FINO at Seppeltsfield

The service over the busy Easter weekend was Exceptional. Staff were friendly and the kitchen so efficient. We had 4 courses + matched wines with the duck spring rolls added. Even from the bread starter with home made pickled vegetables the food was 10/10. Fantastic experience. We went to two major wineries for set menu lunches and Fino was hands down the superior and would recommend.

One of our most enjoyable lunches in SA. As part of the Fino Experience, the lunch came after a tour of Seppeltsfield’s historic Centennial Cellar and tasting their 1925 Tawny port straight from the barrel! Seated outdoor under the perfect weather in a very relaxed setting. Well paced shared menu with six courses and wine pairing. The wines were a wise mix of both Seppeltsfield wines and other names in the region (except the Prosecco was from Victoria). Our attendant articulated well the wines and the principle behind the pairing. Food was top-notch and we had to encore more oysters. I would highly recommend you allocate time after the meal to visit other merchants in the village.

Dining at FINO was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a lovely vibe that made the evening truly enjoyable. The food was absolutely top-notch – every dish was a masterpiece! Each plate was delicately and beautifully crafted, with perfect plating, exquisite flavours, and just the right portion sizes. The staff were attentive and incredibly professional, with the manager and team taking the time to describe each dish as it was served. Their attention to detail was impeccable – they refilled our glasses promptly and replaced our water bottle as soon as it was empty. Overall, FINO exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful visit to this establishment. Beautiful gardens and friendly helpful staff. Enjoyed the wine tasting, gin tasting, beauty products, art and reading about Seppeltsfield’s history.

My partner and I had lunch here for his birthday and we opted for the 4 course menu paired with the wines and it was a great choice. The food was unbelievable and the service was 10/10. I highly recommend a visit to Fino if you are in the Barossa as you won’t be disappointed.

awesome setting. food is great. the calamari done to perfection. the duck is smaller portion but awesome. wine list is a bit speedy but very good regional representation.

We indulged in the Fino six-course sharing feast, and what an incredible afternoon it was! The food was absolutely sensational, each course a masterpiece. The atmosphere added to the experience, creating a perfect blend of warmth and sophistication. Everything about this place felt special, from the attentive service to the beautiful setting.
