"If you’ve never eaten lunch or dinner 120m above ground, you might want to enjoy the experience in this unique dining space in the famous Vasco da Gama tower that dominates Lisbon’s skyline, with its impressive views of the city, the Tagus, and even the magical Troia peninsula (access is via a panoramic lift that takes exactly 50 seconds to reach the top, hence the name of the restaurant). At the helm is Rui Silvestre, a chef with an extensive career working in renowned restaurants and famous for being the youngest chef in Portugal to hold a coveted Michelin star. His cooking is showcased on a single menu entitled “Fauna and Flora” (10, 12 or 14 courses) that is full of surprises thanks to its incomparable flavours and use of local ingredients, as well as spices and citrus notes that result in superb combinations. A good example is his Smoked Eel dish, featuring a delicate dash of massala, subtle shavings of beetroot, and a refreshing touch of lemon." - Michelin Inspector

We had an amazing experience here starting with the dedicated elevator ride that takes you to the restaurant. I would highly recommend going before sunset to take advantage of the spectacular view. The whole evening we were well looked after and everyone was so friendly. The atmosphere is very professional but not stuffy - we felt very comfortable and had a lot of fun! The food was interesting and delicious, so much attention to detail and thought put into every serving. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to come here!

The Restaurant already stuns on arrival with the incredible view. Service is outstanding. It shows that the staff loves what they are doing. We had lots of fun and there was no Detail missed. We had an amazing non alcoholic drink pairing. After I had made a joke about wanting to eat one of the amuse bouches "another 25 times" they served it again between courses. 🤣 The menu was one of the best we had in years. There were some really spicy components in the menu, which is unusual, as the michelin Chefs usually don't dare to go above the "spicyness level" of regular western european food. Those dishes always came with the information to test the spicy component separately. We loved it! Great experience, thanks a lot! The only open question in our mind was: how can this place have only 1*? The Level of just everything would easily justify 2* or even 3*.

Wow wow wow! What an experience. We are not frequent Michelin star goers but have been to one before but have to say this was way better than the one we went to. The service, location, view and attention to detail was out of this world and the food was a taste sensation through every ‘moment’ as they call them. Intricate and clever and incredibly flavoursome it was in our head going to be something we would never do again( it’s very pricey) or totally intrigue us into the next one. It certainly delivered and was worth the expense as Rui Silvestre and his team did an outstanding job. We were simply stunned at how good this experience was. Thank you for an unforgettable journey of food!

From the moment we took the elevator ride to the beautiful restaurant overlooking the lights of Lisbon, through the meal and the final goodbye from the gathered staff; we were cared for and looked after at the highest level my wife and I have experienced. Our table was serviced at one time or another by 8 staff persons. Each one was knowledgeable in what was being served, how the food was prepared and in what order we should eat the various offerings in each course. We chose the 11 course tasting menu, there are also 12 and 14 course options. Each course is an appropriate portion, perfect for the taste and what the chef wanted to convey yet not so much food that you were too full to enjoy the desert. The preparation and presentation each course was outstanding. Our 11 course meal for two people with a moderate priced bottle of wine totaled about $560 euro. This level of meal and service would have been double the price in a big city in the U S. We definitely felt we received a great deal of value for what we paid. If you are in Lisbon and want a special night, I would not miss the opportunity to make a reservation and enjoy 50 Seconds (how long it takes the elevator to reach to restaurant). We also booked a room at the attached Myriad Hotel. The Hotel is also a very nice experience. Jim Schrader

Top fine dining in Lisbon. Even among the top 3 we had worldwide. For non-alcoholic, the drink pairing is must. Great job.

Our Fifty Seconds was an infinite and timelessly AMAZING EXPERIENCE. The food was BEYOND DELICIOUS and TASTY! The staff (chef Leo, Marc, José, José Marta, Teresa and Ariana) were INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY and AWESOME! We are from Los Angeles, but definitely we are COMING BACK! If you are in Lisbon! It is a MUST! Ah! The view was fine too!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant and our experience tonight. Our waitress, Marcella, was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the evening. The wine pairings were thoughtfully curated and flowed seamlessly with each dish. It’s clear the chef spends a great deal of time with the team to bring a shared vision to life. We were even given a tour of the kitchen, which was spotless and truly impressive. As two people who own restaurants in the U.S., we were blown away by the level of care and detail here — it’s a truly special place and well worth the price. The executive chef spent a moment at our table and the sous chef was so gracious and took the time to chat with us, which made us feel especially welcome and appreciated. We will absolutely be back on our next trip to Lisbon!

Beautiful view, lovely service and food cooked to perfection. The scarlett prawn was to die for!
