Food was good. Oyster happy hour is fun! But be cautious with timing your order correctly. We had our main dishes before our oysters even came out which was a bit funny. Onion soup was DELICIOUS! Main dishes (such as the fish) could come with more sides. Burger was really good! Although they warn you dishes take a long time since they have a small kitchen and two staff, it was quite frustrating when we were rushed from our table when the next table walked in especially since we hadn’t even finished our drinks yet. I feel the situation could’ve been handled better. All in all - fine experience.

It was hard to decide between 4 or 5 stars but I’ll go with 4 after considering the price with the taste. It was slightly pricy in generally, and I feel the flavor could be improved a little bit. Overall it was intense and rich. We had the wedge salad, tuna tartare as appetizers, and I had prime rib as my course. The ginger taste of the tuna tartare was really strong, and almost covered all other tastes. The blue cheese sauce of the salad was good but intense. It was a heavy salad actually! 🍽I personally recommend the rib I got. Same, strong flavor but they cooked the meat well. Love the choice of white asparagus they served and the smashed potato on the side was amazing.

Fin du Monde is the cutest and most delicious hole-in-the-wall in Greenpoint. Not sure I want to share how much I love this place for fear it will become too popular. The menu is always changing, and always delicious. I have tried so many new fish dishes thanks to this place and branched out in general, because it is always good. I recommend this place to anyone that wants a cozy, pretty affordable, top notch meal.

Tried this place on a whim after reading other reviews and it exceeded all expectations. Very warm, inviting space/crowd, friendly service and excellent ingredients. Loved the oyster happy hour deal, but don’t sleep on the tuna tartare. Will be back for sure!

Food was a 10/10. Entree portions are on the smaller side so definitely get some appetizers for the table. The cocktails were pretty solid, not the best I’ve had but definitely worth the price.

I’ve been here many times and really love this spot. The menu changes depending on what’s in season and every dish I’ve had is fresh, flavorful and inventive. The ambiance, and service are always great. This feels like a neighborhood spot but is worth the trip if you don’t live close by. Definitely recommend!

A small menu that constantly rotates, we’ve tried many things from this place and from the wedge salad to the steak to the salmon, nothing has been less than excellent. The vibes are immaculate for a chill romantic dinner and the wine is great

The experience here is incredible, super intimate and like a friend with superior culinary skills is having you over for dinner. The owners (a couple) run the place themselves with only one of them in the open kitchen and one of them at the bar and table service. Because of the really unique concept, on busy nights service isn't lightning speed (to be expected anywhere!) but was absolutely reasonable – it never left me wanting. The food is always elevated and delicious and the wine list is great. Go for a personable, non-intimidating, charming dinner (perfect for a second or third date!)

This place is the definition of romantic and cozy. We got there at around 6:30, and it was completely empty, but by the time we left at 8, the only seats left were at the bar. Definitely a spot that locals love, and for good reason. To start, I had the moules marinière, which was amazing. For the main course, I went with the roasted swordfish, and my husband had the beef bourguignon. Everything was cooked perfectly. The wine list was spot on too. Every option paired beautifully with our dishes, which made the whole meal even better. One of the things we really loved was the rotating menu. You never know what's going to be available next time, but after this meal, we're confident that whatever they serve will be just as good. We also had the Meyer lemon tart for dessert. We only ordered one, but honestly, we should have gotten two. It was that good. They also have plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options, which is always nice to see. Can't wait to come back and see what's on the menu next time.

I've written like 5 yelp reviews in my life, all positive. FDM gets one. This place is excellent and the people who run it are as well. Truly awesome food at non-insane prices. Wonderful vibe to the design and all that if that's your thing too. Been there probably 20 times since they opened. May it stay here forever.

The food here is excellent! Amazing oysters, Caesar salad, shrimp scampi, burgers and nice lemon tart dessert. Nice jazz music, great service. Will definitely come back!

They have $1 oyster happy hour daily, which is so awesome. The mains on the menu are a tad more pricey than I would prefer, but are very much worth the quality they deliver! Pretty easy to get a table without reservation, and they do outdoor seating weather permitting. Overall a great spot in the neighborhood!

Wonderful $1 oysters at happy hour. Low key ambiance with upscale food. Prices are a tad high and worth it for the quality and attention to flavor. The rotating appetizer selection keeps me coming back regularly. The staff never rushes people out, lovely spot for solo diners to have a snack. Outdoor tables when the weather permits.
