A most lovely inn with the best service. I decided to upgrade our room at the last minute. The best decision ever! The room was so spacious, warmed by a beautiful fireplace, with a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival, and THE best bed. Stephanie was so lovely upon check in and check out - even allowing a later check out. I cannot say enough good things about this Inn. I will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn over the weekend, and it was a lovely time! From pre-arrival communication experience to being on site, staff were professional and friendly and fast responsive. The rooms and in room amenities were adorable and very clean. The location is very charming with several wineries within walking distance. The Nella Kitchen on site restaurant atmosphere was also lovely. We rented e-bikes from across the street and e-biked the wine country down to Solvang. Great weekend getaway to unplug and relax.

My sister and I stayed at the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn on Friday and Saturday (July 24th and the 25th) as we were attending my nieces wedding that just happened to also be at the Fess Parker Winery. To say that the wedding was beautiful and joyous would be an understatement as my niece and new nephew in law beamed as they took their vows. My niece especially was radiant!!! About the Inn ... ||Easy a 7 star property and I have traveled extensively for work an have had the privilege to stay at many 5+ star properties around the globe. Fess Parker Wine Country Inn does not disappoint from the moment you drive up to the property. Charming doesn't begin to do it justice, it's beautiful, the front desk staff is courteous and welcoming. No detail is overlooked from the quality of the bedding and linen's to the décor and the bathroom amenities. Thank you for the steamer in the room, I was on "dress" duty. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the pool and adjacent outdoor "living room" a great place for a swim our lounging with a good book. The restaurant is exquisite and the bar lively (Go Dodger's!). Cannot wait to return, I highly recommend this property.

My husband and I were fortunate enough to stay at the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn for our wedding weekend. The experience was unforgettable and uniquely beautiful through their amazing hospitality and service. My husband and I were left a wonderful personalized note with complimentary beer from Third Window Brewery and wine from Fess Parker Winery. We appreciated the attention to detail and it was the little things that really stood out to us, making us feel warm and at home. We give our love and thanks to the Parkers for treating us like family and helping our wedding become truly magical :)

Our room, the appointments and the staff were all above and beyond our already high expectations. We started out every moring with the incredible complimentary brunch and/or a workout in the gym, and often ended the day gathered with friends in the lounge. It's located in the middle of town, so everything was walking distance, with the main Fess Parker winery only a 10 minute drive away. It was a truly exquisite getaway, and we are looking forward to returning.

We are local but love to do overnights in the Valley. Fess Parker Wine Country Inn is the perfect choice for any length of stay! Location is a 10! Walking distance to endless tasting rooms and great dining. Rooms are amazing - decor is so good and they are impeccably clean which means a lot to me! Service is on point with a cute little self-serve breakfast room in the morning. Definitely a hotel on repeat for us!!

Fantastic place to stay when visiting Santa Barbara County wine country. The room we had was absolutely perfect, very roomy and an extremely comfortable bed...staff was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend and look forward to my next stay.

Wonderful property! Very cute little downtown area, everything is walkable and the rooms are fabulous! This destination is a must for either a nice little weekend getaway or if you do as I did, a nice stop for your California road trip from Southern to Northern California. You will not regret making the decision to stay here. Service was excellent, dining was great, and there is plenty to do, and plenty of wine to drink!

The Inn is like home - warm, welcoming and the perfect place to be. This time we stayed in January and were thrilled to find we love it just as much in the rain cold as we do in the sunshine. The Inn and the town are charming year- round. The staff truly makes this place special. Everyone is consistently warm and welcoming - from the front desk, to housekeeping, to Lonnie at breakfast. It feels like coming home every time we arrive.

Charming, upscale boutique hotel tucked nicely in the middle of the Main Street in Los Olivos. Each room is a suite and exquisitely decorated. Either you've got a view of the olive tree-lined streets or the courtyard. Didn't dine there, but had the inclusive breakfast before checkout which was just as impressive. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, I'd recommend this spot.

Within an hour of checking into our spacious room, a huge insect was crawling on me in the bed. My husband found another one in the bathroom shortly after. As someone with a phobia, I was absolutely horrified. When we complained, the staff didn't care. Their solution? A shrug and the excuse that "it's the countryside." Nobody came to look. Nobody apologized. They just moved us and considered the problem solved. The lack of professionalism is breathtaking. I stay in this area all the time and have never experienced this at other hotels. The fact that they try to pass this off as normal is insulting. I spent the entire night anxious and unable to sleep. Do not waste your money here. The management has shown they have no interest in providing a clean, safe, or comfortable experience.

The hotel was nice, rooms were spacious, bathroom lovely but for the price is a bit much for that quality. I hv stayed in far better hotels for reasonable rates. Breakfast too was not too impressive. However Nella was a great experience.

Just spent 2 nights feeling spoiled at this lovely Inn. The rooms are well appointed with very comfortable beds. The property is peaceful. The staff are friendly and very responsive to your needs without being obtrusive. Will definitely be back again.

Not to be too picky and complaining , but for $700 a night I expected that I could have more than 2 coffee pods a day. They charge $2 a pod for more than 2, are you kidding? The turndown service with peanut brittle was just as cooky, the size of a nickle wrapped in celephane Room was neat and comfortable , continental breakfast was adequate, just seemed like not the bang for the buck

Lovely hotel on the main drag in Los Olivos. The rooms are very large and luxurious and well appointed. I didn't hear any noise from the street and while it was incredibly hot outside the two air systems in my room kept it more than comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is spectacular. And a bottle of very good wine is placed in every room. I can't wait to come back

Totally awesome boutique hotel, located in the center of town with short walking distance to many restaurants and shops... plenty of free parking... we stayed in suite 9 on the corner... extremely quiet, roomy, comfortable, and cozy with a fireplace, 56" TV, and wet bar... very comfortable bed, excellent linens and towels... staff goes out of their way to accommodate your every need... we will definitely stay at Fess Parker again... well worth the price... thank you...

This winery is amazing! Delicious wine and the view is beautiful! So much so we joined! I highly recommend.

We added this winery to our list because it has such a following and reputation and it is so deep into the hills, our phones lost service and GPS didn't work! When we got there late to our tasting they said, don't worry, we got you! We were seated on a nicely shaded patio in cushioned seats and had a lovely server tend to our tasting. When she learned I was a teacher on spring break, she said my tasting was complimentary! I love any place that values it's educators and recognizes us as essential workers!! The wine tasting was a delightful experience and we left with a few bottles, my favorite being the Pinot Noir. My husband even found an adult sized coon cap which he couldn't find at Disneyland! A win for him!

So we decided to stay here on the way back from Cambria on a whim. We've always wanted to check it out so we spontaneously made a reservation the day before and did it (after I got a room under $500). This is not an inexpensive Inn but you get what you pay for. The service is top notch. We loved our room. It was perfect and had an awesome fireplace. Not some cheesy stove or Faux fireplace. The decor was solid as well. Nice very upscale restaurant in the lobby for lunch or dinner. Beautiful outdoor areas for sitting and relaxing. While we didn't have one of the larger fancier rooms I can't imagine wanting or needing one. Ours was perfect and cozy. Breakfast which was included was underwhelming but still very solid coffee and OJ which tasted fresh squeezed which is a plus. An assortment of baked goods (but not many) fruit, yogurt and granola as well as bagels, bread for toast and a couple of quiches. They did the trick and kept you from getting too full. I am also grateful that I sent an email inquiry re an early checkin if available and we were able to check in at 12:30! That is a huge plus for me. Very grateful. The manager was nice enough to sincerely inquire about our stay. Very professional. The room also came with an assortment of coffee and filtered water. I'm addition we received two wine tastings to their winery which was a beauty mile country road away and another two free tastings a block away at Epiphany which both winery selections were excellent. Last but not least was a bottle of wine with the room. When you add all these items up we saved about $120. If I could duplicate this again I will be back even if it's over $500. Bear in mind in was a Monday. Thanks to FP and their staff.

DO NOT STAY HERE! They book rooms which are unavailable. I drove three hours here only to find out the room which was confirmed by them was unavailable. I confirmed two beds and was forced to sleep on a couch because the only room available had only one bed. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!

What a treat! My wife and I stayed here in beautiful room number 8- like a palace, the suite of the Inn. The bed was soft, the two fire places blazed at the flip of a switch and the all the couches and chairs were so comfortable. My wife loved the sauna tub, not sure the type, but it had a hundred little air holes at the bottom that blew in the air to make the sauna effect. It was great, although I didn't go in. I preferred the ridiculous shower with the wall mounted shower heads at waist and chest height- How awesome, with the rain shower head too. We walked around and drank wine and had a great dinner. We ended our visit with a delicious breakfast from the greek on site restaurant. It was truly a tasty eggs benedict! The staff were great and our stay was the best of our trip up the coast- another family tradition coming on at this place!

We stayed here for our "mini-moon". I had never been to Los Olivos. It's a cute, little town in the middle of Santa Barbara wine county. Very peaceful and quaint. The hotel was definitely the highlight -- a bit understated luxury in the midst of a simple community. Rooms are pretty and spacious. Bathrooms are also a nice size, which I appreciated. The hotel gave us a nice bottle of wine upon checkin which was generous and a nice gesture. The grounds are well maintained, but quite small. It is a boutique hotel after all. The only reason for reducing a star (I went back and forth about it) is because I do feel their pricing is a bit excessive. Final note, the restaurant downstairs is fantastic! We had the best brunch!

We had our daughter's wedding reception at the garden and terrace area of the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn. It was a beautiful and private area that was well lighted as the sun set. The garden area was perfect for a little dancing and fun after dinner. As you can see in the picture, the terrace was stunning for our daughter's small wedding. Amanda was very responsive to our questions regarding vendors such as the florist, bakery, photographer, etc. and getting the details for our date and time reserved. It was a lovely evening at such a perfect venue.

I have had the great opportunity of working at this property with clients on their wedding weekends, and recently stayed there myself as a guest. It is a true wine country experience, and lands you in the middle of Los Olivos for the perfect guest experience. One of my top recommendations in the area!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn & Spa. As the saying goes...you get what you pay for. This is especially true with this Fess Parker! It is not cheap, but you get a very nice experience. My room had a fireplace, which was amazing and went well as it was cold and rainy when I visited. The room was spacious, comfortable, and upscale. The customer service was really good as well. The FP Wine Country is located in a place where you can walk to the nearby shopping, which is an added benefit.

We then had the most wonderful time at Fess Parker in the Parker suite, its spa like bathroom with a hydromax jacuzzi tub, multi jet shower with Molten Brown products and 50" flat screen tv in the bathroom made it 5 star. Separate fireplaces in living room and master bedroom with direct view of the salt water private infinity pool were so relaxing. The bear and star restaurant had all home grown organic food from their own farm. Everyone was attentive and service was impeccable and all are needs were met promptly with amazing attitudes. We will be back!! Thanks again Austyn and Miguel at the front desk!! We'll be back!!

Auberge it's coming to Los Olivos soon !!! So The days of this "Hotel" are number they charged you like a five star resort but you get the same service that you get at a cheap motel !! No mini Bar, no room service, the restaurant sucks, They don't clean the rooms and in morning you can't have a nice breakfast??? This place is a joke !!

Great stay and amazing location. When we checked in the staff were nice. The room had a bottle of wine with a personal note. The room we checked into the toilet was leaking. We informed front desk and they immediately moved us to another room. Amenities they have a small gym and heated pool. Grounds were well taken care of. The restaurant on site was closed the first day but opened the next day. No spa on site or breakfast. The only reason for 5 stars is due to the communication on activities and reservations. It was hard to find someone who knew all the details. Will return back.

A FANTASTIC stay again!!! We went this past Sunday thru Tuesday for my wife's birthday (this is her fav place to go). We got a suite, and swam in the salt water pool - AMAZING! The staff is fantastic!! Krystal texted us the day we were arriving to ask what time we would be there, and Alex (manager) also arranged to get a GORGEOUS arrangement of flowers in the room!! The whole hotel is amazing and the rooms are fabulous!! Not inexpensive, but to us it is worth it!!

The Best of the Best! The Food is FANTASTIC! The Fess Parker Ranch Wagyu beef is amazing, the $100 per 4oz steak is worth that per oz., Service is great, I LOVE the decor, the accommodations at the Inn aren't bad (Thank You for the bottle of wine), which reminds me the Fess Parker wine and winery ain't so bad either. THANK YOU!

Fess Parker is a sophisticated boutique hotel in the small town of Los Olivos. It only has about 19 rooms and has a bit of a bed and breakfast feel to it. There is a nice restaurant, Bear and Star, located on the first floor where complimentary breakfast is provided for guests. Upon check in, we were given vouchers to complimentary wine tastings at a few local wineries and tasting rooms. That was an nice unexpected gift. Our room was comfortable and large. It included a complimentary bottle of Pinot noir. Our stay was relaxing and peaceful.

This is a challenging Review, but feel compelled to share due to the price tag of this hotel. Wish I could give it a 3.5 star overall, but let me explain.... I give it a 5-stars for location. After that, it's a 4-star experience, or less. Due to it's monopoly for the only true hotel in Los Olivos, and running water/ restrooms, it's almost critical to stay here if you plan on posting up in this town for a day or more. You walk out the door and all the tasting rooms and restaurants are right there. The design and interior decor of the overall facility is very nice, 4 star. The service and overall quality of the experience , including the Bear Star restaurant, is more in line with 3-star. Here are some gripes I had that shouldn't come with a $500-600/night room (Romance package, mind you): - The Champagne they left us for the Romance package was turned. Wasnt that it was just OK, it was raisin laden. Let's just say that didnt lead me to seek out going to Fess parker and spend my money on their wines ( I already knew better to be honest). - Our friends who joined us Friday were not able to check in until after 3pm - when they checked out the next day, they could not get a late check out after 11am. Pretty weak. - The Bear Star restaurant on-site wasn't very good, compared to other restaurants. The breakfast server was cool, but the host/hostesses all had zero personality as if nobody there knows how to smile or greet patrons/hotel guests. I know people are laid back in the valley , but a little personality (not a robot) greeting you would be nice. Overall it is a 4-star experience, with potential to be 5-star, but bordering on getting a 3-star review.

Our recent experience at the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn and Spa made us Los Love-os Los Olivos! My sweet husband and I decided to take a nine day trip via Amtrak to lots of our favorite cities along the coast. We added Santa Barbara wine country as a last minute bit of inspiration, having never been to Santa Barbara before. Flying blind, I signed us up for the "Taste Los Olivos" package at the Fess Parker. It included two nights in a lovely room on the spa side of the street - right next to the pool, dinner for two at Petros, a fifty dollar gift card for the Los Olivos Cafe, and complimentary wine tastings at most of the tasting rooms in Los Olivos. When I bought it I didn't have any idea what a truly wonderful package, both in value and quality, I had selected. Our priorities as travelers are primarily food and beverage. The two restaurants were outstanding! Petros converted us into Greek food fans. Their dips were flavorful and not too heavy to enjoy before the meal. I had the rack of lamb, which when first brought to the table was blood rare, instead of medium rare as ordered. The server immediately returned it to the kitchen and returned shortly with the most perfectly cooked lamb I've ever had, including Canlis in Seattle. As part of the package, each course includes a half glass of wine. The pour is generous, but you can add additional glasses if you wish to pay. The wine list features a variety of wines from the area, including but not exclusive to their own winery. I was most apprehensive about the room. The website doesn't offer a lot of details and other yelpers had mentioned it was a bit dated. It was a delight to find a modern room with a king sized bed, complimentary wi-fi, a gas fireplace, a vanity / wet-bar, and a bathroom that separated the shower and toilet from the tub and sink with a pocket door. There were ample towels, glassware, including water and wine glasses, and a corkscrew! There is a lovely little pool and hot tub enclosed from the street and neighboring Los Olivos Cafe that provided a relaxing respite after strenuous wine tasting along the boulevard. The water was perfect, and the pool area was pretty mellow. The spa is located there as well, and next time I may add an appointment to our visit. We loved our stay so much that we added an extra day to our trip before heading home to Seattle from the Santa Barbara airport. Since we've been home we enjoy pouring red wine into deep glasses and reflecting on a beautiful picture of the pool as the sun goes down.

Katie waited on us and she did wonderful job. Wines are better than some locals give them credit for. Wide open lawn perfect for pinicing.

A star for each $75 we spent for the room! Top notch, of course. Great service. Tiny but cool infinity pool. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, classic room with nice touches, like books! My first room ever with central air, so the temperature was constant (usually the air is on until it is cold, then turned off until it is hot). The bathroom had that recently cleaned bleach smell that a German housekeeper finds as sweet as a rose.

I visited- did not stay the night. It looks beautiful and its in the heart of Los Olivos, which immediately endears me to it. We went for some appetizers at the restaurant as a break from wine tasting and were not disappointed. Service was great and the views were beautiful. The place is stunning and has a ton of charm. The only drawback would be the price. its is $$$$$. If you're in Los Olivos, its worth stopping by here for a snack and to take in the charm.

Beautiful Inn-friendly & courteous staff, clean & well decorated room next to the pool. Comfy luxurious linens, bathtub & shower were relaxing. Great personal touches like the note & even a complimentary bottle of wine for my boyfriends birthday! Food at Petros was wonderful & definitely worth a try at least once. We enjoyed the local wine tasting rooms and glad our room was only steps away. Drawbacks: kinda pricey, our room door was noticeably dirty (didn't make a great first impression), the bed was too soft for us & the air con blew right over our bed making it hot and cold throughout the night. But they gave us a discount at checkout so I appreciated that. Finally, to our disappointment my boyfriend experienced racism from another guest. I guess she didn't know Mexican American men who offer to pour a woman's coffee at a coffee station are gentleman not staff, or out to hurt them! Don't let stupid people detour you-Fess Parker Wine Country Inn & Spa is a treat.

My husband and I fell in love with Los Olivos many years ago. After staying in Santa Barbara several times, we decided to stay in town at Fess Parker. Best decision ever! This is our second stay and both suites (Parker & Ephiany) have been beautiful and luxurious. Staff is fantastic and service impeccable. Food is top quality, and parking is no problem. Will continue to return and highly recommend!

A great weekend retreat and the perfect place for wine tasting. The rooms were beautiful, big and luxurious and the staff was very accommodating. If you are going to the wineries it's in the perfect location. If you are going to do the tasting rooms here in town -it's the place to lodge . The complimentary breakfasts make for an added benefit. Will definitely return.

I am a writer who travels a great deal and lives in Italy for some time each year. So the Covid nightmare has meant no travel or restaurants for the last six months. But this last weekend, my wife and I trusted our memory of how great the Fess Parker Wine Country Inn is in Los Olivos. And ventured back. And it was AMAZING, AGAIN. We felt safe, we felt the staff could not have been more attentive, the location is 100% the best, and now with SY Kitchen's Nella restaurant available in the garden...it was memorable to the max. Treat yourself, trust yourself, and make a visit. You will go home, smiling. I promise you!

This suite is SO romantic and gorgeous The bed is perfect and the fireplace in the room is awesome. This is our second time here and the staff, room, food and service is amazing. Cant find one single thing that could have been done better. You can literally walk outside and wine taste at a large variety of street wineries and 2 miles from some of the most beautiful winieries "Demetria" Ask for the Epiphany suite!

I am not happy posting this review. This is my third trip since sep 2018 to this hotel. The last 2 were great. However third time is not the charm. First the room I really like was occupied or I would have booked it. I thought you know for a real treat we will get larger room the Marcella suit. I have BIG issues with thisSUITE. Number 1 You need a door to separate the rooms. Number 2 the room description on the web site should specify or I would have not booked it. Number 3 all night a fan living room area blows and the thermostat and fan is turned off kits very annoying and makes it hard to sleep. Number 4 no DVD player in bedroom but in living area and we brought our computer but all the dvds are blue ray and not compatible with our computer. I really wanted to enjoy my stay but I haven't worst part I prepaid and I am stuck staying the last night or I would just go home. It will be a long time before I come back here. Also numer5 on the website it states NO DOGS ALLOWED at this time yet when I checked in someone with a dog checked into the hotel and I can hear a dog barking as well.VERY disappointed

We would not stay here again. They do not offer cleaning of the rooms or replenishment of towels unless you ask for it. For the prices they are charging, this is outrageous. The Keurig coffee maker in the room did not work and the wine tasting at Epiphany is complimentary for the standard wine tasting only. The other tasting is $15, which we had to pay for. For the $495 per night, that tasting should have been included as well. A lot of little things that were not up to our expectations. We will not stay here again.

My group and I had such a fantastic time at the Fess Parker Spa. I was in charge of booking spa day for a bachelorette weekend and quickly realized the options were very limited in the Los Olivos area. Thankfully, I discovered Fess Parker and the amazing Trish. Working with her to coordinate appointments for 10 girls was painless and stress free. Everyone enjoyed their massages and facials and we were permitted to use their gorgeous pool area while we waited for others to finish up. We also had breakfast from their restaurant Petros which was delicious and delivered poolside. Thank you to Trish and everyone at Fess Parker for making our experience so wonderful!

This is a lovely $250/night hotel that they charge you $650/night for. The grounds are cute, but our group with four rooms were split up on different sides of the street. There is no view or connection with their winery. Service at the restaurant and bar was terribly slow (45 mins to get breakfast after we ordered). But the food was excellent. The rooms are large but nothing special. Our bed had divots in the mattress which made it less than comfortable. If you want to be IN the town, this is a good albeit ridiculously overpriced option. But know the town closes up at 7pm. So why bother? Hopefully in time AirBnb competition will force this hotel to either up its game or lower its prices.

This hotel and winery is truly a gem hidden in Los Olivos. A first rate world class experience from the moment you book your reservation. The staff is just awesome. They are extremely warm , kind , helpful to almost any request that one may have. Come to this place thirsty for good wine and Hungry for great food. Their winery is just a 10 min ride away and the compound is just great. It felt as heaven on earth. My compliments to the management and to all the amazing staff to make this a memorable and amazing experience. Thank you.

We were received a beautiful guest room. The front desk was extremely warm on arrival and departure. Parking here was so easy. The housekeeping ladies at turndown and daily service were very sweet. Really cute turndown experience. We received complimentary breakfast on Sunday with the guest room and our server was excellent. Constantly ensuring our coffee cups were full. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Beautiful facility, clean rooms, delicious restaurant, and most importantly, very accommodating staff. The front desk made excellent recommendations for wineries and even gave us complimentary vouchers to use. My husband left his glasses there after check out and they were nice enough to ship it to us at no cost. Would definitely stay here again.

the fess parker inn is by far my favorite place to stay when in town. the room is pretty big and so beautiful. check-in was a breeze. upon entering our room there was a complimentary bottle of wine and a cheese platter for us. what a lovely surprise! there's an outdoor pool and plenty of seating with a fireplace and a cute succulent wall. have dinner or cocktails at the bear & the star. it's located at the inn. the food is fantastic!

If you are looking for a romantic place to spend with your significant other...this is the place. The staff is absolutely amazing. Very professional and polite. The rooms are beautiful. Very modern but has the elegant and feeling of a beautiful home...and not a hotel room. The pool is also a must. The spa is even better. The spa staff is worth what you pay for. We enjoyed the morning spa treatment. The breakfast is a 10 plus. I could not believe the freshness; freshly squeezed orange juice, delicious coffee and amazing tasting food. Another benefit of staying at this resort, is free wine tasting at their own vineyard. Absolutely a must! You can't beat the tranquil scenery and beautiful Vineyard countryside. We have never been wine tasting. Very friendly and low key. Beautiful shops in the area. Town is active from 11am to 5pm. Weekends I'm sure is very popular.

Wonderful experience. Received an email from The Fess Parker team welcoming us as we were driving to Los Olivios. If I had any special requests I am sure that this would have been taken care of. Very accommodating staff. Stayed in Room 21 on second floor across the street but with great access to the heated pool. Loved the location with adjacent parking lot. Pool is heated and easy to slide into after a day of wine tasting. Marisa was there to light the fire place, turn on the music and give us fresh towels. Thanks Marisa! Breakfast included which is a great benefit. Short walk across the street to fine dining at the bear and star. This is not a pancake house with gourmet breakfast choices. I had the oatmeal, smoked wagyu hash and huevos rancheros, all was excellent. Hope to go back again soon.

We had a wonderful experience at Fess Parker Inn! We were initially booked at the cabins, but following check in we decided to partake in Happy Hour at the hotel. The GM visited our table and asked if we were staying, and we explained we were booked at the cabin, but the hotel was our first choice (they were full when we booked). The GM was so hospitable. He explained that while the cabin's were amazing, the hotel provided a different, more upscale experience. He had a room open and offered to show it to us. He went as far as to tell us to check out the cabin as well and decide at our leisure. Well the hotel was amazing, so we changed plans, and moved over. The hotel was luxurious, pool was awesome, the food at the restaurant was amazing, and the service overall was top notch. We will absolutely be back.

This inn exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to go back. The staff, from the welcoming text message received a few hours prior to our arrival, to the call letting us know they would be sending on a few items we left in a drawer, offered personal, warm service. Each connection with a staff member was genuine and kind. We were in Room 4, overlooking Grand Avenue, and the room is HUGE. It's beautifully appointed, with an oh-so-comfortbale king bed, ceiling fan, fireplace, books, magazines, large TV, desk, chairs, bar area, large bathroom with a large shower, cold water in the fridge, lots of towels, shutters on the windows to let in light - or keep it out. The turn down service included a piece of peanut brittle. Our welcome included mini-cupcakes and a birthday note for my husband. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable, convenient, I can't think of a single thing that was overlooked. We splurged for my husband's birthday trip and felt it was worth every penny. We loved the full, included, breakfast at Bear and Star, as well as a memorable dinner there. Los Olivos is a lovely town, and it was special to be there over night. So quiet! We look forward to returning again in the next year or so. Be sure to use the free tasting coupons down the street at Epiphany, too.
