London's Late-Night Coffee Shop Directory - London - The Infatuation
"A shiny all-day cafe on South Kensington’s pedestrianised Bute Street, Filo is one of our favourite spots for a late-night coffee and chill, or to people-watch from the outside tables when it’s nice. There’s a menu of decent Lebanese food, and some indulgent-looking pastries on the counter in case you’re peckish—we’d get the Cinnabon-looking cinnamon roll—but if you’re just looking for a comfortable spot for a 7pm cappuccino, Filo is the one. Plus, they serve Spanish lattes if you’re a fan of your coffee on the sweeter side." - rianne shlebak

Very nice and cute concept. Coffee here is definitely delicious and it has distinctive taste from big caffe shop chains. Customer service is very beautiful. Many thanks paticularly to Gladys, Maria, chef Maria. They were kind and nice during my first visit to this cafe. Definitely, I will come back again.

Very good coffee but the pastry was dry, and lacked flavour. But what really let this place down was the music blasting as insane volume, not being able to hear anyone speak. Music choice didn’t suit this place at all. Service was good though, kind staff.

Thank you Gladys, Maria and Tanya for this amazing brunch! Everything was 11/10, the Turkish eggs are amazing, the cinnamon bun is soft, the coffee is as good as it looks. The location is close to museums so convenient as well.

Such a cute coffee shop with very friendly service and great espresso drinks. The pastries looked amazing though I didn’t get to try them!

Lovely cafe, great location. Their coffee was really good. The tiramisu had good flavour but the pastry crust was way too hard. I also tried the pesto chicken toastie which was nice but was drowning in sauce and oil so bare that in mind if you don’t like greasy food.
Everything is halal though so it gets bonus points for that.

Coffee tasted average, not the worst but certainly not the best. Chicken pesto mozarellla toastie was ok-ish but certainly not worth £10. The croissants are identical to those sold at chestnut bakery in Belgravia so I assume they buy them from the same place instead of baking on site.

Maria is soooo nice 🥹
I had such a wonderful experience here! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. The staff are incredibly kind, and Maria went above and beyond—not only providing excellent service but also helping me with a personal problem. I truly appreciate her kindness. Highly recommend this place!

I popped in here to get a bite of breakfast initially wanting to try their Za'atar & Gruyere Knot but unfortunately it wasn’t available so opted for the Mushroom and Miso pastry instead and goodness me I was not disappointed! It was delicious - flaky on the outside but soft on the inside. I also tried their Spanish pistachio latte which was also smooth and yum. The staff appeared friendly, especially Aziz who was attentive and welcoming. A new favourite bakery spot I fear.
