11 Not-So-Traditional Pizzas to Try in Miami

"Indian food and pizza are a beautiful combo, and this North Miami food truck hits the right notes by creating unique pies using naan as the base. There are two offerings: paneer tikka masala naan pizza (the Indian version of a Margherita) and chicken tikka naan pizza for that craving for protein." - Alona Martinez

This food is AMAZING!! Everything is fresh, flavorful, and just all around delicious. If you want so high quality Indian food, look no further. When I went, there wasn’t a place to sit down and eat, so plan on taking it home and enjoying there

If you want authentic Indian then look no further. Firangi is simple but delicious. I have been twice now (tried 3x but they're closed on Mondays) and it got better the second time around. Had the butter chicken with basmati rice and Naan and garlic Naan. Ordered it spicy and the first time the chef was to give me what I asked for but the second time, the second time, Shahid made sure to put the spice in while cooking. It was perfection. If you're unsure about your desired spice level, just let them give it to you on the side but it definitely tastes better cooked in. Started with Samosas and washed it all down with a mango Lassi. This place doesn't disappoint, it delivers on taste and satisfaction. It's also on Doordash. My least favorite thing is eating there but I never want to wait. It's in a food truck lot off 2nd Ave, which is cool but not ideal. They are closed Mondays and otherwise open around 1400ish. Next time I go, I'm going to try the chicken korma and saah paneer because all the favorites are there. Do not let the truck fool you into thinking they don't serve everything, they do. Do go and tell Shahid, A Plus Recommends it spicy!

Google
Ironic that a food truck should offer the best Indian food in S FL. Sensational sauces, delicious breads, fresh ingredients (the Korma is the tastiest I have had on 4 continents). And of course very reasonable prices I don’t have any connection to the young owners and I don’t usually write reviews, Google or otherwise. But this was too good an experience not to respond to

Have flavourful blast of Samosa Chat and Aloo Chat. Starters are ok !!! - Naans are great

The food here is so delicious and less expensive than other Indian restaurants in the area. It is so authentic and you can tell the cook puts a lot of love and joy into the food. My new favorite spot! The butter chicken was heavenly and so was the lamb biryani 😍🥰😍🥰

Google
Listen, the food here is amazing. I am absolutely gobsmacked by how delicious the Chicken Tikka Pizza I had yesterday was, and I ate the leftovers today and almost died of flavor explosion. I couldn't recommend that dish enough. Although I will say it's spicy as hell even if you order it mild, the flavor was so good I battled through the heat. It was 100% worth it. My boyfriend on the other hand was less of a fan because because red sauces really upset his stomach and the heat was too much for him, but he loooooved the veg samosas and the sauce that came with them. The sauce sort of tastes like a mix of tamarind and apple sauce to me, it was very unique and my boyfriend says it was a really good pairing with the samosas. I was less of a fan of the samosas as the Tikka Pizza (although they were obviously still tasty) because I'd prefer they had meat in them, but I'm glad we both found something we loved. This was our second time coming here and the first time I had the Butter Chicken and I was utterly dumbfounded by how delicious the flavors were. Just simply transported to a world of pure joy. My boyfriend adored the lamb Biryani. There is something for everyone here. I really can't recommend this place enough. The cook is a wonderful, warm hearted, experienced woman. You can tell she loves what she does, and she puts so much love and effort in every dish. This restaurant and chef, in my opinion, is worth a long drive to visit. I firmly believe her food should be written about in blogs and local eatery magazines. I just can't wait to keep trying new things from the menu. Thank you a million 🙏🙏🙏

Tried to call in an order and nobody answered the phone. Placed an order online, arrived to the location for pickup and nothing was ready, they hadn’t even seen the order and had to start making it in a rush. Waited about 15 min extra. I ordered butter chicken with medium spice and ended up getting what tasted like a very spicy Tikka Masala. Rice was not great, garlic naan was pretty good, chicken portion was very small. Not worth the price.

Google
I purchased the chicken Tikka Masala at a medium spice level. The flavor was excellent, but there was less than 2 oz of chicken in the entire entree (literally -- two small "bites" of thin chicken). At the price point, the portion size felt like a rip-off. Having said that, I want to stress again the flavor of the Tikka Masala was good enough that I might order again with tempered expectations.

Yelp
Friendly service with a smile. I ordered a chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. It was piping hot.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying that I have passed by this food truck plenty of times and always been curious because I love Indian food, but I've had plenty of mid/bad Indian food here in Miami. I decided to try Firangi for lunch while at work nearby- and wow. The food is absolutely phenomenal! The flavor, portion, spice, everything has been top notch. I've had the butter chicken, the samosas, the chicken 65 and the pepper fry chicken and they've all been delicious. I have been picking up lunch every day for the past three days now! The lady and the gentleman, whose names I havent asked, are alway hospitable and attentive; I have been telling everyone about this place, I'm obsessed!

Yelp
While looking up Indian food in Miami I came across Firangi on Google and it had great reviews. While skeptical it being a good truck I decided to give it a try and to my surprise it has been the best Indian food I've had in Miami. The paneer tikka masala had the masala Indian food needs, the garlic naan had enough garlic and was soft, the aloo tikki chaat was also flavorful. I think their was food coloring added to the the paneer tikka masala because my fingernails were stained after which I didn't like. I would like them to extend their menu to see some of my Indian favorites such as gobi manchurian and chilli paneer Vs some American sides they have on the menu such as cheese sticks, fries and spring rolls that are not made in house. If you want authentic Indian food, give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
We ordered for delivery, so no comments on the service or ambience. I always want Indian food and my husband always wants pizza so this seemed like a perfect fit for us. The chicken tikka naan pizza was delicious, with the right amount of tikka masala and cheese so you could still taste the naan. The butter chicken was also very tasty. We'll order again!

Yelp
Excellent food, freshly prepared, delicious. Highly recommend. The naan pizza is awesome.

Yelp
Fairly good Indian taste, surprisingly local vendor on food truck. Believe me, try once. The grandma doing the cooking is putting her heart, they may not understand the Desi/ Indian English accent, but very reasonable. Somewhat oily. There's a Seven eleven type shop adjacent, if you want to pick up few additional things. It's in a corner between two streets, so prepare to cut.. not a traffic area though.
