Boston Fall Restaurant Opening Guide 2019 | Eater Boston

"Opening alongside Dryft at 500 Ocean, I portray Fine Line as a beer-bar- and taproom-leaning concept serving casual food (including pizza), whiskey, and more with a relaxed, drink-forward atmosphere." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

Dryft and Fine Line Restaurants to Open on Revere Beach | Eater Boston

"A companion concept that will share the same footprint as the seafood/Italian restaurant but present a very different vibe: a beer-bar and taproom focused on casual fare such as pizza, craft beer, and whiskey. Managed in part by the same team, it aims to bring a touch of Boston to the beach neighborhood with somewhat higher prices than average for the area and is slated to open shortly after the initial restaurant." - Dana Hatic

This is the third time I've given Fine Line a chance and still a disappointment. Had an Orchard and Angry Rooster delivered and it took 1 hour to deliver even though I live 5 mins down the street. Every time I order from them the pizza gets here cold even tho when I order from Dryft it takes less than 20 mins to get here piping hot and the restaurants are right next to each other. The Orchard sounded amazing with "roasted" peaches. Mine came with canned peach chunks slapped on it. Looks nothing like the other pics of the same pizza in the reviews. No hot honey on either pies, cheeses are not on the pizza as listed in the description. Just get Dominos and save yourself $50 for two subpar pizzas.

Google
We had lunch here. Our bar tender Sarah was so amaziing. She was friendly, knowledge about the food. Made a drink with the ingredients we asked for, it was delicious. She was informative about things to do around in town, since we hadn't been to this area before. The food had generous portions and delicious. Large assortment of Beer's on tap. Highly recommend the Fine Line when you're in the area.

Google
I have to say, for brick oven pizza I was really impressed. Their char is no joke and the pizza is so easy to eat, crust perfectly light and not heavy at all. If you like green things the SamMartino is definitely worth trying, creamy zucchini flavors on top of that bubbly crispy crust 👌 We also tried the Orchard and our friend ordered a custom good old sausage and pepperoni and I have to say that sausage and pepperoni evoked some serious FOMO from across the table. Overall very fine experience with great views and a fun environment!

Google
I would give 0 stars if possible. Absolutely horrible customer service. Came here after a wedding and they not only turned us away but they were completely disrespectful to the bride and groom. Do not give this restaurant your business. Waitress and staff proceeded to flip us off after we didn’t even enter the restaurant. My jaw is on the floor by how horrible my friends were treated.

Google
The food here was fantastic. The pizza is wood fired and they have some that you'd think the items never went on a pizza. But we tried the orchard pizza and it was one of the best pizzas we've ever had. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They made sure the kids were taken care of first so they could have happy bellies while the adults ate. Bonus points for a great football game on a screen dead in front of us.

Google
The service was extremely disappointing, with servers repeatedly ignoring our requests after initially taking our order. We also experienced racist behavior, as the staff seemed to exclusively interact with our American friend while disregarding our presence. On a positive note, the pizza was enjoyable, although we found it to be overpriced.

Google
Pizza is very thin and over priced, $18 one size. Barely any cheese or sauce. Horrible service, way too unorganized. The pizza was one of the worst pizzas I’ve had. Dave Portnoy must have been given a special one. Bar most nights is full with state police off duty and also on duty as well since the station is across the street. Disgraceful.

Google
First time in Boston and the food and drinks are amazing! Sam was an excellent server and gave us tips and tricks around the Boston area. I highly recommend a visit here for quick eats or just to spend some time with friends !

Katie B.

Yelp
Sarah was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of us!! We had the best time and Eric makes the most amazing cocktails! This place is by the water and the patio is a vibe

Yelp
Had an overnight layover and stayed at SpringHill Suites right in front of Fine Line. I'm glad we stumbled upon this place. I don't remember our server's name but she was the really sweet girl that tended the bar closing on 4/1/2025. You were so good to us even though we came in 30 minutes before the kitchen closed.Alonso much for that! Place was immaculate. Bathroom, immaculate. Loved the music. Good volume where u could jam in your seat and still hear the conversation at your table. We had the street corn dip, the nachos, the Wonderland pizza, and a pepperoni pizza. Food was excellent! It was my first and only time "in Boston". But when I return, I definitely will make a stop here again. Much mahalo, from da 808!!

Yelp
True Score: 3.5 Stars Not Bad, Odd Spot This place is nestled up a few flights of stairs in the far back of a strange mall like center. You won't find the place from the main road. We drove by the center a couple of times. We ordered a sausage pizza and buffalo cheese curds. The pizza pretty good and so were the curds. The inside is open with a long bar and good amount of TV's to watch a game. Now, the star reduction is for the service. Slow, inattentive, almost to the point that we weren't there. We spent $150 in the joint so we expected more. Thanks

Yelp
This was the location for an after party following a local 5k in the area. Immediately upon walking in, the atmosphere seemed very new and clean. The staff was friendly and sat us Immediately in the place hadn't filled up yet. Post race we had a couple of drinks and some appetizers. The food arrived pretty quickly after we ordered it. Overall I thought the food was okay. I do wish it arrived slightly hotter but I know I love when my food is blistering hot.

Yelp
Located near the Wonderland stop in Revere, this is a great place to go to meet up with friends or to watch sports. It has an upbeat vibe and a low light ambiance. The food is good and the service was even better. I recommend!
google avatar

Garrett B.

Yelp
Wonderland pie was delicious, generalist amounts of whipped ricotta and large fennel cuts. This place has a great beer selection too, many different styles and lots to choose from each. Our bartender was attentive and helpful with the menu. This is a bougie sports bar, has enough TVs and will probably play sound, but I got there early for Monday Night Football but decided to just watch the game at home because it wasn't the right vibe inside. The food and beer here is the star, not the sports bar vibe.
google avatar

Lesle S.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. The food was awesome and we loved our pizza. We ordered the fried goat cheese salad, Brussels sprouts, and the angry rooster pizza. I would eat that salad everyday. It's got strawberries, radishes, a hidden layer of beets, and a beautiful fried puck of goat cheese. Service is amazing and fast. They're playing a variety of music here too and it's not too loud.

Yelp
went here with about 20 people from a wedding where the bride and groom let the owners know we were coming after the reception. we showed up and they denied us service even though our party would have been happy with just beer and no pizza. weird and rude move on their part especially since they were at least 50 minutes from closing and is indeed a bar. lost a lotta business tonight
google avatar

Carol B.

Yelp
Good pizza, nice service and we got to watch the timberwolves game. A little tricky to park and find it but worth it. Clean and well laid out for watching sports.
google avatar

Yelp
This was such a delight to try after walking by it hundreds of times. I just got the cheesy bread with jalepenos added. I like that you can add any pizza toppings to your cheese bread. And it was incredible for something so simple so so yummy. The portion was generous, enough to fill me by myself. Bartenders and hostesses are both wicked friendly and nice. I like that it's a slight step up from your average sports bar but still casual. Definitely definitely will return. The sandwiches looked v good.

Yelp
We just moved to the area and had to come check this pizza place out! They do great drinks and I've tried three pizzas so far , I love the flavor combinations and they come out pretty fast! Service is awesome as well! Great spot for a casual date night! Truffle fries are also to die for! The have rotating special menus too. I've tried their special mango habanero wings: more soy sauce based but the wings were decently sized! I believe their sister restraunt dryft is next door. I prefer fine line for sure (:! Will be coming back!

Yelp
They double drink prices on Fridays. Hotel/condo bars in Miami are worth paying that much for drinks on Fridays. Not Boston. And I am from Boston and still live here.

Carly M.

Yelp
Their pizza is absolutely amazing. My favorite is the wonderland pizza. Truffle fries and burger are also a favorite of mine. The service is usually excellent and love that it is walking distance to my apartment.

Myra V.

Yelp
We have enjoyed the food at Fine Line since they opened. They once had a Cuban Sandwich but that was good but now they have one that rivals the best we have had in Miami! The pizza is always exceptional as is the rest of the menu but, The Cubano is the best ever! Myra and Tito

Yelp
What a great place. The seating is modern, open, airy and comfortable. The wait staff are attentive and friendly. The food is delicious. The pizza crust is thin and light with the right amount of subtle chewiness. Their 14-inch pizzas are easily consumed and before you know it, one can be on slice 5 or 6, but not feel gross from overeating. I saw some of the sandwich options that they were heaping and colorful. I will definitely be back.

Aiden V.

Yelp
I went there last night for a late night bite after working all day with my girlfriend. Upon arrival the kitchen was closing yet they still let us put in an order for food we got half buffalo chicken pizza and half the og with a side order of truffle fries with the tarragon aoli. The food was quick the service was amazing but overall the pizza and fries are to die for. The truffle fries have an amazing crispy buttery outside so the a soft pillowy inside they coat it with seasoning and oil paired with the tarpon would makes a perfect savory/ salty snack, but the pizza had a nice thin crust with a very fresh tomato sauce and some Parmesan and fresh basil. Overall I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Omg... 11/10 for THE FOOD. Truffle Fries, Fried Goat Cheese Salad and our "build your own" pizza were DELICIOUS, no complaints at all. Would come again in a heartbeat! Food also came fast, all tasted perfectly, between 3 hungry girls we finished pretty much all of it. Service was good, when I needed water or hot sauce, the waitress was friendly and smileys Ambiance was stunning -- we sat outside on a beautiful summer night, the view (Revere bridge at night) was gorgeous, ambiance was lovely by the ocean and overlooking the night sky. The inside was also nice, with cool red lights, bar vibes. Only thing to NOTE there are only 3 bathrooms so the line was quite long haha... but at least the stalls were clean. However, the toilet(s) didn't flush.... my friend and I went to 2 different stalls and they didn't work which was kind of bad :/

Yelp
First time here! It's a hidden gem for me. My son and I wanted a great spot to watch the Celtics games and boy it's a great vibe here and the staff are awesome! Thanks Eric, he also recommended some awesome food choices... we ordered fine line egg-rolls and spicy queso dip and the Ball Above All, that's the name of the pizza, now on this pizza are mozzarella, homemade meatballs sliced with caramelized onion, Parmesan, burrata, and basil pesto it's great for an adult with a drink but not for kids. The food was delicious and server was excellent and the place had great vibe with all the Boston Celtics fans. I'm coming back for sure BTW, there's parking in MBTA station parking lots but there's a parking garage fee and you can find the place easily from there. This Fine Line is located behind Dryft restaurant please take your time when looking for parking due to the Revere Beach in this area

Becca R.

Yelp
Best pizza ever! A nice light thin crust Fun atmosphere Great employees All around good service good vibes!

Yelp
I have never wrote a food review before as I don't believe in bashing food - others may have a different taste. BUT you have to be kidding me .... If Dave Portnoy did a pizza review on this place LOL!!! - I think he would be so enraged he would have to buy the place on the spot . Would be his most viewed video to date . I get it , it's a tourist spot , tourists prices ... whatever BUT TO CALL THIS PLACE fair is a joke . Ordered 2 cheese pizzas and an order of wings . EVERYTHING was BURNT!!! The wings were BLACK ! The pizza BURNT, ordered for pick up , the place is 5 floors down - showed up ON TIME "pizza" was cold before my family got back to the hotel room ... for 50 dollars worth of "food" one would think it would successfully feed 4 adults . It feels like I didn't eat anything at all and I'm still hungry. Place 4 soft tortilla wraps on a plate splash a bit of sauce and sprinkle cheese on top and it's the same food this place would give you ... 2 paper plates would be thicker than this "pizza". The aftertaste of char only puts salt on the wounds of your wallet . I urge you to save your hard earned money, your family will be hungry after ordering from this place ... how they can think that's ok to charge the amount of money for something that is that size should be illegal. Absolutely criminal

Yelp
Food is outstanding. Didn't get their pizza but did get their cheesy bread made with the same crust and they were so good. Their pizzas have to also be divine. Two of us had their burger and it was a very good burger. My daughter had the bluto sandwich and she loved it. My wife had the Turkey Piadina sandwich and it was amazing. Service was attentive and the atmosphere is a typical pub atmosphere but a little more laid back. High recommend this place!
google avatar

Terry H.

Yelp
Was trying to go next door but their wait was too long so we convinced ourselves to go here when it started to rain and we didn't want to get too wet waiting outside. It was a great choice. We had burgers and pizza and loved the food, service, and atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
We ate dinner here yesterday. Most of their tables are four person high-tops; they were able to put a few together to accommodate our party. Pizzas are 14" round thin crust with 8 slices. Numerous people in our party said it was the best pizza they have ever had. I had the turkey piadina (sandwich) without bacon. It is turkey, avocado, arugula, mozzarella, tomatoes and garlic aioli. Delicious. Came on a bread that they called "rustic italian flatbread" - I would call it yummy pizza dough/crust. Another member of the party had the fried goat cheese salad which was beet tzatziki, mixed greens, walnuts, apricots, radishes and a balsamic vinaigrette - "one of the best things I've ever eaten". They also had the brussels sprouts app which they also raved about. Friendly service too. We rarely give out 5 stars - no doubt here. Less than 100 yards from Wonderland T stop - you can definitely take the subway there, grab dinner and then head back.

Yelp
Honestly, solid chicky sando, solid sauces, solid bar staff (friendly and attentive), interesting crowd sitting at the bar but a perfect spot to come chill, watch a game, or in my case grab dinner on a night of a work trip. Even saw a couple dates!
google avatar

Joe S.

Yelp
Order a pizza and it came with piece of paper on the bottom, want anchovies only the sample came with the pizza , the mozzarella cheese no flavor at all. The server tried to make it better with little jokes. I did not work. I would recommend this place as a good pizza parlor is just a place to come and a beer.
google avatar

Lilibeth F.

Yelp
Fantastic, Buffalo chicken appetizer $16 not spicy :( seat not many :( pizza was great they had chicken parm sandwich no more tho! Too bad
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
Simple yet fantastic menu with great drinks, and the staff is so friendly! The location is perfect, close to Revere Beach. I'll definitely keep coming back - their pizza is consistently delicious.

Marianne M.

Yelp
Horrible pizza. We ordered a cheese pizza and got one with just tomato sauce and basil! No cheese!!! It was also cold and burnt. We couldn't even eat it. Absolutely horrible. We were thankful to go next door to Dryft which was absolutely fabulous! Fine Line was disgusting and doesn't even deserve a one star!
google avatar

Jos V.

Yelp
Second time here in two days. It's close to my hotel (Springhill suites) and I did like the food (soup and salad) and the service yesterday. Today the staff is just as friendly. Anna Marie, you are so nice! Ordered the same soup and yes, it's good. Spicy enough, but not too much. Right flavor and temperature. I like the melted cheese sandwich that comes with it. Atmosphere: a bit (too?) noisy, but that's okay for a sports bar right? Fair prices. I ordered the 'ball above all pizza'. Taste is average. Personally I would have liked more onions and less Burata. Meat taste is not my preference. Maybe it wasn't the best option to eat after a spicy soup... Pity they don't have root beer and no Dr Pepper. Overall this place gets 4 stars.
google avatar

Lindsay C.

Yelp
Amazing!!! Service was good, food was excellent. It came out hot, fresh, and tasty. It was located right behind our hotel, fresh sea air (if you sit out side). It can be over seen by the first restaurant called Drift, keep walking! It is better than Drift for price compared to portions and taste and service. Definitely a must return to try other items. We hand the IP ham and cheese with tomatoes soup, friend chicken sandwich, roasted Brussel sprouts, and pizza. All which we would order again.
google avatar

Amy R.

Yelp
We were visiting in Revere and stopped in here for some food. We tried the buffalo chicken dip, cheese bread with pulled pork and the meat sweats pizza. A couple cocktails and then a walk to the beach. This place is super clean, spacious & boasts some huge TVs for sports. Some outdoor seating as well. Food was good, the pizza had a spicy honey drizzle that was the best combo of savory & sweet. Staff are friendly and up beat . We really enjoyed this classy sports bar
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Delicious pizza with a marvelous crust! Ample toppings and a tasty sauce equals a great pizza experience. So glad that we chose to order from this restaurant on our last night in Boston. Plus, it was delivered quickly to our hotel, which made it even better. Highly recommend!!!
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Fire Line is a new addition to the Wonderland area (2 months). I stumbled across It by accident. We came here on a Friday evening and it was a good atmosphere / good crowd. Everything we ordered was exceptional - chips and dip, 2 Cesar salads, and Buffalo wings. The dip was mind blowing, the salads were super fresh and had anchovies on them, and the Buffalo wings were some of the best I've had. Another thing that stood out was the service. All the waiters were very attentive, and when I asked the bartender for a to go bag for the wings he went and got it came over to our table and bagged them up. Super nice.
google avatar

Doran G.

Yelp
Solid pizza with nice thin crust and a good char. Didn't try any of the beers, but had a great selection. Huge variety of liquors too.
google avatar

Jeremiah S.

Yelp
Got three pizzas to go as we were staying in the hotel next to the restaurant. VERY surprised at the flavors that came through the pizza! The mean green is an amazing flavor is you like spicy. You will like this place.
google avatar

Allysa O.

Yelp
Came across this really nice spot on Revere Beach on our last day visiting Boston. Excellent service and friendly waiters/management - restaurant interior has limited space but luckily it was a holiday so it wasn't too busy. We loved the Clam of God pizza the most, but everything was very tasty and fresh. I've never had truffle fries with a hint of lemon zest, but it was actually delicious. I'll definitely be returning when we visit Boston again!
google avatar

Mitchell S.

Yelp
Very good pepperoni pizza and awesome cheese pizza haven't tried anything else but their pizza is awesome for the Boston area

Kim L.

Yelp
I am not really a big pizza person, but Fine Line really changed my perspective on pizza. Their pizza is the closest New York style pizza that you're going to get here in Boston. Their thin slice, not too oily pizza is absolutely delicious! The fact that it's right on the beach makes it even perfect, especially during the summer!
google avatar

Melissa D.

Yelp
This place is absolutely delicious! Had a blast- the pizza, wings and dips were so good. They do such a great job. Really friendly atmosphere, greeted immediately and the staff were so easy to get along with, overall great ex (Kids enjoyed every bit of it too, excellent location)
google avatar

Yelp
Thanks to Covid, I've ordered take out more than anything but since I just had my first dine-in experience I figured now was a good time to write a review. I like this place! It's SO NEEDED in this area. Revere Beach is in the middle of a massive facelift and Fine Line is the perfect addition. Casual yet clean and modern. The food is great! From pizza to the wings (Buttery BBQ ftw!) to sandwiches, all are very tasty and made with fresh ingredients. They also seem to have a really nice selection of alcoholic beverages. They are in a great location right between Wonderland Station and the beach so super convenient for people taking the T to get there. The take out has always been right on time, and friendly faces greeting you as you grab your stuff. The dine-in experience was just as pleasant. We had a friendly server and several teammates checked in to make sure we were doing ok. We brought our baby and there is plenty of room in their patio for something big and clunky like our stroller. We will be back again!

Tom D.

Yelp
Visited here in August 2023. We couldn't take advantage of the outside seating as it was raining. We ordered cheese stick appetizer, steak egg roll appetizer, and a pepperoni sausage mushroom pizza. The cheese sticks were small squares of mozzarella which are breaded with chitos, tasty enough, but not my favorite way to get them. The steak egg rolls had an off flavor to them, kind of like the steak had spoiled. Did not like them at all. The pizza was the star of the show. Thin crust, large size with a decent amount of toppings. The cupped pepperoni made it one of the best pizzas I've had in years!! Highly recommend the pizza, but be wary of the appetizers
google avatar

Tara V.

Yelp
Found this place on Uber Eats and it did not disappoint! Think I've ordered their Buffalo dip over 3 times this last week alone. Delish! Tried the pizza tonight and it was incredible also! Uber Eats delivery was fast and it's one of the only places on the Northshore that is opened for delivery past 9pm.
google avatar

Mari T.

Yelp
I was staying near the airport hotel and ordered a delivery from here. The Turkey BLT and sliders were great, not too oversized, just the right amount. We ordered around 5:15 and food arrived in an hour.
google avatar

Tony M.

Yelp
Just tried this new place and the pizza was truly awesome--and inventive. A welcome and much-needed addition to the North Shore pizza scene. Try the Ball Above All Pie. Not many pizzerias can get a meatball pie right in my book because the meatballs are usually overlooked. Fine Line nailed it! We'll be back for more takeout.

PJ G.

Yelp
Good timing in requesting a late arrival due to traffic. Great overall pizza. Friendly staff.
google avatar

Logan R.

Yelp
Excellent Service, food was great, our server was nice, and basically right next to our hotel!

C S.

Yelp
Ooooooh their pizza is good! Pleasantly surprised by this place. Pretty solid beer lineup, friendly servers and the food was delicious. We had some buffalo wings, which were very meaty, tasty and perfectly cooked. Good authentic buff wings are a rarity in MA, so this was a really great find. We also ordered the OG pizza, which was delicious. Thin, light crust style. Sat at the bar to watch the March Madness games. They have a ton of TVs, so perfect spot to catch a game.

Molly W.

Yelp
Surprisingly good pizza and salads. Brussel sprouts are really good, and there's a nice drink selection

Lori B.

Yelp
Finally tried Fine Line today for lunch. It's some of the best pizza I've had anywhere in the States. Its rivals are only Ciao in Chelsea, Santarpio's in Eastie, and maybe Regina's in the North End (only because I lose patience with the attitude at Regina's). It's a rockin' bar/casual restaurant vibe with rock music at a volume you can talk over, and the staff is chill and very friendly. They seem to love being there, and take pride in the place. The Caesar was perfect, chopped with homemade croutons and fresh parm shaved over the top, dressed perfectly. The pizza! This is my new place. We got 2: the Wonderland with mozzarella, house sausage, fennel and whipped ricotta; and the Ball Above All, with house-made meatballs, caramelized onions, parm, burrata and pesto. Pizzas run about $21 and are generously sized. Just go!
