The 26 Best Restaurants in Anchorage, Alaska | Eater

"A much loved local bakery with three locations – one in South Anchorage, one downtown, and one in the East Anchorage neighborhood of Airport Heights – Fire Island offers fresh daily artisan breads, pastries, sandwiches and soup. The newest location is located in a new K Street Market building in downtown Anchorage, with That Feeling Co, a plant shop with great coffee, Johnny’s Produce, a small produce shop with juices and smoothies, and La Bodega, a boutique liquor store. Every Fire Island location has indoor and outdoor seating." - Julia O'Malley

"Fire Island, in the heart of South Addition, one of Anchorage’s oldest neighborhoods, handcrafts an astonishingly delicious array of baked goods, breads, sandwiches, and savory delights that keep locals lining up for more. The bakery uses as much local produce as it can squeeze into its scones and muffins, offers interesting flavor combos, and serves up a tofu banh mi that is one of the finest tofu sandwiches known to man. If you’re hanging out in Anchorage for more than a day or two, check out the class schedule. You could leave Alaska with some serious sourdough skills. Please note: Fire Island is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as most of January."

Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop Gets Me Through the Long Alaskan Winter | Bon Appétit

"A fiercely local, family-founded bakery in a modest residential storefront chosen deliberately to help revive the neighborhood, this spot is an altar to bread and a daily gathering place for the community. Lifelong Alaskan founders hired family as their first bakers and the current baker, Carlyle Watt, was a James Beard Foundation “outstanding baker” semifinalist in 2017, reflecting the shop’s serious craft: staples like Alaska whole wheat and a signature sourdough sit alongside weekday specials such as challah, plum-flax, and sprouted-grain loaves, and a proud Vollkornbrot built for smoked salmon and dill. The pastry case is unexpectedly refined—polenta cakes topped with blackberries and flecks of Earl Grey, lemon tarts laced with dark chocolate, chunky chocolate chip cookies, massive flaky scones (including a raspberry scone the size of a rugby ball and flavors like blackberry-rhubarb and ham-cheddar-chive), and a much-lauded cupcake selection. Beyond the food, the bakery functions as a neighborly hub—staff who will drop everything to help a local event, regulars who stop in after snow-clearing, soccer teams postgame, and a seasonal rhythm (a notable staff hiatus in January) that underlines its role as a place built by and for locals even as tourists now discover it." - ByGenevieve Roth

Google
This bakery truly delivers on its promise of quality. The pastries were incredibly fresh, and we loved that they use local organic flour and seasonal produce — you can really taste the difference! We tried a scone that was absolutely delicious — not overly sweet, just the right balance, and baked to perfection. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into each item. While it’s a little on the pricey side, the quality and ingredients make it well worth the treat. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates thoughtfully made baked goods!

Atmosphere – 3 stars The bakeshop has a cozy, rustic vibe but feels a bit cramped, especially when it’s busy—which seems to be most of the time. There are a few tables available, but I found the seating uncomfortable and the cleanliness lacking. There were noticeable crumbs on both the floor and tables, which took away from the overall experience. Service – 3 stars It’s a walk-up counter style setup, and while the staff was polite and moved fairly efficiently, there wasn’t much in terms of personal engagement. I asked if they had white milk, and they looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. After a bit of confusion, they finally figured out what I meant and told me I could get milk from the nearby coffee stand. Not rude, just a little unpolished. Food – 4 stars I got a ham and cheese sandwich that was pretty good—the bread was especially fresh. I also tried a chocolate chip cookie, which was really good. I added a blueberry crème cupcake to the mix—it was tasty, but a little hard to eat since it was chilled and the frosting was firm, almost brittle, and broke apart. Overall, the quality of the baked goods was solid, but the pricing felt a bit steep for what you get. Not sure if I’d go out of my way to return.

Google
Really AMAZING bakery and staff! I had heard about this place for so long, but never made it downtown! Really great discovery! Wonderful array of food, pastries, fresh baked breads, soups and sandwiches. Their cakes are amazing, but with this silly economy the larger sized ones are wayyyyy overpriced. Definitely recommend going during the week days! Weekends are swamped!!!

Google
Excellent bakery. Baked fresh there. Many bread and pastries options along with sandwiches. Breakfast is only pastries. Only serve drip coffee but the shop right behind it in the same K Market serves specialty coffees. It was very busy by 10am on a weekday

Google
Yummy pastries and sandwiches. Conveniently shares a building with a coffee place and a smoothie place and you can collect from all 3 for the perfect brunch. Some seasonal hours. When we went, they only had partial service on Monday and Tuesday, only cookies and muffins. And a trifle.

Google
This is a really cool marketplace that includes the Bakeshop, a coffee shop that also sells plants, a produce shop, and a wine shop. We purchased the ham and Swiss sandwich and the melted tomato sandwich, both of which were very good. The tomato sandwich had a bit too much Mayo on it and we felt the ham and Swiss could have benefitted from some of that extra Mayo. We also got the monkey bread, a chocolate chip cookie, the peanut butter sandwich cookie, and the Alaska berry scone, all of which were excellent. My personal favorite was the peanut butter sandwich cookie.

Google
Staff were super friendly. Order at the counter spot. We loved the focaccia breakfast item. Pastries were yummy too!

Google
This is probably the most popular bakery in town! The sandwiches and bread are delicious and made of high-quality ingredients. It always seems like a line, but it moves fast.

Yelp
If you're on the hunt for fresh out the oven baguettes, you need to visit this bakery. We came around 2p, so inventory was pretty cleared out. All that was left were the cookies, pre-packaged chocolate shortbread cookies, rosemary-lemon polenta cake, and a mint cupcake. They were out of baguettes, but a fresh batch was coming out in 25 minutes. Pretty cool that they're still baking so close to closing. We ordered one of everything, and each bite we took was so fulfilling. The polenta cake was delightfully crumbly yet dense enough to not fall apart. The rosemary-lemon icing was a sweet citrus and not overwhelming. I thought it would taste more on the earthy side, but it was heavenly. The baguette was one of my favorites - crisp but not painful to bite into and the inside was perfectly dense (not super doughy). I did the crunch test from the movie Ratatouille and it passed lol. The chocolate shortbread cookies didn't pass the kid-test since they were more of a dark chocolate, but I thought they were delicious! They had a subtle sweetness that I appreciated. If you're willing to wait for baguettes to come out the oven, there are two other shops in the same little plaza. One is a plant / coffee shop and the other is a wine shop, both of which were nice to visit and made the time fly. I super recommend going, and don't be discouraged if there is a long line. It goes fast!

Yelp
I love checking out local bakeries, and Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop was a great find! We arrived at about 9:30 am and found that they were out of a few items (based on the turned down item tags). Sad to have missed those, but there were still a bunch of great looking pastries that we ordered. We ordered: - Ham and cheese croissant: delicious, crispy croissant - Cranberry orange scone: I preferred this flavor to the lemon raspberry scone - Lemon raspberry scone - Chocolate babka - Monkey bread There was plenty of seating available, and there are also restrooms onsite.

Yelp
Customer service: 4 Affordability: 4 Cleanliness: 5 Location: 5 Parking: 4 We visited this bakery this summer, while we were visiting the Anchorage area. We decided to stop by based on their Google and Yelp reviews. They have a small parking lot, so we had to find nearby street parking. It's a popular local bakery, so we had to wait a few minutes to get 2 muffins to go. The staff was very friendly and professional. The muffins were kind of dry, but they were served warm.

Yelp
The whole place is amazing! Fresh food and baked goods, plants and coffee! It doesn't get better than this. The service is fast and friendly and the ambiance is great! Definitely a must try!

Yelp
We visited this place on our way to Seward and what a great place discovered. Here is the summary of our experience at this bakery heaven: 1. Ambiance 5/5: This place was brimming with people and you can clearly see employees baking hundreds of fresh breads, scones, and everything drool-worthy. The place has a great vibe and was very busy 2. Service 5/5: Even though the place was crowded and superbusy , the counter person was friendly and the service was fast. 3. Food 5/5: We ordered a lot of food and bread - some of which I do not remember now but one thing is for sure - if you are looking for freshly baked items with great and unforgettable taste, then this is the place to be in. For breakfast we ordered, a) Breakfast (yes it is called breakfast): It is good for 1 person but insufficient if you are very hungry. b) Chicken Ceaser: It's a cold wrap that is delicious and good enough for one person. c) Different types of bread: We ordered a couple of big loaves of bread and finished within minutes d) Foccacia: They were like small slices of pizza with eggs and cheese and tasted delicious. 4) Value for Money 5/5: Although some might say it is costly but when you take into account the freshness and taste, this is a complete value for money and a breakfast that you will remember. Overall. If you are ever visiting Anchorage, this place should definitely be at the top of your list for breakfast. A must-visit for everyone The Good: 1) Everything - the baked items, the coffee, and the breakfast was delicious Not so good: 1) Parking in front is limited and is not free in any place nearby

Yelp
Bright, cute bakery with lots of seating. Serving cakes, pastries, and savoury items (soups and sandwiches). Omg the SCONES *drool* - dense, buttery, NOT dry, not to sweet. Crispy on the outside, a touch of salt. Fresh raspberries. We tried them right out of the oven. My sister said the alfajore ($5.50) was excellent, not to sweet too. On the pricier side but you are paying for real quality items.

Yelp
This places is a must for anyone visiting Alaska! The food and pastries are so good and affordable! I never feel "stressed" when I purchase anything from here which these days is something that actually makes me not want to go out these days. The atmosphere is comfortable! I often go here by myself or for a coffee and snack date with my friends!

Yelp
Newer location is nice because of the other stores that accompany it. I too don't like their setup. There's got to be a better way. If I worked there I'm sure I would get tired of saying "have you been helped yet?" Somebody helps you then leaves you in the same spot in line as before they helped you so nobody knows. Then you follow them to a register. Today I got the BLT sandwich. It's different then ones they've had before, and unfortuantly less special. The old one was on a baguette and had pickled tomatoes. This one was on plain bread with shredded lettuce, bacon and regular tomato. $17. Didn't get a chocolate chip cookie this time but they are my favorite. Might be my second favorite because sewards resurrection coffee house has my first now. We also asked for a sourdough starter and they gave us one for free.

Yelp
Don't have enough words to express how good this place is. Hands down, best bakery in Anchorage. Both of their locations smell amazing when ya walk in the door, always have unique options that will fire up your taste buds. Service is always great. I go here multiple times every time I'm home visiting family and friends. 1000% must experience when in Anchorage. One of my personal favorite places to go grab a sandwich and soup, and of course grab a bag of goodies and a coffee to go.

Yelp
I come here at least once a week. I am obsessed with their raspberry lemon scone and have no idea how they make it. We got the carrot cake this week. So so good! The soups are always amazing. I will never have anything bad to say about fire island. Anything you eat here is good. The options are endless. The line moves fast. The workers are so nice. The atmosphere is so airy with the plant/coffee shop right there. I love it here.

Yelp
A great little bakery in Anchorage! I had time to waste before my 11AM tour so I stopped by Fire Island to have breakfast. I ordered what I think they called the "Messy Egg Breakfast Sandwich" which had avocado in it for $14. It was so good and had bits of dill in it. A small coffee was $3. I sat at one of the tables looking at my bear photos from the day before while enjoying my sandwich + coffee. All the baked items smelled so good! I liked the open kitchen concept - you could see them decorating cakes, rolling out bread, making focaccia etc. They had a good amount of tables to sit at both inside and outside. Great spot!

wil s.

Yelp
A little pricey but good. Need more selections of pastries and longer hours to be open to the public. Nice service.
google avatar

Naomi J.

Yelp
Other reviewers say the scones are the best dish this bakery serves - I believe it! And moreover, I can say that these are the best scones I've ever had! We loved the raspberry scone (5/5 stars) and apple Gruyère (5/5 stars blow your mind amazingly good!!). We also tried the "messy egg salad and avocado sandwich" (4.5/5 stars) which was good, but I think it was made with yesterday's bread.

Yelp
Bakery - delicious, consistent, and terrific variety Juices - yum Soup - the two I had were delicious: roasted red pepper, and salmon chowder Service - consistently kind and helpful PS the espresso drinks at the shop next door are terrific.

Yelp
Love this place! Everything from breads, pastries to breakfast focaccia is freshly made that day and delicious! . Ambiance is so chill especially with That Felling Co plant shop next door. It never fails- I always walk out with bread, coffee, and a plant LOL!
google avatar

Marney R.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this find! It was a very active place with lots of foot traffic. Everything smelled amazing and you could see the bakery activity creating more deliciousness! I was pleasantly surprised to find the challah knot warm even at 2pm when they close at 4. If you come earlier in the day I am told they have more of a selection but they definitely had many options to choose from. The scone was the perfect blend of sweetness but not too sweet that is tastes like a cookie/muffin. So glad we happened upon this in my Yelp search. It's a must if you enjoy well made bakery creations. My only disappointment is that we are not in town longer to enjoy more items!
google avatar

Thais G.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended. I thought it was just ok. There was a long line when I went. It moved fast though. I wish they actually had a list of ingredients available. I ordered the focaccia thinking it was just cheese and pesto. Since I got it to go I didn't take a good look at it. It was packed with mushrooms. Unfortunately I'm allergic to mushrooms and had to throw it away. Also the menu on their site is outdated. So make sure to double check their update list once you get to the store. Took a ciabatta bread home. It was pretty good. Overall it's just another touristy place.
google avatar

Jay C.

Yelp
Seems I have different food items for lunch every day. Went there at the recommendation of a friend. Even at 2 o'clock when we showed up, it was 10 people deep in the queue. Great bakery items, great lunch items and great dessert items. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Afrin K.

Yelp
Solid bakery and brunch spot! This was our second time eating here, ordering the coffee next door and their baked goods. Highly recommend their berry scones. The soup today was a little salty than I would like, but overall a solid place to grab a bite. The cost is a tad high at $13 for the soup and $16 for the sandwich.
google avatar

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
This is the place to be. I came by for a later lunch and found all the sandwiches to be unavailable. I opted for the salmon chowder and monkey bread. The chowder was amazing and so delicious. The money bread was also lovely, pulling apart very easily. My friend and I stopped by again the next morning. We got there much earlier and sandwiches were still available. I opted for a pastry again and found it equally pleasant. It can get super busy there and even if you're in line and the cutoff time for breakfast sandwich comes up while you're in the queue, then you're out of luck. The cafe in the plant shop and juicery in the small grocery shop offer beverage options to complement the bakery. There's outdoor seating as well. It's a popular spot.

Yelp
Visited Anchorage for less than a week and visited here 3 times. The roast beast sandwich and peanut butter cookies are DELICIOUS.
google avatar

S C.

Yelp
They had a pickled beet and sweet potato sandwich with goat cheese and dill and it was absolutely amazing! I am typically not a fan of goat cheese and this spread with the herb was delicious. They were incredibly good with service too. Asking about our day and helping us with any questions. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Jacy J.

Yelp
I've come here a couple times, first for their classic croissant, the second for the pain au chocolat. Although I'm no expert and it could very well supposed to be that way, I wish the pain au chocolat had more chocolate. I got maybe 10 very small pieces (no larger than a couple chocolate chips, if that) of chocolate just in the bottom of the croissant and that was it. But the croissant was BEAUTIFUL! The exterior was a beautiful golden brown with a slight crunch, the interior was a soft, buttery, flakey texture that melts in your mouth. Truly impressive! The male taking our order was very upbeat and optimistic, which made the whole experience wonderful! I'd come again!

Yelp
Fire Island Bakery is a block away from where I live. They have amazing bread, sandwiches, and soup. My very favorite go to item is their peanut butter and cream cookie. It's Devine.

Olia M.

Yelp
This place is always on our list. It's hard to find a sourdough breads around here and this bakery has a very good selection. It's always busy but they run some cool system and the line hoes super fast, so don't be discouraged when you enter and see the line to the door- don't leave! Also the gift shop next door is super dope. Stylish ambiance btw. You will enjoy the food, the coffee/tea and people for sure ! Pet friendly!

Beth B.

Yelp
It's always so overpriced here. And some things are good enough you trick yourself into thinking it's worth it... but it's usually not. The customer service is above and beyond. But if they weren't next to a coffee shop where I glance at what they have while waiting for coffee I would NEVER stop here. I went in earlier this week for coffee. While waiting I saw fire island had a Tuscan soup. "Available later today" (though nobody could estimate when that was and it turns out it was after 12). So I walked 5min in -8° the next day for that soup. No prices on the board and basically everywhere downtown is $6-8 for a 16oz. They gave me my soup and said $16. I should've walked away but I thought this better be the best soup I've ever had. It wasn't. The broth was so gross. Super plain and boring and just not good at all. Like they added one thing and it was the worst thing to add. The soup was basically 90% kale. I had 5 of the TINIEST pieces of Italian sausage (like 1/4 of a meatball size) and 3 potatoes. The rest was kale. If there were any other ingredients I missed them. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to not get that soup.
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
I enjoy going to bakeries so I had to drop by when I saw that there was one nearby. Customer service: friendly and quick service as the lines can get long during peak times. Baked goods: The bread is baked fresh daily it seems. The croissants are huge and delicious even if eaten the next day. I bet it tastes better on the same day and warmed. The cost is average for what I'd pay for a croissant at a bakery. The bakery is not huge so can have limited seating when busy.

Yelp
What a beautiful and inviting place ! Fire Island never disappoints . I feel like I could make this place my home away from home . Everyone in Anchorage ( well almost everyone ) knows Fire Island is the best bakery . Everything is top notch . That includes the staff . The architecture is amazing . There are several cool business that I think moved in at the same time ( maybe it was a plan ) There is a house plant shop ,with espresso and a wine shop . Today I got the spicy rockfish sandwich and my very favorite a Fire Island chocolate chip cookie !!

Yelp
I bought the Blueberry Chamomile Cake, it's drop the mic great! The best birthday cake I've "bought" for myself ever! Thank you

Yelp
Epic baked goods and delicious soup too. A perfect atmosphere that was open on Mother's Day. I love the attached shops as well including the garden shop with a barrista, wine shop, and grocery store. I could just live there!
google avatar

Janice C.

Yelp
I love this place. I'm sitting in the parking lot right now eating my Gruyer cheese, apple and rosemary scone. Soups rock, focaccia is great, and of course, the scones.
google avatar

Maggie P.

Yelp
I love this place! Had some of the best scones I have ever had in my life here. I've also tried the croissants which are buttery and flaky, and a ham and cheese sandwich which was on some delicious crusty bread. I will definitely come back!

PJ L.

Yelp
We were there first thing in the morning for the Aurora train to Fairbanks. Got a sampling of everything for the twelve hour ride. Such a great idea for anyone taking that voyage. Nothing against the fare on the train but this was a perfect choice for us. Everything was delicious!
google avatar

michele d.

Yelp
Quick stop to grab a sandwich for lunch. One sandwich = $16 Two cupcakes for kids = $14 Total = $30, tip not included. I'd be poor if I ate there every week. Only going back for bread or baguettes now.
google avatar

Bob T.

Yelp
It's false advertising. This place advertises gluten free options. So, after a longish walk through a sketchy part of town and waiting in line for 15 minutes, you learn that the only gluten free option is to buy an entire polenta cake.
google avatar

Savannah M.

Yelp
There is a reason for the line out the door, I promise. Their baked goods are phenomenal and their sandwiches are great too. Be sure to arrive early otherwise whatever you want is sure to be sold out (especially on weekends).

Donna H.

Yelp
Downtown Anchorage and a Gem! The breakfast pastries whether sweet or savory were perfectly executed. The coffee was robust and memorable. Staff are professional and polite!

Yelp
New location, same busted process. The food at Fire Island is fantastic, I don't think anyone in Anchorage would disagree. Their setup/process is horrendous. They've moved to a new building and kept the same inefficient setup they had at the old location. Here's how it works: 1) Stand in line. 2) Look at a menu board. 3) Get up to where you can see what they have. 4) You order your first choice, they are out of it. You order your second choice, they are out of it. You struggle and just panic-point at something they do have because you don't want to be a part of the problem and add to the line...that is created by the wildy inaccurate menu board. Either FIX YOUR MENU BOARD or REMOVE IT. It's ridiculous. Y'all are always out of everything, the menu board is a joke. Forcing customers to quickly survey all baked goods right at the register is customer-hostile and contributes to your long lines. The phantom-food disappointment is so bad, that I have stopped my routine of going here once a week. Tired of them never having any sandwiches, and eating cookies for breakfast instead.
google avatar

Nat W.

Yelp
This bakery is about 15min walk from the center of downtown Anchorage. I ordered a seasonal cupcake: strawberry shortcake for $6, Ham and Swiss croissant and monkey bread. The cupcake was really good. It was not too sweet and it was not made of regular sponge cake, but more like dense angel cake....Chewy in a good way. Ham and Swiss croissant was still good heating up next day. Monkey bread was a no. It was very dry. I might go back next time to try their scones!
google avatar

Traci F.

Yelp
When researching restaurants to try on a trip to Anchorage, this place kept coming up as a must try. It is located in a building with a couple of other shops. There is a parking lot with lots of spaces. There is both seating inside and outside. As soon as I entered I knew it was going to be good. Everything looked yummy so it was so hard to choose. I ended up ordering a sausage and egg breakfast sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie. They will heat up your sandwich upon request. It is served on their yummy bread and has a slightly sweet spread on it. The sausage is peppery and hearty. The sprouts add the perfect freshness. The chocolate chip cookie is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside just the way I like them. I'll have to go back to try their croissants!
google avatar

Brigitte C.

Yelp
Service was amazing! Got asked if we had been helped by at least 5 different employees in all of 5 minutes. Food was SO GOOD. It's attached to a super cute plant store which doubles as a coffee shop. There is also a produce place & juice bar and a store that sells alcohol.
google avatar

Yelp
Even a decade later, Fire Island continues to shine as one of our favorite spots in Anchorage. Every item they make is picture perfect and divinely delicious. You can tell the staff takes great pride in their baked goods and treats! Everyone is always so welcoming, and the bakery displays are eye popping . We love to stop in for a lazy morning of coffee and pastries or pick up a few treats for later. If you're downtown, make sure to go out of your way to stop in! You won't be disappointed!
google avatar

Matt B.

Yelp
Great artisan bakery with high-quality bread loads, sandwiches, baked goods, etc. They even have a few vegan baked items. We got their sourdough loaf to go ($9!), plus a couple of tasty birdseed bars ($3 each) one morning while waited for our breakfast table at nearby Snow City Cafe. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, which seems to be the norm in Anchorage. There's also a full espresso bar in the same building (That Feeling Co) that you can get a nice coffee to accompany your bakery item. Definitely the place to go for high-quality bread in Anchorage.
google avatar

Julia H.

Yelp
Wow, coming from cities in California, I was skeptical if I'd be impressed by a bakery from Alaska. But I was definitely proved wrong!! I got to try the breakfast focaccia which is such an amazing concept. Some delicious focaccia bread topped with sausage, potatoes, cheese, and a beautifully cooked egg with runny yolk. My only complaint is that I wish it could be warmed up so the cheese would be melted and oozy. The item you MUST order however is the roasted garlic and salt loaf of bread. WOWOWOW. A beautiful loaf topped with flaky salt and stuffed with whole cloves of roasted garlic. What I would do to get some of that bread here in California.
google avatar

Emily A.

Yelp
Food was delicious. If the pictures look appealing you will love it. The line is long but moves pretty quickly and there isn't as much seating but you can sit on the curb or under the tree outside and have a little picnic . I docked one star because they run out of so many things it's a little disappointing not to get the focaccia or breakfast Sammie that looks so good but that is just a testament to how delicious it is. Go early to get it!

Yelp
This is where we started our trip in Alaska and we couldn't ask for a better place than this! I love the open kitchen where I could see behind the scene of how the bread and pastries are made. The place is clean and bright. I got the focaccia with sausage and the pain au chocolat. The worker was very nice to offered them warmed up. Breakfast focaccia (5/5) The focaccia is made with sour dough which wasn't overly sour. The bread itself is fluffy and surprisingly moist. The egg is still soft and perfectly cooked. This focaccia is probably one of the best I've ever had, highly recommend! Pain au chocolat (4.5/5) The pain au chocolat has a crispy and buttery nutty note to it. The chocolate isn't overly sweet and it has just the right amount of chocolate filling. Highly recommend this place for a quick breakfast!

Yelp
Delicious strawberry shortcake cupcake. $7, so definitely pricey but good. Not sure if $7 Is appropriate for a regular sized cupcake. I've had the big names too-Sprinkles, Magnolia, Georgetown and Crumb and don't think I paid that much. Line went fast, service was great. Plenty of tables, open space in a lovely area with a juice bar, coffees shop and plant store.

Yelp
Simply the best pastries and artisan bread in Alaska. If I had to choose a favorite, I love their seedy baguettes, and the chocolate cupcakes are sublime. Their sandwiches are so fresh and tasty, they feel like a luxury meal. Their upgrades spaces are welcoming, too.

Yelp
I LOVE FIRE ISLAND. The vibe, the down to earth atmosphere, the staff, the BAKED GOODS- it's all amazing to put lightly. Saturdays they have a rum soaked campagne bread that is to die for- especially toasted with butter on top!! I recommend this business 20/10.
