The Best Bakeries In Philadelphia

"About 80% of the counter at Kensington’s Fiore is covered in Italian sweets like pistachio cornetti and torta della nonna that tastes more cookie-like than cake-esque. So you’ll have to fight the urge to keep adding things while you’re paying. Or don’t fight it. The baked goods here are better than anything else on the menu—though their sandwiches are fantastic, too." - candis mclean, alison kessler

The 16 Best Breakfast Spots In Philly

"About 80% of the counter at Kensington’s Fiore is covered in Italian sweets like pistachio cornetti and torta della nonna that tastes more cookie-like than cake-esque. And the rest of the space is used to shell out warm pick-me-ups in cappuccino, Italian drinking chocolate, and chai latte form. It's a laidback spot for breakfast, although you’ll have to fight the urge to keep adding things while you’re paying. Or don’t fight it. The baked goods here are better than anything else on the menu—though their sandwiches (especially the B.E.C.) are fantastic, too." - candis mclean, alison kessler

The Hit List: New Philadelphia Restaurants To Try Right Now

"Philadelphians love tomato pie and sandwiches. This is an established fact, like gravity itself or the usefulness of aluminum foil when you don't have Tupperware. So, by the transitive property, you'll also love Fiore, an Italian cafe that just moved from Queen Village to Kensington. Although the new location closes at 3pm, Fiore's menu is exciting and varied enough to warrant multiple visits in one week for breakfast sandwiches, bubbly tomato pie, and a fried chicken sandwich that's so thick, it looks like it never missed a chest day in the gym. 15 Great Restaurants That Are Open On Mondays

"Fiore is the kind of place you want in every neighborhood. Their sandwiches and pastries are incredible, and they’re open on Mondays when almost everywhere else in Kensington is closed. Although they shut down at 3pm, Fiore's menu is varied enough to warrant multiple visits in one week. For breakfast, order a BEC with caramelized onions and a chai sugar donut. Then come back for a bubbly tomato pie, and walk out with some pasta for later or a fried chicken sandwich that's so thick, it looks like it never missed a chest day in the gym.   " - candis mclean, alison kessler

The Best Breakfast Sandwiches In Philly

"The BEC at this Kensington cafe is so special that we’d sign up now for a lifetime supply. The warm sesame seed brioche bun gets nice and cozy with the bacon-packed scrambled eggs, caramelized onions, and a blanket of cheddar cheese. The oversized golden dome keeps the salty juices safely inside. Come hungry (because it’s massive), order one, and while you wait, add three chai sugar donuts to your order. " - candis mclean, alison kessler

Received a menu this morning on my mailbox and was excited to try it out for for dinner. Orderd the special with 2 large pizzas, wings, a cheese steak, and and soda which sounded like a great deal to try a little bit of everything. I was planning ahead and ordered around 3:30 but schedu the delivery for 5:00. At 4:00 (almost on the dot) my pizza is being delivered an hour early. This would have been great timing except my family isn't home to have it so COLD dinner for them. I tried explaining this to the delivery driver but he wasnt grasping what I was saying. The pizza sauce tastes like taco bell mild sauce was mixed with it. Wings are average. Cheese steak is a pizza place cheese steak so whatever. Glad we got a variety so no one is stuck with the nasty (and cold) pizza but everything else will be nice and cold for them when they get home, so I'm sure they'll have great things to say about this place as well. We won't be ordering from here again after this first impression.

I’ve been ordering from here for a while and haven’t been disappointed yet. Everything I’ve tried is very good including their mozzarella sticks, old bay fries, milkshakes, and more.

I ordered a cheesesteak, hoagie, macaroni, salad, and fries. The cheesesteak was excellent, but just too much cheese in it. It was real cheesy. The macaroni salad was good but me I added a miracle, whip and relish. It was banging though, and the fries were perfect nice and crunchy crispy hot. But overall the food was good.

I visited a few Saturdays ago and loved the food! The cooks were sweet and welcoming. The front desk cashier was aggressive and rude with her 2 little pig tails. Satisfied with the food overall.

Went in for a salad. They gave me nothing but core pieces. When I went back in to ask for a refund or for it to be remade the lady cooking had an attitude. They remade it. Put less product in it than the first time. I asked for a refund. Was told no. I order from here weekly. But definitely won’t be coming back. Poor customer service!!!!!

They burnt my wings and when I addressed it they acted very nonchalant and very rude about it. And I wasn’t offered an exchange or refund and I called and the cashier said I have to wait until the manager or owner got there. Customer service just horrible.🤢🤮 I will never order from this place again

Food was ok. The lady at the cashier was nice but the blonde hair that was cooking looked like she was in a bad mood. Very rude dog face. First n last time being there.
