"One step inside this cozy bakery and you’ll be welcomed with colorful sweets that include coconut milk and glutinous rice. Buy small variety packs with a selection of kalamay, kutsina, pitsi-pitsi, puto, and maja blanca. And don’t miss out on bibingka, an addictive sticky rice cake topped with brown sugar and coconut milk, or turon, banana lumpia with a caramel coating." - Darlene Horn, Paolo Bicchieri

Rude worker thinking she's so entitled to everyone has an attitude and talks back when we were asking for something completely different. Food isn't good, debating if they're not expired...or even cooked. Don't waste your time or moeny and find some place where the workers and food won't ruin your mood. do better. :) <3

Wide selection of Filipino food (desserts and snacks), you'll feel that you're in the Philippines actually once you enter their store. It can get a little packed on some days so the customer service aren't all the time excellent since they're busy attending to all the customers' requests. Some servers can appear snobbish, good food nonetheless.

Mainly come here in the mornings for their arroz caldo and the pancit guisado. Tasty and delicious especially with a lemon. If y'all want something quick and cheap, then you should try it. They offer small and large portions of the pancit if you're lucky.

Fresh filipini dessert with a small selection of filipino food. Delicious and highly recommended

Quaint little place, the desserts there were freshly made and some were still warm from the stove.

First of it sure nice to see all of my friends today. It's been a month since I saw everyone. This Desert Plus is one of a kind. I'm not just saying it. It has a family oriented. If your new to this store, the ladies behind the counter will treat you like your an old friend. Why not try to stop by sometimes, you'll never know what you might see for a snack. Or maybe order something on the phone. You'll never know right?

I bought pancit from there...SPOILED!!! Please check your food before purchasing, especially the entrees that are pre packaged on display for sale! Those packaged entrees are not temperature regulated. I'm sick to my stomach right now. Food is great IF FRESH!!!

They always have quality stuff here. It's one of those places where you go in to buy one thing and end up with a bag full of stuff. Their hot food is also great. They make some killer arroz caldo and dinuguan. The pansit is delicious as well. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to try some Filipino desserts.

Yelp
A friend and I went here in hopes of going to Seafood City to pick up some groceries and we were immediately drawn in by the name and the variety of different desserts they had. We unknowingly came around 15 minutes before they were about to close and the staff were so very kind and still allowed us to enter and look around. Although a little small inside of the store, it was very well kept and tidy. There were desserts that were wrapped up and very neatly arranged. We decided to purchase some puto which was really tasty. Parking at this establishment is also very easy to find Overall, if you are in the area I would highly recommend that you go and get some of the desserts at this establishment. Even if you have never had Filipino Desserts, I would highly recommend getting some from this establishment.

Yelp
The main reason why I come here is for the veggie lumpia. It's freshly fried, perfectly seasoned, and packed with ingredients. The price is nice too. Sadly not too many places make veggie lumpia anymore. Most places just do lumpia shanghai. Thank you Filipino Desserts Plus for satisfying my veggie lumpia craving!

Yelp
After lunch, I stopped by here with my dad and boyfriend. We purchased the Leche Flan ($10) and Turon (5 pieces for $4.25). The Turon was really good. For those who do not know what it is, it's plantains wrapped in wonton skin in the shape of an egg roll, deep fried, and coated with a sugary syrup. The syrup, once dried, gives it an extra crunch. The plantains were unseasoned, so paired with the crispy sugar coating, it was a nice balance in sweetness. The Leche Flan was notably the worst flan we've ever tasted. The texture was grainy and very dense, as opposed to a light, soft, creamy, and silky texture that I would expect from a flan. I also found it odd that they listed yellow food coloring as one of the ingredients. I've made flan before, but have never used food coloring. The pale yellow is the preferred color that you naturally get from egg yolks, so there's no need to add artificial food color! Packaging was sticky and when I asked for a napkin, they just looked at me. I don't think they were necessarily rude, but perhaps there was a language barrier. I had wet wipes in my car so it wasn't the end of the world. This was a small to-go dessert place. They used every inch of it to showcase various desserts for sale. They also had a station where they had hot foods in trays and you could order traditional Filipino dishes such as adobo, pancit, lumpia, etc. My rating of only 2 stars was the result of the really bad flan.

Yelp
6/15/24 - driving through National City I had to stop at my favorite spots. I grabbed several items for myself a group of friends in the way back home, about $70 later, here are the goods. I hot several other places on the way home for snacks, an expensive day. No line inside, I had to wait for about 10 minutes for 50 pork lumpia, I paid and extra $1 for the extra sweet and sour sauce. Bought small pancits and 3 Ukoy shrimp aka sometimes called a bird nest with the standard vinegar. All were good. Also, one of my desserts was sapin-sapin, the colorful layered rice. See photos.

Yelp
Delicious Filipino desserts! They have a variety you can choose from. All the ladies that work there are also very sweet and helpful. It is located in a shopping center, that was pretty busy but I found parking pretty fast.

Aliza C.

Yelp
You discovered Filipino Desserts Plus while exploring this plaza. I picked up sone tasty treats to try: halo halo, ginataan bilo-bilo, cassava suman, and ube biko. Halo Halo gad potential. I watched the lady use the ice crushing machine to pack the crushed ice on top of my halo halo, so I was so surprised that the crushed ice on top hardened into a big ball of ice. I couldn't break it with a straw or with a plastic spoon. I ended up removing the big ball of ice to eat the halo halo. In all my years of enjoying halo halo, this is the 1st time I've had an issue with ice. So weird. -1 I thoroughly enjoyed the ginataan bilo-bilo and ube biko. Perfect textures and flavors but just a tad too sweet for me. The cassava suman was freshly made, warm and sooo good. +3 Customer service was excellent. The lady was quick to answer questions and friendly. +1 Parking is ample since the parking lot is large. +1

Yelp
POSITIVES: -Desserts: Tasty and delicious -Customer Service: Superb Location: Parking availability is good -Prices: Very fair NEGATIVES: -Cooked food like the pre-packed palabok and other pre-packed items are not refrigerated (scary) - They sit on the counter from the time the store opens until it closes -The aroz caldo, goto, etc do not have the correct holding temperature Last week, towards the end of the day, the lady was pushing me and other people to buy the palabok for 1 buy and get the other free or half the price. She was also offering us the same deal with the aroz caldo and goto. I bought 1 palabok, asked her to microwave it and went to my car and took 2 bites and it was very sour and the sauce was bubling (nasty, nasty). Today, 7/13/23, I went back to the store and spoke with Gema, the manager and I explained to her the situation. I pointed out items that needs whole day refrigeration specially the palabok. I told her that they are exposing people to risk of food poisoning due to improper handling of food which included required holding temperatures for both hot and cold items. I told her that I know they make a lot of money and that they have to be super careful because they may face legal problems if someone gets sick or even die due to their negligence. I notice (and it is my biggest concern) that almost all Filipino food places, their pre-packed foods are not refrigerated nor properly warmed specially the palabok (which is my favorite). It is very scary! To the public who frequently dine out or buy pre-cooked food, always keep the Health Department's phone number (every city you visit) in your phone so that you can report unacceptable events you see in a food establishment instantly. I recommend not to argue nor be confrontational. Just maintain your business-like demeanor. Afterall, that is all that you are doing in business establishment: doing business. Nothing personal. It is not to harm or destroy other business, but to ensure that they stay longer in business by not getting sued due to their negligence. And most importantly, that the public (consumers) like you, your children, your parents and the likes of me are safe from the dangers of food borne illnesses.

Yelp
I've been going here since I was little. This is my fave place to get yummy colorful Filipino desserts. I usually buy turon (banana fritter), the already made pansit Malabon, and kakanin. It always satisfies my cravings!

Yelp
I've been here numerous times when I was younger and never really had an issue. However, after the pandemic, their customer service and food quality plummeted greatly. My family members purchased lumpia from this place a few months ago, and they were *sour* and had signs of freezer burn. This meant that they were in the freezer waaay too long and the meat was no good. After we had called them to simply let them know, the lady who answered the phone gave attitude saying "Well then bring it back then" and we had said that we weren't trying to have any issues but just wanted to tell them so other customers wouldn't complain (with the possibility they are worse than us simply calling). Recently, Saturday 11/19/22, I had purchased 3 bags of their boiled peanuts. I was craving these for soooo long! By the time I came home, I noticed the first peanut had a worm like insect in it and had told my mom, she said it's normal since the peanuts are in the ground and to not think much of it. I continued to eat them UNTIL I opened multiple and noticed the eggs of MAGGOTS. There were a few that had full grown maggots and some with baby eggs in it. I showed my mom again and we ended calling them again and they said in Tagalog to return the peanuts and "show them" so they can give my money back ($3 per bag). What made it worse was that my mom was being approachable and telling them concerned, no attitude or yelling, but they had a mocking-annoyed tone when addressing us and the maggots. When we got there, there were still bags of peanuts still out for sale! When we showed them the bowl, the two ladies were just saying oh its normal and that they'll give us *store credit* instead. I opened all 3 bags of peanuts and numerous peanuts opened had the maggots in it. Clearly the maggots were dead since the peanuts were cooked but still. They insisted on store credit and kept saying "What do you want" numerous times when I told my mom I didn't really want anything. We got 2 Desserts and they gave us a bag and we left. Still, they had the other bags of peanuts out...

Yelp
Came here while on vacation. We went the morning before our flight home. We went at 8 am, right at opening. The lady working seemed busy and occupied. I stood waiting to pay for my items while she continued to label Items. I got the mixed dessert tray and the biko ube. My mom got some spaghetti and other desserts. I was super excited to try their desserts, especially SAPIN sapin , but I wasn't that big of a fan. The mix tray tasted all the same to me. The plus sides are its super fresh and a big variety.

James G.

Yelp
If you ever need to bring something to a potluck, you can order 50 pieces of lumpia from here and I guarantee they will be a hit. I ordered earlier in the day for a 6pm pick up. They came out hot, fresh, and with a couple containers of sweet and sour dipping sauce. Aside from the lumpia, they have other food but as the name implies, they have a ton of desserts. My favorites are ginataan, ube puto, kutsinta, and hopia and I never leave without picking up one of those.

Groceries B.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! Very tasty desserts. Great customer service! Definitely a weekly favorite for a sweet craving.

Yelp
had a rude costumer service experience. i was trying to add my email when all sudden the çashier cancelled while i was doing my entry. she laughed when i asked her why she cancelled while i was entering my email for receipt. the yema is not good as the color from the plastic wrap transferred into the food. see picture

Yelp
08/08/21- Sunday Ang sarap ng suman! Yung ibang desserts naubos namin kaagad. Hindi ko nakuhanan ng pictures!!! Jjay R1616

Ujena G.

Yelp
I go here to pre-order lumpia Shanghai and pancit Malabon. There was an instant, where i made a phone order for 1pm pick up but it took 20 minutes after the allotted time because they forgot about my order and I had to wait.

Ami O.

Yelp
I ordered a #4 dessert tray and it was delicious! Kept for several days. Unfortunately, the first one I bought fell out of my SUV when we thought the trunk was closed, so I had to order another one and it was ready when we got there and she even gave us a discount because she felt bad for us! Exceptional customer service!

Yelp
My family has been visiting this local Filipino on small business, for over 25 years. You get delicious, food and desserts, and I never disappointed. This is a family owned business, with very friendly and professional, and please. 8+ service and delicious food all the time.

Yelp
WHERE HAVE I BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE!? So disappointed that I just now found out about this place when I literally live 3-4 min away!! I was craving buko pandan and some Filipino desserts and found this place on my awesome and most useful yelp app of course.. lol. Came in and was so impressed of how much they have to offer when it comes to options for Filipino desserts!! Everything is made fresh DAILY! And the workers are so sweet, I wanted to try the flan puto and they ran out already so the cashier lady said to come back she'll save me two for the next day! How sweet is that!? A great way to build good rapport with customers I would say! From fresh bread, peanuts, desserts, there is everything! I even found this Filipino dessert that I love so much but is super expensive when I go to Goldilocks.. guess how much it was here.. ONLY $3.50!? Oh my that's a great deal and it lasted me two days.. I was so happy. The fresh salt and garlic peanuts are sooooo good!! I gotta come back and try the spicy peanuts.. The puto here is delicious as well and I decided to pick up a variety mini tray.. everything was so soft and fresh.. definitely a place to come for you Filipino dessert and bakery fix!! I also enjoyed their hopia as well!! I really don't know of any other bakeries who serve such a variety.. until I find another great bakery like this, I will come here often! Prices are so reasonable, selection and options are huge and endless.. everything is made in house and fresh.. this is the place to visit at least once.

Yelp
Maybe it was my fault for not inspecting the package more closely, but I just bought this pack of royal bibingka with a best by date for today 8/4. My horror when I got home, opened it, and saw how hairy it looked from all the mold!! Like, how long was this pack of bibingka sitting there to develop this much mold?? Last time I came, I bought two packs of butter mochi, and one piece had a small spot of mold. I didn't pay it too much mind because the rest of what I bought was good, and I liked how many different items this place carried. This is the second time I've purchased something here with mold, but this time it was bone-chilling to see so much rot. If you really want to give this place a try, I implore you to thoroughly inspect what you buy because the best by dates can't be trusted......

Yelp
This is our to go place every time where in san diego. They always have good stuff. Highly recommended

Yelp
I was in the area (a few miles away, but close enough) and my mom wanted some lumpia, so I cruised over to the shopping center because I remember reading some reviews on this place and was curious to check it out. Yep, I finally had a reason to come by and pick up 25 lumpias and didn't need to pretend they weren't all for me! I didn't stop there though. I got a couple of their ukoy for my mom to try as well. I figured it was about time she try something else besides lumpia and pancit. I was tempted by their turon too, but baby steps with people who can't remember names haha. The shop is clean and well organized. I liked the way it was decorated too, pretty colors. It's not big by any stretch of the imagination, but they make good use of what little space they have. Service was excellent! Let me say that again. Excellent! I loved the auntie running the bakery. She was very sweet, and a great sales woman to boot. I'd come back here for all my fried food cravings without hesitation. I definitely want to come back and try some of the actual bakery items next time.

Sherry Mae E.

Yelp
We needed a place for good Filipino food and pre-packed for my grandmothers funeral service. This place offered both! I have eaten here before and it's always been yummy.

Priscella N.

Yelp
Love this place...don't get me wrong. Only 1 bad experience with my mom. She went in to order a tray of lumpia. A huevo they wanted to fill her order with the lumpia already fried and sitting on the line when she told them 3x that she wanted them fresh. They insisted and so did she. In the end she left to buy bread while they freshly fried a new batch. Went back to pick up her order, went home only to find she was eating twice fried lumpia. Yes, they pulled the ones off the line, fried the real quick, stubbornly selling her the ones they wanted to get rid of.

Glenn M.

Yelp
Came here on a whim looking for Valerio's Bakery and glad I found this first! Great looking ube, buko pandan and other treats you'd find at any Filipino party. I grabbed some yummy gelatin buko pandan and as I was about to pay, saw a small tub of ginataan with langka. What?! Had not tasted anything so good since my mom made some oh so many years ago! So heavenly! So good! Def will come back to try the ube and casava cakes!

Eve D.

Yelp
I never went back here again. And tell my story to all my friends if this place is mentioned in conversation.

Sharlene S.

Yelp
Always quick friendly service here. I get the desserts I need and I'm on my way. I usually go here when I need desserts for a party, gathering, or a work potluck. The pecan tarts are what I usually get, but the selection they have there is a variety. I also call ahead to see what they have so I can decide before I get there. Makes the line move faster! The parking is kinda small and cramp. But there isn't anything you can do on that. When it gets to the afternoon or weekends it packed. But you can usually still get a parking somewhere in the lot. Just be careful!

Dung N.

Yelp
My filipino coworker has been spoiling us lately! She texted a couple of us at work saying that she brought food for us from here. She bought pancit, cassava cake, and bibingka. We reheated everything and had it for breakfast earlier today. The pancit was okay, but the bibingka was pretty good- I sprinkled some coconut flakes on top. It looks like they're known for their turon, so I hope she gets some of that for us next time LOL.

Jane A.

Yelp
OHMY! (5 stars) Can we say future diabetic?! Filipino desserts galore. Pinakamahusay na dessert. I namatay at napunta sa langit. Headed to my people's hood, National City, to see what they offered. As we know, Daly City, in the BayArea is "mini Manila". I had to do a comparison. National City's Filipino restaurants seem to be the same and all turo-turo style. DC takes the win. HOWEVER, when it comes to desserts I'm going to have to give it up to this place!! I need to learn to refrain myself because I bought so much in excitement. SUMAN WITH UBE - they even had ube Pandan suman. They were all wrapped in bite size. It was messy trying to eat them in the car, I suggest you wait to eat them. The suman was purple and had a sweeter taste from the ube flavor. No sugar required! SAMPLE SET - 3 mini pieces of Sapin-Sapin, 4 mini pieces of pitsi-pitsi, 4 mini pieces of kusinta, 4 mini pieces of ube kusinta, and 4 mini pieces of Biko ube. THIS was the best because you can taste more for your money. Sapin-sapin was the best. Look at my pictures, it will make you drool. AGAR-AGAR - so damn hot in SD, it is a must to quench your thirst with one of these. Thickness reminds me of bubble tea and the bottom fixings remind me of halo halo. If you are not a big Pandan fan, the taste isn't too strong in the drink. Will I be back? Yes! You don't have to ask me twice JABA APPROVED... Until the next review.

Merwin V.

Yelp
Love this store! They make almost everything fresh here except for Ching's Hopia, the canned coconut juice, bottled water, etc. Love that they changed the minimum debit/credit card limit to $5 from $10 to use your plastic without an extra $.50 charge. They offer Filipino classic desserts and sweets like Suman, Hopia, Ginitaan, garlic peanuts, Yema, Pastillas De Leche, Roasted Cashews, pecan tarts, biscotti, tapioca balls, trays of kutsinta, bibingka, cassava cake, puto in green, white, and purple coloring, Gelatin Buko Pandan, Halea Ube, Atchara, Ukoy with Shrimo, lumpia, dinuguan or "chocolate meat" and even Embutido! I love coming here for homemade good as my mom's lumpia sariwa and vegetable lumpia accompanied with the garlic vinegar sauce they include with your order. Great establishment with friendly authentic filipino service for true pinoy/pinay flavors! Mabauhay!

Michael N.

Yelp
Very good selection of Filipino desserts and snacks! There are also Filipino dishes (such as pancit) available for purchase. I love the cuchinta, puto, and turon. If you like Filipino desserts & snacks, this is the place. My only critique is, I wish that this place would have pulvoron on their list of goodies. Besides that, not bd at all!!

Aisa H.

Yelp
What can I say..... this place has a lot of variety with shelves stocked full of different goodies to try. We came in the other day for a pick up order for a potluck. The ladies at the front counter were really nice and professional. They had a crowd of people, but handled everything quickly and efficiently. All of the food (on the shelves, display case, counter and photos) looked delicious. The food that we purchased (shanghi pork egg rolls....they unfortunately ran out of beef) was amazing. I'll be back to try all the other lovely deserts that they have to offer!

Gracy A.

Yelp
Great place for filipino desserts you crave for gatherings or just have a merienda aka snack! They have an array of selection. Most of it though must be consumed within a day or two or it'll be no good. Prices were reasonable. I wish Las Vegas had a place like this so it would be convenient for gatherings and what not. Some of these desserts are doable to make at home but very tedious to do. The only problem was the cashier, not too friendly. She needs to smile and have a little more sense of humor when someone has asks you a question pertaining to your product. They have another location in Mira Mesa which we went to on the way back to Vegas. Mira Mesa has better parking lot and a roomier location inside Seafood City. They didn't have too much desserts ready made but they had freshly prepared food. Pancit palabok, pancit, spaghetti, etc. It's great to go early in the morning for the food. Desserts were limited at this location. I guess it depends the time of day or they will only make so much on their busier days to sell and not have it wasted.

Cara S.

Yelp
I always go to here for their desserts..they are the best, but after my experience yesterday I feel the urge to write a review. Their sign posted out front says no mask no service/entry but as I was already inside the store I noticed a male customer without a mask on and still being served. During this pandemic I feel there should be no exemptions especially inside this small location. Also to mention the Manang working was not very friendly or helpful. Besides this negative experience their desserts are always yummy.

Tony G.

Yelp
Turon. Must have! Took a some to work, and all my staff agrees that the turon is super delicious. They kept asking me to get more. Lol

MrsMarie V.

Yelp
Loves: Dinuguan, Lumpia, pancit, desserts I love going to this place for a quick fix of my favorites. It's reasonably priced, good taste and friendly staff. The downfall of the location is the lack of parking and people not driving correctly in parking lots.

Leshel C.

Yelp
I go to this place every time my family and I go to San Diego. As a matter of fact I was here yesterday to take away my craves. This place have amazing Filipino desserts...it's like going back in time when I was in the Philippines. Everyone Christmas and New Year I make sure I go here to get the traditional dessert for Noche Buena and it doesn't stop me even if I live in LA. One thing though.... Ladies, Mga Tita's please smile cause it makes it more inviting when the customers see you guys smile.

Ezra C.

Yelp
He best place to get authentic Filipino deserts and pastries. They have great customer service and friendly staff. I love their delicious flan cake! I highly recommend.

Jay A.

Yelp
Decent prices good flavors. One of the desserts I chose, unfortunately turned so I had to throw it away. Might have been the humidity yesterday. Still a good place to go. Check it out!

Thomas S.

Yelp
My family is crazy about Filipino deserts. So when we stumbled across this sweet shop, those two with me went loco and dropped almost $100 on sweets to take home to Texas. Some of the stuffs I had never seen or heard of before. But I was assured by my family members and the shop keepers that the goods were legit authentically and tasty. I tasted some back at the hotel, the sweet stuffs got game. They were tasty deserts and went extremely well with strong after meal coffee.

Nette B.

Yelp
Sad to say that I didn't like the desserts I bought at Filipino Desserts. I will definitely return to give it another try and order some other items. The desserts looked so good as I gazed through the glass and made my selection of items. I purchased Puto, Kuchinta, Palitaw (I called it Dila Dila?) and Cascaron (IDK what they call it but this is what Ilocano's call it.) The puto and kuchinta had no taste. :( I think if I ate the kuchinta with coconut it would've tasted better but I was not given any when I checked out. The cascaron on the other hand reminded me of my moms desserts. Yummy sweet melted sugar over deep fried mochi flour balls. Hopefully on my next visit I will remember to ask for coconut and I'll learn the names of these desserts.

Jamie J.

Yelp
The name says it all. Filipino Desserts (plus). Go here for the desserts. Especially the turon. Mom, I am sorry again, but this turon is even better than yours! If anybody hasn't had turon before, think of it as a banana lumpia or egg roll. It's basically a banana (not the kind you get at vons, but a different one), rolled up in a wrapper, deep fried, and coated with a sugar glaze. Simple, but oh so good. Especially when eaten warm. We usually get a tray full for parties we have. Their pecan tarts and various rice cakes are good too, but the star of the show is the turon. Parking is a NIGHTMARE though. That's the only bad part. Bring your patience when you go. You will definitely need it. Also, if you are ordering a tray of something, make sure you order it a few days in advance.

Min V.

Yelp
I think between this location and the one inside the CV Seafood City, the quality of their products seem a little better in regards to presentation, etc, so I tend to like to come here more over the one in CV. I also love this place because it's my go to for potlucks. Do I need lumpia, empanada, or turon? Put in a call to order and they'll have it ready for you. You need it before they open? They got you. I think 7AM is the earliest I've picked up and I love them for being as flexible as they are. Location is also great because they're right off the freeway. My only gripe is their parking lot during normal business hours.

Rick M.

Yelp
Mom recommended I approve of the great desserts fresh and made the the day you buy mmmm

Sandy D.

Yelp
I just had my first Turon and wow, was it amazing! I also got a small wrapped plate of Pancit which was very good and a deal for $2.50. If I worked around here this would be a regular lunch spot. I'll be back to try more new-to-me foods and I'm looking forward to it.

Maridel A.

Yelp
Craving kalamay bibingka (rice cake) OMG so good. I was lucky to grab the last one. Also bought pancit palabok. I love filipino food.

Marylen M.

Yelp
Their homemade Filipino desserts are super amazing. I love all of them, they're so delicious. The prices are crazy good. Staff has always been super nice to me. Love coming here for some really good Filipino desserts. My favorite, is the fried bananas they are amazing. Really recommend this place to others. There is a limit on card use. Which is five dollars.

Chai L.

Yelp
Best filipino desserts. Their cassava cake is a must try. They also have arroz caldo, i usually buy it for breakfast. My fave is pancit malabon, it is also available for party sizes at a very reasonable price. Turon is very good too. And all d other kakanin/ rice cakes taste really good.

Yelp
This is a review for the amazing turon, served by dozen of them on a plate OR by the individual. The turon at desserts plus is by far the best turon ive ever eaten. Get them while they are hot and crispy. I love this place because they put just about of glazed on them so that it compliments the banana inside, oh so good! This is my go to spot if I want my turon fixed. :p

Yelp
Boy, did I get lucky today! As I was walking to Manila Seafood market, I walked into this place! Its full of beautiful filipino delicacies and great friendly ladies! I saw they had lumpia (frozen) that you could buy. 50 or 100 pieces! Of course I saw them in the hot food counter as well and bought a dozen so I could 'sample' them! OMG! They are SOOOOO fantastic. Needless to say, I bought 100 (frozen) to go!! Thank you!!!!

Yelp
BEST TURON place i've tried in San Diego hands down. I can't really comment on anything else they make here though since I literally only come here for turon. I've been coming here for years. haha
