Google
One of best places to get a proper salad! I love the owner he is so sweet! I Appreciate all the amazing salads and grill cheeses he’s made for me!

I can’t seem to help but notice that your salads are very …. diarrhea inducing. A while back I was talking with my good buddy Magnus one night. We were a few drinks in and he told me about a horrible experience at a salad restaurant he had. How it left him a shell of a man he once was. And now a year later, after eating here, I realized this is the place he was talking about. Your salads have left me a shell of a man, and I am fearful. After I left the restaurant, I was at home, with my wife, curled up on the bed. She was giving a look. It was a good day, kids were at school, we had free time. We weren’t single but we were ready to mingle. And then, it struck me. I ran to the bathroom and dropped a nuclear bomb, stronger than Chernobyl itself. After that nightmare, I sure as hell was not ready to mingle. After that, it was another two months before she gave me that look again.

Three years ago I rated this place 5 stars. It’s gone downhill. Not one employee wears a mask while making the open-air salads. The salads do not taste fresh. Two basic make-your-own salads (one without dressing) + two cookies was over $25. And when the manager spilled half the salad when packing it into the bag, he said “oops,” and when I asked if everything’s alright, he just said “oh, just be careful with the bag.” When I got home I found out he’d spilled half the salad, didn’t offer to remake or add to it, yet I was still charged full price. All of these occurrences were the last straws. They’ve lost a regular customer, and I’m out to warn others.

Google
Great food and fresh as well. I ordered a create-your-own salad that included five toppings. Total cost was $8.50.

Google
I'm writing this completely independent of the fact that the employees are taking zero COVID precautions, let alone general sanitary food handling methods (no gloves while handling prepped and finished food after immediately ringing someone out). The food I ordered was incredibly disappointing. If I'm going to pay $8 for a panini, I'd at least hope that the sandwich is warmed all the way through and the cheese is melted. The buffalo chicken panini is bland, the chicken used was cold and chewy, and the cheese was still cold. The problem with pre-prepping paninis and refrigerating them is that you always run into the "cold in the middle" issue by the time you toast the outside, take some time and make them fresh. This was the first time I have visited and will be the last.

Google
Super fast service. Customer service that ACTUALLY asks questions and makes suggestions to make your visit better. THAT IS NOT FOUND in most places. We had a great soup and wrap. A “Soup Cup” is really a bowl. Much larger than expected. 1st time here BUT not the last.

Melanie St G.

Google
I love the chef salad but all the salads are good and the veggies fresh!

Nikole M.

Google
Went here for lunch and got a turkey bacon wrap which was phenomenal. The employees were great, super friendly. Awesome customer service and gave us great recommendations. Love coming here. Good atmosphere. It's nice coming to a restaurant where employees aren't breathing down you're neck about a mask or coming straight for your throat as soon as you walk through the door. It's a great feeling sitting down and having a normal meal! 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
Stopped by on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't this, in a good way. We were greeted by two super friendly employees who gave us the run down and prepared our food. Everything looked tasty on the menu. We decided on salads but they do have wraps, flatbreads, and paninis. I got the buffalo chicken salad, my husband got the greek salad, and we got a grilled cheese for our kiddo. Everything was fresh and tasty. I personally will be getting dressing on the side next time but I don't think many people would agree with me. The only thing lacking here is the atmosphere. Lots of seating but the walls are just painted green with a couple vegetables painted on them.

Yelp
I've been here a few times over the year and was in this morning with my young daughter. The equipment is always drenched in some mystery liquid. Some of the stains look like they've been caked on for extended periods of time. The owner is the sole employee, likely because he's too rude to have anyone willing to work for him. He insulted a delivery driver who was perfectly pleasant to him directly to me and my daughter, while the driver was only a few feet away. Every time I've left here I'm left with what can only be described as gastric distress for the rest of the day. I was willing to give Field of Greens the benefit of the doubt for a while, but no longer. Avoid at all costs.

Winter G.

Yelp
The owner is amazing, really enjoy how he helps explain the menus or just helps you create what you want!!
google avatar

Ian M.

Yelp
I just wanted a salad. I don't know why. I don't like salad generally. After eating this salad I remember why. It was a good salad. Lots of cheese and egg. Good turkey panini. Good bread in general. I just keep forgetting that I don't like salad. But if you do, you should definitely come here. They have lots of it.
google avatar

Don P.

Yelp
The service is always fairly good. But if you're serving all that plant based food it should be mainly organic. But to make any money they have to buy cheap and sell high. If people would understand the importance of organic in their diet we'd all be better off.

Yelp
I went here a couple days ago. Wanted to get a fresh salad. It has a large menu and never being there before it took me a minute or too in order to figure out what to order. Even though there was no one in line and nobody in the place the owner acted kinda rude towards me. Like I was wasting his time deciding what to order! The salad was on the pricy side and wasn't anything special. A few of the tables had trash on them. I think the owner was the only person "working" there. Disappointed , I won't be back. With his poor attitude, I'm surprised this place is still open.
google avatar

Avery L.

Yelp
One of my favorite lunch spots! Always quick and clean! The owner is super nice and try's to make every interaction pleasant, with conversation while on the food line! Turkey bacon club salad is my go to

Barb F.

Yelp
So disgustingly dirty. I do not know how they passed a food inspection. I wanted to leave. I prayed the whole time I was eating that I didn't get sick. Never again.
google avatar

Latonya P.

Yelp
Nice option for lunch! The regulars seem to like it. I like salads but can't say I love them so I can only be so passionate in my review lol. But as salads spots go this is fits the bill. They offer quite the variety and get you in and out pretty quick. I had the Greek salad and it served its purpose. The dressing could have used some more flavor but it wasn't horrible. They give you a great portion plenty to fill you up! They didn't wear gloves which bothered me or at least the guy handling my food didn't but he didn't really have to touch my food either so there's that. I do prefer gloves be worn though. I feel like with a pandemic you do everything you can to create confidence and comfort for your customer!!! The place is clean and centrally located in mooresville!

Hangry F.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place. Unfortunately, didn't meet my hopes. The salads were average at best. The ceasar salad had more egg than anything else. The asian chicken salad had more crunchy noodles than any other ingredients. What made this place a fail though was the rude employee who took my phone order & his in person demeanor is just as rude (6/14 around noon). Finally, the price of the salads online say $8.99 so logically, I would think 3 salads equals $26.97, so I am unsure how the subtotal is $30.75.

Yelp
First time here - thanks to my aunt for bringing me for lunch- and I tried the tuna salad and added corn relish. The tuna is sliced and raw....and so delicious- I can't wait for my next visit. The place is - not a help yourself- bar style - so you can view the freshness while your food is being prepared. Great selection and the food appears super fresh & friendly service!

Yelp
I'd driven by this place before, and decided to stop in for to-go salads for myself and my daughter in law. I will say that the salads were decent; nothing to write home about, but at least the ingredients were fresh. The reason for my 3 star rating is bc the guy who made our salads was kind of rude. Like, not only was he unfriendly, which is so uncommon in Mooresville, his responses to my questions were actually kind of short. What's up with that? I told him when I walked in that I had never been there before, but he felt it necessary to get sassy when I asked about the salad dressings. Kudos to the girl at the register who couldn't have been nicer. One and done for me.
google avatar

Annamaria-Guarneri M.

Yelp
The 1st time ever walking in with my daughter, yes its dirty, yes the man kept asking "what? What?? Speak up I cant hear you!" Should have walked out. Unfortunately we ordered food. Mediocre at best. He yelled what chips do you want to her while I was in the bathroom. Why? This guy posted all over fb about my review. How unprofessional can this guy be? Sir, your rude. You were very nice to the 2 men that came in 15 minutes after. You said merry Xmas and I said..ok well we're Jewish. But you lie on fb. Ok....ok...best of luck to you.
google avatar

Lauren G.

Yelp
Meh. I did the turkey bacon wrap and the ratio of filling to wrap was off with wayyyy too much extra wrap. And this is after the worker told me not to overfill it. It's an Okay healthier meal but I just was not impressed with the quality. If you need fast food (ish) but want it healthy give it a try but I don't plan on returning.
google avatar

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
A very nice place to go for a special salad and a sandwich. My turkey bacon and cheese panini was excellent and very hot when I picked it up at lunch. I could tell the stress level was a bit high, possibly due to being short staffed, so the next time I go I will make the effort to leave a nice tip.
google avatar

Ashley D.

Yelp
Great place, highly recommend! Upon entering, immediately greeted and while ordering the man was very personable. Food was fresh and delicious. Definitely coming back

Yelp
Didn't like being called "Bro" and referred to as such the entire time I ordered from the guy at the counter. Uncomfortable and unprofessional. My portions were too small for a large salad. I could get a bag of Fresh Express lettuce from the next door Harris Teeter for 1/4 of the cost! The restaurant itself seemed kind of dirty and it was desolate for 1pm. Not impressed. Service, portions, and ambiance not up to par.

Hannah P.

Yelp
This place needs help. I walked in for lunch today and while my boyfriend and I were walking to the counter he made the comment "hmm it's a little dirty in here" I agreed but could overlook the dirty lobby if we were ordering to go. But then we got to the line. My gosh, I have NEVER seen such a dirty line in my life. I have worked in restaurants for over ten years, I can overlook a lot because I understand how things can get. With that said, how dirty the line was was completely unacceptable. The cross contamination alone was cause for concern, but the fact that there was lettuce, dressings, and toppings all over the line they are supposed to put your bowls on was actually shocking. We looked and I said "are you sure you want to eat here?" And we made the executive decision to walk out and not risk getting food poisoning. This really was atrocious. I've never walked out of a restaurant before even ordering because of how dirty it was. The health inspector needs to come back here and look around. Do better.

Yelp
Had a togo salad from here today and it was tasty. I ordered the Cobb salad that was served with chicken, chrispy bacon, chopped boiled eggs, diced tomatoes, and blue cheese. The salad came with a roll and my choice of dressing. I went with the balsamic dressing and it paired great with all of the salad toppings. The salad was the perfect size for lunch and really hit the spot. As a HUGE salad lover I recommend this place for a healthy lunch.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch today with my wife while out running errands on New Years Eve. Place was busy but the young lady behind the counter was very good and took our orders quickly. They have a combination of a 1/2 sandwich or wrap along with your choice of either a soup or salad. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich along with an antipasto salad with Parmesan Peppercorn Dressing on the side. Turned out to be an excellent choice. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was served hot and had just the right amount of heat. Salad was excellent with a nice blend of greens with deli meats. My wife had a Turkey Wrap along with a bowl of their Tomato Basil Soup which was one of the Soups of the day. While we at the cashier paying for our lunch, there was a bit of confusion on his part and since each order had two components, kept mixing them up. Space is a shared spaced with TCBY and considering that several of the employees were wearing TCBY shirts, probably have two places operating with the same staff out of the same location. In anycase, this is not a review of TCBY but of Field of Greens and I give them a thumbs up.

S C.

Yelp
oh my god, this place was filth. I can't even believe that given where located it has survived. Do NOT go here, don't. I tried to have the Cobb, just no, do not. My poor pal tried half chix panini half chix salad ......we couldn't eat any of it. Just don't. Do not even try, disgusting. There is a real chance that it could make you sick, this is one of the filthiest places I have ever been. Anyone who recommends this place clearly doesn't wash hand, feet, body, or indulge in food safety precaution. Disgusting!

Kristen S.

Yelp
This has potential to be good, but I have only had terrible experiences. The most recent, I was a couple bites into a Greek salad and found a hair and was too grossed out to continue. Very disappointed especially after two Greek salads costs almost $30 and barely have any ingredients other than lettuce and oil. It had peppers that were actually hard shelled that didn't know was even possible. The service wasn't any better. The person at the counter was extremely short tempered and unfriendly. The other person didn't seem to know anything about the menu or operations. We were sitting at a booth and she brought a flatbread out and put it in front of the person I was with and left. We told her it wasn't ours and she came back and took it to someone else. Just disgusting.
google avatar

Kristyn P.

Yelp
I walked over during my lunch break to get a salad, which was an okay salad. But I did not notice until after ordering, that none of the employees wore masks working or making the food. With the pandemic and regardless if you agree with the mask mandate or not, I feel like it is extremely disrespectful to the customers when you refuse to follow a simple mandate, even if it is just to make your customers feel safer when buying food from your restaurant. Because of this, I will not be back which is a sad reason to loose business.
google avatar

Melinda S.

Yelp
Loving the new location! Such a vibrant and quaint place for grabbing some healthy options -- or a salad with nearly everything on it. Everything here is so fresh and delicious. It's a favorite for my mom and I. Plus always friendly employees and management! It's a nice pitstop for a quick lunch or some takeout. Also, pretty excited they are on UberEats now just in case I am feeling lazy.
google avatar

Katie G.

Yelp
No concern for their guests during this pandemic. Masks are not worn. They clearly do not care about the health and safety of others

Sheri D.

Yelp
Great relaxed atmosphere. The ingredients are fresh and healthy. Huge variety of ingredients mixed the way you like. Also the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Jane L.

Yelp
Usually order the Smoked Turkey Bacon Club Panini to go here. My all time favorite with a pickle and bag of chips. Will be back for a sit down lunch one of these days. Definitely, try the salad. What a selection and once you walk in the door there is the enclosed salad counter like the deli. This place is clean and spacious. Lots of tables and chairs.
google avatar

Minnie N.

Yelp
Hubs and I wanted something lighter than all the rich and heavy holiday food we've been eating since Thanksgiving. We were on our way to another restaurant but saw Field of Greens and decided to give them a try. It's set up like a Subway where all the salad ingredients are in front of you so you get to see your salad assembled. You can make your own or order from the menu. You can also have their dressing on the side or mixed in. They also have soups and paninis. We'll try those next time. Employees were friendly, helpful and professional. Salads are huge. They're definitely a meal. I had the Cobb salad and hubs had the shrimp and tuna. All ingredients tasted fresh. With drinks, our order came to about $21, which is a little less than what I paid for a salad buffet recently, only this salad was so much better. I ordered two salads to-go, and picked up a takeout menu before we left. We'll definitely return.
google avatar

Susan S.

Yelp
Salad and soup are delicious lunch. Many toppings to choose. The soup is flavorful, the topping portions are generous, and the staff is friendly. Everything is clean and casual.
google avatar

Eric R.

Yelp
How does a salad place not have fresh lettuce? After I picked out the bad lettuce, it was okay. Sandwiches were average This place potential, they need to step up freshness and cleanliness around the drink dispensers.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Good little lunch spot off Williamson road in Mooresville. I was attracted to it initially due to its name and I was looking for a salad place. I went in on a Saturday and it was rather empty. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. You can do sandwiches, salads or you pick two, and save a few dollars than from Panera. They only market the salads with romaine lettuce, but you actually have your choice from spinach or mixed greens as well. I got half a panini (chicken red pepper) and a make your own salad, where you get 3 toppings, including protein, so it's a good deal. The panini was extra cheesy. I enjoyed my meal but I wish the ingredients looked a little fresher when ordering, that would be my only complaint.
google avatar

Penny H.

Yelp
Love this place!! The salads are fresh and they have a huge variety of salad selections! This place is clean and service is always great!
google avatar

Jessica R.

Yelp
The salads were very good, I am not very creative so I had a signature salad and it was amazing. The panini was GROSS. But it is not a panini restaurant so I can not fault them to much for that. They spelled avocado wrong on their sign.
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
I eat here at least 1 time per week. It's my favorite eating place in the area. Food is always fresh and tasty. The folks that work there are constant and quick. The new layout is a lot nicer since they dumped the TCBY that was attached. The new menu is freaking awesome and adding the sashimi tuna is off the hook. This is not a sit down and be served place but you have a nice environment once you order and pay. Great upgrades to the place lately.
google avatar

Ben S.

Yelp
I have been here a few times and always make sure to come when I am in the area. Excellent food and even better service. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quick, inexpensive, delicious meal.

Katarina A.

Yelp
wish there was a 0 stars option. Like pretty awful and disgusting...bagged lettuce (brown) and a filthy environment. the owner was so awful and treated his customers and employee horribly with zero respect. Bad attitude and just miserable experience. Sloppy experience - toppings and such all over the place. not surprised he has a bad reputation in the community.

Kristen B.

Yelp
This place has the freshest ingredients, especially for a healthy eater like me. Plus, they now have arugula and Mac-n-cheese (freshly made) and sirloin!

Carrie T.

Yelp
I just got a carry-out order, and my salad was pretty good (as it's been every time I've gone to Field of Greens). However, NONE of the staff or patrons were wearing masks, and this was very concerning and upsetting. I would have left if I hadn't placed my order online and thus had already paid for it. I found the lack of masks really concerning because the salads are made at a salad bar station, leaving employees to breath all over food without any face protection. I feel there should be more consideration for customer's health, especially considering the governor has mandated that all restaurant staff wear masks. This seems like a blatant violation of public health codes, and so I will not be returning for my safety.
google avatar

Nicholas S.

Yelp
I love the concept for Field of Greens! In case you've never been, it's the Subway of salads. It's not the freshest, but it's tasty, quick, and healthy all in one! You can make your own salad or try one of their signature mixes. My mom made her own, and I tried the antipasto. We were both pleased and had A LOT extra to take home for another lunch. For $8, we basically got 2 meals. It was definitely worth it. The inside was very clean and had tons of seating, too! This is the perfect place for a quick lunch break!

Anna R.

Yelp
Gross. No masks or gloves, aggressive guy up front staring me down while I asked him for ingredients. Bad attitude and extremely minimal conversation. Terrible customer service and I will not be returning.
google avatar

Jonathan B.

Yelp
They do have some good, interesting salad combinations here. And they are a lot like a healthier Cold Stone Creamery. A Cold Counter Saladery if you will. You pick what you want in your salad or pick one of the many options they have on offer, they put it in a bowl, cover with dressing and mix it up. If you want you can add soup and a drink - I just got water. But seriously? For a salad, a roll and a small bowl of soup my total came to $10. The salad itself was $7 and honestly, while it was sizable, it was not $7 worth of salad. You should consider the salad bar at Harris Teeter where a pound of salad with meats and fixins' comes to less than this for a pound. And a pound of salad is a lot of salad by the way, even with meat and dressing and all the heavier veggies. If you're looking for a nicely made, tasty salad and you're not too worried about the bill, go here!
google avatar

Jeremy R.

Yelp
Just moved to Mooresville from Charlotte. I loved Crisp down there. Fresh, high quality, a lot of ingredients to choose from, great service and blackened shrimp, steak, chicken, salmon... I could go on and on. So I was looking for that same experience here. FOG is not it. If they're trying to be the Subway of salad places, then they're doing alright. But my first time wasn't a good one. Greek salad was what I would expect from a packaged one from Wal-Mart or another grocery store. I added chicken (which they forgot) and when I went back to get it, it had no taste. The Greek dressing was sweet, and I know everyone has different tastes, but I don't like sugar in my salad. I was hoping to like this place, and I would gladly pay extra for a better salad, but I was expecting more from this place literally two minutes from my new home. Maybe I'll just open a place myself :)
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
I have wanted to try this for a long time! I finally had time today and I got the Greek salad and caprese sandwich combo. It was amazing! I will be back a lot! The service was great too! It was so easy and quick to order as well!

Cathlene S.

Yelp
Only true salad place in town. Needs a bit more variety of items but staff was very friendly and helpful. Glad they exist.
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Poor service, mediocre salad. I ordered the basic Field of Greens salad $6.99. The checkout girl rang it up for $7.50 which came to over $8 with tax. When I questioned it she said "all our salads are about the same price" to which I replied "the FoG is $6.99". She got the mgr to the register to assist me when he, visibly annoyed, opened the drawer & threw a $1 bill at me & said "here". IMO this is overpriced for some iceberg lettuce & handful of veggies. I went out of my way to check this place out & I won't return.
google avatar

Bonnie G.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in Mooresville visiting family, I try to make at least one trip to Field of Greens for lunch. The soup+salad combo (plus a drink) is pretty good for about 10.00. They even toss your salad with dressing once you are done building it, which is a nice touch. I wish we had something like this in Southern California!

Tom K.

Yelp
Friendly faces serving YOUR exact salad made from quality produce. It's like Subway, but for salads -- and a little nicer. Yelp labels this "fast food". It IS fast, but still personal and good quality. I'd return with anyone I'm trying to take good care of.
google avatar

Spencer S.

Yelp
Very tasty wraps. Fresh ingredients. I understand it's healthy and all, but can you get some chips that don't suck?
