Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. Buellton

Decided to stop by Figueroa Mountain since we had a quick fam getaway to Solvang. Buellton is just few mins, so why not. :) Had a quick beer hop from one brewery to another! Always been a fan of Figueroa Mountain (Hoppy Poppy, Point Conception and if going with a double, Lizards Mouth). It was pretty chill during our visit on a Tuesday afternoon. Just a few folks were there. Was hoping to get a pint of Guava Point Conception since it was on the taplist monitor but beertender checked and wasn't available, so went with the regular Point. Still delicious, cool and crisp. Enjoyed it regardless. They have a pretty large chill front area with games for the kiddos. Nice to see Plinko game (saw that at Costco last week & thought it was cool) and Tetris. Wish Guava would be available next time! Thanks and cheers!

Good beer, good food, dog-friendly inside and outside. Fire pits and lounge outside or pool tables inside upstairs. Enjoyed the pretzels and battered fish tacos. Crowd was friendly. Couldn't ask for more!

5/12/23 update: The one constant here is the cool atmosphere and relaxed outdoor patio. It's too bad the food quality and service are too frequently inconsistent. Today I grabbed a beer and ordered some food and sat on the empty outdoor patio. After 30 minutes I asked the server how long it should take. She apologized and said she would check on my order. Another 15 minutes passes and people who arrived 20 minutes after me are eating their food. Bottom line, the server forgot to check on my order and the bar tender said it probably didn't get printed out in the kitchen, so I cancelled the order and went elsewhere. No manager in sight... Original review: They've done some remodeling and it's definitely a cool, airy place outside. Pricey but great beers, the citrus blonde is refreshing on a hot day. We went there for lunch on a weekday but unfortunately they were short staffed so no food until 3.

Always a staple when we’re passing through Buellton, CA on our way up the Central Coast! Fig Mountain has always been one of my favorite breweries and always delivers on delicious brews! The vibe is great, with the downstairs taproom and kitchen with an upstairs area and another draft station for those busy days! They have a shuffleboard on the second level too! They also have a very large patio and yard area to enjoy and talk with your family and friends! The food is great! We always try something new when we go and every meal has hit the spot! If you like good beer (who doesn’t), then make this your next stop! Cheers!

This brewery has some very good beer brews. Unfortunately, I have to give this place a negative review. Both google and the hours on the door state it closes at 9 pm. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I, along with my girlfriend, showed up and ordered some drinks and food, only to find out by one of the waitresses that we needed to hurry up because they were closing at 8 pm. Mind you, this is a Saturday night a little over 7:30 pm. The front door stated they close at 9 pm, and so does Google. We were waiting on a little over 11 other friends who were about 10 minutes behind us to show up. We had already picked some tables and a pool table for our group. We had ordered drinks and food and were never told they were going to close right after ordering our food. Well, I walked back downstairs and asked the other workers at the counter about their closing time. They stated they were closing at 8 pm. Our friends were just walking in the door. The other staff said that they closed at 8 pm every Saturday. Why the heck would you lead people to believe you close at 9 pm? It's totally unprofessional, and we will never go back there again. We canceled our order and finished our drinks since we had already started to drink. We told our friends to go to Firestone brewery about a mile or two away. We ended up closing Firestone Brewery after 10 p.m., and they were very professional. Not like Figueroa Mountain Brewery, which is all BS. They lied about their closing times. Figueroa Mountain Brewery is on Industrial Way, Buellton, CA. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They don't care about their customers. They only care about taking your money and rushing you out the door an hour before their actual closing time, which is posted on their front door and on Google. This place sucks dont waste your time and money on some place that doesn't care about their customers.

Had a great time here meeting up with family. They had plenty of room for all of us, even our giant dog! The beer was great and the appetizers were delicious! Loved the ambiance too!

Fun, lively environment, friendly service, delicious food, refreshing beer! I had the nachos and they were excellent! My husband had the carnitas tacos, and throughly enjoyed them. Generous portions too. Outside you’ll find corn hole, big blocks and a stage. Family and Pet Friendly. Cheers! 🍻

Love hanging out at this place. The staff is awesome. The beer is great and the ambiance is awesome especially when they have music. Bring the kids and dogs. The outdoor patio is great.

Great outdoor atmosphere. Loaded tots were great. Good service at the bar. Hidden gem in the mountains! Will come back again when I'm in the area!

This is one of those instances where I wish Yelp would allow half stars. My real rating would be 3.5/5, however I don't know if we can give a full fair review only getting one beer and two appetizers. Danish red lager was 5/5. For someone who doesn't enjoy beer that much, I really liked it. Food was 2/5. Brussels were advertised as crispy, but there was way too much liquid and the liquid was way too tangy. Definitely needed them to be crisped up and other ingredients to cut the tart. Also got some tortilla chips that were just okay, but the salsa was good! Cool ambience, great outdoor area.

The best brewery around Santa Barbara with the most amazing staff. We've had the pleasure of enjoying the brews and hanging with the crew at Mammoth's Bluezapalooza for the last 4 years plus. Can"t go wrong with a hoppy poppy or any brews on tap.Love the crew and the beers. cheers to Figueroa!

Visiting area and did wine tasting and also beer and we came based on wine tasting person. Had a couple of flights. Most of their beers are nice with good flavors. Nice place.

The service in very friendly and welcoming. You order at counter and they give you a buzzer. When it goes off you get your food. Fantastic outside eating area. It is very large and offers shade, sunny spots, and heaters. They have a large beer selection and the beers we chose were outstanding. Great flavor and freshness. We had Chicken Caesar wrap, the Buttermilk Chicken sandwich, and the Classic burger. All were very good. The chicken sandwich comes in the regular version and Nashville Hot version. I had the regular which was still a bit spicy. I ordered the tots and received a huge portion of them. They were very good. Everyone enjoyed their meal and i definitely will come back later.

What happened to the food? It was so good before, now it's a new company for the kitchen. They're doing a remodel, fine. It says burgers are coming soon, did they sell out or something? It's too bad if they did, the nachos were blah and way too thick of microwaved cheese. It is not what it used to be

Tuesdays aren't just for tacos! If you haven't tried the nachos at Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co., then you are missing out. They have the best nachos I've tasted at any brewery hands down. Don't forget to pair their delicious food with one of their refreshing craft beers. The line to order drinks/food moved at a slow pace, but food was out in a decent amount of time. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with games inside (pool, shuffle board) and outside (Jenga, Connect 4, etc.) as well. If you can, highly suggest taking advantage of their HH.

Love this brewery! So cool and family and dog friendly. Great beer! Great space and service. If you like pale ales try the mosaic. Food is great as well!

Ambience is great with plenty of outdoor seatings. Bartenders and workers are all super friendly and helpful. The buzzer for my food didn't work so the workers noticed and brought me my food! Also super dog friendly spot. Yay for Fido!

Being locals to the area, my mom and I have been to Figs many times. This particular time we decided to take advantage of the buy one get one beer flight for restaurant week! I was feeling some fruity vibes but also can't resist a stout so I was able to have these tastes accommodated with the beer flight. The lovely people pouring the drinks promptly got to our order so it came out right away. Wanting some food with our flights, my mom and I got an order of chicken tenders with fries. However, we asked for the "crack" sauce on them instead of the usual sauce (per the recommendation of an employee). The order is very large and shareable! The ranch is creamy and goes great on both the tenders and fries. The chicken tenders were hot and had the perfect ratio of chicken to breading. The fries were hot and still had a slight crisp on the outside. It was the perfect meal to have alongside some cold beer. We sat inside, by the beers, to eat our food and there is plenty of decoration to meet the eye. A vibe marked by beer and ranching. Overall, I've always had a great time at Figs with my mom and will continue to come back.

My boyfriend and I wanted to eat burgers but didn't want to go to the normal places. I found this place and we decided to check it out! We were pleasantly surprised by the laid back atmosphere and delicious food! Great service as well!

The Tri Tip Cesar Salad was fantastic so was the non alcoholic beer selection they have! Definitely will be back

Fun environment! Plenty of spots to sit around with small or big crowds. Not too many kids but I can see it getting crowded with a bunch. The beer was good. I got a Michelada. The pretzel was yummy too.

Visited this brewery for the first time and AJ provided an amazing customer service experience. I even bought a tee shirt because he recommended the "Agua Santa Cerveza" beer to drink and I liked this beer flavor so I knew the tee was an instant buy

Labor Day with limited food menu. Lots of beer choices, some wine, and a few cocktails. Tri-tip nachos were highly touted in previous reviews. Ordered and after some time waiting for our "food pager" to beep, hubs checked on order. I think it was forgotten because significant portion was cool. A bit disappointing but the meat was sliced thin, spiced right and tender, really the highlight of this dish. I would try this again but insist on it being warm/hot. Hubs had soda and for me, a beer margarita that was tasty and refreshing. Fair amount of folks here on a holiday afternoon - all ages including children. A large family group sat in a dedicated area with couches and chairs. Overall a fun, relaxed vibe around the corner from the Flying Flags resort. Recommend ~ EG Eats

It's nice to walk into an establishment where all the staff is happy and helpful! You can tell they have a well-oiled operation (that sometimes becomes overwhelmed) but they really do try to take care of their customers. The food is great, noticeably improved over the past couple of years. The addition of an expanded outdoor seating area was brilliant. Family, dog and handicapped- friendly, it is welcoming to everyone. Some special coudo's to the bar staff- Ashlyn, Joanie, Miraha, Alec, Marko and especially Trisha and Leslie. Everyone does a great job across the board!

We came back again and it happened to be on Taco Tuesday (i got the tri tip tacos) and also the tri tip cheesesteak. They even have trivia Tuesday nights, gotta come back for that in the future. I got the Rose on tap which is really good. The tacos are half off on taco Tuesday- really great deal. Forgot to take a picture of the wings but their also really good! Javier was really awesome and went out of his way to talk to us and give my fiancé a sample of beer to try. He was super helpful and just extra friendly and funny and he made the experience even better! So thanks Javier :) we will always come back here when we visit Solvang.

It was my first time here and not disappointed at all. I arrived on a Friday around 2pm and there was plenty of parking available. You apparently walk inside and place your order then sit where you please and your order will be brought to you. I ordered the Smash Burger with tots and I had the Point Conception which is a California Style IPA. The burger was delicious and the IPA paired well with my meal. It was pretty empty when I got there but started to fill up with folks arriving around 3pm. I did notice that you have to go order your drink each time you want one, maybe it was because there was only one person waiting on tables...It's a great place to come in groups and it is pet and family friendly. It is the beginning of February 2025 and it was not too cold outside but there is an indoor area where you can have your food. Definitely will be coming back to check out the live band next time and to try more of their beer selection.

After reading the reviews i was really excited to try this place. Who doesn't like some grub with a freshly brewed beer? Walked in, 638 pm. Lady says sorry we are closed. Wtf. The sign says 8. Didn't even try the food but this lady had that snarky ass "sorrrryyy" attitude. Nope, your beer now tastes like 3 skunks pissed in a jar, left it outside for a week and i didn't even try it. Thats an old covid trick, closing over an hour. I guess they don't like to make any money. Food, who knows. Beer? Who knows. Service and ambience? Trash. Oh well, went to industrial eats. 100x better.

So while I was on a business trip, I visited the Figueroa mountain brewing company a few times and they were all wonderful experiences. One of my friends a few years ago turned me onto one of their beers and it became unavailable at my local purchasing spot. So I was happy to be so close to this brewery when I was on a this trip. I went in and was able to enjoy some of their absolutely delicious food, I recommend the Carnitas tacos for sure. I ended up picking up some merchandise as well which they have plenty of. If you're ever in the area and you fancy a nice brewery that also has an outdoor eating area and music on Sundays I believe outside, hit Figueroa mountain brewing company, and relax for a little while. Came by on a busy Sunday Afternoon and this place was PACKED especially the large outside patio. They have a large food menu -- but we stopped in for a beer or two. You order inside and bring it out. Only one line for both food and beer orders -- so it moved pretty slow. Maybe when it's busy add a second pay station -- or beer only line? The dog friendly patio is the star of the show -- lots of tables, fake grass, shade, etc. Maybe we went on the wrong day but there were TONS of unsupervised kids screaming and running around (while the parents were boozing away). No staff supervision at all so be forewarned if you want to enjoy a peacefull pint. Next time we come it will be during school hours!

This was my first visit to Figueroa. My husband had been a few times before they started offering food. The entrance was a little hard to decipher, if you hadn't been before (it's down a wide alleyway off Industrial Way). The staff was very helpful in letting us know where to order & where we could sit (they had a few ground floor tables, an upstair area & a generous, outdoor area). Our group ordered the Baja Fish Tacos, the Tri-tip tacos & the Tri-tip Cheesecake. My husband ordered his favorite drink, the Davy Brown Ale. Soda drinks are also available. The fish tacos were tasty; the menu says these tacos have cilantro but the greens sure looked like watercress. I would never have considered watercress for the fish taco but it was a wonderful addition. Both taco dishes include what seemed like, homemade chips with salsa. The corn tortillas were excellent. The tri-tip tacos had a good portion of meat but weren't especially tasty. The cheesecake sandwich was very good. The patio area was casual, spacious & welcoming.

We came here on a recommendation and had the nachos and fish tacos. The food was mediocre and actually really greasy and messy. What was atrocious was the service and the wait. The person who was supposed to be taking orders kept handing people their food. We waited 15 min before we could even order and the proceeded to wait 45 min before our food arrived. Pass on this place and go to Firestone instead where we had quick and attentive service and tasty food and beer.

Second time @Figueroa Mtn. Brewery. Love vacationing at Solvang, and Fig is my new favorite spot for lunch and some great beers before enjoying the kitschy Danish town. Javier there was very hospitable, courteous and charming. He let me sample one of his favorite beers "Point Conception," great fruity ipa. Overall awesome atmosphere! Noticed some bar games and billiards I will partake on my next visit

Twice a year at Thanksgiving and Christmas we come up for a week. This is a mandatory stop Atleast three times during the week. The beer is amazing especially the hoppy poppy and point conception. The Parmesan tater tots and the nachos are fantastic. If you don't like spice get the nachos without jalepenos. Sit outside and play corn hole or sit by a fire place. Love it!

Great place to be a mug member! Great food, friendly staff and great atmosphere! Food is great with many options and I'm sure more new items are coming with a new head chef in charge!

Wow! Talk about a hidden gem. We were fortunate enough to find this place on our recent visit. The atmosphere, food and service all above average. Worth checking out.

We have always loved their beers and even went to one of their anniversary party years back. Bartenders are friendly and are generous with their splash tastings, even offering up suggestions of similar beers that we may like. Food is awesome, service outstanding, ambience spot on and the other patrons, locals and visitors alike are super friendly. When you get a chance, definitely stop by here! On the other hand the Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. Los Olivos tasting room is the exact opposite of the Buellton tap room. I wish I was able to get the name of the woman bartender who was rude and totally ignored us when we came in. We even got her attention after waiting for 10 minutes since no one was behind the bar. She acknowledged she was the bartender but proceeded to continue chatting away with another co-worker instead of attending to us. We just walked away disgusted by her aloofness and lack of hospitality. We were here a few years back and there was a guy bartender who was super friendly and nice, that's why we came back here again. Management please take note!!! Won't be coming back to this location!

Great spot in Buellton! It's situated in a warehouse area so parking was easy to find. We got a flight and the server was nice to give us two extra pours on the house. We also tried the loaded nachos with tri-tip and the tater tots. Portions were large so it would be good to share with a group. There's lots of seating outside with large tables with benches, couches, and seats by the fire. It's also dog friendly. I'd definitely go here again if I'm staying in the area.

Had a great time at Figueroa Mountain Brewery with my husband and fur baby! Good drinks, GREAT beer! Try the Lizard's Mouth double IPA.. It's got a NICE kick! Elise was AMAZING as always!

It pains me to write this review but it seems customer service is in decline at this location. I've been a Mug Club member for a few years now. Had an incident recently with the staff that was absolutely ridiculous and frankly, insulting. The out-of-town friends I had with me couldn't believe what had transpired. What an impression to make on visitors! I emailed the Mug Club Manager Cheyenne and the Tap Room Manager Tony. I was told they'd look into the incident and get back to me. Weeks ticked by, heard nothing. Emailed them to inquire if there was any updates -- crickets, never heard back. A number of my friends who are Mug Club members have stated that the customer service is in decline and that perhaps the actual business is too. It's a shame -- as a local, I really enjoy Fig. However, I hate any business that has zero respect for its premium paying members.

We did the nachos with tri tip and the carnitas tacos. Both were amazing. The cheese on the nachos is more of a sauce than melted cheese which was great because it was evenly distributed over all the chips. The tri tip was super tender and marinated - very good!

Stopped into Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company while we were in Buellton hanging out with some new friends we met while wine tasting. My wife ordered a flight of IPA's and I ordered a flight of dark beers. We always share our flights since we both want to try everything a brewery has to offer. The beer was good, but the Santa Barbara Citrus blond and the Danish Red Lager really stood out to us on this very warm day. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather, outdoor seating, new friends and some very cold beer. The staff was not particularly friendly and there was a problem with flies outside but for the most part well worth visiting if you enjoy craft beer and are staying in Solvang which is only 4 miles away.

We were staying for a couple days in the area decided to go to some places that we had not been to. We went about 11 right when they were opening. It was easy to find and I was very excited to check this place out. They have ample outside seating in front and in back. We went it where directed to the bar to order. I asked the girl what she recommended as I told her what I liked in beers, she suggested one. We ordered a California burger with fries to share and two blonde 101 beers. We were given our number and went out back to find a place to sit. The place is a very nice size with firepits that are lit in the evenings. There was a corn hole game and its just so welcoming. Our food came out quickly and was super tasty. The bacon was crispy just how I like it. The beer was refreshing and I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back for sure.

Personally, I like Figueroa Mtn brewery more than the other big brewery in town. The beer selection is great. I enjoyed my burger and fries that I ordered. What I like the most here is the outdoor patio area. There is a variety of seating areas, fire pits and games like cornhole. It's a really fun place when the weather is nice. I hope to come back again soon.

Have been to the other two fig mountain breweries in SB and Los Olivos but this one is by far the best of the 3. The outside vibe is nice with a great view of the brewery tanks , lots of seating options, and games to play. The bartenders knew their beers and offered good suggestions according to my preferences. Definitely recommend this place.

awful, I am so disappointed with the quality of the service and the quality of the food. what a waste of $70. they gave us a broken pager, and never bothered walking out our food, even though we were one of maybe four tables. our food came out cold and oily, the server could care less about us being customers. my advice, buy enough beer to get drunk enough not to mind wasting your hard earned dollars on frozen fish and chips and sandwiches better zapped at home in a microwave.

We stopped in a Figueroa Mountain Brewing while driving through town on a road trip. It was extremely crowded and, in my opinion understaffed. The line was out the door to order beer and food and the one person working behind the counter, and single server delivering food both seemed overwhelmed. I absolutely can't knock off any stars for any shortcoming of their service though -- they were doing the best they can! I have to say the food and beer were a little bit disappointing though. I tried a flight of beers and most were underwhelming. My favorites were their more standard regular lineup: the Davey Brown and the Amber lager. My burger was kind of dry, and the tots were overly oily and bland. Don't get me wrong, it was still good but could be a lot better.

I been here twice once in July and then again last weekend. Both times the service was great. Food is good too.. I love their beer. Funny story I actually went on a beer run 4 hour drive because Figueora is my maiden name and I love their beer too. I came here to buy beer to give to my siblings for Christmas since I can't find it at any local beer near me.

Elise very great!!! Made perfect micheladas and 100% recommend to be behind bar other girls not so much. Asked for IPA didn't know which one it was and then asked for a michelada... just look at the photo below, took 3 girls to make it afterwards and gave attitude when told them that's not a michelada

Always a great place to visit! The ambiance is amazing and there is space to run for the kiddos. Beer is delicious and they have wine/cider as well. The staff was a bit flustered and running around, but he said he was the only one there.

My family and I went to the brewery today. Apparently they were short staffed. We understood and were very patient. We waited for our food for an hour. We noticed that the people that had ordered after us had received their food. My husband went to check on our food and it was sitting on the counter. My husband's order wasn't among the rest. My daughter, my mom, and I had ordered chicken sandwiches and they had been sitting for a while. When we finally received our food, all meals were cold. We finished up our drinks and left. We will not be back.

Our first trip to Buellton & this was our lunch stop! Located in a business park area, it's tucked away off the main road but I loved the place. The outdoor seating area is spacious & family friendly. The burger was delish & hubby enjoyed his beer on draft. The staff was friendly! Not sure when we'll be back in the area, but this is a lovely stop!

Had the pleasure to visit the Brewery in Buellton with my cousin this past week! Everything was amazing including the food, scenery, and service. The atmosphere was so peaceful and the beer was delightful. Elise showed me and my cousin a great time! I'll definitely be returning

First time here and worst experience ever. The staff literally ignores you upon arrival we almost walked out. The music was so loud couldn't even hear what the girl at the counter who took our order. We contemplated walking out but decided to give it a try. It was not explained to us where to pick up the food when we placed our order. We sat outside unfortunately another table's dog was whining under the table the entire time. Not a place for people who enjoy want a relaxing environment.

Great food, service and beer! This cozy little spot is pet friendly with a relaxed atmosphere that's great for families and friends. Highly recommended by locals after a long week.
