This restaurant is part of the Ibersostar Berkley shore hotel in miami where i stayed. The breakfast was good but portions were relatively small and they dont have a variety of non alcoholic drinks and their fruit smoothies are quite pricey at 11 dollars per drink. The downside of the place is that its quite small they have only a few tables outside. I also dined at this restaurant twice for dinner and i can say the dinner was better than the breakfast. The food is good and dinner portions are bigger. The chicken piccata is very good and as the salmon, the ravioli was disappointing. We ate indoors which is also small but nice. Prices are miami style ao not cheap at around 30 dollars per dish. overall i would say was good

Google
Amazing atmosphere and delicious Italian cuisine. The fettuccini and clams in white sauce tasted outstanding; best I’ve ever had. Very attentive staff and timing was right on point with salad and entree. Perfect evening!! Thank you Fi’lia for a great time with my wife!

Google
Server charged us $7 for a bottle of water instead of offering me water from the pitcher when I said I wanted regular water. Pasta was just ok. My friend had much better carbonara tonight at Maxine's down the street. Also, we sat at the table forever waiting on our check. Tip was already added in and thankfully we knew to look for that as a friend had already told me most restaurants do that here in South Beach.

Set inside an adorable restored Art Deco boutique hotel, Fi’lia serves up delicious hearty Italian. We dined on a Saturday night and opted for the Miami Spice menu. Tuna tartare was was a bit bland, no pizzazz really. The cheese stuffed zucchini was amazing, the tomato based sauce it’s served with is tangy with a nice subtle pepper kick. We both chose the tagliatelle bolognese, amazingly hearty & filling, a very generous portion - perfect dish. Panna cotta & chocolate mousse were a nice way to close the meal. Francesa was attentive & prompt, exactly what we look for when dining out. This Spice was a hit & we’ll be back to try to standard menu next time.

Google
I would avoid this place if possible, The service was good and they were attentive but the food was not good. The lasagna was $26 and came in what looked like an empty plate with a small lasagna in the middle, The portions are just too small and too expensive, $9 for a side of fries and $25 for a salad is not justified considering the location and the atmosphere of the place. I am also not a fan of automatically adding an 18% service charge and I generally try to avoid places that force these fees upon customers.

Given its 13 worldwide locations, I love the comfort of knowing that when traveling, I can probably find a BLT Steak restaurant nearby. Often, I just want a tried and true classic I can trust in delivering a seamless experience. After a seven-year run on Ocean Drive, the original BLT closed in May 2016. Now, we finally have a new South Beach location. Welcome back! BLT stands for Bistro Laurent Tourondel, named after the original owner 13 years ago when it first opened. Sorry, there’s no bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich on the menu. But you won’t miss it. What I tried: Foie Gras Empanadas Chicken Liver Pâté Salt Brick Chicken NY Strip- 28 Day Dry Aged BBQ Cream Corn Jalapeño Mashed Potatoes Guava Cheesecake Peanut Butter Chocolate Mousse Steak Tartare Tacos BLT Popovers Of course, you can expect USDA Prime steaks and 100% Naturally Raised Certified Black Angus beef to shine at BLT Steak. But there’s so much more to explore. Before I even made it to the appetizers, I enjoyed the complimentary rich Chicken Liver Pâté and the famous Popovers, a feast in itself. The Foie Gras Empanadas with the accompanying truffle shiitake vinaigrette were delightful. It surprised me to find out the empanada dough was actually yuca based. Talk about bringing a little bit of local flavor to the mix! The tender Salt Brick Chicken stole the show. Yes, it’s salty, but in the most toothsome perfect way. I was ecstatic to reunite with the Peanut Butter Chocolate Mousse at dinner’s end. It’s a dessert I’ve thought about for the last three years since I first had it at the Washington D.C. location. Happy to know it wasn’t a one time fling, this one is for keeps! Visit the new BLT Steak at the IBEROSTAR Berkeley Hotel location in Miami Beach, for that classic American steakhouse experience… with a Miami touch.

Google
“Honest Italian” - that’s a high bar and Fi'lia easily surpasses it. Warm, attentive staff, amazing food and tasteful outside seating. We were lucky and got a table for two without reservation, but I can imagine this restaurant will need reservations soon enough. Recommend!

Google
The service was spectacular. I had a Mai tai, teriyaki salmon slider, and a charcuterie cone. The service fell way above the food. With orices so high I expected alot quality. My salmoncame out a little cold not exactly hot and the flavors were there but it just didn't taste right. The cone on the other hand was executed amazingly. Would recommend that as an appetizer.

Yelp
We ate outside in this "European" style Italian restaurant. Menu consisted of fish and various pastas as well as steak. Overall we enjoyed everything

Jimmy M.

Yelp
Stopped by to try their Miami Spice menu and ordered the Grilled Tuna with heirloom black rice and Caponata. The Chef personally came out to ask how I would like it cooked and if I had any allergies and or requests for the dish. Personable touch. A lot of items on menu are made from scratch. There was a house made Ricotta Cavatelli that looked very good. Will be back to next week to try it. Service was very friendly and professional.

Yelp
This South beach location is no longer Fi'lia. It is a bistro with average food, small servings and over priced food.

Indigo P. N.

Yelp
The staff was Ultra nice and gave the birthday girl a glass of prosecco for her birthday. I really like the staff! Very friendly! The food was okay. It just needed a little bit more salt. I don't like having to actually use salt from a salt shaker. I really like for my food to be seasoned well before it comes to me. The one reason why I might try it again is due to the outdoor seating. Totally covered so nothing Falls in your food. I felt very relaxed while eating. Nice Ambiance to eat outside too! But just needed a little bit more seasoning on the food!

Eva V.

Yelp
Amazing Rissoto and chicken picata ! I was blown away by the service and ambience here. This place is a must for dinner if you are in south beach. Everyone came to check in on us, including Roberto the manager. Marcelo our server was out standing with the suggestions ! Love this please I will be sure to come again.

Yelp
This review is being written during the pandemic. The restaurant has several al fresco tables in the front patio. There is a fair amount of distance between tables and the area is well ventilated, with a great view of Collins Avenue, ideal for people watching. Our server, however, was wearing a mask that was not tight enough and it constantly fell off his face, exposing his nose and mouth. Mostly useless and unacceptable, but we didn't want to antagonize as the day was quite windy and the area had good air circulation. As for the food, it was hit and miss. The eggs Benedict - we ordered Canadian Bacon and Smoked Salmon - were nicely executed, served with a tasty petit salad. The pancakes, however, were not the best. They were mealy and tasted raw, the lemony berry compote did not taste of lemon and the portion was penurious and sad. All in all, great ambiance, poor enforcement of anti-COVID precautions among servers, and interesting, albeit failed, menu execution.

Yelp
Nice modern little restaurant located inside the Iberostar Berkeley Shore Hotel on Collins in Miami Beach about a block from the water. We had the place to ourselves on a Sunday afternoon. Glad I tried this place, but don't really care to return. SERVICE: No host present or greeting when we walked into the restaurant-I realized later that there's a host outside right by the sidewalk of the hotel. After waiting a bit inside, we were seated. Andrea wasn't our server, but we learned he's from Italy and he did a fantastic job describing the dishes in the menu when we asked him for help. FOOD: Antipasti- Creamy Burratina-good Crispy calamari-good Entree- Lemon pepper chicken-good Mushroom risotto-good Dessert- Frutti Di Bosco Olive cake - delicious! Panna cotta- not great Drinks- Peach Bellini-good PARKING: This restaurant doesn't have valet, but their neighbor's valet is $24. There's also a parking garage around the corner of restaurant on 16th St. (You must keep the ticket with you and pay at the machine by the elevator BEFORE you return to your car).

Yelp
Food: Decent Italian dining for a restaurant south of NY. Small serving sizes for an Italian restaurant. Parking: Garage and street parking. Easy to get parking. Bonus Points: The staff was lovely and the atmosphere is peaceful. Great place for a date. If you need an Italian fix this restaurant will do. Revisit: No but it was a great experience!

Vivian J.

Yelp
Great breakfast spot. I love the Iberostar brand and have stayed at their resort in Jamaica. I was excited to find that this location was so close to where we were staying. The atmosphere was so nice. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and people watching. The breakfast croissant was yummy and the espresso" delicious. Also, I enjoyed their rum punch which was a perfect choice for a breakfast drink. Diego our server was attentive and friendly. It was a perfect start to our day.

Nancy A.

Yelp
Fresh bread with oil and vinegar to start. Tried their carpaccio and their burrata with prosciutto. I vote for the carpaccio, the tomatoes for the burrata were seasoned not to my liking. I tried the gnocchi 4 kinds of cheese and that was great! very creamy and thick. My friend had the bolognese and while not my cup of tea, he loved it. The cappuccinos were a bit too bitter for my taste. The location is kept very clean and you have outside sitting as well. I saw another table having breakfast items and the waffles looked great!

Scott G.

Yelp
The food here is sooo good!!!! Wow!!! Talk about being surprised - we started with the table side pasta and that's where amazing began - and then the food following continued to impress- We all will be back!!!

Kristen S.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Fi'lia last Friday. Service was great. Our wait staff was nice and attentive. The table bread, which I believe was focaccia, easily set the tone for a winning meal. For starters, the octopus & zucchini flower are must haves. The tuna tartare was also so fresh and really hit the spot on a warm day. The truffle gnocchi cacio e pepe is as rich & decadent as it sounds. Delicious!! The plates are pricey but luckily they do offer happy hour drinks & plates.

Kristen L.

Yelp
Amazing service and tasty food. The staff is ultra nice, welcoming, attentive. Let the owner know they hired an amazing crew. My raviolis were yummy!

Theresa O.

Yelp
Awesome dinner - menu was slightly different than what is posted online. We had a beautiful table on the patio and were easily and seamlessly moved inside when it started to rain. Inside was equally as nice. Our food was excellent- service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. I would definitely go back. Truly lovely night.

Samantha P.

Yelp
I am a guest here at the Iberostar Berkeley Hotel and Im excited that the Filia restaurant is located inside of the hotel. So far the customer service is unmatched. I had breakfast here this morning and everything was tasty! The mixed fruit is especially plentiful and fresh. The hotel & restaurant just re opened yesterday due to the quarantine. The bar and wait staff are very accommodating and seem happy to be back at work. Im currently enjoying happy hour. The bar area is clean and everyone is wearing masks and gloves which is a super plus. I'm sipping on Merlot! I would definitely recommend the bar & breakfast to anyone frequenting the area.

Nino R.

Yelp
$$$ The good; Cacio y pepe - lots of cheese here, no need for extra Bolognese - hearty with good chunks of meat Calamari - traditional recipe, crispy Service The bad; Pricing Parking - very close to Lincoln Road Good experience overall. The only complaint was pricing. Spent nearly $100 on 4 items (forgot to mention sparkling water) and gratuity. I've had better food for cheaper in different areas of the country but was happy to find a good Italian place on Collins in South Beach. Ghost ride the whip...

Kendall C.

Yelp
Leaving a review because I am so passionate about the mediocrity. The prices are way too high, this is like a shitty Cheesecake Factory with worse lighting. The seafood was grainy. They served wine and martinis in water glasses, because this ITALIAN ran out of wine glasses lmao I'm done. Wasn't awful but def fake nice

Edwige J.

Yelp
2019 Miami Spice: first restaurant of many in this miami Spice season. The reviews did not look to good but they didn't have many for this location so they deserved a shot. When my party arrived there was no one in the restaurant so everyone was very attentive. We received complimentary bread and our server toke our order right away. I had the tuna tartare and crispy snapper which were both delicious. Loved the sauce on the snapper. I did taste my friends zucchini flower which was surprisingly great. Down side my other friends stated the Caesar salad and the chicken breast was dry. The chocolate mousse was better than the panna cotta but I'm bias because I love everything chocolate. The panna cotta was really good as well. Hope you enjoy this Miami Spice season. Stay hungry my friends!!

Jon R.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant and Roberto is an amazing manager. Very taken care of and great people amazing vibe. I will come back

Samanyha O.

Yelp
We stopped by this restaurant the morning before our flight back to nyc and it was just okay. I ordered the waffles and they came out cold and undercooked. I had asked the waiter for a new order and he kind of scoffed at me...? It was a little odd but I got a fresh order which was warm and perfectly cooked after that. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and his plate was awesome! This is definitely a tourist attraction and a little overpriced.

Michelle V.

Yelp
The staff was great and very helpful, beautiful restaurant and perfect for big groups. Loved it!

Mike C.

Yelp
Food is subpar. Service was slow. 2nd glass of wine brought AFTER meal. But the big kick in the teeth is that the put a 20% tip on the bill and it is not optional. Ask the manager to remove it and he says "I can't". Point out that he can but he won't and he acknowledges that to be accurate.

Pamela K.

Yelp
I'm only giving two stars bcz the outdoor seating was curb appealing and the people watching is great! The tall dark short haired hostess was very curt and not pleasant from the beginning to the end, but her RBF was on point! Food was definitely mediocre for a place that claims to be simple Italian, carpaccio was ok, pizza ok crust wasn't very good and neither was the sauce. Flank steak was tough and needed seasoning, fortunately I travel with sea salt....we had to water ourselves and I even watered a table near us that was empty too. We had lunch there was only four tables outside with plenty of staff available, no excuse for anything to lapse in attention ever, let alone with this few tables.

Matt L.

Yelp
I truly enjoyed my meal at Fi'lia SB. While staying at the SLS a few blocks away, I was craving Italian as I found myself indulging in delicious seafood all trip. I knew of Fi'lia from their location at the SLS in Brickell, so decided to make a reservation at the south beach location and walk down. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the very friendly staff and taken care of promptly. After reviewing the mouth watering menu, I decided to opt for the Burrata appetizer with an addition of prosciutto for an extra $8. The restaurant didn't have many guests at the time, so the food was delivered to my table rather quickly. A few moments later, my peroni was also brought over. For my main meal, I opted for the gnocchi bolognese. I must say, be prepared to be full after this dish. As we all know, pasta (especially gnocchi) is as filling as it is. Adding the bolognese sauce to it only makes it that much more filling. As I was dining alone, I did feel that the food was coming out fast, which forced me to eat fast. Before my appetizer was even finished, my entree was on the table waiting for me. I do wish the restaurant would have slowed the pace of the meal and/or fired up my entree a little bit later. I was in and out in less than 1 hour, which is relatively fast for a dinner. I noticed the same thing take place with a couple sitting behind me. They actually arrived a few moments (less than 10 minutes) after me and left before me! They probably didn't have an appetizer, but regardless, that's quick! And, I'm from NYC - the capital of fast paced. The service was fantastic it was just really fast. And, I had no where to be because I was on vacation! The food itself was very good and I'd definitely come back here. Thanks for an awesome meal!

John J.

Yelp
Worst meal I've had in a long time. Terrible service, terrible food. My branzino had more bones than fish. The rest of our table didn't finish their meals as they were inedible. Couldn't get drink or water refills, or the check for that matter. When the check arrived, they already added a 20% gratuity to the bill - 20% for awful food and awful service. I feel like the victim of a robbery. Do your palate and your wallet a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Shalini M.

Yelp
This restaurant was great starting with the service and ending with the food. The staff were all incredibly nice and accommodating!

Emily C.

Yelp
Delicious! The online hours say they open at 7 but they don't open until 8. Music doesn't go on until 9. Great breakfast!!! Berry cup is not worth $14.

Dale B.

Yelp
Small restaurant inside the Berkeley Hotel. We had the gnocchi and a special for the night which was Cacio e Pepe prepared table side with pecorino cheese and shaved truffle. The food was excellent! We were so surprised and could Not stop talking about how good it was! It was probably the best meal we had on our week long trip to Miami, and we had some very expensive meals. This was top. The tiramisu was also really good. We found the restaurant to be very covid clean. Highly recommend.

Emily M.

Yelp
Came due to high ratings but we weren't impressed. Maybe it was the service that was not great at all. Our waitress was cold and never around. We got our own water. It's an Italian restaurant and there is no bread. The desert options are very limited.

Alondra J.

Yelp
I enjoyed the food here. Their avocado toast was delicious and their caesar salad was fresh and flavorful it's a must to try. The customer service was nice and professional. Adrian was my serve he was really nice and precessional and loves serving his customers. In the end it's a great restaurant that people must go to :)

gayane g.

Yelp
The best experience on our first day in Miami. Angelo and Andre were excellent and so nice at giving their advice on what to eat and where to go. The food their pasta is homemade and delicious. We had the seafood pasta and linguine. The desert at the end is a must pannacotta. We actually felt like a were in Italy!!! Great experience.

Bridget H.

Yelp
We wanted a nice restaurant without the insane prices on Ocean Drive and we found it!! I would come back here for any special occasion, or simply a good meal in South Beach. We split the Caesar salad, gnocchi and chicken piccata and all were fabulous! Our server, Marcelo L. made sure everything was perfect and even went out of his way to write down a few local spots for us to check out while we stay here.

Ivan Y.

Yelp
I went here on a trip and ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara, it was way too salty where I couldn't finish my dish. The other dishes were also salty but the desserts were moderate.

Bridget B.

Yelp
Busy. I was patient and tolerant. It rained so guest came inside. Totally underwhelmed with dinner. Chicken parmesan bland. Pasta sauce for spaghetti bland. Had lunch day prior and enjoyed. Next time in south beach would not return. Expected much more from dinner, and chose a basic dish that anyone even home cooks can do ok. I got less!

Marietta P.

Yelp
We sat for 15 minutes and no one came. Finally gave us water then waited another 5 minutes till waiter showed up. Don't do it. Restaurants are a dime a dozen I'm in South Beach. There were literally 3 people in the restaurants. Everyone was just standing around.

Luli R.

Yelp
We were on our way to another restaurant when we called an audible after seeing this. The staff was very friendly, knew their menu well and always made sure we were comfortable, masks, gloves, outdoor dining, QR code menus, etc. food was delicious, drinks were very well made and smooth, and they offered a locals discount. We're definitely coming back to brunch! Ps - sorry I didn't take a pic of the food, I ate it too fast. Lol.

Jesus P.

Yelp
No bueno. My sense is there was a change in the kitchen. The carbonara was AWFUL. Service is good though.

Debbie O.

Yelp
The food is excellent. 3 course meal was well worth it. Service was excellent! Three Course meal

Tyler M.

Yelp
We wandered in off the street and were pleasantly surprised! We had a great lunch here, service was fast and friendly. Food prices were slightly lower than other places in Miami Beach! Drinks were great and appropriately strong. This place is going on my list to return next time I'm in Miami!

Drew P.

Yelp
Delicious Sunday brunch on South Beach. Very fresh and reasonably priced. It's very nice to sit out on their terrace and enjoy a lazy Sunday. Friendly service. Park at the 16th street garage around the corner.

Alex L.

Yelp
Not sure those folks should be cooking Italian food. A cheese pizza is not a Margharita pizza and when your waiter blatantly tells you that the tomatoes and basilic are under the cheese...you ask yourself...where are the Italians in this joint? To top it all off, the floor manager comes by and essentially tells you he knows the Margharita isn't one...so why have it on the menu, why allow it to come out of the kitchen? Do yourself a favor, go directly to Pane & Vino

Amy A.

Yelp
We stopped here for dinner on our first night in Miami. We sat outside and enjoyed the vibe. Drinks and service was great. I ordered the carbonara, which was okay. I had the best carbonara while in Venice, Italy and I am still trying to find one equally delicious. My husband had the lobster ravioli and absolutely loved it! Overall we really enjoyed the restaurant.

Jenn A.

Yelp
Good "social hour" for wine & food! I wouldn't pay full price for their food though. Service was excellent, they were very attentive & friendly. Nice outdoor seating, pretty & well spaced.

Amanda B.

Yelp
The best experience I've ever had. The service was amazing and the food was delicious! I got the lobster raviolis (pictured). I forgot my retainers on the table like an idiot when I left, and when I came back they practically had the whole staff looking for them, and they found them! I'd give them more stars if I could. Will definitely come back when I visit Miami Beach again

Heather M.

Yelp
Food is great. I come here frequently. The pasta is really well done. The salad are simple but fresh and delicious. The deserts are very good. They have fantastic cocktails as well. The only issue i have is that the servers are all over you during your eating time but completely disappear for 20 to 30 minutes when you need to leave!! I thought it was a one time thing but it happens every single time! Im not sure if they're trained to do this, but it definitely encourages walk outs! We almost had to leave without paying once because we needed to go and couldn't find anyone for awhile. If you're in a time restriction make sure you ask for the check when you are finished ordering and have the server at your table. If not, you'll be waiting for awhile.

Michael G.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I LOVED it here. The French was amazing!!!! Maybe the best I ever had. Everything else was great as well. Can't wait to come back.

Stephen F.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst service ever. My friend has a peanut allergy and they were so it accommodating, highly don't recommend. Also an Italian restaurant with no bread... no thank you.

Sam J.

Yelp
My go-to favorite restaurant in South Beach. Incredible service coupled with outstanding food. This is one of those places were the waiters are so attentive that your glass never goes dry or your plates are never left sitting on the table after you're done. Anything I've ever ordered is incredible. Great outdoor seating area. Definitely a place to check out for any meal of the day.

Natalie G.

Yelp
Service was AMAZING and so accommodating. I initially ordered the raspberry mule but our waiter informed us that the raspberries were a little overly ripe and recommended a strawberry mule instead. I was hesitant at first but decided to try it and I am so glad he made the suggestion. Also get the salmon- you won't be disappointed!
