Tableside Preparations, Ranked From Most Impressive To Least Necessary - Seattle - The Infatuation

"At this seafood spot in Downtown Issaquah, there’s not much to their tableside crab bisque presentation. It’s a bit anticlimactic—you receive a bowl containing a few bits of lump Dungeness meat, and then a server simply pours hot soup on top. The bright side is that the bisque is very tasty, and the whole song-and-dance brings the staff joy. So, cheer them on and let them have this." - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo, gabe guarente

Just make sure to end things with the pineapple crème brûlée. RESERVE A TABLE Food Rundown Hearts Of Romaine We'd come to Fins solely for the romaine salad, which is kind of like a caesar with a bit of Canlis-style influence—there's a creamy-peppery dressing, croutons, a mountain of grated cheese, bacon, mint, and oregano. It's a wonderful beginning to a meal here. photo credit: Aimee Rizzo Crab Bisque There’s not much to their tableside crab bisque presentation. Rice and wilted spinach are also nothing special. photo credit: Aimee Rizzo Miso Black Cod As the crown jewel of Fins, this black cod has an excellent sear and appropriate levels of salt. We also like the kimchi-studded rice underneath. PlayMute video credit: Aimee Rizzo Pineapple Crème Brûlée Don't leave without this happy marriage of caramelized sugar and macerated pineapple. Half of the fun is scraping the bottom to reveal custardy fruit bits. photo credit: Aimee Rizzo" - Aimee Rizzo

Google
Had an amazing dinner here. Food was really good but on top of everything the service was amazing. Tori went above and beyond making us feel very well taken care of. Super friendly, super quick. Our dinner was so lovely!!

Google
This was the best meal I’ve had in a long time!! Great service and the food (giant shrimp and grits with andouille sausage) was delicious! I mean DELICIOUS!! I’d highly recommend this. If you’re in town, don’t miss it.

Google
Nice quaint restaurant located next to the theater. They have outdoor seating as well. The food is mediocre. The octopus was tough. The pork chop came out severely undercooked. We sent it back and it came back overcooked. Our server was apologetic. Won't be going back.

Google
Perfection! Incredibly fresh and tasty local cuisine, with excellent seafood highlighting the menu. Generous and delicious portions. Wine paired excellently with the entrees. Will be back, many times! What a neighborhood gem!!

This downtown Issaquah restaurant features a nice variety of seafood and other dining options. We came here for the first time to celebrate a birthday, and their site also recommends stopping by before a show at the nearby Village Theatre which we probably will try sometime. When we arrived for our reservation, we were immediately seated. Even though it was a random Tuesday night, the small restaurant was full and lively inside. I’m not sure how busy it gets in the summer, but given the ample seating all around outside, I can see it being pretty popular. Just make reservations to be safe. I loved the prawn and sausage pasta I chose, and the portions of the appetizers (for 4), main dishes, and dessert seemed appropriate. My only complaint is that the halibut cheek appetizer only had 3 pieces to 4 sushi rolls, which I thought odd. Shouldn’t they match? We’ll definitely come here again, hopefully this coming summer!

Google
If I could give 10 stars I would, excellent service and the food was amazing. Definitely try the grilled octopus and all our entrées were delicious (miso Cod, Halibut, and King Salmon). Good wine and whiskey options. From out of state and glad we visited, look forward to return.

This has been a staple in Issaquah for many years. It is a true gem and one that always delivers a delicious meal with excellent service. They excel in seafood and fish. Presentation is well done. The ambiance and decor is fun. They are tied to the live theatre next door which can make it quite busy on nights there is a show. Make sure to make a reservation. This week we had Brittany as our server and she was exceptional and a blast. Everything was fantastic. They have large outdoor patio as well as an elegant indoor dining room. By far one of the best restaurants in Issaquah. The seafood paella was incredible!!!

Google
Sadly, Sages is not what it once was. 4 of us ate there last night. We used to go regularly, then last year only once due to the quality. We don't need to try again. The seafood bisque is as delicious as always but was barely warm. The seafood paella had very good seafood on top, but the rice below was dried out and way over done. The steak was mediocre, requested medium and this was done correctly but with no seasonings or sauce, just cheese sprinkled on top, it wasn't worth ordering (in past review pictures they show a veg and a sauce, this time there was nothing on the plate but the piece of meat). The server never came to check on our food or even refill our water glasses. When spending over $200 for two, we expect better.

Yelp
As I age,I appreciate small moments of happiness. My daughter and I have been here several times, before tickets at the Village Theater. We love sitting outside and feeling the ambiance of the restaurant and Front Street. The memories of sunlight, warm weather in Issaquah and superb seafood all created a definite impression of happiness. We started out with seafood bisque and steamed clams and mussels on one occasion. Love seafood bisque, especially those with a variety of seafood. The crab flavor added a sweet note to the bisque. This bisque was creamy, rich and had a nice array of seafood. One of the better seafood bisques I have tried. Another appetizer we love to order, is steamed clams and mussels. The clams and mussels came in a garlic herb butter sauce, with crostini. The broth is what makes this dish. The contrast between briny seafood, garlic and white wine sauce is so good. The crostini is necessary to get every last bit of broth. For additional appetizers, I am a sucker for garlic prawns. So, we have ordered gambas al ajillo several times as an appetizer. Slightly spicy but the spices compliment the seafood. Love eating these and sucking the juicy sauce off the prawns. Slightly full, but I love salmon. We both wanted to continue with seafood. Had to both order the king salmon, with crabmeat and saffron. Lovely balance of flavors, a Spanish feel with the addition of the saffron. The sauce was so good, we ordered aside of fry bread to enjoy mopping up the last bits of the sauce. Have also ordered the Alaska halibut when it is on the menu. The sweetness of the beets and butternut squash really accentuates the rather bland halibut. So happy now. Sunlight, great food, Issaquah front street ambience. Helpful service. Could spend hours here, but there is a play to go to.

Yelp
I am super picky when it comes to restaurants because I love to cook.. I have taken my daughter here a few times and has always been really good.. The last time was spectacular though.. everything we had was so tasty! The romaine salad, crab bisque, truffle fries and the bouillabaisse were our choices.. Just love when a restaurant nails it.. will definitely be back soon, the service was excellent as well.. a must try.

Yelp
First time here and I was absolutely BLOW AWAY! Service is 10 out of 10! The food was 100 out of 10! It was amazing! Every single bite! The ambiance is perfect! Very local, very trendy and VERY GREAT! Will be back!

Yelp
One of the best seafood meals I've ever had! Low-key, casual ambiance, but exceptionally sophisticated preparation, with attentive but not intrusive service. The Dungeness crab bisque was the 2nd best bisque I've had in 50 years of dining in the States and overseas. The paella was as good as I've ever had, and the bourbon caramel bread pudding was superb. Excellent wine courses - all in all, a totally unexpected dining pleasure. Don Booty Naperville Illinois

Yelp
One of our absolute favorite local restaurants has to be Fins! The food is consistently exceptional, and as a seafood lover, I can confidently say they have some of the best in the area. The shrimp pasta is a staple that never disappoints, but I also can't get enough of their black cod--it's simply divine! What truly makes our experiences memorable is the incredible waitstaff. They treat us like family every time we walk through the door. It's heartwarming to see how they interact with our two young kids, making them feel so welcomed. The owner goes above and beyond by bringing out a special carved apple shaped like a duck for the kids, which always brings smiles to their faces! Plus, they provide coloring books and fresh crayons, which keeps our little ones entertained while we enjoy our meal. We love dining out at finer restaurants, and the ones that embrace families with young children hold a special place in our hearts. [does just that, and we can't recommend it enough. If you're looking for a place that offers fantastic food and a welcoming atmosphere for families, look no further!

Yelp
This place has been on my to try list for years since they have a great gluten-free menu. We had dinner here last month, and even though our reservations we'd made online had not registered properly with their software, they still found room for us. I loved the giant squid picture over the bar and the casual dining atmosphere. The server situation was a little confusing, I don't think the same person came to our table twice, but they seemed to work together well, and we got everything we needed taken care of. The gf crab bisque was delicious and my favorite thing I had. The fish entree that followed was prepared well and flavorful. The husband enjoyed his crab cakes and the truffle fries we shared. Overall food was good and it had an easygoing atmosphere. I'd definitely like to get some of that bisque as takeout in the future.

Yelp
Surprised (or not). The food was OK. what bothers me is the fact that I ordered pasta with veggies and was charged for shrimp and sausage pasta - $35. I frequently eat out and have never has this happen before. A small plate with veggies and some pasta is not shrimp and sausage. Really disappointed.

Yelp
Back again!! I can't think of anything to improve our experience here this week. Seafood all around was delicious, as was the outdoor dining experience. Our waitress (Tory sp??) was wonderful in all regards. This should be a monthly experience!!

Yelp
This review is for Sara's excellent. The food was good but Sara was better. Sara really makes you feel at home. While we were there, we observed a 7-8 year old accidentally knock over a side of ketchup spilling it on Sara and on the floor. Her reaction was perfect--didn't show frustration or anger, just rolled with it and cleaned up, even if her show may be ruined (though she says it's washable so it's probably fine). Funny story, we had been here before about 5-6 years ago but I had totally forgotten. Walked up for dinner and realized it as we were entering that we had been at Fin's for lunch (which they haven't served since the pandemic). Food was good; the scallops were perfect. The seafood stew was okay--a lot of work to shell everything but I guess I wished it on myself. The octopus appetizer and the chocolate cake were both great. The kimchee rice with the scallops were a bit salty though. If we lived closer, we would probably come back from time to time. The restaurant is a fun place for a family dinner or date night.

Yelp
This is the best dining destination in Issaquah and a place I'm always recommending if people want fresh seafood. It's along front street so it has a good location and there is both indoor seating as well as a nice patio outside. If the weather is nice the outdoor seating is preferred as it can get loud on the inside and it is very pleasant on the outside. Really anything you get is great. The grilled Spanish octopus and dungeness crab cakes are good starters and I have tried the miso black cod with kimchi rice and it is also really flavorful and balanced. On this occasion I got the halibut cheeks which were a special and they were mouth watering good. They were cooked to perfection and all of its components from the sauce to the fruit salsa to the fresh vegetables paired so nicely together. If you find yourself on the Eastside seeking a nice seafood dinner, this would be my recommendation.

Yelp
Consistently good food and great cocktails. Can get really busy when there's a show on next door so you definitely need a reservation.

Yelp
Their seafood is always fresh and flavorful. I had the cod last night and tried my husband's paella. They have a good selection for their kid's menu. My son enjoyed the salmon. Their cocktail menu is always fun and the drinks are good! I love the ferry, mural inside the restaurant. It has an upscale feel inside. They also have a large outdoor patio. Service was very attentive and kind. I recommend getting a reservation. There were several times we tried to go without one in the last year and were turned away.

Yelp
Amazing quality food - their great food and service is always consistent. They know how to cook seafood right and is prepared and seasoned perfectly. They always have specials on the menu - which I really appreciate the variety and something new at each visit!

Yelp
Really fabulous food for special occasions. Meals are quite expensive though. I love their scallops in particular. Service was excellent and ambiance on the patio was lovely with the live jazz music across the street on Thursday evenings through September 5.

Yelp
Even with new(er) owners, Fins is still delivering great service and food. We love eating here before a play in the winter since it's a short walk to the theater (as short a you can get!)

Yelp
Shoot a dart on the menu - you can't lose! EVERYTHING IS melt in your mouth INCREDIBLE!! Omg! Best restaurant on the Eastside!!!!! Phenomenal- just beyond beautiful food! Food is art here! We come for the food! We go for the flavor-pop in our mouths - it's like a ticket to gastronomical heaven! We had a very eccentric waitress with her own quirky vibe - but the food is just BEYOND!! Omg make a reservation- b/c it's a tiny jewel box restaurant with loads of character! Beyond awesome!

Yelp
Discovered this lovely eatery while in the area in vacation. We didn't have reservations but early enough in the evening we were able to secure a table. Our server, Robert, was wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I ordered the salmon and my partner ordered the miso cod. Both were absolutely delicious. What a little gem in the PNW. Thank you!!!

Yelp
Had a very good experience at Fins Bistro with my family. Food was very good with a varied menu and distinct flavors in each dish. For appetizers, we had clams and mussels, smoked salmon flatbread and a spinach and strawberry salad. For entrees, we had Alaskan halibut, Pacific sea bass, miso black cod and grilled scallops. Every dish was prepared well, portions were sufficient with sides accompanying the protein and everyone enjoyed them! There was nothing left of anything we ordered. The smoked salmon flatbread stood out as something you don't usually find on menus and had a really nice set of flavors from the salmon and the cheese. It was nice that the cheese wasn't melted all over the smoked salmon, but stood out separately from the salmon. Scallops were cooked perfectly as were the three fish entrees. We had a molten chocolate cake with ice cream and salted caramel to finish. In addition, Fins' pricing is quite fair for fresh seafood entrees. Not much to say about service. Solid service throughout including attention to my son's food allergies. The restaurant is casual but a very nice casual when sitting inside. They have a very large patio for al fresco dining that is appealing but a bit more casual with the metal tabletops and outdoor furniture. Solid recommend. I was very tempted by their king salmon entree - I'll have to try it next time. We expect to be back!

Yelp
Excellent , food was fantastic, service was very fast and the waiter was personable. The ambience was great, didn't have to yell to hear each other

Yelp
Food and drinks were amazing. Sat at the bar. 10/10 all around. We got the NY striploin, cooked to perfection - 10/10. Miso cod, perfection - 10/10. Garlic prawns, heavy on the garlic but delicious - 9/10. Bartender, Andrej was awesome. Friendly, awesome drinks, great recs - 10/10. Flourless molten chocolate cake - 10/10. 10/10, will be back!

Yelp
As a long time patron of Finn's, I arrived with 4 friends, reservations were made on line 2 weeks prior which Finn requires if you want to eat there and get a table for 5. When arriving we were told we did not have a reservation by a man. He found our reservation - no table was set for us. So we continued to wait while another receptionist came and seating everyone else while we waiting for our table to be set up. After waiting 15 min. I asked about seating us and she said, well you are a group of 5 and without reservations we do not have room for you! I again said we did have reservations and gave her my name again. We left Finn's and ate elsewhere that evening. As a 30 yr subscriber to the Village Theater, Finn's has always been our restaurant of choice. I was extremely disappointed in their customer service and will think twice about recommended it to others.

Yelp
You have to love walking into a restaurant and smelling pure perfection. Let's start with the bar, a cozy ambiance showcasing the chef and his crew working diligently to bring you a perfectly prepared dish of your choosing. The food provided by the chef continues to have the same flavor ever week. Weekly specials are constantly being presented to showcase the talent in the kitchen. The bartenders alternate but the drinks always come out stiff, delicious and of generous proportions to match the amount of food on your plate. One very talented bartender will make you any drink you can come up with, just say a random name and he will make it to perfection. The wait staff is always on time and continue to check on your enjoyment, true veterans of their craft. In closing, you can't find a better place for seafood than Fins. The talent and skill sent of the Chef and his crew are beyond comparable.

Yelp
We've eaten here multiple times and we're always very pleased. Last night we decided to grab an early dinner. My husband ordered the Paella, which he was quite happy with. After some deliberation, so many good choices, I ordered the seared Ahi Tuna abs we split an order of the crispy Brussel sprouts with bacon jam. I have to gloat - I choose well. The Ahi was delicious, the veggies complimented the tuna so well. The Brussel sprouts were crisp without being over cooked. After dinner I ordered a flatliner, a coffee type cocktail. YUM Another terrific meal at Fins Bistro. Looking forward to my next.

Andrew K.

Yelp
Grilled octopus starter had more "stuff" than octopus. Consider larger pieces of octopus and less tomatoes olives. The taste was great but had to dig through to find the octopus. Service was good.

Yelp
This place was one of our favorites before Covid & is great choice now as well. They have two nice tents outside with toasty heaters & lots of space inside. They always have excellent service & delicious food too. We always love their crab cakes- lots of crab & served with apple slaw. The burrata is always amazing too- served with crispy bread & arugula-yum! This time we ordered lamb meatballs with marinara & goat cheese- so delicious! We got two Caesar salads one with salmon & one with chicken- both very generous portions & perfectly cooked. Everything came out promptly & piping hot. Our server was Jamie who is always friendly & attentive as well as Sara who we have loved over many years at Fins! This restaurant is always consistent with great food, atmosphere & service. We highly recommend you try it!

Yelp
Everything is always great at Fins Bistro. Best seafood on the Eastside by far and a great staff to ensure a great experience!

Yelp
This is a great place for lunch or dinner. The staff always friendly and welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu offerings and accommodates special requests with a smile. We usually order the fish and chips, which are prepared well and served with a delicious Apple Coleslaw. We recently shared the garlic shrimp appetizer and it was delicious!

Yelp
Yesterday we had a very nice date night at Fins Bistro on Front Street, starting with a cozy street-side table on the patio. We both ordered from the day's specials - fresh pasta with kobe beef meatballs, and an eclectic seared ahi tuna entree served with bacon-onion jam, basil pistou, roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Starters and sides were all good, as were the warm cinnamon churros for dessert - salted caramel, berries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We enjoyed a nice Oregon Pinot Noir after learning about the Tuesday wine specials. Service was professional, kind and well-paced for a leisurely dinner. Based on our very positive experience both times we've dined at Fins, we'll certainly look forward to our next visit.

Yelp
Fins Bistro Delicious food and friendly staff. I had heard good things about this place and it did not disappoint. We started with a couple drinks, an old fashioned and an alternate version of a Moscow mule, both of which tasted great. I had the King Salmon, which came with Dungeness crab meat, roasted potatoes, broccolini and a delicious sauce. The salmon was cooked perfectly and everything paired well together. My GF had the Miso Black Cod with kimchi rice, beet purée and seasonal vegetables. Her dish was cooked well and was delicious too. I had never had kimchi rice before so that was nice to try and I liked it so much I want to try to make some sometime. We inquired about the menu changing and our waitress said it changes seasonally. We mentioned that we had seen Halibut cheeks on the menu and that I had some in my freezer from a fishing trip up to in Alaska and I was wondering the best way to cook them. She gave us some suggestions and then to our surprise she went and got the chef, who happened to be her husband, and he gave us a full explanation of how to prepare and cook them. I was very thankful and so impressed that they were both so friendly and generous with their time to give us recipes and cooking techniques. We enjoyed our dinner so much we decided to try dessert. We couldn't decide if we wanted the chocolate ganache torte or the Pineapple creme brûlée, so we got both since the waitress said the pineapple creme brûlée was their specialty. I figured I would like the chocolate more because I usually enjoy chocolate more than fruit but the creme brûlée was so good I actually enjoyed it the most. This is now on my top places to eat and quite possibly at the very top because of the great food paired well with the amazing hospitality of all the employees. I highly recommend this place for a nice dinner out and I'll definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Fin's Bistro is a spectacular and fantastic restaurant on the main drag in Issaquah, WA. My experience has been nothing short of amazing. Not to be gushy, but the owners are the best and have attention to detail, and the customer experience is five stars. The food quality and the portions' size are such a value it's hard to beat. You can't. If you want a nice date night, this place is cozy, warm, and fun to hang out in. The space size is perfect, not too small, not too big, and loud. It is an eclectic menu and design. Another cool thing is the specials; they fall in line with the seasons and primarily local ingredients and combinations that are great! I love the plating, and of course, wine choices and cocktails are off the chain. Lastly, the owners are all in. Super lovely, seem to have an idea what you like when you enter the building, and are gracious throughout the whole dining experience. Yea, I would plan to go back again and again. I wish I could keep it a secret, but my Son's name is Finn, with two nn's, but it's still cool! Bonjour!

Yelp
Came here for a Friday-night dinner to celebrate my last day of college, and it was a great experience overall! We shared a burrata salad and parmesan fries for the table and they were absolutely delicious!! Being a primarily seafood restaurant, my mom was pleasantly surprised they were able to transform one of the pasta dishes to 100% vegetarian. If you do eat fish, their miso black cod was super soft and flavorful and I would totally recommend it. Ended the night with a small slice of cheesecake and it was perfect. Not overly sweet, and just the right level of creaminess. Overall a lovely neighborhood gem for a small celebration or even just a tasty meal.

Yelp
Had a great lunch here with friends. The space is clean, open, and inviting. The food is excellent, if expensive. All the dishes we had were well executed and flavorful. All very tasty. The only negative at all was the creme brûlée, which was a little overdone (grainy instead of smooth). But the appetizers, entrees, and the other dessert were all excellent. It's pricey. Yeah, I'd expect that on Front Street and next to the Village Theatre. So, you can't really come here and then complain about prices. It's going to cost. The food is good. You can decide if it's worth it or not. I would return.

Yelp
We ventured outside our normal haunts meeting friends from North Bend, and Issaquah was in the middle. I dug the vibe at Fins - very cool ambiance with friendly staff. The place is relatively small, but not packed in like sardines. The cocktail list wasn't huge, but the drinks we had were very solid... bottle of Januik Merlot then hit the spot with dinner. I enjoyed the special - halibut wrapped salmon, something I've never seen before! Overall it was really good, generating the 4 star review... It didn't wow me, but was very tasty. My wife had one of the steak entrees, and gave high marks. All in all a positive experience - not cheap (nothing is anymore), but we'd come back.

Yelp
Went here for dinner last night. What a little gold mine. The food was prepared and cooked flawlessly. It's been a while since I had my doors blown off, but this little place did it. Dish after dish came out tasting absolutely amazing. The wait staff were so kind and helpful, quick service was appreciated and we were asked several times how we were enjoying the food.... They really care and it shows. I would feel honored to eat here again. From our family to yours, thank you!

Yelp
Our second visit to Issaquah and I can't believe I missed the entire downtown area. We corrected that during this trip as I really wanted great seafood for our first dinner in the area. A quick stroll (or scroll) through Yelp brought Fins Bistro front and center. The restaurant is located on Front Street close to the start of a line of great businesses. I actually drove past it and had to circle the block which was fine since their private parking lot can only be entered from one street over. Food: I was really looking for a combo type of plate and the Seafood Fettuccine looked like it would do the job. Piled high great seafood cooked perfectly in a tomato sauce and tossed with the fettuccine noodles it was hearty, tasty, and satisfying. Wife ordered the Louie Salad which was held a generous shrimp and crab. Finished off this excellent meal with a dessert special which was an apple crumble with fresh whipped topping. They also feature a great bar and wine list to complement your meal. Service: Our server Nabeel took great care of us. Offered great wine pairing suggestions and answered all of our menu questions. Service was wonderful, food came out quickly, every dish prepared perfectly. Atmosphere: Very relaxing spot with indoor and outdoor seating. We choose to sit in door as it was still a bit warm/sunny outside but I imagine it must be wonderful at the right time of day. Not a huge restaurant but a really great use of the space. Lot's windows really make it feel very open and bright, easy to relax, enjoy a good glass of wine and partake in their delicious offerings. Value: Very good value in my opinion. Generous portions of excellent quality ingredients and reasonable wine prices makes for a very satisfying experience especially factoring the final bill. Overall: Great spot, amazing food, wonderful staff! I'd definitely recommend Fins Bistro and I would return if I'm ever in the area again.

Yelp
We decided to come here for 11 year wedding anniversary. We originally had reservations for 5:00 but we're running late and called to see if we could switch to 6:30 and they accommodated us no problem. When we arrived the owner greeted us and brought us to our table which was on the outside patio right by the sidewalk. It was a great place to enjoy our meals and people watch. Our server was new to the restaurant and was such a pleasure to talk with. We started off with two old fashions to wet our whistle. They were one of the best we've had. We then ordered crab bisque and crab cakes, both were to die for! After that settled she brought us some bread to soak up the last drops of the bisque. We then ordered the Ivory king salmon and Seared ahi tuna plates. Once again they were amazing with great flavor and cooked perfectly. We finished with another Old fashion and dessert. My wife had the churros and I had the Pineapple crème brûlée. Yet again they didn't disappoint! We highly recommend Fins Bistro and will be back again and again!

Yelp
Walked in on a whim with my sister and must we say, this place is amazing!!! Our server must be running that place cause she knew her menu and gave great recommendations. She is a total boss babe. We ordered a fun cocktail -- pineapple coconut margarita. It was great, but took a minute to get used to the flavor. The only two items we got which fed us well were two appetizers -- lamb meatballs and crab stuffed prawns. They came in HOT fresh from the oven. The flavors are delightful and the baguette is so crunchy and yummy. We were amazed by the sauce the meatballs were in. Very very delicious! The server brought us more bread and we wiped down those bowls. Too full to order anything else. We definitely plan to come back to try their entrees and DESSERT. The pineapple creme brûlée is very popular. This place is great with their service and chef deserve all 5 stars.

Yelp
Server Cole ~ professional poise with southern hospitality. Awesome. Peaceful patio in downtown Issaquah. Just enough foot traffic as background. Caesar Salad $8 ~ fresh & crisp Linguine Fruti Di Mare $24 Steamed Clams, garlic broth $15 ~ a bit small Service alone made this 5+ and pasta perfect.

Yelp
We're so grateful that we found this little spot on the day of my daughter's 24th birthday. The crab cakes were great and our entrees were perfectly cooked. She had the Halibut and I had the Miso Cod. Both were cooked to PERFECTION! We ended the meal with the pineapple crème brûlée, which was amazing! (Most restaurants don't offer "To-Go" crème brûlée) This restaurant took the extra step of carving a pineapple into a serving platter for the crème brûlée) Our server was very attentive and gracious. We look forward to dining again with them in the future.

Yelp
I went to dinner at Fins Bistro with my boyfriend. We had a great experience. Delicious food and great service. The owners/chef were very friendly, greeted us, and gave us cooking tips. You can tell they take pride in their restaurant and care about their customers. We will definitely be back. As for the food...The black cod was cooked perfectly. I admit I was skeptical about the pairing with beet puree, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was delicate and a nice balance to the fish and kimchi fried rice. I was also able to try a bite of the King Salmon which was also cooked perfectly. Even though we were full, we went for dessert, the chocolate torte and the pineapple creme brule. I always gravitate towards chocolate desserts. The tort was delicious, but keep in mind it is quite rich. If you are full, it may be too much to handle. Lastly, the brule. Shockingly, I favored this dessert over the tort (likely because I was so full). It was delicate and smooth inside accompanied by pineapple pieces on top so it didnt over power the brule. I highly recommend dinner at Fins!

Yelp
I ordered crab bisque and baked halibut. Crab bisque was too creamy and thick so I couldn't eat. Fortunately baked halibut was good.

Yelp
I have been coming to Fins for a long time. Decades... but only for the convenience of dinner before a Village Theatre production. Tonight we came just for dinner; productions don't presume until 2022. It was the best dinner we have ever had! The octopus appetizer was tender and delicious. My scallops were wonderful! Fins under new ownership since right before the pandemic, are doing everything right! Great wine list and if you are lucky to have Sarah as your waitress (though they are all great) you are in for a treat! Fins is now an Eastside destination restaurant! Go and enjoy!

Yelp
The food, drinks, atmosphere, location and service staff was exceptional!! Located next to the town theater and they offer two areas for outdoor dining. We will be back!

Yelp
Good food. Bad service (slow, unfriendly/unhelpful). Inflated prices. Ambiance was decent. I probably won't be coming back to fins bistro.

Yelp
We had reservations on Saturday, 3 Feb. to celebrate our friends birthday. The service was the worst we have ever had in the 45 years we have lived in the Seattle area. The waitress acted like we were a nuisance for her time, had a rude attitude and barely served the food and rushed off. She did not check for refills and we had to call her over if we needed anything else. While we were celebrating our friends birthday gifts, she told us we had to leave because they needed the table. The entire time we were there, we were respectful, quiet and good guests. We have been attending the theater for years and will NEVER eat at Finns again. We will also share our displeasure with all we know. You should be ashamed of your server!!!! John C. Laible, retired Navy Captain with 30 years of service.

Yelp
My family and I have been going to Fin's for many years and can not speak highly enough about the restaurant. Excellent attentive service and fantastic food. Lovely wine list as well. Last time my Mom and I were there we were in a rush to see a show and they were able to get us in and out quickly still providing a relaxing and fun atmosphere. We also appreciate how warm and friendly they are especially during the pandemic. Thank you Fin's!
