Well, what can I say....they have the food right, the staff was efficient, oh it's the pricing for eggs & bread that's a bit outrageous,...I guess it's in the Woodlands so what can you expect.
Atmosphere, not totally hip or upscale, idk how to describe it honestly. There are some high table tops next to the bar, some booths on the other side of the bar & table with chairs on the other side. As you walk to the restroom you can see the kitchen through the glass, lots going on back there. The location is a bit small & they don't take phone call reservations so be prepared to wait for seating.
The creme brulee french toast was delicious I'm not going to lie, however $13 for 2 slices of bread is completely outrageous. The hot chocolate (which is half of a regular coffee cup & water based) was a fail at $5 cup. The chicken sandwich was great, however again fail on the price. I believe it was $19, it did taste like grandma's fried chicken, juicy & tender & crispy, great seasoning. The waffle was hot, good taste, a bit over cooked. The rosemary lemonade was tart & sweet, refreshing, overpriced. The migas was served hot, eggs cooked nicely, I was Missing the cheese flavor expected, some black beans thrown in there, basically it was 4 scrambled eggs for $12. Again overpriced.
I'm sorry all I can focus on after tip is the $120 bill for a few eggs, lemonade, hot chocolate & bread. I could have fed a family for a week off breakfast, that bugs me a bit, so..it was nice to try but I'll pass on throwing money away by eating here again.
Enjoy.
