I had such a great experience at Finn McCool’s Irish Pub! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was truly the best — friendly, fast, and welcoming from start to finish. The ambiance was perfect too, with a cozy, upbeat atmosphere that made the whole visit even better. Overall, it’s definitely a place I’d recommend for anyone looking for great food, amazing service, and a fun Irish-pub vibe!

Google
We enjoyed a delicious meal tonight at your restaurant. . Caesar salad was fresh, crisp and dressed perfectly. I had Shrimp pasta and my husband had fish and chips. Both dishes were served hot and in a timely manner by our fantastic waitress Piper. Your food is delicious and portions are generous.

Google
Went for breakfast (added the menu as I could not find it on their website), sat outside on the large front porch. I ordered the Banana and Nut pancakes. When it arrived, it had no bananas on top, nor did it have a banana taste. The pancake itself was light and fully, and the peacons were ripe and crunchy. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. Overall I would return to Finn McCools.

Google
Great Irish Pub! Loved the Stew and Shepherd's Pie. Homemade potato chips are delicious! Highly recommend trying if you are in town.

Google
The food was pretty good. Nice little local Irish pub. The staff were very friendly. I like that they have a deck and didn't mind my dog hanging out there with me. 4.2

Google
Get the homemade chips. Not your average bag thrown with a sandwich - they have both in the menu. Good sandwiches, but we go back year after year for the chips. Parking is not fully paved and a bit rutted so watching where you walk is a must. We stopped in after golf.

Google
Very nice pub to get a drink and a meal. The shrimp and flounder were fried to perfection. Very chrispy and light batter. And The hush puppies were great. Try the Blarney Stone burger and the McCools chips. A nice little Christmas desert was included. I definitely will be back soon I want to try the corned beef and cabbage.

Google
Needed a quick bite to eat on a rainy evening. Piper was an amazing waitress, recommended the pork chops and they were as good as she said! Will definitely stop back in this place next time I'm at Myrtle Beach

Yelp
We've been wanting to try this place for a while the past couple times we've visited Myrtle. Finally we had the chance! Boy, we're so happy we did!!!! Good was hot, fresh and delicious. Our server was great and recommended amazing things. It was a little loud in there which was weird as where we were sitting in what seemed like it would have been a quiet area. But what do you expect really when the food was that good it's packed in there and everyone's happy and enjoying every part of it. Our server also told us they have breakfast as well so we are excited to try that out the next time we come. We will be back next year for sure.

Yelp
Stopped in for a light lunch and ordered the Cesar salads, one with blackened chicken and one with tuna. The portions were huge and food was good. The server was super sweet!

Yelp
Service took forever. Had pork chops which were large, but not 25 minutes on the stove large. They tasted good. It is a locals joint.

Gracie D.

Yelp
Great food and service. Got the Alabama Slammed pitcher and it was very good. Great fish and chips.

Kevin P.

Yelp
We had lunch with drinks at Finn's. Service was excellent. Lunch portion sizes were hefty. Food is tasty but not special in terms of preparation or flavors. It was perfectly tasty and warm (or cool for salads). Drinks were well-poured and flavorful. Ambiance was what you'd expect for a pub at Myrtle Beach. Overall a solid meal at a reasonable price.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere! This is definitely a place on my return to list. Good Irish selections.
google avatar

Josh S.

Yelp
what a absolutely hidden gem in Myrtle Beach! From the food to the staff is amazing. The atmosphere is home town bar. You can't go wrong. The staff is just as amazing as the food. Barbara was our waitress @ the bar and she was so amazing!!
google avatar

Meghan S.

Yelp
Finn McCool's is definitely a bar for locals and golfers visiting the area. The food is typical bar food with a few "Irish" dishes included on the menu. Unfortunately, the peel & eat shrimp was mushy and served on small styrofoam plates. They were short staffed, like a lot of places in NMB, and the waiter was doing his best. If you are looking for a true Irish pub, this is not it. If you are looking for a hole in the wall place to drink after a few rounds of golf, this is your place!

Yelp
Great Irish ambience. Fantastic bartender made good drinks! Tasty food! Great job everyone!
google avatar

Ryan B.

Yelp
The service was awesome, the beers were cold and the vibes were immaculate!! We would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Jessica M.

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was! We sat at the bar and had the best service! She recommended the clam chowder. The best I have had in the south. We split a Rueben and house made chips. They make the corned beef daily and this was the best sandwich with the thick cut corned beef loaded into the sandwich. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Stopped in during a recent vacation. Very, very friendly bartender and staff. Obviously feeling the pressure of finding people in the kitchen though, as a very simple order took a very long time to receive. Again though, handled very well by the staff, and a decent selection of beers in a good environment overall.

Susan K.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, service, food quality and taste, and portions!! Their sign was damaged by an accident but they are open!!!! Our party had: Caesar salad - excellent Fish and chips - excellent McGullycuddy Reuben - excellent Chicken parm - excellent Two from our party were there prior and said the Bowl of Longford stew is outstanding. We all highly recommend McCool and will certainly go back!!

Yelp
This was our first stop for lunch at Myrtle Beach and it was delicious! My kids all got the linguine and loved it also. My Turkey club was loaded and delicious as well. The service was great and meals came out fast.

Chuck R.

Yelp
Appetizer of fried mushrooms were delicious. I could make a meal of them. Shrimp Alfredo was great. The cream sauce was perfect. Servers did a great job, considering two quit right before we came in. The other two servers were great covering the place with very few delays. The inside atmosphere was that of a bar, and that was expected, though the outside dining was much better. No qualms with the inside dining.

Vince B.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and the wait staff was fun and attentive. We had a large party with many different drink requests and waitress was on top of everything. We also had a couple people who are big on customizing there order and everyone's food came out perfect

Yelp
Finn McCool's is a great local place for drinks and food. The onion rings are a must --- they're out of this world---batter dipped, and they still have a great bite, are perfectly cooked, not greasy. McCool chips, which accompany the meals, are fresh-made potato chips that are fantastic. I ordered the club sandwich, which is made with fresh, not processed, turkey - absolutely delicious.
google avatar

Kyra R.

Yelp
Great service and excellent food. My table had the burger, fish & chips, the Reuben, and the hotdogs. All were excellent. The house made chips were so good!!! We were so glad to stop by.

Karl J.

Yelp
Good service and some tasty shepherds pie that I've had in a time. Could do a little better on the quality and quantity of the calamari. (Waterville Wings) Which I looked over because I just saw "Wings" the first time. Might want to change that.

Heidi W.

Yelp
Service. Rachel was very rude this morning. Facial expressions and comments were uncalled for! If you're not happy with your job, find something else!
google avatar

Brian K.

Yelp
Saturday evening around seven this off the beaten path joint was a great night out. Fried mushrooms & broccoli cheese bite apps were large hot and good. 4 top with variety of seafood, burger and chicken entrees, all were plenty large servings, fresh and hot. Nice 'homemade' french fries! Everything came out pretty quick and correct. Staff was attentive, fun and polite. Average prices for the area, nice bar selections.

Cheryl R.

Yelp
This is a great place! Good food, reasonable prices, and fantastic staff! Always a fun place to visit!
google avatar

Diane W.

Yelp
Dinner on vacation. Server was entertaining/funny. Food was mediocre. Husband had the fried shrimp dinner. There were only 6 shrimp which were not crispy and a lot of cold fries. Hushpuppies were decent. Cole slaw was plain and kind of dry. Mixed grill dinner was not worth the money. Steak was good, pork chop was tough and chewy, chicken was not good. Baked potato was good. Ribeye steak dinner was decent. Garlic bread was really good. Potato skins were ok, but you only get 5. They were out of several beers on tap. Probably won't go back.

Yelp
Great service!! The beef stew is AWESOME! The best I've ever had!! So much favor, so fresh great portion! I highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Brenda B.

Yelp
We went into the establishment and sat at the bar for 15 minutes. The bartender didn't acknowledge we were there. The staff were arguing with a gentleman about whether he was willing to help out or not. He finally went and got some ice. The atmosphere seemed too chaotic so we left.
google avatar

Chick W.

Yelp
Food was ok service sucked, road was noise horrible never again will I spend my money there
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
We ate here only because we didn't know where else to go short notice. Food was ok. Service was terrible.
google avatar

Doozer B.

Yelp
Came for lunch. Ordered the Reuben and Maloney's Special (chicken BLT). Both delish! Came with homemade potato chips and ranch dressing. Bartender awesome. Atmosphere pubish. Would return!
google avatar

Chance S.

Yelp
Came to the Eatery with my family, the waitress Tori was phenomenal. She played a game with my children and had them a surprise chocolate mouse made. Even a waitress who wasn't ours came by to talk to the kids and was very kind. The food was better than you would expect a casual pub could be, especially for the price. The fresh chips were spot on. Great atmosphere, excellent service, will definitely go again.
google avatar

Annette S.

Yelp
Blood Mary could kick this light weights ars. Rueben is was awesome more corn beef than sauerkraut! Plus she get to add your own thousand Island dressing so it's just the right amount
google avatar

Marc D.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Definitely a local spot. Amazing service. Everyone was friendly and had some great jovial character to them. The food came out fast fresh and hot! Shrimp was amazing. The onion rings are really good I have to recommend them for sure. I was craving pasta and the chicken parm was not to bad for an Irish spot. The sauce was sweet fyi. This is a great place I will for sure return to.
google avatar

Yelp
We are in the area twice a year and always eat here at least twice each visit! The staff is so friendly and the food is always great.

David S.

Yelp
Our neighbors raved about this place so we gave it a try. We were not over whelmed. Average at best for food and slower than most got service. Irish stew was nothing special and tasted like Dinty Moore Beef Stew with a shot of Guinness. Will we go back, maybe, maybe not.
google avatar

Rebecca H.

Yelp
We ordered for lunch through Uber Eats. They were out of potato skins, but I own a catering business and there's just times where you can't get certain things these days, so I don't know if that was the issue or not. We had the calamari which was great, the Reuben, and turkey club. The house chips were soggy, but that could have been due to being in a styrofoam box. The Reuben was fantastic. The corned beef was thick cut and really piled on. The sauerkraut seemed house made bc it was still very crunchy, which was great, although I like mine a bit more fermented, it was still really good. My husband had the club, and he said it was really good. I would definitely recommend this place for a casual bite.

Donna M.

Yelp
We have been here several times and the food never disappoints! The corned beef dinner is outstanding. Stuffed peppers are the best I have ever had! The service was excellent. It's not a fancy place, just a great place to hang out and have a great meal or snack!

Juli W.

Yelp
Lack luster for me. I don't think that my friends and I were the target demographic for this restaurant as most of the other patrons were older folks. There was a mix up in my fried chicken sandwich and my friends fried cod sandwich, when we first noticed the waiter was insistent that the two sandwiches were correct and that the cod just tastes like chicken.

Yelp
Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from... the staff was awesome and the food was very good pub food. Wings were delicious (if you don't like heavy sauce ask for lighter), the onion rings are the best I've had, the fish and chips were awesome (fish batter is similar to the onion rings and light and flaky, the fish is thick and tasty and the kettle chips ARE REAL... they aren't "soggy" as others posted, they just came out of the cooker... let them sit. So good). The place was packed with locals at 1135... 5 mins after opening. Lol. We will be back.

Yelp
Wonderful neighborhood eatery/Pub. Food is always good and they have a broad menu. Service has always been good.

Kevin G.

Yelp
Service is great. Atmosphere is cool. Many has a good selection of food and drinks. They advertise shepherd pie put so far it has not been available.

Matt H.

Yelp
It's just not good. Place has a dirty feel. Didn't even have good wings. Service was eh. Very nice people. I wouldn't go back
google avatar

Marva J.

Yelp
Always excellent and we have been many times over the years! Glad a favorite is still here and serving great food with a smile! Barbara is great and the food is very consistent . The Reuben is great and the Irish beef stew can't be missed. The stew is simple, hearty , tasty and served with great garlic toast. The bar service is always excellent .

Jeff K.

Yelp
Very dissatisfied! How can an Irish place be out of Shepards pie?! And fish n chips without fries??
google avatar

Mark K.

Yelp
Hard to call it an Irish pub when you have no Irish pub food. Granted it was the days after the Memorial Day weekend, but they had no shepherds pie, no corned beef, and no potato skins. We ordered a spinach and artichoke dip (which was good) and some drinks and then went somewhere else for dinner

Derek N.

Yelp
blonde bartender is 900 years old and needs to retire...miserable. tried going 3 separate occasions as its close by...always disappointing...always hoping for new staff and maybe be better but nope....this will be last time we go. so many better choices in area too. If u want to wait 10 mins to be greeted while sitting at bar, go here. place sucks. stay away
google avatar

Margaret R.

Yelp
This is the place to eat in Myrtle Beach! Great service, food and drinks!! Great prices too!!!

Gel T.

Yelp
Great food ! Great Service ( Barb is amazing ) and just one of our must places to go every time we are in Myrtle
google avatar

Yelp
Went in tonight and it was kind of busy - but not that busy. We sat at the end of the bar and there were (I counted them) 28 dirty glasses that hadn't been bussed. It was gross. The bartender was nice but the vibe in the place was off - it felt like the staff were either under trained or just negative. We got some beers and ordered some food but one of the things my wife wanted wasn't available and we just peaced out without eating. The bartender was nice but I don't regret not eating there. It looked like it was going to take forever to get my food. It wasn't a positive experience.
google avatar

Stan M.

Yelp
My wife and stopped in for a beer , they were playing gospel music which is fine but just seemed strange for an Irish pub , ordered 2 beers both were flat and were terrible. Just paid the tab and left . Def not an Irish pub with flat Guinness ,

Bill R.

Yelp
Always great food and company. Barb is the best Bartender in area by far. Gotta have the chips mc cool when there.
