Business need to stop doing this practice of locking one side of a business entry! This is an ADA violation period. I should not need to go in through the exit of a store and still have to go around all shopping turn styles. This is a huge obstacle with people with disabilities. I should not need to have a maze to be able to shop during your posted business hours. And technically by having one entrance locked it is technically a fire marshal code violation too? Businesses need to keep an open flow of their stores during business hours while customers are inside.

I love this grocery store. Great weekly ads with great deals. Super friendly and helpful staff. The management staff are super hands on and visible. They are approachable and eager to help customers. Bakery department does great cake decorating at a reasonable price. The marble cake is a family favorite. If you haven't stopped into Festival Foods yet, you are missing out.

Festival has some unique options which is why I like to go there from time to time but the prices are too high for it to be my all the time grocery store. The bakery, nut/trail mix, and produce sections were wonderful. I like how the small carts has hooks on the back for grocery bags.

As usual Festival has very clean stores, this one being no exception. Very nice in store dining options too! The girl who helped me at the Caribou Coffee kiosk was also very nice, don’t remember her name but she was working around 9AM 3/29/2022

Great experience. They had a special Veterans Day giveaway. Everything was easy to find and employees were super friendly. Will be back!

First, some positives-this store is very well maintained and very clean. The customer service is exceptional compared to many other places. If I'm waiting in line, an employee will quickly step in and call me over. They also automatically scan coupons, which is nice if you forget them. The employees are always very friendly! As for the negatives, I find they have a lack of selection compared to other stores, and their prices seem higher than a lot of other stores, especially their milk. It's hard not to like this store because of the exceptional service but at the same time I don't like to go here due to the lack of variety and higher prices. I also don't find any plant based foods here as I'm vegan but I can find this at Pick N Save. I think it's only worth shopping if you don't need a lot of items and it's a buy 2 get one free kind of deal which I've seen here...better off at Pick N Save or Aldi.

I love festival foods. It one of the Milwaukee stores that are designed very roomy unlike pick n saves. I cannot say enough about the wonderful workers there. They are super friendly, always smiling, always asking if I need help finding something when I appear to be looking around. I was there 3 days ago, I was so impressed at watching many of the workers like, for one instance stocking the best looking fruit so neatly and gently. I had to ask her first, is this the organic fruit section. The beautiful fruit they had. I was passing by the liquor store area, I saw an older woman stocking miniature bottles of liquor in these small compartments and she made them perfectly in sync. They were perfectly aligned....I complemented her and she was very thankful. Some people may think I have too much time on my hands saying all this stuff, actually I dont I appreciate stores like these that also appreciate their shoppers. Keep up the great work festival foods and managers....

Oreo Whoopie Pie: Truth be told I've never eaten a "Whoopie Pie" (WP) before. I was not even sure exactly what a WP was, but I knew they looked good. For those of you that like myself are new to this dessert, it is a baked good that originated in the New England region of the US. Some consider the dessert to be a pie, while others classify it as a cake, cookie, or sandwich. They are typically made with two round/mound shaped pieces of chocolate cake with a sweet frosting or cream filling sandwiched between them. The one I have here is from the bakery at a local Festival Foods. It had the traditional chocolate cake pieces, but it also had a layer of vanilla frosting on top with Oreo crumbles and a cookies & creme filling (whipped cream-like) sandwiched between. I'm so glad I finally snagged one of these desserts. I found the cake pieces to be soft, moist, and chocolatey. What helped take this WP up a notch was the vanilla frosting/icing on top that acted as a sugary shell. In my opinion (debate it all you want) WP should be classified as a cake sandwich (if such a term exists). They're not really pie or cookie like (though mine did have cookie crumbles). Whatever you call them, they're Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews

Yelp
Been here a few times and am looking for an alternative to Kroger Megalopoly. Such a small produce selection at Festival, I couldn't even fulfill my recipe list. Prices around the store were just as sky high as everywhere else. Apparently Yelpers are reallly into this place's baked goods, but I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed, ain't nuthin' in this world for free! Festival is just alright.

Yelp
I'm partial to festival foods since they came to town so when I found myself having lunch a block away I would stop and get a couple things. The layout of each store is basically the same as you wrap around the store it's deli, bakery, produce, meats and dairy. What gets me is all the inside isles have no uniformity from store to store so I was wondering the store not finding my items in the same spots as my store. The stores don't carry the same items either so I couldn't get a couple items that I wanted. The employees were very friendly and helped find an item. This store is much nicer than my store but it's the newest in the area with a nice wraparound deli, wraparound bakery, Coffey stand with a sit down booth area. Walmart has the same problem because you can stop at anyone across the country and the isles have no uniformity but it's all good.

Yelp
I generally like Festival Foods, and this one is better than most. Clean, bright, good selection of Midwest America mainstream groceries, very light on Asian or South of the border ingredients and foodstuffs. The baked goods are good, I like the breads they bake here though they never have proper French baguettes. Not a great variety of produce but what they do have is fresh and well priced. Like all supermarkets there aren't enough human cashiers, "self-checkout" is just wrong. If you're going to make me an employee, give me some training, pay (or at least a discount), and benefits. Plus, "self-checkout" seems to imply I'm conceited and look in the mirror too much. There's usually a good selection of prepared meals that I can heat and eat for days I don't feel like cooking.

Yelp
Buttercream Filled Jumbo Cupcake: I've been scoping out this cupcake up at one of my favorite local supermarket bakeries, Festival Foods, for almost two years now (no joke)! The cupcakes in the bakery there are massive (if you look in one photo it takes up my entire hand) and the employee actually had difficulty fitting it into a container. I normally go for vanilla over chocolate cupcakes, but I decided to make an exception since this looked and sounded like a delicious cupcake. I had no idea what to expect with this cupcake as all of the filling was concealed. Just a hunch, but I got the impression they were going for a Hostess Cupcake look. I thought the chocolate cupcake itself was good, but nothing special. It wasn't dry, but it didn't have the level of moistness I prefer either. The filling was almost entirely kept to the top of the cupcake. It was a vanilla flavored filling hidden beneath a thin chocolate coating. The chocolate coating was relatively soft and was easy to cut through. There was also just the scantest amount of filling in the center of the cupcake itself (even less than the filling in those pop-up flavors from Nothing Bundt Cakes). I feel that calling this a "Buttercream Filled" cupcake is a little misleading as it's really just a buttercream topped (albeit a ton of it) cupcake. It's easily the weakest of the jumbo cupcakes I've had from Festival Foods, but I was still impressed by this monster of a cupcake. Doughboy approved 1. Peanut Butter Cup Jumbo Cupcake 2. OREO Jumbo Cupcake 3. Buttercream Filled Jumbo Cupcake Doughboy_Food_Reviews

Yelp
First time trying out festival foods on 27 Street. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by someone that asked me if I brought any of my own bags? He stated that I would save five cents per bag. The store, and the deli were impeccable! Every cashier was open and was extremely nice. Nice job festival definitely returning for all my needs.

Yelp
No fresh meat cut by real butchers , terrible customer service . Maybe a good place for pantry items

Yelp
This used to be the only store we shopped at. But then three out of four weeks that we went days after we purchased bread from the bakery, it started molding. The next time we bought apples in a bag and the ones in the middle were rotting they were out of a lot of our produce, last time I bought ham slices and as soon as I opened them they smelled and they were slimy. The manager did tell me I could bring them back but that wasn't the point. they used to be fantastic, but they have really gone downhill. I still like the shaved ham and rolls.

Yelp
People have been telling me about their great weekly deals! This week it was pork shoulder for .75/,lb. I got two roasts for under $5.00! It's in the old Target next to Ashley. The place is nice and bright and clean. It reminded me a bit of Cermak. It has a deli counter right in front of the store as well as ready made goods. Behind the baked items are the veggies and meat counter. Each aisle has a funny saying on its sign. You don't have to clip coupons. The cashier made sure to scan the ad for us. We ended up spending $30 and had a lot of food. We plan on coming back to do weekly shopping.

Yelp
Festival is cute... great deli. I wouldn't go here for everything on your list, but you can catch some deals & steals! Here's what's up though... the self checkout lanes are TRASH! Someone needs to reprogram them because they are WAY too sensitive. I was trying to scan a can of soup and that kiosk went all Fort Knox. It was so annoying and I lost my cool. I'm a grown ass man and I went FULL Karen on poor Lisa... bless her heart... she was out there doing the Lord's work and I laid in to her like she she invented grocery stores and was solely to blame for my first-world benign inconvenience. That lovely woman was legit trying to help me and I was such a jerk. I apologized to her before we left and she was so polite and gracious. If she didn't value her employment so much, she probably should've slapped me. Anyway, Festival is lovely... but those self checkouts are not your destiny, child... Say hi to Lisa... she's wonderful!

Yelp
Nice selection, easy to navigate, friendly and helpful staff! Awesome deli and take out selections!
