10 Best Irish Pubs in Miami | Eater Miami

"Finnegan’s Way on Ocean Drive is your go-to spot if you like an Irish pub with a beach view. Part Irish pub, part tourist attraction, Finnegan’s Way offers a plethora of Irish-themed cocktails such as the Irish Mule, the Bloody O’Mary, and the Lucky Leprechaun. It might not be the most traditional, but after a day on the beach, one of its frozen Irish coffees is better than a pot of gold." - Laine Doss

The Best Fish and Chips in Miami | Eater Miami

"Politics aside, the Irish also love fish and chips, and this Miami Beach pub dutifully complies. The crispy, beer-battered cod comes served with fries and even a chardonnay recommendation for those who want to elevate their meal." - Alona Martinez

Google
This is a nice spot for some good bar food, my brother and I got to enjoy some basics during our first night of vacation (Wednesday February 5, 2025) and it was great! This was also one of the few places that has Heineken 0 for those who want to drink non alcoholic beer. We sat at the bar and the service was just okay, also since it’s Florida, the gratuity is usually automatically added! Overall it’s just a nice spot for those of us who might want something low key.

Google
I have really nothing to complain about.. even if I want to. Reliable service, tasty food and good range of beers on tap and more in bottles. Their menu is very well balanced and must please everyone. Starting at 10am with full-Irish breakfast through many beer-bites till lobsters and steaks. 16oz NewYorker was splendid! Smart spot to enjoy lazy beach day.. drinking beer and watching TV live sports :-)

Google
A great place to stop on the beach if you want to catch a game and a good pint of Guinness. Service was great and the drinks too. Split the appetizer combo between 3 people and it was enough to serve as a mini lunch. Very delicious.

Finnegan’s Way in South Beach is where breakfast goes to party. This place isn’t just serving food—it’s serving vibes. Let’s start with the French toast: thick, golden slabs of perfection that practically demand a slow-motion syrup pour. Sweet, crispy-edged, and just the right amount of decadent—it’s like dessert decided to show up early. Then there’s the giant breakfast sandwich… and when we say giant, we mean bring-a-friend level big. Eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese—layered so high it’s got its own zip code. Pro tip: don’t attempt solo unless you skipped dinner the night before. And that curbside atmosphere? Prime people-watching real estate. Breezy, shaded, and steps from the beach, it’s the kind of spot where you can fuel up and still feel like you’re on vacation—even if you’re a local. Come hungry, leave happy, and maybe slightly sun-kissed. Finnegan’s is the breakfast MVP of Ocean Drive.

I have now been here three times on two different vacations. It’s a great sports bar if you are trying to catch your game/team. The bartenders are amazing and attentive. I enjoy the spaghetti when I go; it does well enough when I have a craving for simple spaghetti. The garlic toast on the side is always a plus.

Went with a group of 8 so we all got a variety of food, from the moment we got there, they were very welcoming and helped us get the football game on that we wanted to see on two of the tv’s nearest to our table. They also made sure we had a fan facing us since it was so hot in Miami in September. I got the lobster ravioli, it was okay (7/10), my boyfriend got the shrimp linguini, it was a bit bland (7/10), a friend got the shrimp Mac and cheese (unknown rating but she kept saying it was so good), two friends got the lobster and steak, they enjoyed the lobster but one thought the steak lacked flavor (we’re in front of an ocean so I figured that duh they’re seafood would be best so I don’t fault them), another got the nachos and they crushed them, one for the mahi mahi sandwich and finished it as well and lastly one got the fish and chips and he also finished it all. I’d say overall between the service, food and location- it was definitely a 7.5/10. We would definitely return if given the opportunity because the service and location alone are a great place to be for a decent grub and good drinks.

My Brother and I were passing by and stopped in for a Drink, it was Happy Hour 4-7 so Beers were reasonably priced. Didn't order food so cannot comment. It was a nice place to relax for an hour or so and pretty friendly.

Google
Don't go here if you're hungry lol terrible service. I'm sure the liquor is good! Basically just a sports bar. Only good dish is the shrimp Mac n cheese. Don't bother with the lobster ravioli. Lots of other good food on this street!

Yelp
Great food, hometown environment and great service!!!! This place has it all, and then some. Open 7 days a week with a great line-up of all sporting events. Across the street from the ocean and in the heart of South Beach, this is a sure must-see while in town or if you want to go somewhere to catch the game with your friends. I've kicked back at this place for years and it's always been a great experience.

Yelp
So sad to post this as Finnegan's has been there a long time and is a much needed inspiration to Ocean Drive amongst all the tourist joints, but there food continues to just be borderline inedible. Even basic items like sandwiches just have no taste or taste outright bad. They give big portions if you find something on the menu you like, but year after year the food always seems off. Still a great place for beer and drinking and watching a game so definitely recommend going for that. Posting in the hope that the owners will read these reviews and go sample their food and make an improvement. Staff is very friendly even when dealing with some of the odd ball characters who haunt that section of SoBe.

Yelp
Great service food is always is asked for friendly fun environment. Been coming here for over 10 years when in Miami Beach.

Yelp
Our last meal in Miami! So sad! We didn't want to the fun to end! But back to reality! I ordered myself a Hawaiian pizza and my bf ordered himself a shrimp pasta. I wasn't a fun of my pizza and my bf's pasta was hitting! So of course my sweet bf switched with me! Got to love him for his kindness! The had the game on too with a bar so you can get your drink on. Definitely a sports bar for sure! Definitely would stop by here again to watch a game and get my drink on!

Yelp
Finnegan's way is your average Irish style pub. Great bar foods and ice cold beers. Finnegan's is located along the Miami Beach strip with an open front view of the beach and great place to drink and people watch. Time flys by here with the games on TV and the views out front. We only had appetizers so the whole menu wasn't explored. The wings are decent here and are worth trying. Overall we had a great time here and enjoyed our drinks and appetizers. Definitely an easy place to stop by for a game and a drink.

Yelp
A must stop first stop when I visit Miami Beach. Go to the outdoor bar the service may or may not be tipsy but consistent? lol who cares get your favorite beer on tap and just trust me - get the bruschetta!!
google avatar

Randy Y.

Yelp
Worst service. Food sucked. Stay away or you'll be sick. Happy hour on a Friday night and nobody bartending

Stacy H.

Yelp
Worst service ever!!! We ordered drinks and an apps for 4 people. Waited 20 minutes for water down drinks. Final the app came 20 minutes after that and the after waiting 45 minutes and final had to ask for our check just to get the hell out of there!!! So sad as we would have ate dinner had we had service.

Yelp
This is an Irish Pub but nothing special and they automatically charge you 18% gratitude without asking. I ordered a Guiness beer and Moscow mule and the tab was $30 with 18% gratitude included. This strip is a rip off mainly because it's on the South Beach Miami where the tourist spots are located and other places charge 20% gratitude so beware...
google avatar

Yelp
Super casual and fun spot on south beach. I only come here a couple times a year during the Flogging Molly cruise and they are never prepared for our numbers. They work as fast as they can and are very nice. When it is slower, the service is better. I haven't eaten here but many of our crew got the happy hour oysters and were raving about it.
google avatar

Nai A.

Yelp
This is definitely a sports bar. The waitress didn't check on us after we ordered. The food was mediocre. I ordered the smoke fish dip and it wasn't very Smokey. And lacked flavor. The nachos were good and large in size. Lots of tvs to watch the game and they have outdoor seating too.

Sandra Y.

Yelp
Service hah no service for happy hour food yuk mushy shrimp not a great place at all this place definitely needs some leadership

Yelp
Quite frankly I'm very disappointed by my experience at FInnegans today! I frequently visit as my sister lives on the beach and is a regular, however, our experience today might change that. It started raining on us and we were seeking cover near the entrance, when the apparent "general manager" (pictured) asked us to move as we were blocking the entrance. This didn't actually bother us as we understood that we may have been blocking the entrance, however his partner yelled "maybe if you buy a drink" as if we hadn't been there since earlier having drinks. They were sitting outside after a few drinks, likely not monitoring who was actually having drinks and had no right to tell us anything. It was rude and uncalled for. It seemed they were trying to show their authority while not actually on the clock (unless drinking on the clock is appropriate). I previously had a good experience here, however, this has changed my opinion and I will likely not be going there going forward. There are plenty of other bars on Lincoln road with better service!

Rumit P.

Yelp
We ordered cocktails and sat at the bar while we waited for a group of others on a bar crawl. The service was prompt and courteous. The cocktail was overpriced and watered down. The bartender wasn't interested in making conversation, which is fine. The ambiance was more quiet and laidback, the interior was dark and tavern-like, and the decor was interesting. It felt like a local bar rather than a tourist trap.
google avatar

Craig S.

Yelp
Great happy hour. I had a couple of cold beers and the oysters were $1.50 each. The oysters were fresh and delicious. Not your low key kind of place but it has a fun vibe and the service was good. Enjoy!!!
google avatar

Jenni K.

Yelp
Employees were super nice. I got the blackened mahi mahi sandwich and it was so good! Loved the lights on the palm trees! Drinks were good, over priced but that's to be expected on Ocean Dr.

Brendan L.

Yelp
From out of town came to this place to watch rugby and college basketball. Staff was great and friendly. Big thank you to Server Henry and Host Gigi!!
google avatar

Lara D.

Yelp
I absolutely loved it! Me and my boyfriend stopped by there on St. Patty's and had a blast. Our server was awesome and super sweet. The ambiance is great and the music is good.

John O.

Yelp
I love this place, it's a local bar, it is a getaway from local, this place is special for us, we love to come every weekends with our special bar tender Maggie, she makes that place special.

Yelp
There are plenty of amazing places at Miami Beach and this one is definitely my favourite. Plenty of choices in their drinks menu. Buckets are must try. Speciality frozen drinks come with a complimentary souvenir glass. Cigars selections are great too. Food wise I recommend their portobello mushroom burger and their veggie burger both served with a side of fries. Overall great place to grab a bite, smoke a Cuban cigar, have a drink or two, and enjoy the view. Reasonable prices.

Carston C.

Yelp
A great bar to watch a game at. Dive bar prices (for Miami). Good food. Good vibes. A nice escape from the modern Miami. The manager was a good guy and put on the games for us while Miami was playing

Candace A.

Yelp
We went to Finnegan's Way in a rainy night to watch the game. I had the Shepard pie and some onion rings. Both were great! Staff was nice and courteous. We sat on the patio, protected from the rain, of course, and there were heaters out so we were entirely comfortable! The onion rings were some of the best I ever had. The Shepard pie was good too.

Jacqueline N.

Yelp
Nice area and good food. Very loud music but they were willing to turn it down. Wish the salad had more shrimp

Yelp
Stopped in with a group of friends on a hot afternoon while visiting South Beach. We opted sit inside in the AC because we had been out on the beach. We ordered a variety of drinks and the appetizer sampler. We liked our drinks and the food was good was well. We especially liked the calamari- it was light and tender. The service was friendly and speedy enough. I would go back if I was in the area.

Yelp
Happy hour should be called children's hour. Tiny little drinks and decided to try the nachos as a recommendation from the bartender.. let's just say I made better nachos at my dorm in college. No meat, cheese wiz just weak for $15. Oh and if your paying by credit card they charge another 4% on top of the 18% they wack you with. Keep walking don't bother stopping

Yelp
Came here yesterday with my sister because we've watched the games there before & the food was decent from what we remembered. Not to mention, the games started at 930 am so were already up and at em When our waiter James came over, he did everything under the sun to ensure me and my sister enjoyed our time here. I was hungover as heck when I walked in there and he got me a concoction & brought me back to life. James took time to thoroughly explain the menu & recommendations which definitely helped! He recommended the spicy boneless wings (they were really good & a great portion) & the blackened chicken breast sandwich. My sister thoroughly enjoyed her meal. The kitchen did forget the cheese on my cheese fries & on her sandwich. I ordered a ginger ale because I didn't feel good & the soda came from the bar flat! So then they bring me a Coca Cola that's flat also. ATP I'm annoyed but James is still doing everything to try and make it better. Would definitely come back again (Just beware, certain tvs are for certain sports and the hostess man doesn't play about it)

Sharone R.

Yelp
If I could give 10 stars I would. Vacationed here and stopped as it looked inviting. Staff is amazing and super friendly. Maggie, Flor, Kiera, and Lenny only to mention a few. All fabulous. They've been here for many years. This place is doing something right!!!!!!!

Mj G.

Yelp
Well, this was an awesome experience! Jordyn, our bartender was amazing! She was so fun, interested in us having a great time! Attentive,, no waiting for service. such a great, skilled, bartender. I don't post reviews usually but I had to let everyone know, if you're coming to South Beach, try this place, you won't be disappointed. Please Remember to ask for Jordyn, she's a superstar!!

Kim M.

Yelp
What a great find walking on Ocean. The charismatic gentleman greeting people to come in had us hooked. We decided to sit inside at the bar. Great beer selections. Food, I had the fish and chips, delicious. Husband had lobster ravioli, very good. The bartender was awesome and took time to tell us about the history. Irish owned. Great place to watch sports. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff.
google avatar

Jason N.

Yelp
Family of 3. Each got a burger. One of the more reasonably priced places for Miami Beach. Location is great for people watching and there is outdoors TVs. Can dress casual and go any time of day.
google avatar

Jim M.

Yelp
Haven't eaten here but a great spot to grab some drinks and smoke cigars at the outside bar. Friendly staff

Christopher C.

Yelp
Would've liked to give you a shot to see what your restaurant is all about. I stopped by for dinner but asked your hostess if they were hiring because I'm looking for a job as a server. She says they only hire WOMEN for servers. Seems a little racist to me and completely unacceptable.
google avatar

Nicole D.

Yelp
We stopped in here for a quick lunch on a week day and it was a fine experience. The food lacked quality and portion size, but the service was friendly, the drinks were cold, and they had a kids meal that satisfied our little one. Probably more for drinks than eats, but great location across from the beach.
google avatar

Tonia F.

Yelp
Great location on South Beach for watching games and getting some good food. Fish and chips were great, and the lobster ravioli was amazing.
google avatar

Lori T.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere and fun place to go with a great menu!! Our server was very nice and it's a great place if you're a sports fan to watch a game.

Daniel M.

Yelp
Totally average. Nothing really terrible about it but nothing really great. The food was alright it did come out pretty quickly. It's a little overpriced though. Some of the servers seemed great but the girl serving us had a lot of attitude. We are always polite but she was not necessarily rude but certainly not nice. The ambiance was pretty good with lots of light, though there were a few drunks who ruined it a bit but that comes with the territory.

Danielle O.

Yelp
Got there accidentally, but turned out to be a great place, we watched football, and drank a beer and had some tequila shots. left my debit card though...
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
Yea the service and food was mediocre and the waitress was rude. Kind of surprised how this place is on ocean drive surviving.
google avatar

Darryl B.

Yelp
A great place to have drinks with friends. The atmosphere is upbeat with excellent service and staff. Kudos to Laura the bartender, who was friendly and poured great drinks. The Buchetta was by far one of the best I've had
google avatar

Martin V.

Yelp
GiGi the host is extremely hospitable and Super welcoming. He assisted us with parking and directions. Jordyn the bartender such a ray sunshine on South Beach. A Sunflower with a beautiful soul and great penmanship. Super efficient back of the house and front She handles it like a Champ.
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
Basic bar food. Nothing extraordinary. Waiter was helpful. Sat us by a fan to defend against a very hot day. Reasonably priced.
google avatar

Sarena M.

Yelp
My husband and I absolutely love this place. Prices are fair and the food has been amazing. We have ordered several items and not 1 has disappointed!

Liza G.

Yelp
Best bar on ocean drive - Leo the owner is always welcoming and mutiple TVs guarantee you can watch your favorite sports team while enjoying the outdoor dining and bar steps from miami beach. Always a good time and the location can't be beat!
google avatar

J A.

Yelp
Excellent service, best REUBEN ever!! Good place to watch Formula 1 - come here and enjoy it!!
google avatar

JemuelnleAnne M.

Yelp
My lobster was a plateful! What a great meal during these trying times. My friend and I enjoyed our dinner and service was average. It a fan of Miami's forced service gratuity because servers never feel obligated to go above and beyond. Overall it was on par!
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
My husband and I wanted to people watch for Halloween shanigans at Ocean drive, Miami, and to avoid the trick or treaters at home (BAH HUMBUG LOL!) So we came here for their happy our - which runs from 4 - 7 pm - half price for beers and wines... Not bad offerings to sit a while and beach watch on ocean drive and get the sea air. We quite pleasantly enjoyed four hours just doing that. Our bill including one main and side order with 6 drinks to include taves and the added 18 per cent service fee was 74 dollars! Not bad at all for Miami Beach. We would definielt come again for their happy hour. Whilst there - we ordered their fish n chips and asked if we could swap the chips for the fried onion stripes and add a side salad - no problem at all! Food is not fab but not bad either, just mediocre, but pleasant enough.. Service was friendly and pleasant, especially as they were all dressed up for Halloween as was half the people mingling around us and walking past. It made for a fun and amusing evening for my husband and I!
google avatar

Dona L.

Yelp
First time coming here and will definitely be coming here again. The customer service was immaculate. Our food tasted wonderful!

Cmc C.

Yelp
I'd say enjoy Finnegan's Way if you don't mind paying $13.00 for a kid's grilled cheese, a 'resort fee' of 2% on top of 7% normal sales tax, a 'voluntary 18% tip', I would have tipped more, and a 4% surcharge to use a credit card!
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
Great for pool and pub drinks Local spot and open late. Super chill with a Miami spice.
