Grapevine Is the 'Christmas Capital of Texas'

"Family-owned passion radiates here, where chef Stefano Secchi first honed his craft under the guidance of his parents, Francesco and Jane, before earning a Michelin star in New York. The flagship blends the soul of a northern Italian trattoria with the homespun sophistication of a Texas steakhouse—think house-made pasta, decadent rib eyes, and a wine list worthy of its namesake." - Kat Stinson Kat Stinson Kat Stinson is an award-winning freelance journalist and content writer. Whoa man. You know we like good Italian. This is one of those man I'm glad I found this one. Homemade pastas for the win! Cassie made some excellent recommendations from the wine list. We talked about the features we liked in vino and she said, this is the one you want. It was delicious and paired well with our dinner. Gnocchi was the table favorite. I have to agree. When I think of gnocchi, this is what I'm thinking of from now on. They've set the bar everyone else must compete against. Tiramisu? Of course. Don't tease me. Focaccia? Yup. Chicken parm? Double yup. Canallone? Wow. Must return for another shot at this menu. P. S. We got the gangster booth. IYKYK

I cannot say enough positive things about this place. We had reservations in downtown Dallas but were all staying at the airport so we wanted something closer. They were booked on Open Table so I called and the woman who answered was so polite and immediately offered to accommodate our part of 10 within 30 minutes. We all showed up to a lovely table ready and waiting for us, water glasses filled and just the most delightful introduction to the specials. Our server Leslie was amazing as was the owner who was so funny and cooked a couple steaks table side along with this fabulous banana dessert. I can’t wait to bring my family back. The food was amazing as was the service and atmosphere. The place is huge, lots of room inside and out, private party rooms and it filled up as the evening went on with tons of other large groups and couples.

Absolutely blown away by the food and hospitality. The steak, the seabass, the homemade pasta — all perfection. The staff made the whole evening feel so special. This is officially one of our favorite spots in the area. Can’t wait to come back!

We had such a wonderful experience at Ferrari’s Italian Villa! Our server, Jesse, was amazing, so friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about all the best menu options. He truly made the evening special. The owner, Francesco, personally welcomed us and shared stories about his history and the incredible places he has lived and cooked. It added such a warm, personal touch to the night. I ordered the Steak Diana, which Francesco prepared table side, it was absolutely delicious! My husband had the sea bass special and loved every bite. We ended the night with their tiramisu, which was the perfect finish to an incredible meal.

Google
This place is a joke. I have always wanted to go so ventured with a friend during restaurant week. We had to get up and ask someone if we had a server coming after we had been waiting for over 20 minutes with no greet in a relatively empty restaurant. We requested restaurant week menus which actually charged you more for everything than if you ordered each course on its own. Do they think people can’t do math? The Caesar salad was three tiny Romain leaves and a small piece of bread for $16. Are they serious? I ordered the cioppino and it was so fishy tasting it was foul. It was as if something was spoiled. I couldn’t even eat it. Server was sweet and gave us dessert which we barely touched as a roach climbed on the wall next to us. I will never be back.

My sisters and I came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and everything about our experience was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly kind, and our service was outstanding — very informative, patient, and helpful when answering questions about the menu and helping us choose items. The atmosphere felt upscale without being intimidating, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and experience. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and an elevated dining experience with friendly pricing.

Google
We went to Ferraris last night for a friends birthday dinner using the Restaurant Week. What a gem! The atmosphere was beautiful. The service top notch and the food was amazing. The even do the old school table side dining. We loved it!

Google
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had! Deitrick was incredible—attentive, friendly, and just had a great vibe all around. He made us feel right at home and gave amazing recommendations throughout the night. On top of that, the owners were there and their presence really brought a warm, family feel to the whole experience. You can tell this place is run with heart. The hospitality, the atmosphere, the food—everything was on point. Can’t wait to come back!

Yelp
My husband was first introduced to Ferrari's when they had a location close to our home. He took me once, and from that moment we were hooked. The food was absolutely phenomenal. One evening we showed up for dinner only to discover, to our horror, that the location near us had closed. Thankfully, not all was lost because Ferrari's still had their Grapevine restaurant. Since they are closed on Sundays, it took us a little while to finally make the trip, but it was well worth the wait. We were not disappointed. At this location we had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his wife, which took our experience to an entirely new level. I didn't think it could get better than what we had already enjoyed, but I was very wrong. They were so kind and genuinely engaged with us, listening to my husband share stories about our many trips to Italy. We even swapped favorite destinations, and the owner told us a bit about where he was from and that one of his sons was either in Italy or heading there soon. That personal connection made me want to support this establishment even more. Although we had a wonderful waiter serving our table, the owner himself came over to prepare the Scampi alle Fiamme tableside, which was such a special touch. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was warm and authentic, and the level of service rivaled what we've experienced in Italy. Please go visit Ferrari's. They made our evening unforgettable, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Yelp
First time trying this restaurant as I'm typically an early eater and unfortunately they don't open until five. Arrived at 5 and the atmosphere was slow but it was also a Monday so I'll give them that as well. The service was very attentive and everyone super nice. The food was good but not great. I ordered a chicken Marsala off menu so I do appreciate that but it was a bit greasy. It came with polenta which I didn't care for, would've rather had pasta or mash potatoes. We shared the bread which was fantastic- I have a tomato allergy so they substituted the red sauce for a white sauce- highly recommend doing that. We shared the truffle ravioli side but it didn't have any taste of truffle but the pasta was nicely aldenti Overall good but not great. I may or may not come again.

Yelp
Ok let me start with this, When you walk in and you're pleasantly greeted and sitting not far away is Mr. & Mrs. Secchi, Aka Franchesco and his Queen(once you see the love these two have you will understand) Then you are introduce to the specials and seated, Tonight we had Deitrick for a Waiter, Amazing Guy absolutely on point! Timed our meal perfectly, drinks were always full.. Now let's talk food, this is definitely Italian food at its finest! Not another place like this within 1000 miles, at least not until you get to Little Italy in NYC! You can not go wrong at all, everything (yes we have enjoyed most of the menu over the years) is always fresh, well prepared, cooked to perfection and will arrive set to perfection! If you are debating Stop, go indulge, intimate dinner, company gathering, or just a night out with friends you can not go wrong!

Rick D.

Yelp
Ambiance is great. It's quiet, cozy and busy at the same time. Service is amazing. The staff is very attentive. The owners treat everyone like family. We have been in the Dallas area for 5 years. This is by far the best meal we have found so far. The seafood was amazing. My filet was cooked a perfect medium and the pasta side dish, (a half moon ravioli stuffed with butternut squash) was so good.

Yelp
My husband and I chose to celebrate our first Valentine's Day as a married couple here. We were not disappointed! Our reservation definitely fell during a lull in their dinner service, so we had great service that did not feel rushed. The filet mignon was melt in your mouth tender, my salmon bella donna was cooked to perfection, and the wine was great. Everything was seasoned to perfection - I'm not quite sure what other reviewers were talking about seasoning wise. My big (and only) complaint is that the tiramisu, while flavorful and packed with Amaretto, lacked the bitterness of espresso. It would have been a nice balancing note between the sweetness of the amaretto and the richness of the cream. I won't complain too much though... I could have licked that plate clean

Yelp
Seriously Ferraris? This is how you package a $75 dinner? You need to spend a little more money on your containers for what your price point is. I've had better packaging from Cheesecake Factory. Very Disappointing for what was supposed to be a nice dinner. Looks more like Spaghetti factory. SMH

Yelp
Leslie was a phenomenal server! She went out of her way to make us feel special on our anniversary! The food was some of the best food I've had in the DFW area. The atmosphere was so welcoming. We will be back to celebrate all special occasions here.

Kimberly B.

Yelp
We went for a team meeting. Portions small and overcooked. Definitely will not be bringing a group back.
google avatar

Thuy N.

Yelp
One of the most authentic and best Italian restaurants in the DFW metroplex. People who run this restaurant make sure you really enjoyed it and the atmosphere is amazing. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
I have lived in the area for over 7 years and I love Italian food. However, I had never been to Ferraris Italian Villa. I can't believe we waited so long. All these years we have been missing out on some amazing Italian food and great service! If you have not tried it, you have to go.

Morgan M.

Yelp
The ambience was perfect. The food is exceptional. I had the lasagna and focaccia bread and it exceeded my expectations. Also, the owners are so kind! I will definitely be back.

Yelp
What a wonderful restaurant at which to have a private party / dining experience. Cindy was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the planning. The party menu choices were excellent and included a chicken dish, filet, sea bass and rack of lamb and allowed for each guest to pick their entree of choice. Each entree was prepared by the chef to perfection and unparralled presentation. The entrees are served with family style pasta dishes and dinner is followed by desserts (we chose Italian Surprise - a three flavor ice cream dish presented with flair and flame.). The service was attentive with a dedicated server in a cordial, non-obtrusive manner. The price for value ration was certainly acceptable. I highly recommend Ferrari's Italian Villa and Chop house in Grapevine, Texas for your fine dinning and private party desires.

Yelp
On the outside, this restaurant looks like a macaroni grill from the outside (in the suburbs near the highway). I was quite impressed by the interior and food choices. Much nicer and finer dining than I had anticipated. The food was phenomenal--my favorite was the Gnocchi alla Mamma--very creamy and rich. We had a variety of red wines and overall it was a rich full meal--perfect to celebrate a birthday. The servers were kind and attentive. Would definitely come again!

Yelp
When you enter the place it looks classy. Then the greeter takes me to some trays by the kitchen instead of seating me. We go through this long show and tell, pointing at uncooked meat and telling me what the various specials are. Weird and annoying, I just wanted to sit. The menu had some nice choices. I ordered a bosco salad and spaghetti with chucks of filet and pork. The salad was delicious. The spaghetti was disappointing. Instead of chucks of meat, it was finely ground. The sauce covering was minimal. The portion was big.

Yelp
First time going to Ferraris and was impressed with the entire event. Service was outstanding, the cocktail I had was very good, food was excellent, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Price wise a bit more than expecting, but overall well worth it. Highly recommend...
google avatar

Tuana Y.

Yelp
My son and I frequent this restaurant! Their offerings and specials are always amazing. They have an expansive menu with something for everyone...even the kids! The ambiance however I would say is more suitable for a date night as opposed to dinner out with younger children unless going around 5-6pm. Their fish, proteins and pastas are cooked to perfection and they offer dishes that are unique as opposed to having the same thing as every other Italian restaurant offers. The wait staff superb! I look forward every time we eat here as it's always an excellent experience. If Italian is one of your favorite cuisines I strongly recommend trying this restaurant out...well worth it!

Yelp
Joined my family and friends there for a private retirement party in one of the party rooms. Food was wonderful, service was great and I wish we had this venue in Houston! I will come back to Grapevine and plan to have dinner there again. L Haring

Yelp
I will start by saying that this place is a favorite of mine and my coworker. She and I always make it a point to dine here when we are in town on business. The parking lot is never full and the place isn't much to look at from the outside. No worries though...press on and you won't be disappointed. We usually make reservations but this last time we didn't and had no issues being seated immediately. It should be noted that we almost always go there on a Monday or Tuesday evening, so I can't speak for the business volume on a weekend. The host is always gracious and will stop with you at an iced down "special station" where the featured menu items are plated and displayed. He or she talks through them for you with a detailed description before taking you to your table. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful with a kind of upscale old Italy kind of feel, with white table cloths and the whole 9 yards. The lighting is dim, so if you're like me and can't see a lick, make sure you have your phone flashlight handy for reading that menu!! The service is always very good here in my experience. Servers are knowledgeable and able to answer any questions. We did not order an appetizer, but a word to the wise is that each table receives a complimentary order of the focaccia bread with marinara sauce - you just have to ask for it. It's delicious, so of course we ordered that! I have an unusual food allergy - my chief complaint at this restaurant is that I like to order the sea bass and it comes topped with lump crab meat (that's how it is described on the menu). I am allergic to lobster but i CAN have crab. When I read the menu, I would make the assumption that I would be safe to have that dish. Of course I always make the server aware of my allergy regardless of what I order, and when I did that, he informed me that the lump crab meat on the sea bass is mixed with lobster meat as well. The manager was gracious and substituted a side of shrimp instead, but a bit more truth in menu would be much appreciated. My coworker ordered the gnocchi and a side of brussels. I have had the gnocchi here before as well...I highly recommend(!!) and she also said the brussels were amazing. The sea bass is always good - nicely cooked with good flavor, and not dry. Helpful hint: the menu doesn't say this, but the sea bass also comes with a side of cauliflower puree. It's good, but I think for the type of restaurant it is and the price point, they could do a better job plating the dish. You eat with your eyes. :-) We didn't get dessert on this trip because our flight had gotten delayed and it was late, but we have before. I recommend getting the chocolate mousse tart (may not be calling that by the right name)...it is super rich but so good. They also do a nice bananas foster tableside that's cool to watch. Bottom line....This is a very nice restaurant with good food and good service. Great place for a nice dinner out. You should go.

Yelp
Great hospitality and the food was good quality. We like the fact that they prepare so many items table side. The owner works there, which makes a huge difference.

Yelp
Excellent food and service in a classy restaurant setting. Oscar served us well from the moment we stepped into the bar. Then he arranged a quiet, romantic table for two in a hidden corner and gave us just the right amount of attention without hovering. Nicest dinner experience my wife and I have had in a long time.
google avatar

Robin P.

Yelp
First, pardon the lighting in my photo, my phone is old and it was a darker ambience. =) I've wanted to try this place as long as I can remember. My step-dad used to take my mom here and it always sounded so amazing. It is definitely pricier, so it's more of a special evening or work dinner when you can expense it kind of place. But it's absolutely worth it. The risotto was perfectly cooked. I've had Taverna's risotto and it was a little salty and too soft (I am a salt fiend so that's a crazy thing for me to say, lol), but this was very nicely done. Had the garlic parmesan bread and a side of mushrooms. The mushrooms were AMAZING. I would get them with everything. My friend had a side of the pomodoro pasta with his chicken parm, it was fantastic. It was such a light sauce, but still somehow managed to taste rich. I don't normally like just a plain pomodoro pasta but this sauce was just... *chef's kiss*. We had several desserts, I tried two. The creme brulee, beautiful citrus flavor (never had citrus in my brulee, it was wonderful), and the dessert that's essentially bananas foster. One of the only ways I love bananas and it did not disappoint. Tremendous table side preparation and presentation. If you haven't been to Ferrari's, or you've been on the fence, just do it. I will find any excuse to go back now. And maybe I'll be able to get better pictures next time. lol

Yelp
The food was delicious probably the best Italian food in the area! Highly recommend. The service was excellent and the restaurant atmosphere was very nice. The crab claws a must and don't forget an aperol spritz.

Yelp
Incredible authentic Italian cuisine! Today we celebrated our 41st Anniversary and wanted a fine dining experience, we found it in Ferraris Italian Villa and chop house, it did not disappoint. We were fortunate to get a reservation a week in advance. We were even more blessed to get Oscar as our waiter, his attentiveness was second to none. The food was so fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. I had the sea bass topped with crab meat, it was truly a 5* dining experience. The hubs had the Chicken pollo finanziera, Oscar suggested the fresh homemade pasta and it was spectacular. We finished with Crème brûlée and Tiramisu, wow! The owner is always around and made a point to greet each of the tables. I forgot tor a moment I was in Texas. We will be back.

Loren C.

Yelp
Food, amazing! Service, top notch...thank you Ernie! Ambiance was on point for our 33rd Anniversary! Thank you to the owner for a wonderful conversation, she knows how to make a guest feel welcome! If you have not been here you need to go now! Gem!
google avatar

Matt P.

Yelp
If you are going to charge a premium, your food and service needs to be worthy. Service was absolutely terrible and the food was overall bland. The real issue here was the service and had the service been on point it could have made up for the relatively average food...nonetheless, terrible service and average food on a $200 ticket for 2 people = a one star review in my book.
google avatar

Larry W.

Yelp
AMAZING! From the time you walk in until you leave this place it is on point! The service was great and the food was incredible. My son and I had the fillet stuffed with mozzarella/proc and my wife had the ricotta ravioli. Don't pass this place up. They are extremely friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Was looking for a spectacular spot for our 1 year anniversary. Made a reservation at Ferrari's and it was absolutely perfect. The food was immaculate, beautifully plated as shown, and it tasted just as wonderful as it looks. In our reservation, I noted it was our anniversary, and I was given congratulations by the wait staff and given the delicious dessert shown free of charge. The inside was busy, as it was cold outside. However, they have an incredible seating area with effective heatlamps and a windbreaker, so even though it was a very cold night, we remained warm and comfortable, while also enjoying fresh air. Absolutely will return here!

Pamela M.

Yelp
Lovely restaurant. The food and service were wonderful but cooking the scampi table side was that little bit of special that made it a great evening. This is the way dining should be.

Brian S.

Yelp
We were in Texas visiting friends and they took us to Ferraris in Grapevine. What an amazing experience. The restaurant is very clean and laid out very well. Our waiter Oscar was spot on and went above and beyond with incredible service and spot on recommendations , Thank you . The food was delicious zero complaints. So if you're looking for amazing Italian food and great service I highly recommend Ferraris

Claire L.

Yelp
We were warmly greeted by the hostess/owner. She described the special's and antipasto to us. We enjoyed focaccia bread fresh from their brick oven, served with fresh tomato sauce. Our phenomenal entrées included vitello saltimbocca, (the veal was perfectly paired with the sautéed mushrooms. Also, the Berkshire pork chop was seasoned and tender. Each entree was served with a portion of the most perfect, creamy polenta. We ordered two sides to share, asparagus, and gnocchi della mamma. The gnocchi was light and fluffy. Lovely atmosphere. Thanks for a great evening!

Felix M.

Yelp
Well tried to have dinner there last night for a special occasion. Ordered a nice bottle of wine and an appetizer. The wine came then waited 49 minutes for the appetizer. That never showed up! Our dinner did! It was cold when we said that it was unacceptable the owner took it back and put it in the brick oven which when it was brought back to the table the plate was extremely hot and the food was dried out and the vegetables were burnt. Needless to say we paid for the wine and left. So much for our special occasion!! There won't be a next time. The service, food and the disrespectful are not worth our patronizing that place again!

Teena S.

Yelp
A great place for date night. Lighting is dim. The service was really good in the beginning then we felt like they forgot about us. The time between the appetizers to our main course took a long time. It was a good thing the kids were eating already, but they wanted to go home. Wine - Decent wine list Fettuccine Bolognese - kids loved their food and the restaurant was nice to split the dish for them. Black truffle tortellini - Delicious. Spinach - Good. We always need Veggies! Filets - After waiting a very long time for our filets to arrive, both our steaks were over cooked. We ordered rare & medium rare. I had to send my back because it was too cooked. They were nice to speed up the process on my filet. When I got my filet, it was cooked perfectly the second time around. My husband just sucked it up and ate his filet bc he didn't want to wait a long time for his filet. The restaurant wasn't busy so not sure why we were forgotten. This restaurant would have gotten a 4* but with the wait time and the mistakes on both filets, I'm sorry, I had to dock it by a star. Overall, a great place to eat with a date.

Yelp
We've been to Ferraris a few times now and each time it's been delicious. Don't be fooled by the exterior, when you step inside you're immersed in Italian charm. From the cozy booths to the elegant tables to the chandeliers. The staff is always friendly and service has never been subpar. If you're looking for your next date night spot, try Ferraris!

Yelp
OMG, what a difference two week can make. After completing our final seminar day here in Dallas Texas we all decided to come back to Ferrari's Italian Villa for dinner and I am glad we did. Everything from the temperature to the appetizers to the main course and the dessert was out of this world this evening. Food: We started off with the flatbread and the fried calamari. Just like the last time I didn't care too much for the flat bread or marina but the calamari on the other hand was very tasty, especially the fried banana peppers which were delicious. For my main course I ordered the Mushroom Veal Marsala with the Gnocchi as a side dish and it was so unbelievable good and mouthwatering. My coworkers Grilled Lamb-chops were even better and the meat was way more tender and so perfectly seasoned. The Ferrari Seafood/Lobster dish was also so good that pretty much every one agreed that it was better than the food from Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen from last night and I honestly also felt a little bit torn between those two fabulous places. The drinks here are also on the better side and most definitely stronger than most bars or restaurants. For dessert we had the Banana Caramel Brûlée which was hands down one of the best dessert ever!!! Verdict: 5 stars around this time. Don't miss out on this hidden gem. Enjoy and Bon Appetit.

Mary M.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing and super fresh as it came out, didn't have to wait long at all for it. The weight staff was also very nice and they were very commentating. They helped us so much on picking the food and also bringing the food on time. atmosphere is very relaxing and also unique and the way that it is very Italian style.
google avatar

Jon N.

Yelp
Not impressed. They were out of crab claws appetizer. They were out of several home made pastas. How do you run out of in house made pasta. They were out of goat cheese. Central market is five minutes away. Eatzi's is within walking distance. We should have been informed of food outages by the old guy host, who could have cared less, and/or our server PRIOR to ordering. Speaking of our server, Stacy, he is more interested in what's happening with the bartenders than taking care of guests. We asked what beers they have and the answer was "We have all kinds of beer". At a restaurant this high end the server should know the beer selection. He had TWO tables. We were basically abandoned by our server. Empty water glasses. Empty drinks. He was horrible and was tipped accordingly. No wonder he works Sunday night. For a $322.00 meal and a party of five I expected so much more out of this restaurant. The only saving grace was the food. Only reason I gave two out of five.

Yelp
This place is a reasonably proced hidden gem. The interior is gorgeous and the service is also top tier. We visited on a slow Monday night and we enjoyed a classic old fashioned and the Basilica featuring Aviation gin. I highly recommend the beef carpaccio as it was delicate with a bright flavor. The homemade pastas were also piping hot from the first bite to the last. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
This place is absolutely fantastic! Of the 20 or so times I have been, I have loved everything I have had, but I'm finding that it is difficult not to order the lasagna - my favorite that I have ever had. I having started taking friends with me, and they have all loved it, too. Given that Dallas and Fort Worth don't have the best Italian food when compared to other regions of the country, Ferrari's come as a pleasant surprise. As well, the service is excellent - very old school in that the waiters are well-versed on how the food is prepared, the ingredients, etc. Finally, I must say that the Italian gentlemen (I'm guessing he is either the owner or general manager) who regularly stops by my table inquiring about my meal adds that special touch to the experience. I can't wait for my next visit.
google avatar

Avery M.

Yelp
This is hands down the best Italian resisting in the DFW. Heck, I may even venture to say it's the best in Texas in my experience. Haven't found better more authentic Italian food anywhere in the USA. Only thing that has compared was an Italian restaurant in Paris. The food here is authentic, the atmosphere properly set, and the service stellar. Having a meal here is an experience not just a bite to eat. Don't let the prices scare you away, it worth every penny. Couldn't recommend more, and will certainly be frequenting this place for years to come!

Lisa M.

Yelp
Everything about this place was amazing. We were there for 2 hours and not once felt rushed. Our server went at our pace, was there when we needed him and never hovered. He made perfect suggestions. The risotto we perfectly done and the Chilean sea bass was full of flavor. We wanted dessert cocktails and he was able to get the bartender to make us decaf espresso martinis. They were delightful! I will go back next time I'm in town for sure.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! So much yumminess here! We found it kind of randomly but we were so pleased with it. To start the focaccia bread was AMAZING! I would come back for that alone. We got a good red wine and the fried calamari and shrimp. Very good and not greasy at all. Tasted so fresh. I got the gnocchi bc the menu said made in house and i did not regret my choice. Husband got the chicken Alfredo and loved it as well. Definitely check this place out!

Yelp
Our family went to Ferraris Christmas Eve. We go out every Christmas Eve, so I am prepared for special menus and crowds that come with the evening. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Our waiter (after some wait) finally stopped to ask for drink orders. Two of those were wrong. After a long period of waiting, we had to flag him down to order our food. That was the last time he even stopped at our table. My husband asked him as he was going to another table if they had dessert wines. He said "we have lots of them" and just kept walking. He did not provide a dessert menu and my husband had to ask again for a dessert wine menu. We watched him provide excellent service to his other tables while continuing to ignore ours. Keep in mind, the restaurant was not full. The food was very good and very expensive (we expected). Some of the charges were ridiculous such as someone at our table ordered a $20 cocktail and they charged $1.00 for the ice cube (we did not request a special ice cube). This celebration turned into a downer of a night for all of us. Next year we will just go back to a steakhouse where the service is always much better.

Yelp
Christmas Eve night. We arrived 15 minutes before or reservation time. Hostess said, "We were just talking about you. Hurry up and order because we're going to get slammed soon." Are you kidding? Everyone (5) was taken aback and insulted by that directive. Two of us ordered the Caesar salad. We'd never seen a Caesar that pathetic. What a waste of money. Three leaves of Romaine lettuce laid out on a plate with some cheese slivers and a crostini. I'm OK with creativity but this took no prep and was paltry. Pork chop, Filet mignon, Sea bass were good. When we were finished with the meal, three of us went to the restroom. The odor in the restroom hallway was nauseating. I'm glad I didn't go before I'd finished eating! it reminded me of the stretch of Green Oaks Blvd in Arlington that is across from the Fort Worth sewage treatment plant. Although it had been a few years since we'd been to Ferrari's we always enjoyed it. We are not going back which is a shame.

Yelp
Couldn't resist returning! Brought my family here to celebrate my full time offer out of college. Once again, a show stopping experience! My parents LOVED it! We got calamari appetizer (asked for it to calamari only) and it is like $16 but it's double a normal portion that's like $10 elsewhere and it was perfectly cooked !!! With this amazing green, white sauce. I loved my pollo finanzeria, mom's shrimp scampi FINISHED TABLESIDE, dad's salmon and sister's gnocchi Della mama. I would recommend thiS place a million times over

Yelp
First time diners here and the experience was great! The owners greeted you at the door and were working throughout the room. Great Italian fare!!

Yelp
We had a business dinner here and it was a pretty good sized group (+16). They were super hosts and the service was outstanding for the entire dinner. Glasses were kept full and they were very unobtrusive given that there was a lot of conversation with a group this large. We had a fixed menu but it was great all around from the appetizers to the main course and dessert. I would definitely recommend Ferraris regardless of the size of your party based on this experience and also the other 2 times I have been there over the past few years.

Yelp
We made our first trip to Ferrari's last night. It was outstanding. The food was excellent, and our service by Arturo was superb. We will go back. Arturo recommended the Cioppino, and he was spot on. It was loaded with outstanding seafood.

Yelp
Place is incredible and clearly one of my favorite restaurants in the world! The owners are onsite every day as well.
