Google
Loved all of the different shops at Findlay Market. There's a spot to pay for parking which is reasonable. $3 per hour. It took us under an hour to walk it. Lots of unique food choices. They also have different vendors set up. Would definitely recommend.

Love! Love! Love! Wish we lived closer. We'd shop here every week! Fabulous market with great food, drinks, vibe! We spent a whole morning here and went back the next day!

Google
The market has a nice old world ambiance, but feels a little like it's forced artisan. Yes they have some small artisan shops, but they aren't the corner deli charm, more of a hipster feel. That being said, it's worth a visit, but just not exactly what I was expecting from the descriptions.

Google
So many offerongs here at Findlay Market. From specialty gifts, spice market, seafood, home cooking foods, créole food, pastas, vegetarian offerings, meat markets, fresh vegetables and many other unique foods oh yes and Cheeses from all over the world. Can't forget the cheeses.

Google
LOVED IT!!! It has a Philly Reading Market feeling but smaller and not as loud/crowded, which is perfect for me! The meats, the spices and herbs, the sweets... ALL OF IT! This is a must go if visiting Cincy!

Google
Super cool little market. Have everything from fresh produce, raw meats, and cooked sandwiches and Mexican food! Fun to walk through. We bought a lot of fudge and it was great! We also loved the little bar outside, fun beers for 1/2 off during happy hour!

Google
I heard that this had really nice vibes and some will still must dry items in Cincinnati so had to make a trip here. Definitely had a lovely vibe on a weekend afternoon. There was people playing music outside and everything was nice and bustling and just a very lively place to be. Quite a lot of vendors inside and around. Lot of people buying groceries to items for the week and I can totally see why because everything look really fresh and authentic.

Google
I was there mid week in May. I expected it to be like the photos/stories on insta with bustling food places with great food and whilst there were places to buy food it didn't seem very lively or the food that special. I came away not getting anything other than a can of coke. I'm wondering if its more lively on a weekend and I just chose a bad day to visit

Yelp
I been wanting to visit Findaly since I moved down to Ohio and I had finally got that chance too. It was cold so the stores on the outside and surrounding were not open I'm guessing. But the actual market itself was open. When I walked it it was a lot of meat stands and butcher shops. I was walking past a stand when this brown butter sweet potato cornbread caught my eye at one of the ladies stands. Don't quote me on the name but I think it was called Grammas something. But the cornbread did not disappoint . There was two big pieces for $6 which was a pretty good deal considering the bread cuts are big and thick. There was also a gelato shop in there a few bakeries and like stores to sho local. I had also got some banana pudding from makers bakers co. Now I'm usually skeptical with buying banana pudding from everywhere because nowadays people don't know how to make it properly BUT Makers Bakers.... ‍instead of cookies they put like cake at the bottom and it does not mess up the flavor or texture or anything it was perfect . I tried their bourbon caramel banana pudding which is what they are known for and it did not disappoint

Yelp
Cute market! One of several prime Cincinnati destinations perfect for tourists and locals. The indoor/outdoor market primarily sells food and drink with a few outdoor stalls selling housewares and apparel. Street parking is challenging at times but the nearby Findlay Parking garage offers covered parking spaces with a daily rate of $3 for the first hour. I've attached a picture of the daily rate schedule if you plan on staying past an hour.

Yelp
If this was marketed as a "farmers market-esque" type of place from the locals who told me to come I would consider 4 stars. I was told to come hungry, as there is plenty of food to try. I was kind of underwhelmed by the ready to go food options. We enjoyed the fudge stand inside, great service. I wish there was more. This felt more like but what you want to eat at home type of deal. Maybe I have to come again during summer.

Yelp
We visited on a Friday around 3 PM and were surprised to see several vendors were closed. We managed to try a few things. Taste of Belgium: 1) The caramel and walnuts crepe didn't particularly stand out. I might have enjoyed it more if they walnuts were candied. 2) We bought a pack of original flavor (plain) waffles to go. There is nothing plain about it because it's sweet enough that you wouldn't need any syrup. We had ours with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Glad to have this item checked off but not necessarily something that we would repeat. 3) Our girls enjoyed the chocolate, vanilla, and passion fruit macarons. Em's Sourdough Bread: 1) We purchased a loaf of $6 which is quite reasonable. We used it to make grilled cheese sandwiches and they held up well.

Yelp
I absolutely love this market. After living in Cincinnati, Columbus and visiting Cleveland I want to say this is an absolute gem of a market and one of the best. I love the availability of fresh produce, meats and other staple goodies. But I also love the delicious places you can purchase lunch from or unique gift/specialty items. I also love the fresh bread from Blue Oven and Urbana coffee. The best time to go here is on the weekend, that is when you have the best chance of catching the outside tents and trying goodies from new and novel local vendors. Compared to other markets in Ohio the prices are quite reasonable. They aren't the cheapest, but for high quality goods I would definitely say the price is right. It's a family friendly atmosphere and they do allow pets, but only service dogs can go into the actual indoor area. Parking can be a mess during peak hours (around lunch time on the weekend) so I do recommend to be prepared to walk and park away from the main Findlay lot.

Yelp
This is a good place to get meat and groceries, but otherwise, it's ok! I didn't see many food options. Came on a weekday and there weren't a lot of people around and some stores were closed. The area is a bit sketchy so be aware of your surroundings. Parking is available for a fee on the streets and in the lots.

Yelp
Cutest market I have ever been too! When the weather is good, Findlay is the first spot I think to go. The hours are great and not limited whatsoever. The food is amazing as well! I tried elote, a taco salad, and a chicken taco from a local vendor and it was all so delicious!

Yelp
So the next stop on my Cincinnati journey was to Findlay market. I was told it was the place to go if I wanted a great breakfast. Best thing about it was it was right on the free bus line so we literally left the hotel walked 2 blocks & hopped on. It was like a 20 minute ride but upon arriving i was shocked to see it's nothing more than a Cincinnati version of Lexington market. After walking through taking everything in I decided to try a taste of Belgium. I got a smoked turkey sandwich with chipotle mayo. Best part of the sandwich was it came on a toasted Belgium waffle. It was absolutely delicious I almost ordered another one. Definitely would recommend you stopping by here for the sights, people, but of course this sandwich

Yelp
Top notch market, been here over a hundred years. Great place to check out if you live in Cincinnati, visiting or hosting some out of town friends. Many shops and places to visit to eat and drink. Everyone including the merchants are friendly and knowledgeable about their products and offer advice on what you may need. Best times to come are weekend mornings. Each year it seems the market area is extended to Elm and Race streets.

Yelp
A must visit in Cincinnati. There's so much fresh produce, meat, and seafood to get. There's also so many cute boutiques that you can get fun gifts from. There's also such a variety of food. From poke to deli sandwiches to incredibly baked goods. I could've spent 3 hours here and been a happy camper.

Yelp
My love for Findlay Market continues. I'd describe this as a must-visit when you find yourself in Cincy. The historic architecture of the OTR neighborhood paired with farm vendors, prepared foods and fabulous surrounding local businesses, make for the perfect Saturday morning. Parking is fairly easy on the surrounding metered streets. You can find everything from coffee beans and fresh pasta to sliced goetta and vegan salads. We ended up leaving with lattes, coffee beans, chai tea, a few Mediterranean treats, apples and more. The energy and local pride is hard to beat

Yelp
Makers Bakers Read about their cheesecakes online and about an award nominated banana pudding so we had to check it out. My husband loves banana pudding and I love cheesecake so it was an easy decision. The owner waited on us and he was so friendly he even remembered us when we returned later in the day. That's amazing customer service. The bourbon caramel banana pudding was so delicious it's what brought us back for seconds later in the day! It's so good. More cake like in it than the cookies I'm used to having. You gotta try it. Three flavor options available. I wanted to try the lemon lavender cheesecake I had read about but it was last weeks flavor. So I opted for the carrot cake with a cheesecake center and oh my goodness!!! It was SO GOOD I may never look at carrot cake the same ever again. It's like the extra cream cheese icing you always wished you had while eating carrot cake is finally there! Yum. My sister-in-law got a cinnamon roll and absolutely loved it. I did try a mini key lime pie. It was good but not great. Needed a bit of whipped cream on it or something more. We will definitely return here when we're in the area.

Yelp
Very cool market to sample the city's culinary history. The actual historic market spans a city block and has everything from an outpost of Taste of Belgium to flower shops to butchers to bakeries. There are some tables inside, but there's a lot more outside. The inner marker is temperature controlled. The kids really enjoyed looking at all the offerings. I know all the guidebooks recommend this place for breakfast, and they are right in that recommendation.

Yelp
A must visit location when visiting Cincinnati! I would recommend visiting on a weekend if possible to get the full experience. From my understanding, on the weekends, the "farmer's market" and outdoor vendors are set up outside the actual "market" building. You can spend a whole afternoon wandering through vendors who sell everything from soap to flowers to bake goods, fresh produce and beyond. The interior market area is full of vendors selling fresh meat, seafood, and other ready to eat items.
google avatar

Amanda J.

Yelp
I love a public market, and I had been wanting to go to Findlay Market for awhile! I finally went on a recent trip, and I really had the best time! I went with friends on a Saturday morning, and we enjoyed the farmer's market and vendors set up outside (I picked up a baklava sampler and some Brazilian treats) along with a Belgian waffle from the indoor space. I also stopped in a few of the businesses around the perimeter. Oh, I ate some pretzels too. It was a little tight in spaces because it was fairly busy, but I really loved Findlay Market. What a great vibe.
google avatar

Yelp
A lot of different kind of vendors, especially food which is the most important shit anyway. Really, something for most tastes and preferences, whatever you might be in the mood for. The main problem is that there were TOO many things that appealed to me. The main bathrooms were "under construction" but there are interim bathrooms trailer style outside. This isn't ideal but considering, the bathroom was actually more clean and pleasant than you would expect under the circumstances. There was ample seating outside at the time of our visit on a late Sunday afternoon. It was crowded but not crowded to the point where I felt like I needed to GTFO, if that is helpful.
google avatar

Chelsi B.

Yelp
I had heard tons about Findlay Market while planning my trip to Cincinnati. We got in late so we didn't get to spend much time on our first visit but we loved it so much in that 30 minutes we decided we needed to come back on Sunday. I did leave with a Zucchini bread and blueberry muffin despite most places started to close since we got there at 5:30 and they're closed at 6. Everyone working their booths were obviously working their booties off and I could see myself coming back every week if I was a local. The bread and muffin I got was delicious.
google avatar

Kris M.

Yelp
It's crowded on the weekend with lots of shoppers wanting to enjoy, but the vegan food at Harmony Plant Fare and the service was top tier.

Yelp
This was such an interesting place! Our visit here was a super short walk through during our food tour but it reminds me of some of the markets you see on TV. I've never actually been in one before but this was so cool! You can get food and eat at the tables outside or you can do your grocery shopping. Lots of history here and around the outside which was cool to learn about. They have options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free along with a lot of CULTURE! I truly could spend a whole day here and maybe someday I will! I recommend checking them out especially if you live local or will be visiting for an extended period. My only concern is there are a few shops that could work on cleanliness. That's the only star they lost but that's also considering we didn't stop to talk with vendors or buy. Our tour guide did that for us so we didn't stop traffic with our group.

Yelp
Great market in the heart of the city. Take in the historical art and modern touches that make this place unique.

Yelp
Re-review. I always like to update any negative reviews if I return. Findlay market is back up to the wonderful vibrant place it was. First they have handled the parking issues but building a new garage within walking distance. We have always felt safe when we have visited the market as well. I don't think there was any empty spots for vendors but I might be wrong. The market was packed, standing elbow to elbow with everyone but no one was pushy or in a hurry. Plenty of outdoor seating as well. We continue to travel 90 minutes to go and it is still worth it.
google avatar

Lindsey K.

Yelp
Great fresh options for meats and local vendors. It did get a little crowded, however, it was easy to get someone's attention. We did not get anything to eat while we were there but bought meats to bring home.
google avatar

Yelp
I found this place on yelp so decided to come here. We parked I parked one block away. This market was okay. If you live there it's a good market to get meat and produce. We found a few cool things a pet food store. We also good healthy treats. There's a good pretzel stand that was pretty amazing. This is a cool thing to do if you're in the area.
google avatar

Rob K.

Yelp
Great option for all in Cincinnati. You can purchase fresh food to take home to cook or prepared foods or sweets. Honestly there is a little bit of everything here. We spent a solid hour here on a weekend a little later in the day than I would have liked. Food isn't cheap but fair and parking is nearby. I'd definitely return. Great visit!

Yelp
Right when we were landing the day before. I heard suggestions that this spot is a nice place to go to. Specially in the summer. Only a 20 minute walk from our hotel, we decided to walk there. Since it's such a nice day out, we saw some nice murals otw. Once we've arrived, we noticed right away that it was quite a draw for the locals. Inside, there's an array of stalls selling a variety of things. From freshly butchered meats, pastries, sandwiches and catered items. The place was nice, clean and definitely a good place to grab necessities specially for the local pop. There's even a communal spot so if you want to eat there and chill with you friends, you can. There are also a bunch of restaurants around the market which we did eat at when we got properly hungry. It's a nice place to go to. I would definitely come back and try other things in the area. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!!!

Yelp
Variety of booths inside the market- crafts, fresh and prepared foods, plants, spices, desserts.. there is a little something for everyone. Ample seating outside and a few tables inside. Friendly vibes throughout, always fun to visit the neighboring shops around the perimeter. Parking is usually not an issue- there's free parking on some nearby streets and paid lot parking right outside the market.
google avatar

Yelp
As one might expect, the Findlay Market offers vendors selling meat, cheese, baked goods, plants, spices, and prepared foods. Compared to the West Side Market in Cleveland and the Eastern Market in Detroit, the Findlay Market is much smaller. There was good quality food. This is definitely an example of gentrification. As someone who is not from the area, the area surrounding the market appears to be very impoverished. The market itself is upscale and the price points of nearly everything I saw at the market was very high. I felt perfectly safe but my wife did not feel safe walking from where we parked (paid parking) to the market. The graffiti, murals, and architecture give this area a lot of character. I spent about an hour here and felt like I saw the entire market plus a few of the small shops surrounding the market. I had a good time, but I don't think I would come back. I would much rather spend time at Jungle Jim's if I was visiting the greater Cincinnati area.
google avatar

Kirsten J.

Yelp
If you are looking to buy locally then this is the place to be. The market is a great place to relax with a good cup of coffee but also offers a wide variety of products. Produce, veggies, baked goods, meats, and so much more are being offered by friendly local vendors. I also especially love that some vendors are offering vegetarian and vegan options or simply sell vegan foods only. Yes: "Like Mom's Only Vegan" I lam looking at you! Best cookies ever!!!!!
google avatar

Lisa G.

Yelp
This place is amazing. It has almost everything you could ask for. It is well known for local businesses

Yelp
What a cool vibe this part of town has!! If I lived in the area I could definitely see myself coming here on Saturdays. Markets are my favorite, I love supporting small businesses and there are plenty of mom and pop stores aside from all the vendors at the farmers market. We were traveling on to Tennessee the day we stopped at the market so any fresh produce or flowers was out of the question, but there was lots of both and it was really hard to not buy anything! We did grab a bagel from OTR bagels and it was delicious. There are plenty of places to eat breakfast or lunch or do some grocery shopping. There's a cute coffee shop and lots of places to sit and people watch. There are even some cute photo ops throughout. We got lucky and got a parking spot in the lot, there was also some street parking. What a pleasant way to spend a few hours!!
google avatar

Sharon K.

Yelp
Cool vibe and lots of cool little stores to check out. Friendly service at all the stores we visited. Got some yummy banana pudding. Lots of deli, meats, seafood, and desserts in the main market building. There were even vegan friendly mock meat dishes. Large selection of food/shops crammed into a rather small area, covers about a block area. Parking lot is kinda small but fairly easy to maneuver. Definitely would visit again.

Yelp
I feel like I need to give Findlay Market another shot, so for right now, it's ending up with an "average" review. As someone who grew up in Cleveland (and went to the West Side Market on field trips as a kid) and who lived in Columbus for years (one block away from the North Market), I am tallying Findlay up against those two establishments. I would say that Findlay Market is a good cross between both the West Side Market and the North Market. Like the West Side Market in CLE, it has historic roots in the city (my grandma tells of stories going there when she lived in OTR back in the late 1930s). It has various local vendors for meats, cheese, fish, etc, which gives it that true "market feel." Similar to the North Market in Cbus (which is just a glorified food court IMHO), Findlay also has an array of local establishments on its "outskirts" (ie not the interior, but nearby and within the same vicinity). I personally went to The Arepa Place for lunch and enjoyed that meal. I walked the area over and over again and was a tad overwhelmed by the options. The layout was also a little confusing and I expected more from the shops on the interior. I also found the interior to be super cramped and congested on a Friday afternoon in April. It also didn't help that there were flies near/around some of the cases. It was in the mid-80s temperature wise, and I was pretty miserable being inside when it was so cramped, so I only walked through once and promptly left. One thing to note is that this market is in a super weird part of town. It seems hip and trendy, but nearby, I didn't feel very safe (in broad daylight on a Friday afternoon). OTR itself is just unique in that every other building is hip and trendy and the ones in between are dilapidated and probably foreclosed. So for those who are not familiar with the area, take note of that and be cautious. So all told, I'm not entirely sure what to make of Findlay. I wasn't super impressed and I also wasn't entirely turned off. I do want to go back and will update my review accordingly.

Yelp
We stopped off at finally market when I was visited for thanksgiving, I had been here in the summer and it was great to get back during the holidays and see people out and shopping local. We passed through for one display in mind. The elves, my cousin mentioned that one of her patients told her about this display and we had to check it out. They are all in the window, worth checking out, they are vintage, cute whimsical and just something fun to check out during the holidays. Another great trip to Findlay market, can wait to get back

Yelp
Sunny yet windy Saturday but enjoyed pushing through crowds to explore the shops and various eateries. Nice way to get some walking in and spend a couple of hours. Easily found parking in the West lot. Nice time with my daughter who is a UC student, my stepdaughter, & husband.

Yelp
A gem for Cincinnati. An indoor and outdoor farmers type market in the historic setting of Over The Rhine. There are restaurants, bakeries, meat shops, fresh produce venders, and small grocers nestled inside and outside. It is a vibrant and eclectic foodies paradise. There are also shops selling hand crafted goods, gourmet cooking utensils or a fine cigar. Stop for a coffee, a craft beer or a cocktail. Enjoy the fragrant smells or take home some gourmet chocolates. There's a lot happening here! A must stop if visiting downtown Cincinnati.
google avatar

Melissa F.

Yelp
Fun thing to do on a Saturday morning! Many vendors with good, drinks, and crafts (both inside/outside).

Gayle K.

Yelp
When you see a line for the scones, don't pass it up - there may not be any left when you get back around. Seriously

Yelp
I only get my meat from the market. And it's jus a vibe to go there and walk around and leave with a yummy hot cinnamon roll. The customer service is always great. A definite recommendation !
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
You name it .... It's gotta be here... chicken pork beef lamb bakery stuff gelato hell..... I don't have the room to list it all . Check it out for yourself... Parking lot nearby and a boat load of restaurants surrounding the market
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
They say it's rated in the top 10 food markets in the world. I disagree however it is fun. Parking can be a bit hard on weekends but it is what it is .

Tonya L.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town and heard good things about the market. It's located in the middle of an extremely run down neighborhood. Most stores were closed or vacant. The main "hall" is a narrow walk path with different shops across from each other. Most offering raw meats, cheese and some seafood. There were a few small food stands that offered waffles, cookies, Mexican food and drinks. If you are nearby it might be worth a look but if you are going to that area just to visit the market I wouldn't recommend it, we felt we wasted gas and time.
google avatar

Rex R.

Yelp
This is one of the coolest places of any city I've been to. There are so many options. Awesome bakeries, coffee shops, bars, dinner spots, and you can get fresh meat, seafood, produce, and handcrafted goods from local vendors. Most places here are counter service only. There is a great vibe about the place with people hanging out at the bars, sitting along the road eating, and socializing. Love this place!
google avatar

Elyssa S.

Yelp
Very cute, the actual market parking lot is VERY tiny and is one way, you can not loop the lot more than once you have to exit and drive all the way around the blocks to get back in again. Not sure if there was more parking somewhere else we missed as we are not from here but if there was it wasn't clearly marked anywhere. The market itself is super cute but quite small. Lots and lots of food but not much more. Was thinking it would be a bit more like Pike Place market in Seattle but inside the actual market it's just food for the most part. Neighborhood itself is sketchy at best, wouldn't stay in the area and wouldn't largely wander outside of the market area either. If you're never been, pop in for some fun food but probably don't need more than an hour to see it all. I think we were in and out in about 35 minutes.
google avatar

Andrea U.

Yelp
We paid five dollars to park for three hours on Elm Street lot. We could have taken the trolley for free. It looks a lot nicer than the Race Street entrance which looks seedy. We walked through the market and out onto the other side and around past the produce, coffee roaster and plants to see more vendors. Spices, pastries, appetizers, meats, breads, wine, tea, arepas, beer, bagels, seafood, chocolates, gelato, pet good, produce, cheeses, paninis, waffles, liquor, , poultry, pasta .... Prices were excellent. There is a lot of variety and a lot of clean seating. They were even clean bathrooms.
google avatar

Mandy R.

Yelp
This is not a Reading Terminal Market, but it is still amazing. The stores around the Finley Market blocks offer cute, ethnic, and trendy stores, boutiques, bakeries, and restaurants. The inside and outside of Finlay Market are filled with vendors of all types; fruits & vegetables, honey, bakery items, meat markets, food, bars, baskets, handmade items, and much more. Great spot to visit.
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
Findlay Market is a must see if you are in Cincy. All types of food and shops and it is on the trolly stop. It is a step up from a Farmers Market. Live music, beer garden, plant shop :) , meat, cheeses, produce, waffle shop, you name it and it is likely there. A great way to spend a part of an afternoon.
google avatar

Carlos S.

Yelp
Spent a good chunk of time at the Findlay Market. It's a very cool area with all kinds of restaurants, coffee places and even a farmer's market which I think is only on weekends. We walked through many stalls, enjoying the scents of everything from bbq to candles. The market itself is a little larger than the North Market in Columbus, but much smaller than Faneuil Hall is Boston, for the sake of a comparison. Lots of stuff to see and do. If you're ever in the area pay a visit.

Yelp
Such a cute market. Come and chill while listening to music. Grab lunch or a snack. Pick up some fresh meat.
