Fiorella's Trattoria

It's been a long time since I have been here and was left a little disappointed and confused after having great experiences. When I opened the ricotta and sausage pizza, it had jalapeños and onions on it?? I wasn't expecting that, maybe i got the wrong pizza. The garlic sticks were floppy and doughy and had some char on it. Last time, they had a nice crisp.

The meatballs 🍝 were pretty good but nothing special (tastes pretty similar to meatballs you can get in other places as well). Same goes for the chicken caesar wrap 🌯. They have alot of options and it's a nice place to go to if you're craving italian food (kind of like a comfort food spot). The chicken caesar wrap was about $15 but the wrap was pretty large.

This location is a great lunch spot- it’s a quick walk up order and you sit yourselves. The food came out really quick and everyone was happy. They have a good, classic Chicken Parm as well as Shrimp Scampi. And everything is coated in their signature sweet tomato sauce which is really great!

The eggplant sandwich changed me as a man. As a person. It was complex. Every bite was different. I don’t know if can afford to go through that again… I don’t know if I can afford to not go through it again. I shall return. Many times.

Very friendly welcome by the counter person. I started ordering the wrong sandwich and he helped me order the right one. I really should take my glasses with me. Anyway, we sat and the food didn’t take long at all. It is counter service so you order at counter and the food was brought to our table. Threw me off with the tip part. I left a few dollars then realized he’s kind of half serving so maybe next time. The food was very good. The sauce(gravy), although not better than mine😎, was very good. The chicken was whole breast, not some processed chicken. The rolls were very soft and fresh. Eggplant had a nice flavor. Not the typical freezer burn taste you tend to get. The pizza was spot on. All in all a great lunch! The one thing I would comment on is the rolls are a bit small for the price. But hey, if it’s good I don’t mind paying. As you can see by our finish! (I ate the last piece too)!

Great place for quality Italian food. Good sized portions and they do the little things that put them over the top. They text you when your food is being prepped and then text you again when it’s done-so you aren’t standing around waiting. For us they asked if we wanted our side order of meatballs mixed in with our chicken and eggplant parmigiana-yes please! Parking is on street (Church or Wash and there is a hidden lot behind them and a public lot on Waban). Have come here many times and will continue!

A casual sit down or take-out restaurant, Fiorella's is a highly valuable gem of a shop. Order delicious food, made fresh onsite and your mouth and mind will be VERY happy you did. We had breadsticks, which were REAL pizza dough stretched and seasoned to perfection with a side of THE most delicious marinara I have tasted(& I normally don't like/can't eat marinara). I can only IMAGINE that the pizza here is a secret because their dough is amongst the best I've EVER had. The homemade Gnocchi was perfection, and the Chicken Parmigian was the juiciest, most delectable, overly generous meal I've had anywhere within a 20-minute drive of this place for less than $50 pp. The whole meal, including a shared salad and 2 seltzer drinks was about $54. Amazing considering how homemade and perfectly everything was cooked to order. We WILL be back and WILL be regulars. Enjoy!!!

Great first visit: welcome to the neighborhood! The walnut salad was practically perfect. I also got the tuna sandwich, and the tuna is delicious and unusual (briney flavors of putanesca with roasted red peppers). The sandwich bread needs work. It's... fine, but it doesn't measure up in quality or flavor to the rest of the menu. The eggplant parm sandwich is delicious, but it needs more sauce. Unfortunately, the bread wouldn't be able to withstand more sauce. Lovely staff. Colin is friendly and knowledgeable and interested in his customers. I was going to give 4 stars, but they were so receptive to my feedback (and let us try some truffle cookies, which were delicious), that I feel compelled to give 5 stars. Thank you. We look forward to coming back soon.

we have been to a couple of their other restaurants and they were good so while we were in the area, we stopped by the one in Wellesley. street parking only but we were able to find plenty of street parking. at least the meter is a quarter for 30mins. the service was good. we ordered chicken parm because that was all we ever tried from them. we wanted the garlic bread because we remembered their bread was really good. they actually asked if we wanted a whole side of garlic bread or they can give us each an extra piece which we were grateful that they offered that instead of having 6 whole pieces of bread as a side. they gave a good amount of chicken parm as well.

Great food. Good pizza, subs (chicken Parm or eggplant parm subs) pasta. Fast delivery. Try the toasted ravioli.

Goat cheese and walnut salad was excellent. Truffle and honey pizza was good but over-cooked. Second day with crushed red pepper made it better. Chicken gnocchi fra Diavlo was very unremarkable. No Diavlo, not seasoned at all, no discernible oregano, or basil or red pepper. It just wasn't seasoned. Since it was take out, I had to doctor it at home. But I shouldn't have to. Will never order again. I'd come back for the salad, but at this price it isn't great value.

Service was a bit slow, 25 minutes for a sandwich. Staff was friendly and has a good environment. I got the cali wrap with no red peppers and it was good.

I think this is the best pizza in Wellesley. I haven't tried the other places, but I don't need to because this place is so good!

The food was great, but was has me coming back is the service. I first came to Fiorellas recently after knee surgery, and they were super helpful, bringing my food to me and making sure I could get in and out of the door smoothly. Exemplary customer service.

The pizzas are great. We've had a Sausage & Ricotta, Prosciutto and Honey, and a mushroom Pizza. They've all been better than your average greasy pan pizza even though they cost about the same.

Ordered the fettuccine Bolognese and was awful... cold sauce. The bread was a bottom of a hamburg roll cold, no butter, no garlic...wasted money ... was 22 bucks robbery Had pizza before there and was good ...I guess stick to pizza.... Cold bottom of hamburger roll real lame bread option

On a Monday - this seemed to be the only place open for lunch in all of downtown Wellesley. Order at the counter. They bring the food to you. They seemed to be doing a big take out business. There were a few outdoor tables. Lucky for us - they were on the shady side of the building! House salads were standard fare. Dressing was served on the side. Tomatoes and lettuce appeared to be local fresh. They had no issues with a cheese substitution on the eggplant sandwich. In fact offered after we requested no mozzarella. The lasagna was really good. The sauce was to die for. This place was a good find. Will be back.

This place is a joke. They had an event going on where you got an envelope for dining there. On this envelope were two options a free food for the table and be a $500 gift card. Opening this envelope would make it invalid. However, neither of these were true. The free food was only a five dollar off coupon. There was no fine print on the envelope saying it would only be five dollars off so my family went all out on purchasing a meal to celebrate someone coming home. I'm disgusted to say the least. Don't fall for their nonsense.

Here is a photo of a slice of the Margherita pizza we ordered from Fiorellla's in Wellesley. Didn't realize "Margherita" is Italian for "absolutely no cheese." At $24, i expect a lot more than dough and sauce. What a ripoff.

This is the best place, surprised my girlfriend and ordered food for her and her husband and paid the driver an additional $15.00 besides his tip to make the extra trek! They loved it- wonder why I said "and husband" bc my girlfriend married this guy and it's cheaper to keep him! But please try this place out if you're ever in Massachusetts!!!! The staff are terrific!!!

I had to write a review of this place, because I was so annoyed at the process they've established. First of all, this is a take out restaurant, again TAKE OUT RESTAURANT. Yet, when I picked up my pizza, which was extremely small even though I ordered a large, and ridiculously overpriced, my receipt had a tip suggestion section printed out if I wanted to tip 15%, 18%, or 20% and the amount it should be accordingly. I ask you, what in god's name am I tipping for, for the girl who picked up the phone and took my order, and ultimately made change when I paid for it? Usually, I'll leave a dollar when I pick up take out, but on what planet does this restaurant think I'm going to tip 20 percent on a take out order? Fiorella's...read the room, and take a reality pill...your pizza wasn't that good either.

We had the Niçoise salad and my daughter had the gnocchi. Both were very well-executed with good-quality fresh ingredients. Very nice place to eat in a very beautiful town.

Absolutely delicious food! Been twice in three days and have enjoyed everything! They make customization so easy - I'm a picky vegetarian and everything has been made perfectly. The standout was a large pizza without sauce, add garlic/oil, cherry peppers, eggplant and honey. Yes, HONEY. It's so freaking good! Also, the service is quick and incredibly friendly, and their online rewards sent me a great coupon after just one order. We will definitely be back often!

Delicious and consistent food. Something for everyone on the menu. Our go-to place for takeout.

My 6-year-old wanted to have a date with me so we ended up at fiorella's not realizing it was an express location. There were still a few tables inside so we could eat and despite the limited menu, the options are delicious. The pizza is top notch as is the Bolognese sauce. Despite the hustle of it being a busy takeout spot, the staff were really kind and conscientious about delivering food, napkins and bussing us.

Best gnocchi I've had outside of Italy - the consistency is perfect. Try it with the fra diavolo sauce. Excellent service, food is always prepared fresh to order and ready on time.

Can't say enough good things about Fiorella's. During the pandemic, this has been our go-to. Safe, organized, friendly, and consistently excellent quality. They just get it done.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED - will give negative stars. Will NOT try again (just waste my time) and will alert all my friends the BAD experiences. Ordered take away pizza twice - both horrible experiences on extensive long waiting times with dishonest information. The first attempt was bad (extensive waiting) already, and the experience getting even worse on the 2nd try: 1. Staffs said to wait for 15 to 20 minutes for take away orders while ordering by phone. 2. After arriving the location 20 minutes later - staff mentioned few extra minutes needed while paying the take away order. 3. Right after order paid ....watching another staff just placing pizza into oven....which it took additional 15 minutes (cooking/ packaging) .... 4. Overall it took around 45 minutes ......and staff provided incorrect information repeatedly. If Staff could just honestly let me know it will take 40 minutes - I may order dinner from other places or at least to manage pick time accordingly. Alternatively, if staff could let me know the pizza was not cooked at all (not just need few minutes) when I arriving - I could just cancel the order and to see other options for dinner. No business should treat customer like this. Will NOT recommend the place to all my friends.

Just had the crispy chicken cutlet sandwich. It was delicious. Great seeded bread, fresh tomatoes, onion, lettuce and mozzarella. It was quick and hot. Staff is friendly and a nice atmosphere.

Absolutely love this place! Would order it every night if my husband would let me. Strongly reccomend the margarita pizza.

Fiorella's is a family staple for us! We usually order take out, and their app makes it easy to order for a quick weekday meal and their food is always terrific. Recently, we've gone there to dine-in and we've had a wonderful experience. The food is hot and delicious (tonight, I had the tortellini special, my husband got the chicken Parmesan and we got two orders of pasta with meatballs for our kids). The manager brought my kids crayons and paper to stay occupied while we waited for our food (which wasn't long), and they were happy to remake plain pasta for my youngest who decided he didn't like it with butter. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, it's a great place to take kids and the food is excellent.

This is the best Italian in the area. Everything made fresh to order with incredible detail and service. A must stop.

I've had good and bad take out from here but I 100% recommend the goat cheese salad. The dressing is delicious and it really hit the spot. Could have more goat cheese but it was very good. Super quick too

This place never disappoints me. Pizza or pasta, I am still struggling to find a bad dish on their menu. I like takeouts here but the Newton one is good sit down place.

Some recent improvement. Food is good, service needs improvement. Had a recent bad experience with cold fried food with manager insensitive to complaint. I would have made things right for the customer. I can't deny that the food is good if they can get it to you on time. Don't tell the customer it will be a 40 minute when it took only 20 minutes and left to sit for 20 minutes getting cold. I will try again and hope for improvement.

Consistently excellent food, friendly and attentive service. We've been fans of the other locations (Belmont, Brighton) for a long time, and were thrilled when the Wellesley location opened. This place never disappoints, and they're even willing to prepare off-menu items for picky kids.

My experience has not been a good one so far. One evening i arrived to pick up my order (with a 20 minute wait) and had to wait an additional 35 minutes. It was total chaos with many unhappy patrons waiting. My most recent experience, I was told it would be a 40 minute wait. When i arrived in 40 minutes the food was sitting on the shelf and i asked when it was ready. They told me it sat there for 20 minutes. When I arrived home the food was cold beyond belief. Nothing worse than cold fried calamari and pizza. I returned the following week to pick up a new order. I spoke with the Manager who did not care one bit when i told him about my previous experiences. THIS PLACE IS IN NEED OF A BETTER SYSTEM OR PERHAPS A COMPETENT MANAGER. GOOD LUCK! PS: just recalled my first order. The calamari was mostly balls of fried bread crumbs. Not good!

I wanted to love Fiorellas, as I heard great things about its other locations. The first and second times we ordered it was delicious, my husband picked it up. The third time we ordered online for delivery and at hour 2 I called and they had no record of our order. I then ordered from somewhere else, 4 hours after my initial order a deliver person showed up with a cold bag of food which I sent away. I called the restaurant and the manager was so rude and dismissive. Tonight I decided to give it another chance. My food showed up on time, but... --Freezing cold!! --The veggies in the pasta were barely cooked and the caramelized onions were still bright white and crispy. --The sauce on the pasta was tasteless, I know it can be delicious since we had the same pasta the first two times we ordered from there. I can only assume the difference is pick up versus delivery. I am hoping they get their act together, as I know from the first few times we ordered that the food can be really good.

Have been to the other restaurant in Newtonville and thought it was excellent. Came here on a whim and glad I did. My wife got the eggplant parm and thought it was excellent. Very crispy and delicious. I had the grilled chicken gnocchi fra diavolo which I thoroughly enjoyed as well. Portions were perfect size and the value for the money was excellent. It seems like a busy take out place and there are about a dozen tables to sit at and enjoy. We will definitely be back.

Decent. Always leave a little something to be desired though unfortunately. Pizza always seems to be good, but the wraps and sandwiches are good, but never amazing. Last night got a Caesar wrap and there was very little dressing and chicken was in huge chunks. Just ok. But always an "ok" option for a takeout for us

I am not a fan of italian food, however Fiorellas has won me over. I had the seafood ravioli and sausage tortellini and both times I felt that there was an elderly grandmother cooking for her kids in the kitchen. I highly recommend this great addition to Wellesley.

Got takeout from here and the food was ready within ~30 minutes of ordering. Got the tortellini with sausage/peppers/onions, prosciutto & honey pizza, fettuccini bolognese, and caesar salad. Thoroughly enjoyed them all with the fettuccini and pizza being the highlights. Would certainly return!

Really disappointed in Fiorella's Wellesley. The service tonight was bad. I arrived for curbside pickup and called. They said they would bring it out as soon as it was ready. After 20 min I called again and they said they think its ready, pull your car up front. The food was barely still warm not hot right out of the oven. The garlic bread was STALE, must have been week old bread at least. Fiorella's has great potential but they need to focus on execution! Other than the stale bread, extensive wait and barely warm food, it did taste good - after heating it back up at home thus the 2 stars vs 1.

Really poor curbside service tonight. Rude manager too. Disappointing, as they usually do a good job.

What a great find!! My husband and I were visiting my parents in the area and we found Fiorella's online. We had the Arugula pizza and it was delicious! The restaurant is tastefully decorated, the service excellent, and the staff very friendly and helpful.

The food and service is here is just what you would expect from Fiorellas. I have visited their Newton and Concord location and have always loved the family feel the staff welcomes you with. The food is fresh and affordable. The express restaurants offer a variety of sandwiches as well as all of the staple dishes from their regular menu. I highly recommend visiting this hotel new location.

Had eggplant linguine and margarita pizza and loved them..The service was fast and prices were reasonable considering Wellesley standards

Such a great takeout (or casual sit-down) place! Offer fantastic gluten free options and staff is very knowledgeable about different allergies. Everything about this place is so great and it is exactly what Wellesley needed. Food always is done in good timing and staff is very friendly. Eat here all the time and it never fails to disappoint!!

Went there this afternoon for takeout. Fast excellent service. My veggie pizza was ready in 10 minutes - delicious! I would go again.

Overall love the food and staff but I've had bad experiences with one of their new staff members. She is rude and does not treat customers appropriately. As someone that works in the food service industry I hate to see this

Ordered my meal and waited 1 hr 45 minutes for delivery. I was told it was "on they way." Waited and called back after 30 minutes - I was told it was still in the kitchen. So disappointing, especially when you lie to your customers. I have never had a problem before, but this was egregious (especially when you pretended that it was on they way). Times are tough, but get it together Fiorellas.

Love getting delivery from Fiorella's Express - comes on time, food is delicious (pizza, pasta, chicken parm, eggplant parm), and the price is reasonable!

Truly outstanding pizza and the best in Wellesley. Recently ordered takeout and called ahead on a drive back to town...ordered a Margherita and a Sausage & Ricotta with cherry peppers (awesome!) and it was seamless...pizza was terrific, staff was great and everything was ready on time. Great food and clearly well managed...we'll be back!

We had a very nice, kind, caring, and quick waiter named Colin. He could always start a conversation and made me feel comfortable. The pizza at this place is out of this world along with the service. Best pizza place!

My family and I have tried this place twice and have to say it was extremely disappointing! Such small portions..I mean real smalll..you know those small plastic to go plates that you can buy at a store? That is what they use and that is the size of your dinner! The pizzas are also small..we were still hungry! Also I ordered a chicken parmigiana sandwich and it was awful..again small Italian sesame seed bulky roll and so dry hardly any sauce and the chicken was disgusting! Overly fried, chewy and flat! I could not eat it at all so took of all the fried breading that was on it and the amount of chicken that you actually get isn't even half a cup! I gave it to my kitty to eat! The worst chicken parmigiana sandwich I have ever had! When you walk out of there with your small bag of food and your 2 by 4 pizza you will see what I mean and be surprised! Wellesley you need a decent restaurant for a change and no more of these chain places that rip you off! We will not be going back!!
