My husband was first introduced to Ferrari's when they had a location close to our home. He took me once, and from that moment we were hooked. The food was absolutely phenomenal. One evening we showed up for dinner only to discover, to our horror, that the location near us had closed. Thankfully, not all was lost because Ferrari's still had their Grapevine restaurant.
Since they are closed on Sundays, it took us a little while to finally make the trip, but it was well worth the wait. We were not disappointed. At this location we had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his wife, which took our experience to an entirely new level. I didn't think it could get better than what we had already enjoyed, but I was very wrong. They were so kind and genuinely engaged with us, listening to my husband share stories about our many trips to Italy. We even swapped favorite destinations, and the owner told us a bit about where he was from and that one of his sons was either in Italy or heading there soon. That personal connection made me want to support this establishment even more.
Although we had a wonderful waiter serving our table, the owner himself came over to prepare the Scampi alle Fiamme tableside, which was such a special touch. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was warm and authentic, and the level of service rivaled what we've experienced in Italy.
Please go visit Ferrari's. They made our evening unforgettable, and I can't recommend them highly enough.
