Just completed an exceptional flight with Finnair from Doha to Helsinki in business class, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. **Service Excellence** The cabin crew was absolutely outstanding - professional, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the journey. From the moment I boarded, the team made me feel welcomed and well taken care of. Their expertise and friendly demeanor really set Finnair apart from other carriers I've flown with. **Aircraft Quality** The aircraft itself was in pristine condition. Very decent airline for very little money - €600 for return flights to Singapore with amazing connections? The service was quite ok, although nowhere near what SQ does. But then, this is cheap option. Very decent food, although could be served without ridiculous wooden forks. Hate those! Nice onboard entertainment system with tons of choices. All in all very happy and would recommend to anyone!

I am really happy with Finnair. This is my third flight with them. Very organized and professional with new equipment. The staff is professional and friendly. Business class is the most comfortable I’ve experienced and the food is terrific. The price is friendly also. Thanks for the good service… I’ll be back.

My experience with Finnair: flight Vienna - Helsinki - LAX. Flight is supposed to depart at 11.35. At 9.35am, 2 members of the crew arrive to check in counter, and start turning all the systems on. Check in for almost full flight starts at 9.47am. Check in moves SLOW. Flight is delayed by about 40 minutes, I miss my connecting flight. I request compensation from Finnair because I reached my final destination with 7+ hour delay. Response: blaming the weather. Oh, and for the long flight they provide 1 meal. The 2nd meal you have to buy. And they rerouted me on American Airlines flight, who did not provide any blankets and it was very cold in the plane. Instead of 1 stopover, I had 2 stopovers. The positive is that the plane temperature on Finnair was good, seats were comfortable, crew was very nice and friendly.

Charging for seat choice, even almost the whole airplane is empty. Charging for drinks in the airplane now. Feels like a Low Cost Carrier. Food is even worse than Lufthansa and that is very difficult, salat without dressing, food in paper boxes... Take care when booking JAL that there is no Code Share with this Airline.

We just had an amazing 12h flight from Tokyo to Helsinki on JL6877, thanks to the great crew and Malin and Kosuke. Special thanks to them for the excellent service! Otherwise the legroom is just good (but I am tall), food is tasty, the infotainment system is modern and rich in features. Thank you!

Finnair – Never Again We flew with Finnair from Helsinki to Bangkok and back, and it was a major disappointment. I paid for Premium Economy specifically for the extra comfort and the option to choose between two main meals. On the way to Bangkok, the meal we wanted was already gone by the time they reached us, so we had no choice but to take the second option. On the return flight from Bangkok, it was even worse – again, the meal we selected wasn’t available, and we were given food from Economy class instead. I sent an email to Finnair about the issue, but no one ever replied. This was not the level of service I paid for. Never again.

Updated: Finnair Followed Through When It Mattered We ran into a serious issue with our Finnair booking from Doha to Chicago. Due to regional tensions and safety concerns, we needed to leave early and were initially told we could self-transfer to Helsinki and still board our Helsinki–Chicago flight. The next day, we were told the opposite, with no written confirmation despite requesting it. After escalating the issue, Finnair followed up and honored the arrangement—allowing us to safely continue our journey. While the initial confusion caused a great deal of stress during an already tense situation, we appreciate that the team ultimately made the right call. Thank you for responding under pressure.
