You can have a great time here, if you're white. My group and I went upstairs and started dancing. Naturally the club was packed because it was the eve of July 4th. So we found a booth that wasn't being used in the corner and decided to hang out there. Of course we checked to make sure there wasn't a "reserved" sign on the table or anything blocking off the table before we sat down. (Also, there was a booth near the stage that was sectioned off with those retractable security stand, so obviously and clearly that one was reserved).
One of the cocktail waitress came up and told us this table is reserved and asked us to move our party. After she left, we asked one of the bouncers if that table was reserved and he said no and that we can sit there, which is was we suspected. Then about 15 min later the same server came back and told us again this table was reserved and we told her what the bouncer said. She immediately went up to the bouncer and said whatever she needed to say to him and he came over and politely asked us to leave, which we didn't hesitate and moved on with our night.
So then about 45 min later or so, a group of people (pictured) started to gather and sit in the booth and we asked them if they paid or reserved the booth? They said no. We went up to the same waitress and told her why didn't she kick that group out. She said whoever paid for the booth bailed and that she "tried" looking for us. If she had "tried" maybe she should have kicked them out first then go and start looking for us.
If you look at the picture, you might see a similar characteristic amongst the group that she did not give trouble to. We, on the other hand, were rolling in with Asians, blacks, whites and brown. I'm giving 2 stars because I'm pretty sure this isn't the view of the whole business but if you look at some of the reviews, race has played a factor in deciding who gets good service or not.
I will give credit where credit is due, the bartenders are fast and attentive and the layout is pretty unique so it's great to wander around if you get bored. The location is smacked in a packed bar infested street, so you can bounce to where ever you feel invited! On a slower day, it's a great place to chill.
Ironically we were in there celebrating Ms. America's birthday. Looks like only some can celebrate being an American here! Cheers mate and do better.
