich. ORGANIC MUSHROOM WILD RICE SOUP (Beef broth, cremini, shiitake, wild rice blend, scallion) Very clean flavor. I can taste the rich bone broth as the soup base. No cream was mixed in. There was more mushrooms than rice. Very tender mushrooms too. GRASS-FED BEEF BONE BROTH Really good, rich beef bone broth! I really enjoyed this and will be buying more! I got this fresh and not from the freezer. It was still hot by the time I got home. I think this would be perfect for the morning or even when you're feeling under the weather, a good bone broth to bring you back to health! Got this as a bowl. It wasn't written, but the container was in a 16oz container. When I actually did pour it into an 8oz cup, it was less than two full cups. Customer Service I'm a bit torn because two people were working at the front and while one was super friendly and helpful, another was just okay, doing their job and wasn't smiling as much. When you're new and visiting for the first time, you always want to be greeted warmly. It makes you wanna come back.

Yelp
Wonderful healthy place to eat when you can't be home to make it yourself. So nice to see a business that places the wellness of their customers as a top priority.... And it tastes fantastic too! Will definitely be back again soon

Yelp
I love this place and recommend to everyone! I visit this place a minimum of once a week. There are so many things I love about it. From the friendly and knowledgeable staff to the great products and the welcoming ambiance. The food is amazing , healthy and clean. I'm addicted of the elderberry syrup, the master tonic( natural inflammation medicine), the sourdough banana bread, the Ghee and the flourless chocolate cakes.... Those I always have at home. But everything from there is outstanding and you will not regret to try it.

Yelp
We came here after visiting the OC Fair which really boosted the experience tbh. It felt good to heal the gut a little bit after absolutely destroying it at the fair with funnel cake and fried bacon pickles. Life is about balance after all! I love all things pickled and fermented, so this place is so fun! Great service and a cute little outdoor section too (no indoor seating).

Yelp
This is a SOLID spot for some good, healthy, and organic food! Everything is cooked in cast iron skillets (From what I can see in the kitchen), the food comes out very quickly, the staff is always very sweet and welcoming. There is one blonde waitress that is very sweet every time and is always on top of everything. Like a one man show and she is killer! The sourdough sandwiches, especially with sauerkraut are our favorites! Pancakes weren't bad, but not my favorite. The tacos are awesome as well! Just solid spot to go to for some good and actually HEALTHY food! Place is also pet friendly and good spot to relax on by the beach a bit!

Yelp
I heard that this little restaurant with the peculiar name made outrageously great chili. I offered the option to my best friend and weekly lunch companion and he enthusiastically chose Fermentation Farm? Well, I am happy to tell you that the chili was "off the charts" delicious! No beans no tomato, just meat and flavor! I got the breakfast chili which included two sunny-side up eggs and toast. My buddy got the regular bowl of chili. I am still thinking about it 2 days later. The service was spectacular, friendly and efficient. The sidewalk tables outside on a beautiful afternoon were comfy and relaxing. Don't let the name put you off the food is legit and it is delicious!

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. It's not cheap... But you certainly get what you pay for. Exceptional quality food, that's hard to find in the US. I ordered a hot tea and the sandwich Brekkie on gluten-free toast. The GF bread that they use is from a local bakery called AWG. It's the cleanest, and best bread I've ever had... Completely void of any crap ingredients... But still soft and pliable enough to eat a sandwich, without it falling apart (which is a common annoyance in gluten free breads). This photo doesn't do my sandwich any justice. My two favorite things about it are the raw cheddar and the sauerkraut. Absolutely delicious.
google avatar

Clayton M.

Yelp
Food is good & healthy! We came for breakfast & tried it all. Brekkie sandwich is probably my favorite. Mini breakfast burrito is definitely mini haha. You could probably order 2 of them if you want to be more full. But it's also kinda nice because you can order a burrito + pancakes & it's a good amount, for the same price as another single breakfast item. Breakfast chili was perfect for the cold/rainy day we were there. Plain sourdough pancakes were also really good. I was definitely skeptical of all the healthy things they offer, since sometimes those healthy places don't actually taste very good. But it was actually really quality & still tasted solid. Came here on a cold & rainy Saturday morning, which was unfortunate given the fact that they only have outdoor seating :( however, 9.5 times out of 10, this wouldn't be a problem in the slightest.

Yelp
The menu includes some vegan options, mostly soups. They confirmed that the Tuna Sandwich was dairy-free, but I would encourage those with a serious allergy to double-check if the sourdough brioche they use is actually butter-free. It was a pretty tasty sandwich though, with an avocado mayo that isn't overly tangy, like I find most commercial tuna salad to be. Perfectly toasted with some nice crunchy greens in just the right ratio. (4/5) Had a small taste of the Vegan Black Bean Chili, but found this to be somewhat underwhelming and on the sweet side. Not to my personal taste for a chili, but not bad. (3/5) Didn't taste the Beet Salad (due to the inclusion of goat cheese), but it looked good, though I was told the pre-mixed dressing can be a bit too sweet, especially since the fruits and beets are already sweet. My impression this time has increased slightly from my previous visit, when I had a pretty disappointing avocado toast. The menu still doesn't dazzle me from a vegan or dairy-free perspective, but I like the community here, including both the business as well as the clientele. It's a comfortable place to enjoy lunch alongside some friendly faces. Overall 3.5, rounded down because I find the reviews are a bit inflated

Yelp
Iv been here a few times and would return, pancakes were ok today but have been amazing so maybe just a off day, the reason for my review is one to say the place is good and I would try it! but the girl in the front with the short hair was super rude to my mom and then to me on two separate occasions maybe a bad day but she was rude to me before so it stood out to me

Yelp
The great selections of fermented foods are a fabulous way to keep your gut health and it's best!

Yelp
Love Fermentation Farm. A gem that started off aa tiny health food store and now with a full kitchen serving breakfast , lunch and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff. Great quality products. Been supporting them from day one. Kombucha on tap, zingy yogurt, master tonic, fresh eggs, bone broth, collagen, fermented kimchi, and now a full service kitchen serving fresh chili, breads, pancakes, soups, sandwiches, etc. So happy to see the success and growth of fermentation farms.

Yelp
I finally tried Fermentation Farm this last weekend! I have been wanting to come here for FOREVER! It did not disappoint! I ordered the sourdough grilled cheese with raw cheese and sauerkraut. OH MY GOODNESS, this sandwich was HEAVEN! I want to have this sandwich everyday! I also ordered a side of the lentil soup which was really good, too, but the sandwich was a better bargain! The food is so good it makes your body feel good, too! I enjoyed looking at all the goodies one can buy while I waited a short moment for my order. I want to come back again for that sandwich and to try other menu items.

Yelp
I have had this bookmarked for quite some time. While I was impressed with certain things, I was unimpressed with others. Pros 1.) There is a farmers market outside with fresh produce from Rosewood Farms (prices are steep, but that's expected when it's locally grown) 2.) There are many options to buy: Kefir milk, Gluten Free bread, Meats, Bone Broth and healthy snack alternatives. Cons 1.) The chili wasn't good. It had a bad aftertaste and I was unable to finish my bowl. 2.) The prices are very high (I understand that health food has a cost and I am willing to pay it if it's worth it. However, the cost is far too high for basic items such as soups, salads and sandwiches) 3.) Not many seating options. I will likely go to this store for market items, but probably won't be going back for the actual in-house food.

Yelp
Ferm farm I came in for breakfast with a friend and ordered the chiliquillas. I love this place and everything I've ever tried was delicious. I also went home with some bison broth, chicken broth, farm fresh eggs, and quinoa puffs. I can't wait to return!

Jazmin N.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years and love love love the store, restaurant, weekly farmer's market, and cooking classes (not sure if they have at the moment, but if so make sure to take advantage and learn from Dr. Yasmin and her team)! This gem deserves all the praise and everyone deserves to eat their nutritious food made with love and a focus on health. The chefs and kitchen team are so wonderful and knowledgeable, thanks for all that you do! Even the store, small but filled with only the best - thanks for taking the time to source such quality snacks and dry goods, I always find something new. and congrats on the second location!!!

Yelp
The health nut in me is super excited at the discovery of Fermentation Farm and all its delicious yummies, including kombucha, sprouted seed butters, dried fruits, organic bone broth, freshly made salads and hearty soups. The person who took my order wasn't especially friendly but the storefront is tidy and there were lots of things to look at. The $18 cobb salad was disappointing due to its small size, the absence of avocado and big price tag. I am looking forward to returning to try items from the soup and ramen bar.
google avatar

Cindy Y.

Yelp
A store like this may be commonplace in CA, but for this Mainer, it was so unique. Loved seeing all of the various fermented food, local honey, and food to order. Tried a number of the fermented items at my brother's house - curtido, beet kraut, and ginger carrot - and all were amazing! A great place to shop for gut health
google avatar

Eliana R.

Yelp
I am so sad to do this, because some of the food here is absolutely amazing. And I love that I have somewhere safe to go with organic (?) food that is for sure seed oil free. Unfortunately, it's just not the same as it used to be. All produce used to be organic. Seems like now that they have us all believing they're serving everything organic... they don't anymore. They also used to use raw cream for their coffee drinks... they don't anymore. They were happy to boast these things when they did exist! But failed to inform us when it changed. I just happen to be someone who checks. Also, the food is DEEPLY inconsistent. I've gotten the kraut grilled cheese several times... sometimes the bread is rock hard, and sometimes the cheese is raw and not even cooked with soggy bread. It's all over the place. Whenever I get the farm breakfast, I ask for eggs over medium, and XTRA crispy bacon and potatoes. They never seem to get it right. One egg is always rock hard, and the other complete liquid. And the potatoes, some burnt, some completely raw and uncooked. Bacon, always soft and soggy no matter how many times I tell them I want it so overcooked it's burnt. Listen, I totally understand that beggars can't be choosers. And also, when I'm paying as much as I am for a meal, I expect the owners to uphold their original claims, and that their chefs have the ability cook to order, as they claim they are. I love the people, and I love the mission. Perhaps they might pay their cooks more so they can do a better job. And pay more for the organic ingredients they once promised to provide. Seems like they are really trying to save where they can instead of uphold their original promises! This place is not what it once was. Perhaps they grew too quick? I'm not sure... either way, I'll keep coming and hope some day soon they will get it right!
google avatar

AJ H.

Yelp
You can taste the freshness in every dish. My go to are brisket tacos and the chilli... the breakfast chilli version w their La Bahn eggs are amazing as well. I even buy carton of eggs from them and their bone broth and vegetable broths are amazing to make soup with. Ownership: please add delivery apps. Even if it's the expensive ones that don't take % of sales like toast or caviar.
google avatar

Teresa A.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try the Fermentation Farm for so long.... However, I was very disappointed after spending $20. I ordered the roast beef dip. The meat had absolutely no flavor, no salt and barely any coleslaw, even the au jus didn't flavor. They said it came on a sourdough roll, however it didn't taste like sourdough, it had the texture of a hamburger bun, spongy!
google avatar

Sonia Alisa J.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing although I had two tacos they are so healthy and filling. You feel excellent afterwards knowing that you didn't put garbage in your body. this place is very special. The food is outstanding. They have a small market. Absolutely Golden.

Yelp
"Clean" eating at its best! The food is delicious! I'm so grateful for having been introduced to this establishment. Please open in North County San Diego. ;)

Yelp
Looking for something a little different in Costa Mesa? Check out Fermentation Farm! It's a market and restaurant that serves and sells a bunch of...well...fermented stuff! From kraut to kombucha, they've got so many great choices. We got kind of a variety so that we could taste a bunch of their offerings. I got some Ginger beer and Brandon got some grapefruit Kombucha. I be livin' for this ginger beer. It's spicy, and really puts some hair on your chest. Yowza! I'm not a big fan of kombucha, but Brandon really seemed to enjoy his drink too. We also got some beef chili to share. It's rare around here to have chili without beans in it, but it's always welcome in my book. This was a fantastic chili with really deep beef flavors. Though, if you're looking for it, you could mix the beef and the veggie chili together for a more balanced taste. Onto our mains, I got a thai coconut curry soup that was light, yet rich, and so drinkable, hahaha. It's a good sign when you got the whole bowl up to your mouth. Josh got a tuna sandwich that....honestly, was very surprising. I don't usually think tuna sandwiches are worth it, but I would gladly order that again.
google avatar

Shannan E.

Yelp
Ferm farm is so delicious every single time. I love their kombucha on tap and their garlic kraut grilled cheese. I order it with the bone broth and dip my grilled cheese in the broth. So yummy! Would recommend this place for quality ingredients. Casual environment for sit down meals.
google avatar

Arlynn K.

Yelp
Healthy options for food. They also Make their own sour dough bread, kombucha and a good selection of pasture raised pasture finished meats in their frozen section. There are several tables and chairs outside of the establishment if you want to eat your food there. The people at the counter are also pleasant and informative. Love coming here for lunch when I'm in the area!
google avatar

Christianna C.

Yelp
Ive been shopping since their early days when they were in a small suite. I'd come for the bone broth and kraut. Now they've grown and I love all the food choices! I've gotten the sandwiches to go and enjoyed the food for breakfast & coffee. I love everything they have to offer, I don't love the high prices....
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
The Brekke Sando was a great spin on a breakfast sandwich with egg bacon cheese and sourdough it was spectacular I got the Beef chili with jalapeño and it was spicy and so flavorful! The service was helpful and fast ! I will be back !
google avatar

Ortencia A.

Yelp
Seed oil FREE dining! Fermentation farm serves up grass fed, organic, seed oil free eats! From my recollection this spot started as a kombucha shop that also sold farm eggs and bone broth and had grown into a full cute restaurant that supplies a multitude of healthy food products. Today I ordered a large beef bone brith and grass fed chili to have for the next few days and sourdough pancakes and a bacon egg potatoes for breakfast!
google avatar

Nhi V.

Yelp
With my newfound sensitivities to certain foods, Fermentation Farm has been a life saver because I don't have to sacrifice my taste buds for better quality ingredients. My go to here has to be their breakfast sandwich because it holds together well and deceptively makes me satiated for a long time. I'm always eager to come back and I hope I can try the pancakes on the weekend soon!

Yelp
Fermentation Farm has been on my bookmarks on Yelp for so long and I was able to try it out finally. This store is packed with a ton of healthy food and things you can buy to take home. I had lunch here with my friend and we had their sandwiches and different soups as a side. We also tried their homegrown kombucha as well. Super tasty. I got the kraut grilled cheese which has a nice crispy bread texture and a cup of chili which was a nice hearty meal. My friend has a tuna sandwich with a cup of bone broth. Everything is house-made and the food items are served daily. I can't wait to come back to try something different. They have outdoor tables and chairs so you can eat them here. Wish I had a place like this in my area.

Ramona K.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this Sunday morning, and we were just as thrilled with the little shop of organic products as the delicious breakfast! We each had the breakfast sandwich, and it was amazing. Different than what you are used to because of the kraut (kim chee?) mixed with the egg and bacon. Hearty sourdough too! Delicious coffee to boot. It's really cute inside and has a Kombucha bar as well so we had to sample one of course. Everyone is super nice and helpful. After breakfast we shopped and picked up a lot of great items such as Napa Kim Chee, some Kefir pops for my granddaughter and sprouted granola. HUGE selection of organic foods and treats. A great spot I will be returning too for sure.

Yelp
Just can't get enough . Food was great as always. Staff is always very helpful, educated and happy.

Yelp
By far, one of the greatest spots to stop by and eat if you care about the highest quality ingredients. Fermented foods, pasture raised and/or grass fed animal foods, raw milk, bone broths - the highest quality foods you can find anywhere. HUGE BONUS: I don't think I've seen any seed oils in here as well My go to is the grass fed beef chili with all the fixings, beef or chicken bone broth with collagen, and wash it down with some raw kefir. Always a pleasure dealing with the team members Great value overall, and to those who say it's too expensive.. you're either paying the farm now or paying the pharmacy later. Grateful for Fermentation Farm

Yelp
Per their website, this location was opened by Dr. Yasmin Mason with the intention of healing peoples gut health. Wow do they deliver! From the iron cast pots they cook in, to no seed-oils in their food, and perfectly crafted kombucha on tap. The store is filled with a variety of goodies to select from, a few of them being organic bone broths, colostrum, organic seasonings, organic Kiefer pops, and even - 200 year old sourdough starter! On top of all of this, they have one of the top 8 (per LA times) tuna melt sandwiches in town is a MUST try (sourdough bread is crunchy as ever, the tuna itself is wild caught albacore, and delicious sauerkraut to top it off) Services was friendly and everyone there was fairly knowledge in the product base. I do wish they had heaters for outside seats during the cooler times, but all in all great experience and will be heading back for more :) I love to support a local business with good intention behind their business.

Yelp
Great good! There's definitely something on the menu for everyone. I highly recommend their chocolate cake, it's good any time of the day! Only outdoor dining. Bathroom inside. Service is great! Staff is friendly and ready to answer questions. They do have chilled and frozen food to purchase and take home.

Yelp
Been meaning to make the drive for more than a year now and FINALLY made it out to Costa Mesa. And let me tell you, drive was so worth it! We grabbed bottles of kombucha (they let you sample from a menu of flavors, and they have a lot! So take your time) and paired it with a few of their sandwiches because we wanted to try their bread which we've been hearing a lot about and it just exceeded our expectations. How can a sandwich taste so good?! The bread was crunchy, well-buttered (gee-d), not at all oily and was the perfect vessel for my tuna sandwich and my husband's breakfast sandwich. I can tell that the sauerkraut and pickles used in the sandwich was well-made and was not over-done (or overly fermented). They do get packed on weekends so try to avoid lunchtime rush to get a better ambiance and a less frantic experience of all they have to offer but their service is also pretty impeccable, so you don't feel it as much. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Will be back to try other items from their menu, especially their soups!

Yelp
An absolute must try if you're cautious about the ingredients in your food. Tuna melt on GF was by far my favorite but will definitely be back to try other options. Expensive but considering the ingredients it's worth it. Definitely look around inside at other household ingredients to take home, they have so many options. Service is great and they're so helpful. Outdoor seating only.

Yelp
Best vibe, selection, and so glad it exists. The tri tip sandwich, elderberry and ginger kombucha along followed by pumpkin bread were perfection. Also The bone broth hot cocoa was also the most nourishing and satisfying beverage. A+

Yelp
Pretty disappointed on spending $18 each dish and it was soo small.. like the French dip looks like a tea sandwich.. it was delicious but the portion size left me hungry still.. the bowl of chili was small too and needs more spice..

Yelp
I stumbled here on a rainy Sunday last month and I've been back three times already. I feel healthier and energized after my meals. Maybe its in my head but I'll keep coming back.

Yelp
This place is more like a cute small grocery store with an outdoor cafe. Dogs are welcome but unfortunately they don't have any cool pet snacks for sale. There are a lot of neat things being sold like pickled vegetables and local chocolates, drinks, soap, etc. The most popular item were the farm raised eggs. Saw one guy walking out with 36! The staff was very nice and offered free samples of kombucha. Better than any of that stuff you buy at Whole Foods. I personally like mine with extra sugar but I guess that defeats the purpose of health. I got the blueberry kefir and it was like a fruity soda but less sugar. I also ordered the rice ramen. I went in with the expectation that it wouldn't be anything like the Japanese ramen and I was right. My friend described it best: the rice ramen was the LaCroix of ramen. Just enough of a hint that you could tell it was ramen flavored but very lean and healthy. The noodles were slightly green so probably some vegetable mixed in. I wouldn't recommend it for the price to portion ratio but it was a fun taste for science. More like a cup than a bowl. The breakfast sandwich was a lot tastier and it was pretty much a fancy grilled cheese with toppings. Their matcha drink was good so no complaints there. Lots of parking and fun small shops next door.
