Fifty Seconds

From the moment we took the elevator ride to the beautiful restaurant overlooking the lights of Lisbon, through the meal and the final goodbye from the gathered staff; we were cared for and looked after at the highest level my wife and I have experienced. Our table was serviced at one time or another by 8 staff persons. Each one was knowledgeable in what was being served, how the food was prepared and in what order we should eat the various offerings in each course. We chose the 11 course tasting menu, there are also 12 and 14 course options. Each course is an appropriate portion, perfect for the taste and what the chef wanted to convey yet not so much food that you were too full to enjoy the desert. The preparation and presentation each course was outstanding. Our 11 course meal for two people with a moderate priced bottle of wine totaled about $560 euro. This level of meal and service would have been double the price in a big city in the U S. We definitely felt we received a great deal of value for what we paid. If you are in Lisbon and want a special night, I would not miss the opportunity to make a reservation and enjoy 50 Seconds (how long it takes the elevator to reach to restaurant). Impeccable food. Good atmosphere and service. Went there for valentine's day and it couldn't have been better. The view is of course the cherry on top of the cake.

Pluses: - Balanced menu. Menu provides dishes of different ingredients and textures. You will try fish, seafood, meat, vegetables and sweets. Sauces brilliantly accompany every dish. - Wine pairing. Applauses to sommelier. Perfect match of local wines. - Atmosphere. Stuff really makes everything to make your evening perfect and relaxed. Table provides you privacy. Don’t like - we took 11 course menu. Let’s speak openly - it is 6 course menu with good compliments. When you go to Michelin restaurant, you expect to have some compliments from chef and usually they are not part of a course menu. - I clarified at the beginning what will be price for menu with wine pairing. So I was quite surprised that this price includes only 3 glasses to 11 course menu. And to have 6 glasses, we need to pay additionally 40 EUR pp. Why not include this 40 EUR and provide good option of menu with wine pairing? You don’t expect to have just 3 glasses to 11 course menu. Overall, we enjoyed evening. Many thanks to the team and chef!

Incredible experience. We went for dinner on a Wednesday, and the entire experience, from walking into the tower, to the time we left, was incredible. The meal and wine pairings were absolutely on point, and the service was impeccable (if a bit decadent). If you're looking for a high end experience, at a high end price, you can't go wrong. I would not be surprised to see this place earn a second star.

What an absolutely fantastic experience! Each moment and bite was clearly curated with care and attention, with the ingredients chosen to enhance the flavor and taste. With the food and ambiance on one side, Chef Silvestre and his staff were also extremely warm, welcoming and witty! It was such a pleasure and privilege to have been able to have been able to experience their hard work.

What a phenomenal place. Everything exceeded our expectations, the views were gorgeous, the service was exceptional and the most important the food was out of this world. Every dish was so thoughtfully prepared and presented in such a beautiful way. We eat at michelin star restaurants a lot but it’s rare for us where every single dish was a delight. we opted for the 14 course meal and we didn’t regret it at all. What we really liked was the pace of the food, you could take the time you needed to enjoy the dish but once you were done it probably didn’t take more than 50 seconds (hence the name of the restaurant) for the next dish to be served. This made the experience very exciting and never boring. The service in general was impeccable and the wait staff are very attentive. I highly recommend trying this restaurant. we made our reservation rather last minute and submitted a reservation request and they emailed me back very quickly to confirm my reservation.

We had an amazing dinner, everything was perfect. The tasting menu was flawless, we enjoyed to the max. Wonderful service!

I came here in December 2022, and if there is any restaurant that deserves a 5 star, it's this one. I'm only rating it now thinking back and comparing it to all the other Michelin restaurants I've been to. Perfect service, food, presentation, atmosphere... And they don't just take your money either. I had a $300 reservation, and they insisted I get more food to get my money's worth, and were genuine and respectful. Highly recommended. Worth traveling to Lisbon for this place alone.
