The Assembly Food Hall here also offers a staggering variety of stalls and seating areas across multiple levels, including local favorites like Thai Esane, Saffron the Indian Kitchen, Steam Boys, Donut Distillery, and Prince’s Hot Chicken — creator of the iconic Nashville hot chicken." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones, Eater Staff

We stopped by Fifth + Broadway during a short trip to Nashville and ended up having way more fun than expected! We grabbed food in the Assembly Food Hall, which has a ton of great options—something for everyone. While we were sitting and eating, there was always something going on—live music, people watching, and even someone walking around with a tiny horse that reminded us of Little Sebastian from Parks and Recreation. Totally unexpected and hilarious! There’s tons of shopping, from big brands to local Nashville-themed stores, and the entire area has such a fun, lively energy. It’s clean, easy to navigate, and a great place to hang out whether you’re just visiting or local. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in downtown Nashville—even if it’s just to eat and take in the vibe. You never know what you’ll see!

So you have to explore Broadway. So many gift shops, places to eat and places to drink, wow! It is alot of people for my personal taste, but I did enjoy the experience. If you want to listen to live country music every bar has the windows open and bands playing, just bring your wallet and have some fun.

Not too big of a shopping spot but very nice. No cars makes it even better. Great boutiques like Nike, Ariat and Tecovas to name a few.

Google
Right in the heart of Broadway—can’t miss it. This spot has a little bit of everything: shops, restaurants, and that classic Broadway energy. Super convenient if you’re already walking around the area. Great place to stop, browse, or grab a bite.

So Blessed

Google
Beautiful place to shop and eat. Everyone was very friendly in every shop I went into. O was very comfortable just strolling and enjoying the nice weather that day. Directly next to the Ryman.

Google
This place had some nice shops but nothing too interesting. As expected, prices weren't cheap. The best part of my time here was the food. Loved all the options, open seating and live music. Good time

Google
Went to play Bingo Loco. It was 3 hours long and 2 hours of it was music playing, mostly early 2000s. While I am a millennial, the 30+ minute rave was a bit much. Tables and chairs are EXTREMELY CLOSE TOGETHER so be prepared for that. If you like being a little crazy with your friends for a night, then this is for you. If you are there for the Bingo, them you might want to skip this one.

Yelp
Nashville is an incredibly fun city with a lot to offer in one place! Despite our limited time there, we were able to experience a great deal. It's definitely a must-visit destination if you're in the area!

Yelp
Walking shoes! Stopped in for a pair of walking shoes and engaged in a locals conversation and bought slides I was directed to a different store for slides and these just fell into my hands. A perfect fit when I didn't bring walking shoes. The perfect price as well. My children at home already have their eyes on the slides. The Managers were helpful, informative and knowledgeable. Mike is a local; The other Manger is from Chicago: The customer service was exponential. ! Thanks Nike team for going above and beyond.

Yelp
5th and Broadway Parking is huge! Instead of receiving a ticket, you simply need to scan a barcode and provide your information. When you're ready to leave, they will charge you accordingly. The first hour costs $10, but it's worth asking the larger stores if they validate parking, as many of them do. Additionally, you'll find some impressive artwork within the garage, as well as elevators and escalators for your convenience. If you have trouble there were several parking attendants working around there.

Yelp
This was a great way to spend some time shopping around before hitting the bars on Broadway. I would have liked to check out the food hall upstairs but we had other dinner plans. It was new years day so some of the stores were closed, but there was enough for us to stop into. The vintage store/taco bar was fun and you can get your cowboy fix at Ariat or Tecovas. I think my favorite stop was hanging out in the coffee shop to warm up with a hot mocha. If you're looking for touristy shops or souvenirs you won't find it here, these are more mall stores and mostly higher end prices.

Yelp
An addition to Broadway since I lived here, my jaw dropped upon walking towards this new development of mixed retail and dining. The Assembly Food Hall is two floors of Nashville favorites packed into one convenient area - everything from The Pharmacy to Prince's Chicken to Hattie B's and more. I was floored and wasn't sure how I'd choose what to enjoy throughout my work session in the 2nd floor area. This is a great spot for meetings or to get some work done between downtown stops like I did. There's great outdoor seating for those warmer days, and I also enjoyed stopping into some of the shops like Molly Green and Sephora. If you're heading to Nashville with a Bachelor or Bachelorette party filled with different palates, this is the move to make sure everyone gets a taste of whatever Southern faire their hoping to enjoy while on the trip. The website does a great job breaking down everything you'll experience. Happy exploring!

Yelp
I'm glad Nashville decided to do something about the old building that used to occupy this spot. This has turned into a beautiful food hall that has so many great restaurants and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. This is an excellent location as well, being right by downtown and the Bridgestone Arena.

Yelp
This place is amazing! They have a giant food hall with a mix of tasty sweet and savory options. You can get tacos, burgers, sushi, crepes, mini donuts, AND there's a really cute mimosa bar where you can get a picture perfect blue mimosa called The Tiffany! We came here for breakfast and tried the crepe spot which was super delicious! We did wait for awhile because there was only one chef and the kitchen seemed really chaotic. But the crepes tasted amazing so it was worth the wait. I also tried The Tiffany at Blush and it tasted just like a regular mimosa but the blue color just made it seem fancier lol! Overall a really good place to hang out, people watch, and get some delicious food! Oh and there's a really pretty instagrammable flower truck right below the food hall.

Yelp
Fifth + Broadway is a fun, vibrant area with plenty of restaurants and shopping. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays and we were able to take several nice photos. There is garage parking at a reasonable price. However, navigating the garage was a bit confusing and I struggled with finding the exit. The garage exits at a red light and I sat at the front of the exit line (directly at the red light) for approximately 8 minutes before the light changed to green. You can't turn right on red so the only option is to wait. If traffic is busy and you're in a hurry, then it will take a while to get out.

Yelp
This place is awesome! I was only here for a short time, but I think this is just what the Broadway/Downtown area needed. A newly updated food hall with ample shopping and little escape from the craziness of LoBro A few foodie stand outs are Slim and Husky's, (first Black-owned business on Broadway) The Donut Distillery, Hattie Bs, and Jeni's Ice Cream! There's plenty of shopping spots here as well, Sephora, State and liberty and Revv. There's plenty of parking here as well, but it is paid only. Feeling thrifty? Just park in the nearby neighborhood and walk over. Headed to a Preds game? This is a great pre-game spot! It's right across from the Bridgestone Arena.
google avatar

Yelp
Great location! This shopping plaza is right on Broadway and across from the arena. There is at least 1 store for everyone! Assembly food hall is up top- be sure to find your way up there and check out the live music schedule. Great for families and a nice short change of scenery from the neon signs that pepper Broadway.

Yelp
Loved the concept of getting restaurants from All around Nashville into one spot and showcasing their food and the many talents here in Nashville with the performance stages We had some Thai and Japanese food and it was all great!!!! A must visit if you are in Nashville

Yelp
Self serve but plenty of selections to choose from. Persons keeping place clean kind and always cleaning. Prices are okay. Food overall is great!

Yelp
My GO TO spot for having visitors in town. Everything you need in one central location and the ability to see broadway without having to partake. A few of my favorite spots here are pushing daisies, blanco, sixty vines, free people, 12/30 club. Two fun things I haven't tried yet but would be great for a bachelorette or bday activity: lipstick lab where you make your custom lip color and studs where you can get your ears pierced. Parking garage located underneath. Right across from Bridgestone, making it the perfect spot to visit before an event

Yelp
Super excited to see this new district added to lower Broadway. It is a mix of shopping, dining, apartment living, and business use. It is very chic and a different type of place than your typical lower Broadway. This is where locals can go along with out of towners. It will definitely be an area that draws the cringe worthy bachelorette along with those wanting tondo Instagram shots. This place has several pretty murals out photo ops throughout. You can take escalators up and down between floors and they have elevators as well. Parking is price gauging, but what do you expect from Premier Parking? They have an underground garage that you pay by the hour. For 2 hours, you're paying $12. This is going to draw a lot of revenue for the city, and it is a firm investment to be created.

Yelp
This is one of those trendy new developments that make long-time Nashvillians feel like they're visiting a completely different city, a style so different from anything we've seen. The concept of creating a beautiful and modern shopping district right downtown for tourists and local employees with an enormous offering of restaurants is long overdue! We need more of this. If I were to list the top 7 local chains that truly capture the essence of the Nashville food scene, Fifth + Broadway actually has four of them (Prince's, Slim & Husky's, Desano Pizza, and The Pharmacy). It's too bad they didn't add a Five Daughters, a Martin's, and a Hugh-Baby's or I'd be giving them 5 stars! Additionally, they have two national chains beloved by Nashvillians including Jeni's Ice Cream and Shake Shack. It's a little slice of Nashville, an improvement to downtown that elevates the tourist experience and is already extremely popular!

Yelp
Have been impatiently waiting for this to open for a looonnng time! We went opening weekend, Saturday for lunch, it was super busy. There was also a press game so understandably so. But still plenty of seats and parking! Speaking of parking, it's steep! But anywhere near Broadway is high. It's super convenient though. We felt like tourists! Cute photo ops everywhere. The shopping is still limited; only a handful of stores but the restaurants open are great options! Still really excited for the Food Hall South to open which will Steamboys and The Pharmacy!! We tried a few of the restaurants - Thai Esane, Oke Poke, Slim & Husky's, Desanos, and the Crepes! Everything was delicious, fast, and fairly priced! There were staff going around to pick up trays and clean tables! Security at the door to ensure masks were worn. And live music!! And even bottle service. Such a great hangout! Looking forward to coming back soon!!

Yelp
Loved what they have done at Faith & Broadway. They have turned it into a great little mall and the food court area is fantastic! I stopped by Coco' cafe & Dolce and grabbed a wonderful amaretto coffee, some tiramisu, and a small cannoli

Yelp
They've truly thought of everything! The 2nd phase has been completed! This space is huge and beautiful! The food selections are unlimited and everything is well spaced out! It's a beautiful maze

Yelp
Fifth + Broadway in Nashville is a great place to go for all things shopping, eating, and fun. I really like the location and atmosphere that they have created here. Cool place to go for everything in one location. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here.

Yelp
Ehhh not really impressed with what they had to offer . Stores were high end over priced . Great selection on food venues. Would I return ? Probably not . Fun to people watch tho .

Yelp
Cute little are with shops. Most are national chain stores like Free People and Nike, but great place to walk around and of course, SHOP!

Yelp
State and Liberty is a great option for men's clothing. Must stop in for a visit! Also hoping tourist's keep 5th and Broadway clean!!! It's nice place to eat and and has a few shops. Only downside is it's expensive.

Yelp
Fifth & Broadway is a welcome addition to downtown. This is what the downtown area was missing--an outdoor mall type area with restaurants and shopping. I'm here for it! We went to the National Museum of African American music on my day off work one day then went to the food assembly hall for lunch after. Great for tourists and locals alike and I was impressed by the design and layout.

Yelp
Really fun! Want to try some local grub? Go to Hattie B's! Need a pick me up coffee after a night out on Broadway... Get a drink from Elixir! Want a cocktail and a swank evening out? Stop by the Twelve Thirty Club. Motivated by the fashion of the country music city? Stop by Ariat! Fifth and Broadway offers some nice options for those who want to do some nice shopping or have some menu options while not getting too far from all the fun of downtown! In addition to great shops, Fifth and Broadway offers the Assembly Hall restaurants. You can find anything from a nice meal (Sixty Vines) to a Nutella filled crepe or even a snow cone or scoop of edible cookie dough! My husband and I enjoyed walking through the outdoor mall and enjoying the sights/smells/sounds and tastes! It was extremely clean. Well organized/plenty of signage available. Parking is also near by and it's close to a ton of hotels and other restaurants. It's worth a visit!

Yelp
Although previous customers had bussed their own tables, very few were wiped clean and more than half of the napkin dispensers were completely empty. The music was too loud. Everything is "Priced for Tourists" AKA overpriced. The food at Smokin Chicken was ok, but cold after sitting on the counter; they said they'd call my name when it was ready, but even though I was sitting right near the counter, I never heard my name. They don't accept cash for payment or tips. The facade is fancy enough to impress in pictures, but this place is all commercial & no heart.

Yelp
The Dry House Downtown! Julia was incredible, my blow-dry and my curls were flawless. Tiffany's make-up was surreal! I left the salon feeling like a princess, she was extremely kind to me, sweet, made me feel beautiful inside too. Tiffany's work is Hollywood quality/standard. Thank you for making my outside so pretty so i could celebrate my birthday and feel beautiful.
google avatar

Yelp
Love love love this concept downtown and it is already drawing a (albeit safely masked) crowd. I can't wait to see the rest of the rollout, but got a chance to walk around a grab lunch today and was quite impressed with the selection of shopping and food. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
This area is such a great addition to downtown! Eat, shop and enjoy music! We ate at Sixty Vines at it was phenomenal!! I suggest the frosé! Wonderful menu and wine on tap, what more you you want?! Oh...and outdoor rooftop patio looking right at the Ryman Theater! Wonderful!

Fred W.

Yelp
Great food selection and amazing ambiance, always a stop when in Nashville. Both me and my girlfriend prefer this to the rest of Broadway when visiting.

Madison B.

Yelp
Wanted to explore the second level and try these delicious crepes everyone keeps talking about. Security guard kicked my husband and I out because he was carrying a bag with Hattie B's leftovers from lunch. "No outside food is allowed in here." Would have loved to get to try a Nutella Crepe.

Ryan M.

Yelp
So apparently there's a rooftop bar with an awesome stage and an amazing band but no one knows about it because it is not marketed nor is there clear signage directing you to this area. I literally have no idea where the bathrooms are and walked through a wine bar just to get to the stage... I'm not sure who runs the show there as far marketing goes but wow, they dropped the ball. The four of us enjoyed the band however, sorry the marketing department blows. Coco and the Nash Bash are going places, if this place gets it together. Otherwise, the rooftop looks nice and has a great view...
