Finlandia Hall

It is one of the most important architectural attraction in Helsinki. Alvar Aalto's design was finished in 1947 in its beautiful central location by the Toolo Bay. The white Carrara marble facade, in contrast with black granite, make it one of the most beautiful buildings in Helsinki.

Very romantic place, fresh air, and people also walk with their dogs or ride a bicycle. You can also walk on the river because it is ice on. You can start from the Oodi library and continue your walking tour with The Opera Theatre.

Impressive, Aalto's top work, architecture modern wonder. Cant get any better. Bring the best camera you can get and spend a couple hours discovering every angle of this masterpiece

Nice congres centre, designed by Alvar Aalto. The location of the building is close to the city centre and the Main train station. It is not that far from other places, it is worth the visit. The insides are traditionally 60s or 70s, but it has been modernised. You cant miss it if you are around..

Hellsiki is a beutiful city with plenty of interesting history. Finland's Hall is very nice.

Wonderful masterpiece of Aalto architecture with endless wealth of well-thought details.

To me, the most eye-catching and meaningful event held here is the annual indendence day reception to all the 4th grade school kids hosted by the mayor of hki. An architectural beauty. Also the maintenance costs the taxpayers dearly.

A nice place to relex and do some water activities.
