Absolutely delicious food! So flavourful and the local wines as well. Pleasant and attentive staff. We sat at the tables set outside of the restaurant next to the courtyard.

Short menu with some vegan options but once informed they can arrange extra dishes. The chickpea frittata is very good! The restaurant is small, cozy and has a nice mix and match between rustic and modern design. Staff are young and welcoming.

The gnudi di zucca (pumpkin) with gorgonzola and black truffle was exquisite. Delicate and airy, yet packed full of flavour. Loved every second of the meal and want to go back tomorrow and try more from the menu.

Cucina toscana rivisitata di un buon livello in ottima location in San Miniato alto. Piatti semplici ma ben curati, personali professionali. Consiglio, assaggiate i topini!

Prosciutteria came recommended by my Tuscan friend who lives in Fueccicio. She said "there's a little butchery shop that serves lunch. GO THERE!" So we went. We had an authentic Tuscan 2 hour lunch. You order from items written daily on a chalk board. You can point if you don't speak Italian. But they love for you to make an effort at sounding out the words. (google translate helps). You don't have to order so many items but when in Tuscany... You grab your cutlery and pick from one of the three tables. Sit, and wait. We ordered the charcuterie plate, antipasto, roast beef (best I've had in my entire life), bolognese pasta and lots of vino rosso. You must go to there!

So good! It's like a deli restaurant and you order at the counter and they'll bring you a beautiful selection of food. Vegetable antipasto were incredibly flavour some with lots of different options (spinach chickpeas roast tomatoes zucchini etc). The other standout is of course the lampredotto and porchetta. Or you can have a mixed plate of salumi. Great value and excellent quality.
