I have been frequenting for several years and the staff has been always outstanding and most professional! I really respect the team as Mikayla has been most friendly and informational with customer service with details to the menu and drinks. Wes and Nadia are also excellent in their detail to care for their patrons. I also have had the pleasure to meet additional team members like Cole and he has gone above and beyond to speak about pool up-keep maintenance as I enjoy staying with Marriott and using the pool. The food is delicious and i love the cheese board and sliders! The food is great and love getting the salmon and steak options for a dinner with peers before a movie theater connected to the hotel.

Starting off strong, nocomplaints atmosphere was chaotic, but in a good way. My family and I came to visit for a family event so we weren’t planning on trying out the restaurant, but we are so happy we did! The food came out hot and quick surprisingly with how busy it was! We tried the voodoo pasta, cheese steak hoggie , and the chicken n rice bowl. Our waitress Nadia was the absolute best server we had in a while she never missed a beat and I believe she was running the bar and the restaurant all by herself and still maintained a smile on her face the whole time and never lost focus she really is a star of the show, we will never forget her lovely personality.

I picked this place based on other positive reviews and so I was shocked by how bad it was. The service was the worst. It took us over an hour and half to get our unimpressive food (and we ordered simple: sandwich and Caesar salad). My sandwich was very dry and unappetizing; I only ate it because I was so hungry by the time it finally came out. I considered getting up and walking out twice. I wish I would have!

The food was delicious, I had the Voodoo Pasta and it was great. It was a large portion and had a lot of meats and veggies. Our waitress Mikayla was great. She was very attentive and kind. We will be going back.

Sunshine is an incredible bartender. Great recommendations, great service; cannot recommend her enough!! And - WOW - the food… these chefs are amazing!

Google
Good food and great service. Mikayla did a wonderful job welcoming us to bringing out our food. She was great with our kids too! 5 star service and the fish & chips were very good.

We had a party of 7 including small children and our server Mikayla was nothing short of amazing! Wes came to lend her a hand and they both made the experience great. The food and desserts were very tasty, we had zero complaints. To top it off Chef Thomas came Out to greet us and get our feed back. He gave us some suggestions for our next meal! We will definitely be eating here again!

Fins is amazing the food is delicious the drinks are top notch. A warm and pleasant atmosphere. Stacey the bartender is funny, friendly and competent. She’s always smiling, singing and generally enjoying her work. I always enjoy my experience and throughly love dining here when Stacey is working.

Yelp
Stayed here last week and stopped by the restaurant for dinner one night. I got the voodoo pasta which was delicious! I enjoyed the local ciders they had and a glass of wine. Fantastic service my server checked in frequently and food came out fast

Yelp
Great hotel restaurant and it starts with Sunshine who works at the bar! Great personality, has fun with the customers and is very attentive! Got the voodoo pasta and for the price it's a great deal! Large portion but lots of protein so you don't feel completely sluggish after. Great flavor as well! Will definitely be back and to try the steak bites next!

Yelp
Not really the best dining for a person with food allergies. They don't have a great gluten-free selection.

Yelp
Solid food for a hotel restaurant. Stacy running the bar is a saint and took care of me with suggestions and provided great service. Was pretty bustling with business travelers for a Wednesday night. Will definitely be eating here moving forward when staying at the Marriott property.

Yelp
Don't sleep on the Fins Burger! Perfectly cooked to medium well - juicy, tender, but also with a crisp crust. The bacon jam makes it even better along with the crispy onion rings. Service was attentive and checked back many times.

Yelp
We go there for lunch about once a month. A good variety of food on the menu. Food is always good. Our server Jennifer is wonderful, not only does she remember us but she always has good suggestions.

Yelp
Jennifer was an amazing server. She showed us nothing but good service the whole weekend. Friendly face!!! Food was great also

Yelp
We are a club that meets every first Tuesday of the month and have had breakfast at Fin's for over a year.. This last time we had a different server and she was extremely rude. In all the times we ate there we always revived a discount if we ordered before 1100 a.m which is what we did but this gal refused to give us one. She said that they NEVER gave discounts and argued with us something terrible. She treated all seven of us as if we were not telling the truth. If she would have said nicely we changed our policy we would have understood but she did not. We would have been okay without the discount but it was the horrible way she argued with us. So after all that she agreed to the discount but when we received our bill it was not on there anyway. Unfortunately this place was very convenient for all of us to meet at but never again.

Yelp
It is the bar restaurant in the lobby of the hotel. Rebranded from Lorraine to Fins. Different paints and pics on the wall. Hotel pub food. Prices are still a little high for the area and type of food I was at the grand reopening. The new booths/divider walls look like they were thrown together in two days by rough carpenters using the distressed construction grade plywood off the discount rack at Home Depot

Yelp
Stacey, the bar tender, knows what she is doing with mixing an Old Fashioned or any other classic cocktail. The cook is talented and puts his heart into serving the guests his best! My husband & I were made to feel very welcome by Stacey & the bartender. The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming & relaxing. You may found yourself with a bit of a wait if they get busy, as it is just the two of them, I believe from what we gathered in our observations, but they will make it worth your while. Great food, well-made cocktails & a comfortable place & a genuine smile.

Yelp
I wish I took a picture of my food. I over heard the chefs name was JT, that guy can make a mean burger. The special burger was a Buffalo Trace BBQ burger and god damn that shit was good. Cooked to a perfect medium. The flavors on that thing just mixed perfectly with the crispy onions, bacon, and roasted red peppers. I usually don't eat at hotel bars/restaurants but this burger was really really good and I'll be sure to stay here again. Stacey is a sweetheart too, she works really hard!

Yelp
Had dinner last night here. Had the lemon chicken soup and the chicken Alfredo. Both dishes were tasty. Had breakfast this morning and had the egg white omelet and a pancake. Very good. Takeout only. Had another dinner here because nasty weather and takeout only and staying in hotel. Had tomato bisque(good), patty melt and nice side salad. All tasty.

Yelp
Convenient if you're staying at the hotel. Typical hotel menu but the food was fine. Lots of contractor type guys around. The service was good.

Yelp
Breakfast was fantastic. Ordered corned beef hash, came with two eggs and choice of toast/English muffin/bagel. Hash was hasbrowns and local corned beef, made fresh, with some onion and bell pepper. Best I've ever had. Get the English Muffins - not the usual grocery store ones, these are big and delicious. My husband had the standard American breakfast - 2 eggs, breakfast potatoes, ham, toast. All in all a good start to the day.

Yelp
Apparently they've been open for 5 months, but business was very slow. The decor was lovely, a much needed change. On a Sunday morning I'd say it was at 10% capacity, maybe less. I used to love Sweet Lorraine's crunchy French toast, and they had it on their menu. It came with a meat choice, although the menu doesn't mention that. The ham seemed like the same as Sweet Lorraines. The worst part was the syrup- fake, very viscous, and flavorless, and real maple syrup wasn't available. Over all the crunch FT was really good minus the syrup. They still do the table pot of coffee too. Cons: awful syrup, slow kitchen service, staff unfamiliar with menu, nobody at front to greet us. If I return, and it may be awhile, I'd bring my own syrup.

Yelp
One of the best meals our family has had in quite some time. We ordered the Chicken Quesadillas and wings (Vernors bbq sauce was superb). May seem like typical bar food but my son and I were raving from the first bite. The waitress was very attentive and she made sure that all of the condiments were in place. Good job Dave and Staff!

Mike K.

Yelp
I had breakfast while staying at this Marriott. I had the eggs Benedict and it was excellent. Almost too much food. The service was terrific and the server was very attentive.

Yelp
A friend and I decided to try Fins in the Marriott hotel at Laurel Park (in the former Sweet Lorraine's space). What a mistake! The first clue that something was wrong was standing at the hostess desk, alone, for more than five minutes before someone acknowledged us. We were told to sit anywhere. Once seated, we had to request our own menus after a few minutes (clue two). The menu, for lunch, was ridiculously overpriced, both for time and location (clue three)...I was not anticipating $20 per person for lunch! The selection was limited, too, especially for anyone with dietary restrictions, such as vegetarian or gluten-free (clue four). The fare looked to be standard American, circa 1990. I finally decided on a salmon Caesar salad, which was supposed to be about $16 (for lunch!), and we ordered. Clue five should be about the quality of the food, but I am unable to comment on the food. After over 30 minutes in a restaurant with about 15 other customers, all already eating, my salad had yet to arrive. I cancelled my order. Both the waitress and the manager stated they had no idea what happened. The manager explicitly stated that she did not know WHERE the chef had gone, but they assured me that my salad had NOT EVEN been started. The waitress said she saw the chef take a piece of salmon out, look at it, and return it to the fridge. She stated she had been checking repeatedly for the salad. The manager's explanation was that she didn't know where her chef was and did not know why the food had not been made. This is unacceptable! The manager offered to get my salad to go but I didn't have endless time to wait. I left Fins as I entered, hungry. We then walked across the parking lot to Panera Bread and got hot food in about 10 minutes. In summary, I do not anticipate returning to this restaurant in the future.

Yelp
This restaurant deserves to be busier than it is. We've been three times and food is consistently very good. Room is lovely. Service is good Prices are very reasonable. It may take a new place a while to "catch on" But this restaurant is worth a try. I'm recommending it to our friends. Try it, You'll be pleased. Seating available at all hours.
