Finca Es Cabàs is a beautifully restored historic estate nestled in the serene countryside of Santa Maria del Camí, Mallorca. Dating back to the era of Muslim rule on the island, the finca has preserved its rich heritage through the careful restoration of original features like lime kilns, charcoal burners' cottages, and an old olive oil press . The estate offers ten thoughtfully designed accommodations, including standard doubles, suites with private terraces, and a family apartment. While there isn't an on-site restaurant, guests can enjoy a continental breakfast buffet featuring fresh pastries, fruits, and locally sourced orange juice . For other meals, a communal kitchen is available, and some rooms come equipped with kitchenettes . The grounds of Finca Es Cabàs are expansive and tranquil, featuring Mediterranean gardens, ancient olive groves, and an inviting infinity pool. Guests can explore several hiking trails that wind through the property, offering a peaceful retreat into nature. Located just a 15-minute drive from Palma, the finca serves as an ideal base for exploring Mallorca. Charming towns like Deià, Valldemossa, and Sóller are within easy reach, making it convenient to experience the island's diverse landscapes and cultural offerings . Whether you're seeking a quiet getaway or a starting point for island adventures, Finca Es Cabàs provides a harmonious blend of historical charm and modern comfort.

Rarely have I been in a place where everything felt so profoundly right. The beautiful spaces, the personal touch in the rooms (I loved reading the ‘Arabian Horse World’ magazines from 1989), the warm welcome, the responsiveness, the serene tranquility, the natural scents, the presence of animals — all these elements reveal a soul that has been nurtured and cherished through generations. I hope that future guests will treat it with the respect and care it deserves, so that this spirit may endure for many years to come.

Beautiful finca about 25 minutes away from Palma. Very quiet and furnished with a lot of taste, located in a historic farm. Only offers breakfast but has a shared kitchen and fridge where you can cook. Our room was spacious with a small garden on the inner courtyard and a very large bathroom. The pool is magnificent in the middle of the trees. There are some very nice hikes in the backcountry behind the finca. Staff is very friendly but note that there is no 24x7 service. The staff is on site between 8 and 5. Although it’s 25 minutes away from Palma, there is a very nice village at a 10 minutes drive called Santa Maria which has very good restaurants.

My husband and I got married at Finca Es Cabas this month (September 2024) and had our closest friends and family stay on the property with us for the week. We absolutely loved everything about the finca, the staff, and the experience of having our wedding there! The entire property is gorgeous and the amenities are wonderful. For the wedding, it was such a unique venue and we were able to use several different spaces, including the olive press room for the ceremony, one of the pools for cocktail hour, the courtyard for dinner, and another indoor space for the dance party. As for the stay during the week, the rooms were lovely, and the cleaning staff did an extraordinary job. They truly went above and beyond to clean and organize the space, even folding the clothes we left out. The bed was comfortable and everything felt very clean. The breakfast each morning was delicious. The property also has a yoga room, tennis courts, and several hiking trails- all of which we and our guests thoroughly enjoyed during our stay. We also purchased some of the wine the finca's produces, and it was very tasty. The pools were not heated, so they were chillier than we anticipated, but aside from that, everything exceeded our expectations. Sandra and the rest of the staff were very warm, welcoming, and kind, as well as generous with their assistance. We are so happy we got married at the finca and will always cherish this special place. We just got back from Europe last night, and although the team never asked us to leave a review, we were eager to do so to thank them for making this occasion extra meaningful for us!

- below what you would expect at this standard - very simple breakfast - both pools dirty - seem to focus on cost efficiency excessively - set in a very beautiful location though - great architecture

One of the standout aspects of our stay at Finca Es Cabàs was the exceptional service provided by Mary and her team. From the moment we arrived, Mary greeted us with a warm and friendly smile, making us feel instantly welcome. Throughout our stay, she went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable experience. Mary's knowledge of the property and the surrounding area was invaluable. She provided us with excellent recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and activities, ensuring that we made the most of our time in Mallorca. Her passion for the finca and its surroundings was evident, and she took the time to share interesting stories and insights about the history and culture of the region. The rest of the team at Finca Es Cabàs was equally as attentive and helpful. From the housekeeping staff who kept our suite immaculate to the gardeners who maintained the beautiful grounds, everyone we encountered was friendly and dedicated to providing exceptional service. Mary and her team truly made our stay at Finca Es Cabàs a memorable one. Their genuine warmth and hospitality added an extra layer of comfort and made us feel like part of the family. We are grateful for their efforts and cannot wait to return to this beautiful property. Overall, our time at Finca Es Cabàs was worth every second. The combination of the stunning orange trees, the well-equipped kitchen, the friendly animals including the Iberian pig and turkeys, the incredibly kind and helpful staff, the awesome suites, and the opportunity to hike in the fields made it a truly unforgettable experience. We would like to extend a special thanks to Mary, whose warm and welcoming nature made our stay even more enjoyable. We cannot recommend this place enough and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

We had the most beautiful long weekend here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The location is outstanding - easy to get to from the airport. The grounds are unreal, it was really hot so we didn't wander much but you could do for hours if you so choose. Carla is an angel - we felt so well taken care of, and she let us stay by the pool for a good part of the day on our last day when we had a very late flight. The breakfasts are delicious! The rooms are pretty minimalist but the little kitchenette had everything we needed and it was such a calm beautiful experience. The pool is incredible, and we will absolutely be back!

I recently stayed at this so-called four-star hotel and was thoroughly disappointed. For a staggering €400 per night, I expected a much higher standard. The breakfast was for 30€ severely lacking, with no eggs available—you have to cook them yourself, which is unacceptable at this price point. Additionally, the room is simple and was missing essential amenities such as bathrobes, slippers, and makeup removal pads. This hotel falls far short of the four-star standard it claims to have. I would not recommend anyone stay here; it is definitely not worth the money.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this accommodation. The breakfast provided was subpar and left much to be desired. The options were limited and the food was of poor quality. It was clear that little effort was put into preparing a satisfying meal for guests. I would not recommend staying here if you are looking for a fulfilling breakfast experience.
