Small, cozy, clean, homey space. Not a large menu but lots of interesting and fairly healthy option (curry rice, ratatouille, butter squash mash, stewed apples and beets, etc.). Service was stellar and everyone who worked there was super nice.
However, they seemed to be running out of food. When I went to order, they told me they were out of dark meat, and then just after I ordered, the manager (or owner??) came out of the kitchen and told them to cut off the orders for white chicken too. When he realized I wasn't going to get my chicken, he apologized profusely, refunded me my entire meal and gave me a free bottled soda, my pick of their sides, and some sliced chicken that he said was "a sample from a new side item they were considering adding to the menu, a chicken caesar salad." I initially just picked 2 free sides and he insisted on giving me a third because he felt so bad. So I got quite a bit of food for free.
The chicken was a little dry in my opinion, which is the only reason I take off a star, but I want to be clear that I was NOT served their normal chicken; mine was sliced and wasn't even meant to be served that day according to the manager, and I saw that everyone else before me who got normal meals had full chicken legs and breasts, not what I had.
So the service was awesome and I attribute the odd experience to the fact they've only been open about 2 weeks. I fully intend to come back in a week or two after they get their process kinks straightened out; I'm looking forward to trying the dark meat chicken :)
