Went here for dinner last night. Beautiful restaurant. It was very challenging to order since I wanted everything on the menu. The restaurant itself is gorgeous such a great look and vibe, the music was fun but not too loud. My only complaint is the area we were sitting in had very close tables so we felt like we were sitting in on our neighbors conversations. All in all a really fun night, we never felt rushed and left with huge smiles on our faces.

This is utterly the best brunch I've ever had so far. Quality food, quality service, great venue under such a humble price. I was truly impressed by their crostini - the bread seamlessly blended with the toppings and was at the same time crispy, soft, and not dry. Manchego, Mushroom, and Goat Cheese all tasted fabulous. It would not be too exaggerated to call The Mosaic of Vegetables a piece of art and I felt a sense of freshness overflowing from the veggies and nuts. The smoked salmon with poached eggs was also amazing - what else can I say. For dessert, I would strongly recommend their chocolate torte. In a nutshell, this is one of the few places where one wants to try everything on its menu and expects everything to be superb. I will definitely come back and check out its dinner menu!

Spontaneous find that we were happy to make and made a welcome rest from the shopping on Melrose. Comfortable chairs and sofas to eat at in a bright and airy room, surrounded by fragrant herbs. The food was delicious, if somewhat pricey. The service was impeccable We will be back when next in town

The restaurant is very beautiful. I went to this restaurant at brunch time so the menu is brunch menu. I really enjoyed SIGNATURE CROSTINI. I love 'GOAT CHEESE and Caramelized Onion' very much. You cannot miss this bite. Absolutely, the restaurant name is Fig & Olive so another great menu is 'MARINATED OLIVES'. Do not forget to order this as well. Another two dishes, I would recommend are 'OCTOPUS CARPACCIO' and 'YELLOWFIN TUNA CARPACCIO'. For dessert or breakfast menu, I recommend 'FRENCH TOAST' and 'FIG & WALNUT PANCAKES'. However, a staff that served my table would rather forget the details about my brother was allergic to some ingredients, causing some dishes that were served out to contain that ingredients. Therefore, I deducted one star from rating.

Had a great night! Starting from the wine list to the special house drinks! The Mediterranean mule is one of my favorites! Got an opportunity to taste most of the menu, and over all I had a great time! I specially enjoyed the drinks and desserts here! This is a good place to kill some time with some good friends, and the service is great!

I appreciate and enjoy everything about this restaurant! The food, the wine, the service.... It was all excellent! We ended up mixing two desserts together that just made it all the more fabulous!

Came here for DineLA dinner on Friday night, and it was such a wonderful experience. There’s no self-parking, so you’ll have to valet or take an Uber. We sat in the lounge area by the bar and the DJ, and it was so cozy and comfy with plush chairs and bench seating. I loved the tunes the DJ spun, especially when The Girl From Ipanema—one of my all time favs—came on. Great atmosphere, kind of a classy casual with lovely foliage and bright lights throughout. I got the La Vie En Rose signature cocktail, and it was sweet and fruity with lovely dried rosebud garnishes. The Signature Crostini was the highlight of my meal, and totally worth the $9 supplement. You could choose from a huge selection, and my favorite was surprisingly the beef tartar. So tender and delicate with the nice crunch of toast. The mushroom croquette was highly recommended, and I liked the truffle flavor but it was quite heavy and greasy for my taste. The truffle risotto was really good, but I was slightly disappointed by the filet mignon. “Medium” came pretty done on the edges. Maybe I should go for medium rare next time to get more redness. Brûléed cheesecake was good, but the pot de crème was even better. The milk chocolate had a slight bitterness that I would attribute to darker chocolate, and it complemented the rich creaminess of the dessert.

Great atmosphere and food is generally good. The appetizer came late. The server was polite but was pushing us to order bottled water and drinks. I did not like the burger. The patty looked like a frozen one you buy at supermarkets and did not taste good.
