Delicious food and great service. We had a really enjoyable dinner here recently - one of the highlights visiting Kinsale. The homemade bread to start was delicious. Oysters were fresh and amazing! The rack of lamb was excellent. Others had the pie and report it was excellent - and the onion rings are some of the best I have had - light tempura batter! Desserts also great. Highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality at this restaurant was truly outstanding — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and heartfelt, making us feel right at home throughout our entire visit. The ribs were simply phenomenal: the meat was so tender it practically fell off the bone without any effort. Every bite was full of flavor and cooked to absolute perfection. The steak, accompanied by a selection of sauces, was beyond perfect — juicy, full of rich taste, and perfectly seasoned. And let’s not forget the fries — crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside — a rare find these days! It’s clear that this is one of the very few places that truly understands how to make proper fries. Even our children, who usually don’t finish their meals, happily cleaned their plates here — which says more than words ever could! The atmosphere was equally impressive: cozy, welcoming, and perfectly suited for a relaxed, enjoyable evening. Without a doubt, this was an exceptional dining experience that I can wholeheartedly recommend.

Absolutely superb. Every review reiterates our view. Steak sublime, wine menu stellar for a change! What a choice, french reds curated well... Staff and ambience all spot on. A delightful experience all together!

Every dish is bursting with flavour, perfectly seasoned and exceptionally cooked. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The hostess and waiters are all very welcoming and so friendly.

What a wonderful gem of a restaurant. All staff were so welcoming and friendly. Food was amazing. Would highly recommend the ribeye steak. I’m normally a Fillet fan but the ribeye was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth.

Had a fantastic meal here on Thursday 27th February. We had just arrived to Kinsale after a long drive and we walked in on spec, without a booking (not recommended) even though it was very busy the gentleman waiter accommodated us. We didn’t catch his name but was wearing glasses and had very cool tattoos (if you are reading this, thank you again) The meal itself was beautiful and served to perfection. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Really nice atmosphere and vibe in the restaurant too. A lovely place to sit and have a great meal. This was our first meal on our first night in Kinsale and it really set the tone for a great holiday. Thank you.

Absolutely fabulous food, cannot wait to visit again. The freshness and taste was unbelievable. Location, ambience and staff are great. One of the best restaurants I've eaten in.

We had a fabulous meal that we won't soon forget. There were 8 of us and the service was perfect. Our steaks were so tasty and the sides were delicious.
