Nice wine selection and some tasty tapas, but I would never come here for dinner again unless they change the menu. You could have a meal of small plates, but only if $24 tapas are your idea of a hot date. Many dishes, such as the "Japanese Paella" and steak, were more sizzle (or fat) than steak and tasted like visually attractive Pinterest recipes that no one had ever bothered to taste. For $65 a person or more, on the whole, the food was passable at best and the duck was simply inedible and half-raw. While this was taken back without comment, we were later told that we were tasting it wrong. We also went without water at one point and when we saw the staff glued to Facebook on their phones on the way out, we knew why. At least the hostess was nice. Oysters: good. Wine list: good. Dinner: exorbitant disappointment.

Always enjoy the food, drink and company of Fine Palate! Great wine selection and every so often let Tiffany (bartender) spice up the evening with a cocktail. My favorite go to items on the menu are Buffalo Tartar and the Burrata, but definitely one of the best steaks in the area. Most recent try (definitely worth it) is the Tuna Tartar! Check them out for happy hour or date night!

Take this review with a grain of salt. We came here for Sips (city wide happy hour) and had some very uninspired cocktails. I understand it's a happy hour and I cannot expect full quality but these drinks did not set a good expectation for the restaurant. The pizza was reasonably tasty and well decorated but slightly soggy. Alternatively, the ambiance was really nice. It is a very sleekly and tastefully decorated place with friendly and helpful staff.

Trust me, the food here is the best in The City. Period. Vince is a great chef and he has a very storied resumé with the top Restaurants in the world. He choose to open up the establishment with Courtney and the results speak for themselves. If I May speak for them, the best Chicken Parm, Oysters, and Vegi dishes are here at Fine Palate. I eat her every week.

Advertised menu for "Fine Palate" restaurant week. Just about all of these were unavailable or were vastly different on the in-restaurant menu. The wine pours were super stingy and didn't even come in actual wine glasses. The iced tea was steeped so long so it tasted bitter, they didn't have decaf coffee, the diet Coke was watery and they offered "assorted desserts" which ended up meaning that you received rock hard frozen chocolate mousse. and when we asked if it was a mistake (because who would serve frozen mousse to customers) we were told that it was served as intended. We complained that an assortment of desserts implies some sort of choice and were given a single slice of cheesecake to share. The staff (despite all the drama) was super nice and was clearly preoccupied with a bridezilla's rehearsal dinner (the bride to be decided to have a meltdown in front of our table. We were invisible apparently). The actual food was OK. The salad was just a typical house salad with a light vinegarette. The soup was an average potato soup (far from the winter root vegetables advertised). The 3rd course was pot stickers and gnocchi which was probably the best part of the meal. The short rib was very fatty and served with a bunch of plain wide noodles instead of any vegetables. The pot pie was fine but the sauce was thin. Overall it was an extremely mediocre experience. The polite staff was the only real shining moment.

Went there when traveling to the city, food was great, lots of variety there is something for everyone. I asked if the waitress would just pick out my food(so many options ) and she had the chef come out. Nice little guy I think his name is Vince- not sure how he was able to make all this food being the place was packed but he did and it was great. Very cool actually stayed a while and hung out at the bar. Great food, great people really nice place for a casual high end dinner. Thanks fine Palate for showing me a great time

I recently had my birthday dinner at Fine Palate. Upon walking in the staff greeted us immediately and let us know our table was ready for our party of 7. We opted to do the chefs tasting menu and wow were we thrilled we did! The food and service were so incredible my friends and I haven't stopped raving about it since!! They were very accommodating of our one vegetarian guest and those who had food allergies. I loved it so much my BF and I will be heading back this weekend just the two of us for dinner and cocktails. I highly recommend visiting this gem!! Oh and the drinks are yummmm!

The server was nice, ambiance, nice. Food was not at all good. The server did attempt to make up for it, and had one of the dishes remade. I like "fussy" foods layered with surprising elements. Your chef totally missed the mark, and should consider simplifying dishes focusing on flavor. The prices, I can't remember if they were too high or simply too high for what we were served.
