We got here pretty late (around 9), and they were still willing to serve our big group. We got the chicken & waffles which did not disappoint, it tasted great! Our waitress was really friendly & was very accommodating to our table. Highly recommend stopping here!

Google
Stopped by here for a late lunch. Food was some of the best we've had in Nashville! Server was nice and accommodating to my wife's food allergy. Cool set up inside. Good music.

Stopped in for a little brunch before going to the Titan’s game. I LOVE me some chicken and waffles on game day. When we arrived, the place was almost empty. The staff was really welcoming and friendly even though they were working on Christmas Eve. Our server was fast and friendly and kept my coffee hot and full. The Chicken and Waffles was delicious. It was a different presentation having the chicken come as nuggets. They were all white meat chunks and seasoned with a little kick. Perfect with the sweetness of the maple syrup. The bacon was excellent and the waffles were a little crispy on the outside… so perfect. The only drawback was that the eggs I ordered as over medium were a little too done. No biggie though, this was a GREAT way to head to the game! I would absolutely recommend FGL House for breakfast/brunch.

We had a table of 8, without a reservation and were able to be seated immediately. We had great service up until the food came, then it took forever for our waiter to come and check on us. We had empty glases and clean plates so it definitely took a awhile for us to be helped and for them provide us with our check. The food was pretty good so I do recommend going here for the overall experience.

Great performers off the main strip that allows you the ability to talk, dance, and listen to live music without feeling overcrowded. Multiple floors and rooftop bar allows for multiple performers on one great night. We sat down for dinner with no reservations and no wait!

Google
Country music bar, which is not my favorite but great band and very good vocals. We had, and they were cooked right as requested, Upstairs space first come, first serve limited menu. we had an hour plus wait that ended up being 20 min. Mac and cheese needed a little flavor. Service was terrific!

Google
The food was really tasty. The pulled pork nachos was 🔥 fire. Not too crowded. Live band was nice to chill and listen to. The female bartender was rude. Overall, great place to visit while in Nashville.

Google
I loved the vibe while an artist performed on stage and the Blackberry whiskey sours were great at the bar while we waited for our table. Wait staff, hostess, and bartenders were busy yet attentive that night. Live music by Heath Bennett and good drinks made for a great date night.

Yelp
Service is okay, food was backed up for more than an hour. My kids had to wait so long, I guess that's why I never went back to this place. Mind you we came at a non busy hour too.

Yelp
Very nice on a Monday night, quick service and great live music. I am not personally a fan of having my salad also be spicy, but it was very fresh and yummy.

Yelp
Only been here once but we had an amazing time. Food was amazing, and so were the drinks! Better than other similar bars/restaurants on Broadway.

Yelp
Great food, service, and music! I had the pretzels appetizers. Friends had the burgers. The pretzels were warm and soft. Came with a mustard aioli(sp?). Pretzels and mustard were really tasty. Friends enjoyed the burgers and were pretty stuffed the rest of the evening. Hubby had a half sweet tea and half unsweetened and really enjoyed it.

Yelp
Shrimps and grits are "Meh". Order something else. I opted to drink more since what I didn't like what I'd ordered. What I did enjoy was the live band. They were playing all my fave songs! Our server was great. She dealt with our rather large group really well.

Yelp
I went after a football game. It was a long wait for a table so grabbed a seat at the bar. Was able to order quickly. There was live music. I got the chicken and waffles. It was good overall. I am always trying different ways that people prepare it. I did enjoy the food and the environment. The drinks were also good.

Yelp
Best rooftop on lower Broadway!! We really like this place, it is just a tad of the crazy but still all Nashville! Great food, great music, this place is amazing!

Yelp
We love going here each time we visit Nashville. The ambience is so great, from the music to the food and drinks!!! It's always so much fun going to FGL!!

Yelp
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. Such a large venue as well. I had a burger and beer, but everything on the menu looked good and the waitress kept our glass full.

Yelp
Stopped in one evening for drinks and appetizers. Sat in front of the stage just as a duo (guy and girl, guy's name is Kyle) were coming on. The service we got from our server was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable about the food and menu and helpful. We tried their perogies and they're actually really good! Definitely a unique preparation for them. The venue's décor is nice and they keep it orderly and clean. The band was horrible though! We asked them to play a Johnny Cash classic and she said she's never heard of it. Typical of today's pop bands that call themselves country.

Yelp
1st time in Nashville and stopped at FGL HOUSE. One of the cleanest bars on Broadway and had the nicest bathrooms. We only stopped in for a couple drinks and to hear the band. Service was Great. We had the pleasure of meeting Benji. Very sweet and very attentive. Was hoping to see him one more time before we left. Benji, your Jersey girls love you and hope to see you again next time we are in Nashville.

Yelp
I travel frequently for work, and have become accustomed to going out to dinner by myself. Nashville is one of the cities I find it difficult to go out and eat alone because many of the Broadway area restaurants are super crowded, and seem more focused on alcohol and music than dinner. FGL was a pleasant surprise. I did head to dinner really early at 5 PM to avoid the crowds, I had no problem getting a table for myself. The food was pretty good enjoyed with great music and exceptional service by Nina. The burger was nice, and the appetizer pretzel sticks also good although I do prefer a beer cheese instead of a more mustard taste cheese.

Yelp
Food is so good and reasonably priced. Great country bar in central broadway. Live music on all three floors. Get there early for dinner to get a table.

Yelp
Came here to watch a Sunday football game on the third floor bar. The TVs were blue, so we couldn't see the game well. Got the pork nachos, and they were okay, but it was a good portion you can share with someone. The service and staff are great, but it was very empty on the third floor when we came. The band was riffing and playing some funky stuff which was cool because the bar was not full once the game started. All in all, this isn't a place I'd seek out when in Nashville to watch a game since they have a band and the TVs are out of wack.

Yelp
My girlfriend wanted me to try this local favorite. She's been here before and absolutely loved it. Apparently they have a real cool rooftop, which I didn't get a chance to explore but I trust her judgement. When I walked in it was nice to see the hostess with a big smile. It wasn't that busy so I was able to get seated quickly. My waitress was attentive and came right over. I ordered the wedge salad and the wings. The food came out lightening fast and both were delicious. The wedge salad was crisp and cold which is the way I like my lettuce One thing that might bother some people is the salad was in a puddle of blue cheese, might be a little too much for some but I love it. Gave me more for my wings. Wings were juicy and seasoned well. Looks like a fun atmosphere on a busy night since they have a stage for live bands. I'll definitely be back for some food and drinks.

Yelp
Stopped by this place since every other place had a long wait. Still ended up waiting about 45 mins. Ordered the classic cheeseburger. Typical cheeseburger but still good. Live music was great. 2 less starts because the service wasn't that great.

Yelp
We stopped in for drinks and appetizers at the bar. We lucked out and were able to watch the last half of an OU game. Our bartender was pretty cool and made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the Perogies and Pretzels with Queso. Every thing was pretty good. The perogies were topped with onions, sour cream, and bacon pieces. The broth was really flavorful. The pretzels were soft on the inside and came with a honey mustard sauce also. The band was awesome! It was music with a little bit of comic relief. We did spy a HUGE piece of chocolate cake that the peeps next to us ordered. It looked awesome...maybe next time. Cheers!

Yelp
The FGL House is a nice, eclectic, establishment with three levels and a rooftop bar. Large and when full with a band playing, loud and a fun place. Our experience for dinner was a mixed bag of disappointment, some anger, good tasting food and finished off with an ok visit. Kudos to a manager for saving this review from a 1-star. Seated at table in front of stage, two persons were setting up microphones. Restaurant no busy and the bottom floor is about 1/2 seated. I don't know why but I started the timer when we were seated. Twenty-one mins and no-one had approached our table. Three servers were noted moving at warp-speed, like busy bees flitting about. There is a gentlemen standing in an alcove or corner where the servers are going in and out. At 25-mins I got up and approached him to ask if he was the manager, he was. I showed him the timer, now 26-mins, and requested a server ... at least for drinks. We were thirsty as we've been walking for several hours sightseeing and it was hot outside. He followed me back to the table, took our drink order, and indicated a server would be over soonest. HaHa. About 10-mins later, no drinks and no server, and the manager is no longer standing in the alcove. I approach the bar to order our own drinks and off to the side is a beer and a coke. I asked the bartender as to which table they were for ... LoL, it was for us. Now I have a semi-cold beer and a watered down soda. The bartender replaced both. I'm seated at the table and just as I am checking into Yelp!, a server appears. Barbara asks a few questions and the Yelp! app pops up a free appetizer from FGL House. I show it to the server and say, I'll have one of these, pointing to the Yelp! screen. She immediately indicated that was an old Yelp! special from the previous month and was no longer being honored. So now we're disappointed that we've been in the establishment for almost 35-mins, had just gotten our own drinks and now the Yelp! special, an agreement between FGL House and Yelp! wasn't being honored. Anger is setting in. We place our food order and, I swear, 7-mins later its being placed on our table. Fries were limp and cold when we asked for well done crispy fries. Burger was dark and hard from being overcooked and barely warm. The Mac-n-Cheese FGL style was luke warm too. I walked into the kitchen and asked the first person for a manager. Manager arrived, same person as before and told me I wasn't allowed in the kitchen; really!. I said your cooks shouldn't be putting out cold overcooked crappy food. He followed us to the table. We showed him the food and he quickly understood. He apologized and said he would take care of us. After he departed the server brought fresh drinks and removed the plates. I had stopped watching the time as the band has started playing, we've cooled off from being hot outside and we're beginning to enjoy ourselves. After some amount of time the manager arrives with a server in tow, both with hands full of dishes. Nice hot burger, VERY crispy well-done fries, the Mac-N-Cheese with a steaming sliced chicken breast on top, and ... wait for it ... the appetizer I asked for from the Yelp! app. The manager departed briefly and came back with fresh drinks. He apologized for the issues and said if we had any more problems to ask for him. The food was really good and we spend almost three hours here. The manager comped two rounds of drinks and the appetizer. We also had dessert and many more rounds of drinks. So we went from a 1-star to a 4-star visit.

Yelp
With so many lunch choices in downtown Nashville, we landed at FGL House. It boasts the largest rooftop space in the area, and with 3 stories, you can easily find a table. All you yelpers out there, check in everywhere you go! Doing so got me a free Sandi's Queso appetizer. The cheese was thick and creamy, topped with a variety of fresh chilies, and served with crispy corn tortilla chips. I tried their house burger of local beef, arugula, white cheddar, smoked onion jam, tomato, and pickles. The meat had a good char-grilled flavor, and the arugula was a nice touch, standing up to all the bold elements. I prefer a brioche bun, and that's exactly what I got. It's a very cool spot with lots of old metal signs adorning the walls. Oh, and you can catch live music all through the day.

Yelp
Great find on our part. We were just walking Broadway looked down a side street and saw it. So happy we chose FGL!! Had burgers and fries and BBQ chicken flatbread. Jared was our waiter, such a wonderful young man, helped us with our food and drink choices. All three of us said we would come back. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Really nice bar, had drinks but the food looked really good. Probably the nicest bathrooms we visited all night!! Lol Oh and the bar service was amazing!!

Yelp
Fun little spot, we went for the Bloody Mary, disappointing due to the sign saying one thing, the only garnish we got was a lime, but the FGL mix is delicious!! The food was amazing! We enjoyed the music and the scenery. They have music on the first floor and 3rd rooftop level. Definitely recommend at least going to the rooftop just for the view. The bartenders are on the first floor gave great service.

Yelp
Great food and fun vibe! Friday early evenings are our favorite...live music but not too crazy yet. The food is fantastic and there's a great variety

Yelp
Nashville hospitality?? Yeh, right. I was there a while back and one of the staff there was talking smack at me for not being a straight cis gender person. The staff's ONLY job is to be hospitable and positive; not spew some homophobic judgment to knock me down and make me feel bad. Geez. I don't need that on vacation. I definitely don't deserve to be subject to it where I spend my money. I'll spend it somewhere else.

Yelp
This review is for the rooftop bar. Across from the Johnny Cash museum is the perfect off Broadway spot to grab a beer and enjoy the view with a little more elbow room than the Broadway bars. If your lucky grab a seat by the street and walk up to order a cold beer. Live music with a great sound system are right inside.

Yelp
The ambiance at FGL house was pretty happening and fun. There's an upstairs where you can overlook the dining area, grab drinks and watch the live band downstairs. We put our name down and went upstairs to grab a drink. The waitlist was about 25-30 mins, which was great for a Saturday night. We got a text 6 mins later that our table was ready. Even better!! Our waitress was friendly, but the food was mediocre at best. 2 of us ordered the Mac and cheese with chicken. The Mac and cheese itself was tasty, but it was kind of dry and the chicken was very rubbery. Wouldn't recommend this. 1 of us got the Nashville chicken bites. These were better. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The drinks were pretty expensive for how watered down they were too. The best part of the evening was the fantastic live music playing! The band was entertaining and took some great requests. Overall I wouldn't really recommend this place. It's low on the list of places we've tried this weekend in the area.

Yelp
Very disappointed... bought most expensive entree...came out too rare and politely asked for more cooking time...result was still too rare. Totally not the fault of the server..he was really nice a guy! Talked to manager, offers free dessert ...ok but not what we wanted. Really disappointed I cannot recommend FGL House food...music was good

Yelp
The food was incredible. Service was below average. I figured going to such a high profile restaurant that the staff would be really engaging with the customers and be diligent with making sure the guests were getting every thing they need. Our server asked my guest if she wanted anything to drink so she ordered water... The issue is that she didn't even acknowledge or ask me what I would like. I was wanting to purchase a beverage but refrained because of the service. Later in the meal my guest asked about the FGL house lager and we were told they were out. Then the server proceeds to say "we are practically out of everything on tap". It was very disappointing. While we were eating our server came by the table 1 time. I believe we only saw her 4 total times throughout the experience. I give the food an A+ but the service a C.

Yelp
We stopped in here after a visit two years ago. I remember loving the atmosphere and decor. It's a very well-put-together place and a great hangout. Breanna was our waitress today and she was amazing! She was very kind and took excellent care of us and had great recommendations on food and drinks. We tried Sandi's Queso and the Pulled Pork Nachos along with a "Mid-West Top Shelf Margarita" (Patron Margarita) and beer. They were all really delicious and something we would order again in the future. Very happy with our decision to stop in and will be back in the future!! Thank again, Breanna!!

Yelp
Walking around Broadway and all the places to eat were packed, so found this place on 4th and it was not as full, so we got seated right away....plus the A/C was nice! Their was a two-piece band on stage with some good music. I got the Shrimp and Grits and my hubby got the Pulled Pork Sliders, both were very good! Nice little find!

Yelp
Had the best experience at FGL house for breakfast this fine Sunday for the Sundaze Brunch as FGL says. We had the best server Savannah who came to our table 4 times which was plenty! I had the Sandis Queso dip! It was really good and had a lot of sauce and a lot of trips! Thanks for everything Savannah!
google avatar

Yelp
Probably would give it a 4.5. I had the Salmon with mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels and my husband had the NY Strip with asparagus and a loaded baked potato. When we popped in here I was expecting an Applebees type experience. It wasn't even close to this. So much better. It was a great meal. Everything cooked just as requested and large portions. The live music was great. We arrived around 6:00pm on a Friday night and there wasn't a wait or many tables being utilized. We beat the rush. We would return.

Vicky T.

Yelp
Large restaurant & bar with a great stage for live music. We were there for lunch so it was definitely a laid back crowd but the talent on stage was great - very interactive & entertaining! Service was friendly & attentive. Good food & drink offerings - everything we had was good - typical bar food - better than some others we've visited in downtown Nashville. Would recommend & would probably return.
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
The upstairs is packed most of the time and place to go. There is a late night dance club downstairs that looks cool as well. We didn't eat but a friend said nothing special from food perspective. But great place for drinks and music.

Yelp
I finally got to experience downtown Nashville and this was like nothing else I have experienced. Super cool place, reminds me of being back in NY around Times Square. I stayed on the main level and sat at the bar, they also have a rooftop bar area. They had a live band playing music and it was just good vibes. I absolutely want to come back here and go into the other bars they have that are walking distance. I did walk around to all the other bars but everything was so packed, there will always be a next time.
google avatar

Yelp
This was a very "alright" kind of place. The restaurant had 3 levels, the first looking a lot nicer with a huge stage and a large menu, we went to the top level where you could order bar food from a limited menu and drinks, which is why we're were visiting. We ordered drinks from the menu (4 of them) and the bar tender said "I'm just used to bud lights" and asked to repeat our order many times. She made it seem like we were inconveniencing her. We had one drink and left. I would not recommend..
google avatar

Wes F.

Yelp
We stopped here to watch the TN / Perdue game! Ordered a couple drinks from the 3rd floor rooftop. Check-In here and you will get a free appetizer! I don't know if its good because I am writing this before it arrived. But what the heck its free!! Follow Up - the queso is very tasty Come check it out. Good use of some dirt!

Yelp
The wait staff was really friendly. Reality is, if this bar and grill was in any other town, it's probably the coolest bar in town. Fortunately for them, it's in Nashville. Nashville is a blast. Nashville is known for great food, cold beer and great bands with great performances. If you're looking for Applebees with an unenthusiastic band playing, this is your place. If you want to ease your way into the Nashville nightlife and think double-stuffed Oreos are too sinful, this might be a good place to ease your way into having fun. Edit: I just saw that there are more than one level here. Maybe climbing stairs is a good thing. This applies only to the lower level.
google avatar

Julina K.

Yelp
I normally don't like eating food... at a bar. But I was told that FGL's mac.n.cheese was really good. We were out bar hopping and starving so we figured we'd eat there. We had to wait but it wasn't bad, they had a buzzer. I actually got to walk around and didn't realized they had another dance floor downstairs and it was nice, they played good music too. We ordered the Mac.n.cheese, Cajun pasta and wings - I have to say we were actually impressed.
google avatar

Yelp
Our server Jarrod was AMAZING. The food was ON POINT. Best meal we had all weekend! We had kids with us, after a cheer comp and the band shouted out our team and the servers all made sure to stop and say hi and congratulations on their win. The drinks were great. Will definitely return! Definitely worth the wait to get a table
google avatar

Yelp
Wow, I really enjoyed getting stuck in Nashville when I missed my connecting flight. Mostly because of 2 very talented singers that kept giving me chills down my spine 1130 on a Monday morning! I would definitely come back here to listen to some music & have some drinks on peak or off peak hours. The smoked wings were what you'd expect & I would have stuck around & ordered more but my cab back to the airport was at 2. If I wasn't dog tired from NOLA, drank 4 days in a row & clothes didn't smell I'd stay another day. Sometimes a big place like this gets busy & it drops their star rating but I had a fantastic experience. Now Nashville is in my vacation plans & I'll probably start my day here.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
The pulled pork nachos were the perfect dinner after a great day around downtown. The drinks were nice and the band was amazing!

Steve S.

Yelp
Great music. However bartenders pour top shelf liquor into mixed drinks without asking. Make sure you tell them what level of liquor you want or they will upcharge
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Ok not all bars are the same on Broadway. Cass on the lower level was spectacular! Not only was she personable and awesome but she truly enjoyed the live music and was jammin to it! All bartenders should take Cass's lead. Highly recommend. The food was also awesome!
google avatar

Elana B.

Yelp
I came here for lunch. Dinner at any of the restaurants/bars on broadway is too overwhelming. I found it interesting that this was probably the only place I went in all of Nashville that didn't have live entertainment. However, the screens they had to play music videos was pretty cool. The food was good and we enjoyed it, but there was nothing special about it that screamed "eat me in Nashville". The. Heck in offer for the quest was an awesome touch tho!

Yelp
I love this place! I circled to come here when planning this Nashville trip. Stopping by on a late Friday afternoon, and there was a table available for 6 right away! The vibe was chill, not too crazy, music by Chloe Lawson performing. Our server was excellent as as she was very attentive in always checking on us. Brought out our food not too long after placing the order, especially the Seven Layer Cake. Which we wanted first. Delicious chocolate cake, couldn't get enough of it. It's a good thing we ate that before our regular food. Otherwise, the tacos, flatbread, chicken and fries wouldn't have tasted right. Just kidding everything was a thumbs up. The Margherita flatbread with Crispy lavosh, cheese blend, roma tomatoes, fresh basil was a good starter. The Southern Fish Tacos is my favorite item on thr menu. Three decent size tacos to not make you too full. That is unless you decide to eat the cake first. Oooohhh.. The service was exceptional, the music was perfect to go along with the late afternoon wine down, and some Florida Georgia Line merchandise to take back home. Thank you for having us!

Yelp
Second visit to FGL! First time we came we were in Nashville to potentially move. Now that we're here we brought mom to Downtown to explore the Broadway area. We truly liked FGL bar for its lower volume of crowds and same great ambiance as all the other places on Broadway. First time we came, we had an amazing server, she was just top notch and provided above and beyond service. Ironically enough, the second time we were here which was tonight 7/1, we had the same server and I have to give a huge huge shoutout to Hope. She's by far the kindest and most attentive server I have ever had and I've been to a ton of restaurants in my life. FGL is our favorite place by far in the Downtown area. Great food, great drinks, great music, and above and beyond service. We live in the Nashville area now but we don't frequently come Downtown just because it's extremely crowded but if we are ever in the area FGL will be our go to place.

Yelp
One of the best bars in Nashville! They have 3 floors, 2 for dinner with a stage, and the top floor has a rooftop patio & room for dancing! Almost always have live music, especially on the weekends and the service is quick & easy. A must stop!
