We booked a table through Dine Athens for 30€ pp and the menu was amazing. We tried a corn dish, mussels and two dishes with brisket. We also tried the mac & cheese which was tasty and included meat. The dessert was exceptional. The cocktails are also good and there is a wide variety of whiskeys. The service was also good, attentive and polite. Would definitely visit again.

I didn't know I needed "fine BBQ dining" in my life, but Fine Mess Smokehouse has raised the bar for this American. Everything was delicious, interesting, and beautifully presented. I can personally recommend the "Don't Tell Julio" cocktail and the brisket, but everyone in my party absolutely raved about their choice.

Really good unique find in a city with tons of choices. Food, ambiance and drinks all check out. Bartender was friendly. Kostas, one of the owners, was great to talk to. Would recommend a reservation as the place fills up fast. You can tell the kitchen puts effort and thought into the dishes.

One of the most delicious meals I have ever had. I have recommended this place to every one of my friends that was planning on going to Athens! We ordered always every appetizer and each of us had a different main course. The short rib looked stunning!

Great effort, well thought dishes, amazing presentation without overdoing it. Texture, taste, presentation - all perfect. Great pairing woth smoked amber ale. We got surprised by some dishes like the Brie Creme Brulee that was savoury - so good! And the place dog friendly. At least the outdoors seating area.

To start with , service is amazing as Dimitries gave us amazing recommendations weather it was regarding the drinks or the food . Drinks were perfect , well balanced well studied . Food , we had the duck fingers as teasers which home great with drink Bread offered was very well baked We had brisket and steak .. another fine art All above oils great weather ❤️

The food was great. I got the steak and it melted in my mouth. I highly recommend the brisket mac and cheese. On the downside the service was SLOW (even for european standards). It was only me and my wife and we were there for 3 HOURS!!! By the end of the night we were pretty upset and happy to leave. The food was great but the service was a 2/5 for me. In my opinion this should never happen at a restaurant on the Michelin guide.

My first dinner in Athens was at Fine Mess. It was a welcomed experience after traveling for a few days in Sri Lanka. They have offerings similar to an American BBQ restaurant but with a refreshing take on traditional dishes. We ordered a few plates and all shared. Each dish had a great presentation and all of them were tasty. We also ordered dessert and had a glass of vermouth at the end of the meal. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was cozy. I certainly recommend this place and look forward to dining here again.
