This has been a weekly stop for the last 4 or 5 months. It's great. The food is tremendous. It's so delicious the service, the people in there are just so friendly and it's just a really great place to visit and have a great meal and a few drinks

Google
The food was amazing and so fresh. It was my first time going and I will most certainly be back. Good prices and great atmosphere. Awesome service.

Google
6/28/25 So, for this being my first visit, it went well. To start off, the outside design is nice. Inside setup was good overall as well. Place looked clean from what I could see. The staff were friendly during greeting at the door and during my meal. The only recommendation is for the waitress to give a bit more time for people to look at the menu. This was my first visit, and I don't know the menu. Kinda felt rushed, even tho I know that's not what she was trying to do. Otherwise, it's great service. The food was average, I'd say. They give you 2 sauces with your bowl of chips. Green sauce-good. Red sauce-mid. I like the heat from red sauce, just not the taste as much. I'm not fully sure, but I think it's more like a "Baca sauce" or something like that. The Empandas were good overall. Some Chalula added on top with some of that lettuce and sourcream, which makes for a good bite. My burrito was ok. Decent flavor, just wish the cheese was mixed in better. The rice was basic, and the beans were bland. Final thoughts on the first visit is that it seems like an ok place. Nothing persay really stood out for me. May come back at some point to try again, but we shall see. There is much competition in this area.

Google
Solid food, always fun and large portions. I’m not well versed on Mexican food, but for what it’s worth, it’s worth it. The kids plates are $6. We go early when there’s no wait. The kids can relax and so can we

Have wanted to try this place and definitely wasn't disappointed... Wasn't "crazy" about it either though. My daughter and I sat outside, which was nice and comfortable. Prices were good for the portions. Server was great as was the timing to get our food. Tortilla chips were really good & liked that there were two kinds & guacamole was awesome. The 2 salsas served were too spicy for my daughter but great to me. I had a steak taco & she had the shrimp tacos. She loved everything but was a little bland to me and hate just adding salsa for more flavor/spice being you lose the taste of the food itself.

Google
This continues to be a go-to spot for great Mexican food at very reasonable prices. Friendly service, ice-cold beer, and a charming casual atmosphere round out the experience. I highly recommend Fiesta Mrxicana.

Google
I visited this restaurant for the first time on 12/22/22. Authentic food, delicious! Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Our party was 10 and everyone enjoyed their food with no complaints. Great atmosphere. I was surprised at how packed it was for a Thursday evening. I do recommend calling for reservations especially if you have a big group. The dish I had I believe it's called Fiesta Fajitas (combination). Update: We came back today and once again the food was delicious 😋 and the service was great!

Google
Food was fresh and festive to the eyes. It could have used some seasoning on the chicken like blackened seasoning. I had a chicken and shrimp fajita. My husband had a marinated pork fajita with pineapple. Generous portions, I really liked it. The server was wonderful,so friendly and she took care of our every needs. My husband and I both had the flan, for dessert, his was a chocolate flan I had a regular one and that was "EXCELLENT." Bathrooms were spotless and the atmosphere was beautiful. We would go back again. Located in town of Hammonton NJ, home of the world's best blueberries 🫐 ❤️😀

Yelp
My fiancé introduced me to Fiesta Mexicana when we first started to date and is now one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. It's a great folksy, family-owned restaurant located in the heart of South Jersey with down-home Mexican meals and an extensive tequila selection. Everything's always fresh with considerable portions served great hospitality. Great food, great atmosphere, and always great time. Yelp
Coming from Philadelphia when get off the AC Expressway and pass some absolutely fantastic restaurants (Italian and Mexican) in Hammonton NJ. One of our favorites is Fiesta Mexicana which is on the main drag in Hammonton. Nice atmosphere with some really great food. Chips and salsa on the table before you even order. Why do they taste so good? Not really hungry on the night we stopped so I ordered a a nacho dish from the appetizer menu and my wife ordered a burrito dinner with rice and beans. I forget what my appetizer was called but I remember seeing chips an a plate around an mound of guacamole and beans. Wow, appetizer is an understatement. It was a full; you can't eat it all, dinner. Absolutely delicious and filling. Burrito diner was great too since I did grab a bite. Both tasted great the next day for lunch. Yes, I recommend the place, however I might add that Hammonton is an out of the way food mecca.

Yelp
A nice family owner Mexican restaurant with authentic Mexican food. The food is prepared fresh and the portions are generous. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly even when the restaurant is crowded.
google avatar

Andy B.

Yelp
Enjoyable experience. If you're looking for very good Mexican cuisine at a reasonable price, Fiesta Mexicana is a good choice. I order the Fietas Mexicana. The combination of chicken and steak were smothered in cheese. My serving came with 3 tortillas, there was enough food for 4:or 5; tortillas. Our server was friendly and efficient.
google avatar

Steve K.

Yelp
This the second time I have eaten at FM, the first time for dinner a couple of years ago, and now for lunch. The green, and red sauces that are served with the tortilla chips are better than average. I ordered the Chile Relleno, Sope and Tamal Combo, and my companion ordered the Burrito, Enchilada and Taco Combo and both were very enjoyable, Service was very quick and this is a great local Mexican restaurant and you should check it out.

Octavius J.

Yelp
Great food, service and atmosphere. Prices are unbelievable for the amount of food you receive.

Yelp
Nasty food isn't even Mexican food meat tastes like it came out those cans it was all junky and nasty cheese stinks everything was just horrible nothing was good don't come here go to the el Nuevo mariachi loco instead get your money worth

Yelp
The food and atmosphere are great, but the service has been pretty bad the past few times I've come here. During one visit the hostess sat us at a table that was VISIBLY dirty and disgusting, and we had to ask our waitress if we could move to another table. Every time we come here we have to flag down our waitress just to pay the bill as they rarely check on the tables after getting served the food. It's not even busy, and they're just sitting around talking with each other. Probably won't come back here for a long time because the quality in service went way down.

Dorothy R.

Yelp
Superb fajita as always!!. Charming, welcoming staff. Affordable prices. Our favorite spot.

Don S.

Yelp
This is a pretty solid Mexican restaurant in Hammonton. Been coming here for a few years now--generally taking my older father with me. Fresh guacamole, food always comes out nice and hot. Would recommend for a fun meal and friendly staff. The ambiance could be better--the music in the background is okay. The tv is hardly on--but you're spending time eating with friends and family, so should you really be looking at the tv, anyway?
google avatar

Jennifer K.

Yelp
"Authentic Mexican" this is surely not. Chips were stale Tostitos. Queso fundido was very evidently just a ramekin of microwaved Kraft shredded cheese. Tortillas were also cheap, store bought and stale. At least had hopes the enchiladas would be edible, unfortunately not. They were cold and covered with a very sweet almost marinara tasting sauce. Really bizarre. This place is near really does not care about authenticity or serving decent food.

Yelp
The food here is excellent!!! The service was top notch, and our food was hot and good!!!! I will definitely be back here and I recommend this place highly!!!!
google avatar

Carrie B.

Yelp
It's not extraordinary but it's solid Mexican food in a fun atmosphere and the service was very friendly and accommodating. The salsas were fantastic! And the Michelada hit the spot! I'll be back.

Yelp
Fiesta Mexicana is my favorite Mexican restaurant! They have many authentic dishes on the menu. Their tamales and house margaritas are amazing and the service is always excellent. Everyone working has been extremely friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is always bright and clean. I have always enjoyed my meal and experience whenever dining at Fiesta Mexicana.

Herald B.

Yelp
I thought the food was great! And cheap so many selections 100 bucks fed my family of 5 and I got my margarita. Lots of food And they had ac working here. Compared To the one down the street.

Yelp
my fiancée and i came for dinner yesterday, it wasn't packed but they had some decent business. we were seated relatively quickly and the menu had plenty of options for the both of us (i am a vegetarian and she has allergies). we both had verde enchiladas, which i was very pleasantly surprised to see were compatible with the both of us. most restaurants i go to have a vegetarian option or two but they had a nice little section on the menu for me, so i look forward to returning to try more of what they have to offer. we both agreed the enchiladas were pretty good (4 stars) and i thought the sides were solid as well (3). the outside of the building looks nice, the bathrooms were very clean as was our table. if you're in the area fiesta mexicana is worth a visit
google avatar

Kristina N.

Yelp
I ordered the shrimp cocktail and red snapper for dinner and was wonderful. it's not my first time going there, I like how friendly the staff is and the food was never disappointing to me. Will keep coming back!

Maria R.

Yelp
This was one of our favorite places to go for Mexican, their tacos Al pastor were the best. Unfortunately, the past two times we have been there, the food has been awful not the same taste or quality. I was so disappointed; we asked one of the workers if it had changed owners or cooks and we were told the owners did not really change it is still in the family but the cooks were changed. The margaritas are great but the food is not. Sadly, we won't go back.

Yelp
I had really high hopes for this place. I really wanted to love it. I did love the ambiance and the over-all look of the place. The service was just okay. It wasn't the best, but the servers were not rude. I was severely disappointed with the food. The complimentary chips and dip were ok. They forgot to give us the extra queso dip we ordered. The steak burrito sucked. It lacked in flavor. The rice was so bland and dry. I won't be coming back.

Jada S.

Yelp
This was my first time here and the food was good. The service was great and the staff was friendly. The drinks were good and look very pretty. They also celebrate birthday's that is nice as well.

Marian S.

Yelp
So basically, this "authentic food" is only for WHITE PEOPLE!!! The service was okay, they all speak both English and Spanish, but they have got to tell us who their primary audience is!! I grew up in a household where Mexican food is authentic, so seeing the lack of flavor was insane!!! Basically, the chorizo they were given was actually beef, which is not what it actually is!!! Chorizo is suppose to be sausage!!! Also the tortas were prepared in hoagie bread!! I've been a new Jerseyan since I was born and hoagie was always a essential, but I wanted a TORTA!!!! Honestly most of the food lacked any real flavor and they served us 40 minutes after we ordered, it clearly looked like the food was prepared, and the waiters just let it sit there. The atmosphere was great actually, there were authentic Mexican pieces, but that was the only authentic thing in that damn restaurant. If you guys want authentic Mexican food in south jersey, go to areas in vineland, Bridgeton, or places in Camden!!! K last word!

Yelp
Great atmosphere, decent food and outstanding margaritas! Would definitely come back!

Yelp
We got a winner right here. The food is great and the atmosphere is automatically Mexican. Service is always stellar. The margaritas are amazing and so are the empanadas.

Meredith D.

Yelp
The most authentic Mexican restaurant around. Been going to Fiesta Mexicana for 20+ years and never disappoints

Jim S.

Yelp
Ambiance nice, quaint. Service good. Never been to a Mexican restaurant where I disliked the salsas. Tried them all. Disliked them all. Chips seemed to be from a bag. Fajitas were plentiful but almost no flavor and dry. Just wasn't for me.

Crissy T.

Yelp
Fantastic! Food was amazing and the drinks where delicious. Staff was wonderful and pleasant.
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
My wife and I finally tried this place out last night. We started with jalapeño margs at the bar that were spicy and delicious for only $6 each! Once our table was ready we ordered nachos that were delicious. For entrees we had the shrimp fajitas and skirt steak, both were great. The prices here are very fair. The staff was very friendly and checked in on us just the right amount. We will definitely be back.

Michelle L.

Yelp
Very pleasantly surprised! Chips and salsa upon arrival were good The menu is large and so are the portions! Food was all good and this place is clean! Definitely will go there again...Oh and the Margaritas were delicious! Definitely would recommend!
google avatar

Brandon M.

Yelp
Food took about 1 hour to get the food and the tacos were so dry and not worth it. The beans too? Might as well skip this place. Wasn't worth the wait. Waited like 6 minutes for drinks and then an extra 10 for my other corona. Skip this place
google avatar

Mitch S.

Yelp
We were told by many people this is better then taco el tio in egg harbor township so we had to try. Great margaritas and friendly staff. Cute little restaurant. We liked the chips and queso was different then what we were used to. But the entrees don't stack up to taco el tio. Really solid food though. I'd go back again I got the steak, chicken, shrimp trio fajitas. It was good except for the shrimp. Wasn't a fan of how they tasted they were the really small kind and just had a weird taste. 3 stars
google avatar

Beth A.

Yelp
Everything I've tried here has been delicious. I love their enchiladas, quesadillas are good, and I almost always get taquitos. Definitely our go-to Mexican place. Also the horchata is very tasty

Yelp
Haven't been to Fiesta Mexicana in a while. My wife was looking forward to the beans which she usually enjoys while I was looking for something different since I haven't had Mexican food that much recently. We got the usually chips and red and green sauces. As I remembered, they were both very tasty. I ordered a margarita which was actually better than I thought it was going to be. Very good. My wife got her beans and also an order of refried beans. I had a shrimp burrito with mole sauce. It came with the side of the beans like my wife had and rice. We both tried our beans and came to the conclusion that it was a very bland dish. Not much flavor at all. My wife's refried beans looked like soup and she said didn't have much flavor either. My meal came with a large amount of food but unfortunately it wasn't as good as I remember. Like I said before the beans didn't have much flavor and neither did the rice. My burrito was also lacking something. The mole sauce was good, but i really couldn't tell what the burrito was stuffed with except for shrimp. Our server was very good, but twice we saw servers dropping dishes; once during busing and the other serving. Overall I can't complain about the prices since the bill came to around $30 and I had two margaritas and a meal. Still, I'm not sure if I'll be back.

Classiclincoln C.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner Friday night since we were driving through the area and hadn't been there in a while. The food was good (quesadilla & fajita). Server was friendly and not all that bad. However, when I checked the credit card charge, I saw that the total amount charged was not what the total amount was on my copy of the credit card charge. I had left a $7.20 tip, bringing the total to $47.18, but $51.98 was charged. It appears that they changed the tip from $7.20 to $12.00. Just be careful when you go!
google avatar

Fernanda L.

Yelp
We actually have enjoyed our experience. Was full house; and loud inside; but the food was good; was not hot; just warm, but still tasty. The vegetables were fresh and this is a great feature. Prices are great. Portions are big.
google avatar

Devon L.

Yelp
Subpar Mexican food, not good margaritas. The mango margarita was straight syrup, not quite like anything I've ever had but we ended up having to tell the waitress we couldn't drink it because it would make us sick. The food wasn't bad, salsa and chips were tasty! And they did have a lot of options. I wouldn't return if I was in the area, I think there are other places I'd try next!
google avatar

Jess R.

Yelp
Fiesta Mexicana is always the first place I go when I get back to South Jersey. The service is fast and friendly, and the food is amazing... It's authentic Mexican cuisine, not Americanized at all. The vegetarian burrito may very well have changed my life.

Dannielle E.

Yelp
The Food is always great. The wait staff is friendly and sweet. I'm grateful that have been able to make it through the tough couple of years.

Justin H.

Yelp
The service here is god awful and the food is below average. It took 2 hours to get our food. Absolutely useless servers

Emily R.

Yelp
Been coming here for almost 20 years & rarely leave anything less than full to the max. Great chips and dip, great prices, & great authentic Mexican food.

Gabriella a.

Yelp
-ordered a strawberry daiquiri. filled with ice chunks and not well blended -rice was cold and you could tell that it was not made fresh -the beans were luke warm -service was below minimum ^was not checked up on and had to wait 30 min for our check -waitress did not split the check correctly and had an attitude
google avatar

Mc M.

Yelp
The food here is amazing and fresh and full of flavor. The tres leches is the best I've ever had in my life, and I've tried a lot of tres leches in my life! You can tell it's homemade. Great prices and service and the frozen margaritas are amazing
google avatar

Caryn C.

Yelp
One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Weird to say, but I LOVE their soup and margaritas! Always friendly staff!

Sara P.

Yelp
The staff is very unprofessional. Reasons why I'm saying that is because one they put us in a waiting list of 30 minutes and we saw other cars arriving and they weren't being put in a waiting list. We went inside after 50 minutes to see what was going on and the staff acted like they were waiting for a table to get cleaned up when clearly we saw all the other people after us walking in. The server takes forever to come. We won't be coming back to this place! The food is not that great either, there are better places out there don't waste your money here! This is a coming from a person who doesn't really review places but I was very disappointed with the service.
google avatar

Duquina J.

Yelp
The husband and I stopped by after a long morning of doctors appointments. Found this place on the way back home and unfortunately it was not the best for me. I ordered the chicken chimichangas meal and it was very disappointing. Very salty and the rice (side) was over cooked which made me feel like it was old. The beans were watery and lacking flavor. My husband enjoyed the beans so I gave him mine. The service was amazing and the people were very pleasant but I will not eat here again.

Brendan F.

Yelp
Disappointing food overall. The green salsa served with the chips was the best part of the meal. Meats, all were over cooked to a point of being nearly inedible. Rice and beans, a staple in Mexican cuisine were terrible. Rice extremely over cooked. Beans that tasted like the came out of a can. Save your money and go to Taco Bell.

Miriam L.

Yelp
not even worth it to go I ordered a shrimp cocktail it was terrible and atrocious possibly can get seriously sick. we ordered food then by the way a terrible mistake.... the plate of food was terrible half of the stuff were expired maybe my son ordered a burrito bowl the lettuce and chicken was also probably expired. the chips and saltines were stiff the chicken was dry and flavorless. The "horchata" and "jamaica" was too it had no flavor. over tall terrible experience and we ended up paying a ridiculous price at the end.
google avatar

Tania A.

Yelp
Took our food it was amazingly tasty. I will always recommend them to anybody. Their empanadas was so tasty and crispy

Christian G.

Yelp
I hardly leave reviews, usually when I need to vent about an experience, and this restaurant meets that standard. There is not a single factor that made this meal worthwhile. No exaggeration, we waited 45 minutes for out appetizer which was just nachos. In between the time we placed our order and when the nachos came out, again, 45 minutes later, the waitress only stopped at our table 1. I asked the waitress for more water, and she totally forgot, we had to ask another waitress to bring it out. The service was dreadful at this place, especially considering they weren't even crowded, there were open tables. And my family wasn't the only ones to notice, the table next to us were complaining amongst themselves about how long it took to get their food, and another table got up and left without even taking the check (only had drinks at that point) because no one would service them. When the food finally did arrive, it was the most bland and tasteless food you can imagine. The nachos were essentially corn chips with shredded cheese melted on top of a few of them, half of the nachos had nothing on them. Besides the cheese, there was a huge lump of shredded lettuce and a little table spoon of guacamole, and that was all that was on the nachos. The other food, as stated previously, was just flat out tasteless and was not worth the value. Avoid this place.

Yelp
Used to be better and friendlier. My take on it is that it used to be a very popular, smaller restaurant, but now it seems to be on the way down. Sad. Three of us, each driving for hours, were tired. Ok, we got there close to 8 pm on a Wednesday, but the hours said they were open until 10. We're from VA and MD. We'd been there before, must have been back in the day when their food was good. 2 types of chips not homemade; seasoned ones were good. Homemade Verde salsa good, red spicy; my hubby would have liked it. I ordered a burrito carnitas. Dry. Friend's salad had lots of meat, but taco shell seemed small. Her husband ordered queso dip...melted glop, not the creamy white queso I've had before. In fact, it was ORANGE! (Kraft 4 cheese Mexican blend from a bag?) with the cheese oil floating on top! He also ordered a burrito, wanted it w/o beans inside, and with red sauce. Commented it seemed like all meat. They never offered to refill my tea mug with water, let alone bring a fresh teabag; water on the table was not refilled, either. Asked if we wanted dessert. NO SOPAPILLAS???!! I mean, really, how tough is it to fry up a couple of tortillas, drizzle some honey and sprinkle some cinnamon on top? And maybe throw on a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a chocolate drizzle, if you want to get fancy. We figured it was getting close to 9 o'clock and they wanted to close up shop. But you know, they did advertise that they were open till 10. Disappointing; won't be back.
