The Legacy of Charlie Trotter’s Lives on in the Hands of the Chef’s Son | Eater Chicago

"A new restaurant by Grant Achatz that has been praised for offering a relatively accessible tasting-menu option in today’s market, noted specifically for a "$115-per-person tasting menu" that the late chef’s son singled out as a model for balancing excellence and affordability." - Ashok Selvam

This place is a gem in the area! Such a cool space and place to gather. All that accommodations are there. Anything you would need for a great party. The design is so well thought out and the ambience is perfect. Peter, the owner, is great to work with! I am looking forward to more future birthdays, celebrations and nights of music there!

I've now been to an event and also hosted an event here. Both experiences were fantastic. They do everything and make having a party trouble free and amazing. Our food was a taco bar and our guests absolutely loved it. They can drop the lights and use their custom colored lighting and play whatever music you want at any volume you choose. There is also a Fire Company museum downstairs, and a hidden speak-easy bar in the basement. It has been recently renovated so the interior and exterior look brand new. The staff is friendly and attentive, and I can't recommend here highly enough. Superb event space!

We had our small wedding ceremony and reception here in mid April and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pete, Janet, Jason and Rebecca. They made our day run smoothly by being so attentive and helpful. We wanted a relaxed and simple wedding, but got so much more. All of our guests said the venue has such a wonderful feeling about it. Pete performed our ceremony and added so many personal touches. Thank you for making our day wonderful! Karen & Rich.

The location was excellent as a venue for my father's 60th birthday party. In addition to the great food, friendly staff, and convenience of having the party there, the atmosphere and collection of antique fire fighting memorabilia made the location a hit with all the guests.
